The main question is do you have use of the benefits to holding FUN token, if you do I dont see the point especially of selling.    You may choose also to not lock in order to speculate in future and sell them.   I dont mind the lock as I have zero intention of selling near term.   I would sell into a frothy type market where the token price had risen alot but we arent anywhere near to that, I think it can happen especially if people dont expect it to occur.
Dont sell into the first trend of gains, thats a classic mistake made by the public but of course its impossible to tell you exactly as you may have a need for the funds elsewhere or just know a better trade.   The ideal is to sell at the tail end of a series of gains rather then the beginning and easiest of all is just to use the benefits and not worry about juggling them especially, I think its hard to judge them as a trade.  My take for BTC this year is just back and forth or range bound, a breakout cant occur every year on the scale we've seen I think its distributes and thats a good thing & some of that capital will come here imo.
That has been something I rooted for and talked about many times before. If you have Fun tokens, you could see that as an investment if you want to, and that is a legit approach and I have nothing against it. However, people are forgetting that there are people like me, who do not buy it to sell it. I have no intention of selling mine, and to be fair I keep "buying" more and more with the affiliate income that I make. That way I do not put money in my pocket into fun tokens, but I prefer not to put money in my pocket for it, so basically the same thing with a little twist.

This allows me to grow it bigger and then make a bigger return, specially that interest rate is the one that I care about so much. The max is 5% if I am not wrong right? Maybe I calculated it wrong but 5% on BTC is insanely good return.
1382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the Bitcoin network if Russia blocks access to the internet? on: March 10, 2022, 09:16:26 AM
If Russian miners can not see blocks coming from the rest of the world and the world does not see Russia's, then does it not lead to forking?

I believe o_e_l_e_o meant something else.  If you have 75% of the hashrate and I have 25% and suddenly we lose connection, the blocks continue on my side as if you disconnected and on your side as if I did.  You still have a significantly higher hashrate than I do, which makes it easier to solve blocks for you than it is for me.  Since to me it is way more difficult to solve blocks, by the time difficulty changes you will have mined more blocks than I did.  The difficulty changes, so now your chain continues to be first although I do not see it yet.  Now the question remains, do we continue sideways until we connect and my progress vanishes in front of your chain or do we fork?  The safest and most logical way is the latter, unless the Russians want to play a Bitcoin Russian roulette.
It doesn't have multiple chains, it has one. Which means if there is a blockchain the whole world agrees to, and we all use it, then suddenly Russia goes out, just Russia goes out, the blockchain continues like nothing happened. If Russians are somehow trying to connect to it, they will fail, so they will have to create their own coin.

Consider it like BCH, bitcoin cash was created from Bitcoin blocks as well and became its own coin, Russians basically will have that. Bitcoin has only one, and it can't be separated like that. If you really want to find a better way, they could just use a VPN to access bitcoin even if the government blocks them.
1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inflation is here Why is not Bitcoin Saving Us? on: March 09, 2022, 10:23:09 PM
Yes inflation has happened, and what were you expecting to happen? Were you expecting to become a millionaire immediately you have invested your money in Bitcoin? If that was your expectation then I am sorry you would be highly disappointed. From 2018 to 2021, the price of Bitcoin was very low, why didn’t you invest all this while, or even invest in 2015 when the price of Bitcoin was as low as $200? But, no most of you chose to neglect Bitcoin, because you thought it was useless.

But, now you have seen how far it has gotten. You will just get in within a short time and you would be expecting the price to reach a really high price so that you will become rich immediately. The price won’t go up like that, it’s something that takes years for it to happen.
1384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready to SODL on: March 09, 2022, 08:14:54 PM
People could sell their coins anytime they want, I would not be bothered by it. I have always had the same type of understanding of the market and I will always have the same one in the future. The only problem would be some top 10 coins not being top 10 in the future like previously, but it would impact like 30% of my portfolio and that's it. That is a bad hit to take and I wish to not take it, but if I have to then I will, nothing else I could do.

However, there is a fact that if people keep on selling more and more, that will usually end up with me getting more profit and I am not bothered by it. I mean getting it at the bottom is the first rule of getting richer.
1385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentraland (MANA) price prediction: will the token rebound? on: March 09, 2022, 06:59:03 PM
I mean Mana dropped more than 50%+ of its ATH and that is the problem here isn't it? Doesn't mean that we are talking about just a regular market fall. BTC did not drop 50%+ , nor did ETH, many other big names, none of them dropped 50%. Are there any that dropped more than 50%? Surely there are, and they are in the same boat. So tomorrow if all projects did 2, Mana would be closer to ATH while BTC breaks over its ATH.

Mana will be 5 bucks and ATH will be 6 bucks. Whereas BTC will be 84k+. That is the problem, Mana dropped way more than market average and unless it recovers a bit while the market doesn't, then it will be significantly bad decision to keep your money here and would be smarter to move to something more successful.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the cryptocurrency market entering a bear month? on: March 09, 2022, 06:29:21 PM
I am not sure if the future is still bearish though. I mean during that period we had bearish tendencies I will give you that one, even though we rose to 42k+ plenty of times as well, it never broke over 50k and that means it was never bull, and would I call it bearish? No, I would not, but I understand the ones that do.

Unfortunately in crypto, when price drops, that is bearish and that is true for everything but for some reason when it doesn't recover, people still keep calling it bearish. If something falls from 68k to 40k, that is bearish, if it stays at 40k and around for months that is not bearish, that is just stagnant and there is a big difference between them.

But it would be better if we don't use a centralized exchange to send money to the casino because we don't know if they still don't monitor the transaction or they will find out about the transactions we make. Although we can still do that, we should be more careful because exchanges have the ability to check each member's account. I try not to use a centralized exchange to send funds to the casino for that reason just now. But hopefully, the casino still doesn't monitor the transactions we make to the casino.
The risk is there, but at the same time this is gambling we are talking about. I mean in the gambling world we are always talking about a possibility of losing all of your money while gambling. Which means that we should be able to realize that the money is gone from the moment we deposit it. Obviously, it may not be the same as putting your money on a bet and losing it versus withdrawing to an exchange and losing it, those are very different things, but the end result is still losing your money.

Secondly and most importantly, Binance is big enough to check all of it, so that means if it came from Binance or goes to Binance then you should be fine, they would be able to cover that since they actually do care about customers and help them out.

I know that the majority of their income is from gamblers and mining and by those profits they come up for us with all sort of side bonuses all the time to keep us entertained and why not giving us the possibility to earn more.I have started the above strategy at 1 March and right now I am holding like 9000 Satoshi and 50.111 FUN tokens,I can depending on the situation in the price market of FUN/Sat make adequate changes to my balances to increase the profit, meanwhile I enjoy my 9-10 free WoF spins in which most of the days I win a minimum of 200 RP and once I reach the 1000 RP I convert to Free 1000% Btc bonus so I can get 10x Satoshis on my free rolls,so far it is going according to the plan for me.
I believe that they do not even do "cpu mining" thing anymore, that was an option back in the day, but not anymore. They probably already have enough money even if they close the website down today, to just buy a HUGE land and build a warehouse looking thing with ten thousand gpu system to mine and make a profit. However, they are still going with this.

My response wasn't really saying "your method is not alright", it was more about how freebitcoin is not a free place and even with that you could make over a thousand per year, obviously a lot more since the price also goes up, so it is quite a good side hustle. How many side hustle are out there that would pay you a thousand per year? Or even 500 bucks a year? With only 10 minutes spent per day (could be done 16 times a day if you really want to and takes no more than 1 minute), so we should just realize how much money that is. It is not just one person neither, they are saying anyone who wants to do this can do it.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to sell? on: March 08, 2022, 05:28:02 PM
I would sell SOL because it is centralized. They have frozen the chain in a case for hacking. They did prevent the hacking attempt thanks to that and people didn't care and they celebrated it, but if they can do it for hacking attempt, they can do it for you as well and I do not like centralization at that level.

So, SOL is out for sure. Aside from that, others look similar but Terra is something I haven't invested before, I invested a bit on all others so I have to get Terra out. Not because it is bad or anything but because I haven't done anything about it just yet. So, those two would be out for me, and rest are not looking amazing, but not looking bad neither.
any other top 50 tokens that are must have but not on my list? maybe ATOM?
I always loved Cake and Uni tokens as well. Cake is barely out of top 50, and people think that their time is over right now and the token itself is not wanted too much because of the drop in the rank. However, it is a long term project and not one time thing so I am guessing that there will be some more improvements.

Plus, it is not that much out of top 50 neither, just a bit out of it right now. Axie is building the new game, which could either destroy Axie and make it guaranteed to drop, or it will recover it and everyone will start using it once again and increase the price of it. Algo is also very much liked by people on reddit, no idea if it would be good or not, but that is a potential.

Lots of ways though to get to that Bitcoin faster than 27.4 years at Freebitco.in but you need to be a Premium Member there as a minimum at level 3 or level 4.Once you have that you get like 9-10 free WoF spins daily beside your normal free rolls.Use the free WoF spins to add up your RP faster and convert them to 1000% BTC bonus in order to get like 10x of your normal roll as a reward. You can also be lucky and win one of the big prizes in the WoF one day and hit that bitcoin much sooner than 27.40 years.Let's not forget the little interest earned on your balance here at Freebitco.in which can be a decent amount if your balance only keep increasing. This is my strategy right now and I am happy so far with the results.I know this is an over optimistic thinking but that's me.
It is also very important to realize that freebitco.in wasn't created so that you could get rich from it. I mean even 27 years for 1 bitcoin is not bad, why? Because that is basically over 1k+ per year (at around 40k per bitcoin, 27 years, so it is more than 1k). And how many places do give you that much?

Secondly the price of bitcoin will go up even more, so while you are already hodling bitcoin amount will be higher, the amount you will earn will get lesser, so that 1 bitcoin number will certainly be longer than 27 years, but it will be more than 40k as well, you can reach that 40k easier with the increasing amount. Lastly, once again, freebitco.in (even though the name suggests otherwise) is not a place to get a free bitcoin, it is a casino at this point, that gives great side-stuff and you should focus on that.
1392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin likely won't recover until 2025 on: March 07, 2022, 04:45:30 PM
As long as we know how to trade then bitcoin not getting another ATH is not a problem. Gone are the days of holding too long for ATH most profit now are made thru trading, though holding bitcoin is still safer and can still give profit in the long run than holding other altcoins since ICO history of scamming and projects tends to run or escaped the users are now more careful into holding.
I would say that is not really "gone". I mean you could end up making some profit even during this period, but that doesn't change that you could put all your money and income into crypto as much as you can afford to lose and then hope for the best.

I mean I do it, and so far it has worked out very well. If you start doing that during the bottom times like these days, and you keep doing that for few years and live the biggest bulls then you will end up with insane profits. A friend of mine started a bit before the 2017 ATH run, and he made a good return but lost it all when the price crashed, he kept going for YEARS, and eventually in 2021 he was very rich. That means you could still do the long term game.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022 Shiba Inu (SHIB Token) reaches 0.1 DOGE? on: March 06, 2022, 08:22:03 PM
I have seen dogecoin as noticeable one for valuation however it neglected to keep up its brilliance because of absence of help from devs who made it a limitless stock based coin. This time shiba has large marketcpa and isn't that enough for you as shiba coin holders? Don't you even expect shiba to arrive at the cost. I surmise in future numerous resources might be esteemed as far as dogecoins in the event that Elon Musk keeps it siphoning up.
Dogecoin is already popular so everyone noticed it already and for them dogecoin is one of the valuable coins so they must take care of it as it can bring them wealth. That is what they say about the dogecoin devs, they say that devs of dogecoin abandoned their project maybe because they wasn't serious about it that time because they only made the coin out of a meme, that's why it has a crazy supply but if they see dogecoin now, they'll be shocked that it was still alive and kicking.

Large market cap of shiba can be a good thing but I believe that this isn't enough, shiba coin hodlers are still looking for more. Shiba coin is still far from dogecoin if I'm going to rate it.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 06, 2022, 07:46:08 PM
The game between Australia and Pakistan was an Interesting one. Some people will think, it will be easy win for Australia. But the pakistan game was changed now. They had a good space and Spin bowlers. The spin bowler of the pakistan will smash all the main wicket of top player of Australia. If the pakistan team take all 10 wickets of Australia with 250 runs, they can easily take remaining 10 wicket in 600 maximum. So Pakistan had easy target on 200 runs.
Here I agree with your all statement still it is very long way for Pakistan to compete in International level because it needs some good and strong mind set which is not available here we have very good and top class series after space of 24 years and their strategy is not good they are preparing very slow wickets which are not helpful for anyone even now fans are not enjoying this game

They have some good criticize from their own many old cricketers for this right now game tempo is completely changed and peoples need some good entertainment but with this pitch it is not happening bowlers struggling very badly and batsmen have very safe heaven which make this match very bore lets watch how they prepare for next matches.
1395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take stock or hodl ? on: March 06, 2022, 06:46:30 PM
What’s you’re target first? Do you just invest in the market without having any target at all? If you reached your target then the best decision at the time would be sell your coins and wait for another dip to start buying again. The strategy to benefiting in the market is simply to buy low and sell high, when the price goes up you can sell and wait for another time when it will be low and you will start investing again and waiting for the next good time to start buying.

You are only going to continue to HODL if you’re the type that has no plan or target, and at the end the market plummets after reaching its peak, and you bear the losses. Fyi, you can’t tell when the market has reached its peak. Even if you sell before it got to its peak, there is no need to regret if you’re okay with what you have got at first.
What? Investing without a target? But, is that even possible? Then for what reasons why he is doing this, only to join the trend? So that he will look like he is updated on what is new but I believe that every investor here do always have their goals or they have a purpose on why they are here and is to produce income.

The market has no boundaries so yes it's not possible to tell if it reach the highest already or not however we can tell that if the price have recovered or have reached an ATH. We can use that as an indication for selling. Do not wait too much because you will only fail. Right now, BTC and ETH have declined so it's best to continue holding them.
1396  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics on: March 06, 2022, 04:03:33 PM
Digital currencies tied to nations are not a bad idea. People keep acting as if "we want decentralization!!! governments shouldn't get in!!" but they are forgetting that they are buying USDT from a company called Tether, and buying BUSD from a company called Binance, and USDC from a company called Coinbase.

So, basically the stablecoin world has been centralized since its start, it was never really a decentralized thing. It means, would you prefer that some guy being a CEO of a company be in charge of all the money you are holding, or do youw ant that to be a nation? I would prefer the nation part because even though we dislike governments, they are more trustworthy then "some guy" at the top of a company.
1397  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects after Russia blocks Facebook, Twitter, etc.! on: March 05, 2022, 10:08:21 PM
To be fair twitter or facebook is not really that important for the ordinary Russian citizen. If you have a business there, that is heavily based on Russians being on facebook or twitter or whatever, then it would impact you, but most of these goes back to rich people anyway, even the smaller business owner that relies on this could find a Russian alternative, but the big media companies would have to be the ones that got hurt the most out of this.

Aside from that, there are so many more wrong things, the worst I have heard was Russian students getting kicked out of some schools in Europe. If you are a child of an oligarch that supports Putin, then I would understand but aside from that, there is absolutely no reason for such a thing.
1398  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: March 05, 2022, 08:24:21 PM
--------
Drake as ambassador will bring his followers to Stake, it is win-win situation for both parties. Tomorrow it will be huge stream with Drake since he will drop extra bonuses in live stream and I expect more than 30k viewers compared to average 4k viewers each Saturday.
It is surely big deal, probably over 100 mln will be paid yearly for this partnership 😀
No matter how much is the deal between Drake and Stake, I'm sure most of us wont be imagining the real value as it can be something so huge for us to hear  Cheesy As small players, I would prefer to wait for the giveaway from this new deal. I heard on Telegram that there will be a record breaking giveaway to celebrate this partnership. Hope to see the giveaway will be posted soon and all Stakers can enjoy it.
That's the thing with a lot of money, and I mean like A LOT of money. When you hear 100 million dollars, that's really not that much different than 72 million dollars, or 83, or 95, or 68. They are all basically the same thing for you and I.

However, a business that has 68 million valuation versus one with 100 million valuation could be VERY different, like miles different. On average, people who make 450k+ a year would be considered 1% richest people in the world, that was the number that I saw back in the day I don't know if that is still the case. If you are nowhere near that (not even 10% for me) then you would never understand those huge amounts.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't lock your tokens away on: March 05, 2022, 06:03:46 PM
Of course, you're right with holding a coin and then being forgotten for a really bad time.
We hold the coin for as long as it doesn't matter as long as we monitor the progress of the coin project,
because there must be a lot of changes in the next few years or even
what I really experienced they are not strong in the extreme market.
What I experienced was when I forgot it even left them only a year ago I came back their community
died and I regret why I didn't sell it for a small profit. I'm sure this hurts as much as you feel.
From this I really don't want to hold the old coin in fact I will only hold it for
a week if that means there is good news in the next week.
Small profits are not a problem as long as you don't lose the assets you have bought.
Why regret when your loss is only small? but it makes sense to me after you said that "it's better to take small profits than to totally lose them". It sucks when you're only feeding the scammers and not getting anything but why won't you hold an old coin for too long? Old coins tend to be more safer and they are already on their full phase, I mean they will hardly make any changes anymore that can make you lose your coin if ever you are not monitoring it.

If there is good news with them, that's fine and their value can increase because of it but don't worry if ever your not there the moment that happens because the increase could still continue for a longer time.
1400  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: March 05, 2022, 01:38:36 PM
Europe's dependence on gas supply from Russia is of course very well understood by Russia so that it dares to invade Ukraine, I'm sure European countries will not be too bold in giving sanctions or helping Ukraine to fight Russia, the best solution might be to leave Russia until what they want is achieved in order to save gas supply and european industry.
this maybe the reason why putin is so adamant in invading ukraine because he has cards from his end. but for sure, some of these countries relying from russia are now looking for alternatives, because it can easily gets to worst. so they need to prepare for whatever scenario they will face after this terrible war.
we all hope that putin comes to his senses. but seems that it's not gonna happen from what we are witnessing in the past few days.
maybe, time to seriously look for renewable sources of energy. and not rely from gas.
We have to remember that Russia needs to be careful about the situation as well. They might be way too late about it too. Europe will remember this and either they will get the gas from Russia or not get it, I am 100% sure that we are going to see Europe looking for alternatives for sure.

France with Nuclear plants already, that's given but I am going to assume that in 10 years or so Russia will not even need sanctions to not be able to sell gas, nobody will need it anymore thanks to renewable energy sources. Which is why threatening with energy sources is not a great way to get out of this situation for Russia, that makes his customers look for alternatives.
