1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Retrospective airdrop experiences on: September 16, 2023, 05:13:13 AM
Mine:

— Testnets are waste of time
— Zealy/Taskon/Galx and such platforms are waste of time
— Using platforms for sake of being interested can be rewarding while using them for sake of airdrop leads to burning
 out and disappointment
— Retrospective airdrop trend is too saturated, good amount of money is no longer found here
— Already announced airdrops are waste of time
— Projects/'X' influencers are milking the hype
— Minting NFTs to qualify is waste.

Share yours?

Yep, the truth that many people do not like to accept and waste time, money, health,... I would like to add that developers are wasting their time with users in this market. So What would be reasonable here?

Repeating everything the OP and what I mentioned, waste is wasting time, effort, and money on things we don't understand. The reverse story of the few projects that resonate in this space only brings happiness to a few, just think if we are willing to research those things in the hope of having a chance.

So if you don't want to waste money, go through those things first to see the mistakes later. If you're lucky, you can also receive some budget. And the work of finding opportunities in this market will really be promoted when they find its many traps. I quite like to say "the beginning of success will be failures".
1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 04:57:31 AM
I think about this, when you think about who will manage your assets for you, then the person you trust must also think like you (keep looking for a wealth manager for similar issues ), an infinite loop that doesn't know where to stop. So looking back a bit, even the great achievements of ancient civilizations to the present are only understood in a historical language (my personal limited understanding of it),

So frankly here, if you have any fear, instead of being stuck with what your created and regretting it, feel free to do the best you can in the present, more specifically, help others by helping othersyour ability.
1384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Was it my fault or not? on: September 15, 2023, 04:05:10 AM
OP,

If you're looking for something from this forum, be more honest first. The story you share here seems unrealistic, and like a fabrication full of errors of expression.
1385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Countries living behind their century, taking a back sit on BTC evolution. on: September 15, 2023, 03:49:48 AM
From a national perspective, I think there are no obstacles. The truth is that awareness and access to opportunities still take time. Similar to the story of the internet, there are still many places that are inaccessible to many people. Still don't know what it is and how to use it.

Maybe somewhere scientific technology is developing rapidly, but besides that the imbalance has not yet been able to cover the existing knowledge, I have also come across some great ideas from this very forum about teaching related to this field (only purely theoretical, due to conditions).

For the economies of many poor countries, the truth is that they are not ready to prepare for these new things, economic problems leave them without enough opportunities, humanitarian organizations or economic support... still working, small actions from individuals I think are commendable to help others.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low cap altcoins best for rising price? on: September 15, 2023, 03:41:12 AM
Right now "low cap" is what most coins are doing, and for me a cap of under $50m would be included in that category, and of course that's just the standard.

Small criteria for evaluation come with things like product, development plan, team,... finding this type of big profit opportunity also comes with many risks, there are many pump/ dump exists and attracts people at this stage.

Anyway, it is each person's decision to evaluate. For me, safety is still reserved for the top things in the market. Of course, it is necessary to build a specific strategy to suit what the individual wants can make optimal use of the investment process.
1387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream coins or altcoins? on: September 15, 2023, 03:35:14 AM
Thank you for your input, and I greatly appreciate your perspective. In the cryptocurrency market, there are indeed two primary classifications: Bitcoin and altcoins. Given Bitcoin's pioneering status, it has always been in the spotlight. However, the emergence of altcoins has added more dynamism to this market. For me, I tend to lean towards investing in some altcoins rather than just Bitcoin. While many altcoin projects end up being abandoned or scams, there are also several altcoin projects that have shown remarkable promise and achieved success. I believe the key lies in carefully researching and analyzing specific projects to understand their future potential and feasibility.Additionally, the risk management aspect you mentioned is crucial. To mitigate investment risks, I also employ a diversified strategy, which means I invest in some altcoins alongside Bitcoin to balance my investment portfolio. Most importantly, I genuinely wish to connect with cryptocurrency investors from around the world and share our insights and experiences. If you have any suggestions or methods that could help me engage and communicate better with this community, I would greatly appreciate it.
If you are willing to share some insights on how to connect with other cryptocurrency investors, it would be highly valuable. I look forward to building relationships with like-minded individuals and pursuing success together in the world of digital currencies!
But questions from newbies about this market seem to abound, like what's the best? what's the worst? Which one should buy?....

I think the main problem lies in the most basic concepts, and you can completely research the history of market development yourself through modern projects present in the top10.

And I also want to generalize a bit about the components inside this market, mostly Bitcoin and Altcoin (also stablecoin).

Still want to remind about the starting journey even if you don't understand what it is but If you have heard about it, I still recommend focusing your research on bitcoin and then moving on to other opportunities from altcoins, this market has strong fluctuations, it is both an opportunity and a risk, be ready to accompany that change.
1388  Economy / Economics / Re: Human Capital, An Intangible Asset for a Company's success. on: September 14, 2023, 03:46:58 AM
"Human Capital" , I implicitly understand that it is human merit

Unlike merit on the forum, here I can understand it as a basic thing and the source for developing everything. Perhaps this term will be heard a lot in religions.

I feel that life operates in a fair way, and every result is created for a reason, from success or failure there is a reason for it. Similar to the example of growing an apple, if you want to have a delicious fruit, there are many factors to create it and vice versa, we ourselves as humans seem to be forgetting these truths in life. There is no need for anyone or any organization to do any research, just feel for yourself if the criteria the OP mentioned (not complete), I believe will be part of the subsequent success.

1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The implications of FTX's multi-billion crypto sell-off... on: September 14, 2023, 03:34:18 AM
FTX wants permission to sell $3.4 billion in crypto assets, including a big chunk of Solana (SOL) tokens. They're also tangled in a lawsuit with LayerZero over $21 million in lost assets. The Delaware Bankruptcy Court will decide today, September 13, 2023. FTX plans to sell tokens, starting with $100 million a week, possibly going up to $200 million for each type. FTX owns $1.16 billion in SOL tokens, a big part of their $3.4 billion crypto stash.

Source: https://decrypt.co/155844/ftx-looks-to-offload-billions-in-crypto-heres-what-it-means

Could this possibly have a major impact on the crypto market? I personally don't think so because of the $100-$200M selling limit per week. Also, FTX's Solana exposure is vested, meaning they won't be able to access those tokens until 2028. But, as we all know, anything is possible in crypto! Let's see how the market reacts.
The prospect of these coins being sold off onto the market regularly every week makes the community extremely worried. With the plan approved, FTX will sell the coins without informing the community, instead, they will only notify the government trustees and creditor representatives. FTX proposed in the plan that they would sell this crypto without prior notice.

This initial proposal met with opposition from some commissioners. They believe that the sale of large amounts of BTC, ETH and similar coins needs to be widely announced to the community first. This can help reduce the impact on the market and keep people fearless. FTX revised the proposal based on officials' opinions. However, FTX still maintains the stance of not announcing sell orders in advance to keep the coin prices at the best possible level.

Perhaps we also need to be alert to these issues, because selling this compared to the market value will not be worth it, so don't be too afraid of the news, but also need to be careful with the crypto you are holding that FTX holds. The current situation seems like the market has not yet reacted strongly to this, after all, this is an ongoing part, besides we are also at a stage where there is also a lot of special attention for for the market sales.

1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin kwoledge is not complete without bitcoin investment on: September 14, 2023, 03:24:20 AM
From sharing the OP, I can sense a number of problems, from capital management, or lack of knowledge leading to skepticism and fear about what I am watching. With the mistakes I have made, lack of knowledge is the most basic mistake, followed by lack of experience with it, so in addition to accumulating, you also need to research the things yourself tend to hold it. I think if you go through periods of losses and earn back profits in your investment, you will have a mature view of bitcoin, and the journey to success also requires remembering determination and not giving up first failures appear.
1391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $28M stolen from CoinEx - are your funds safe? on: September 14, 2023, 03:14:34 AM
I followed ZachXBT and learned that the hacker group Lazarus was involved in this case. Along with that, CoinEx continues to filter suspicious wallets like on their twitter/X. Through this incident, many people may continue to doubt the safety of users when using services from CEX. They also hope that CoinEx will have a hedge fund for users. But to be honest, since I learned about this market, CoinEx has never been a name that I trust and use, not sure if I have ever traded there, but maybe we should still go here. Be aware of prioritizing and using more reputable CEXs, and also not be too sure that CEX is safe for us.
1392  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 02:58:45 AM
Agree with OP about the changes in the economy in recent years and even in the current context, actually if we look back we have achieved a lot but it seems that it is not enough to continue, the change is necessary and of course adapting to that change to avoid being left behind also requires attention. Not only bitcoin is getting attention, but I also see many new fields and industries appearing that completely change the way they operated before. However, in this forum, when we know about bitcoin, we all believe that the positive impact it creates, I personally am not completely sure but what it has been doing is almost Exactly what we all expected.

1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sybil and how it affects your Retroactive airdrop chances on: September 13, 2023, 04:23:09 AM
There are things that have been recorded that checking sybil is very good to know who is actually interacting, but there are many ways to overcome the rules. Retroactive will have many more complicated criteria to eliminate. Most recently I read an article about an individual who created nearly 22000 wallets on Zksync, and indeed, if not professional enough, I think it would be difficult to detect this user, the trick is quite sophisticated. There are also cases that I heard of where some people have committed bad behavior by randomly sending low value tokens to many different addresses to eliminate participants, it is like a competition. The hunt for airdrops, bounty, testnet, retroactive,... is becoming more and more attractive to many people in the current market context, so there will be many criteria that are constantly updated, anyway if the projects will still pay handsomely, it's still worth a try.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: September 13, 2023, 03:56:42 AM
Some information is being spread on social (unverified) about the fact that Layerzero will not perform the airdrop, according to the video content shared about Robert (L0 representative at the Token2049 event) "this is no airdrop" , pretty much everything I see is disappointing. However, Bryan (CEO L0) shared that it was just cut and edited content.

According to speculation, I will implicitly understand this as an opinion that L0 may still have an airdrop.

Along with that are some rumors about legal risks of FTX vs L0. With a positive view, I think it will not have a big impact on L0 is next plans because L0 is investors are very strong. And imo, it is likely that L0 will soon launch tokens to return to the market because FTX itself is waiting to be licensed to return money to previous investors.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop Events, Testnet Events is not an investment! on: September 12, 2023, 04:19:03 AM
I visited some tele groups about looking for airdrops and they actually expressed their disappointment to a negative level with SEI. Actually, I don't think this problem needs to be too serious because it's not any project. always brings generosity to the community, and the story of SEI bringing anger from the community will probably also be a clearer view of ambiguous projects about marketing programs to attract users, just be transparent from the beginning about the reward story so that those pursuing this job will not be further disappointed. But if it's a bit fair because I myself have also sought opportunities from airdrops, testnets,... then I have to admit that the tasks are too easy to repeat every day, so if I receive a large amount of money that's a great thing, but even if it's just a small amount of money, it doesn't matter because it's not a main job.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether's Stablecoin USDT 'Has a Peg Stability Problem', Claims Analyst on: September 12, 2023, 04:06:40 AM
why does a company need to be involved in tether though. people have to trust a company! isn't that like the antithesis of bitcoin? you would think with all the high tech blockchain stuff we wouldn't have to rely on a company. even relying on a government would be an improvement over that, i would think. but who wants to rely on a government. so it's really bad. bad all around.

tether could just stop redeeming tethers and the value of usdt would go to 0. because no one else redeems it except tether!
More realistic to this story would be that you see things like trading btc/food, water, fire, cigarettes, electricity,... but no it's not happening like that and what people is using and the desire I see here is harmony from bitcoin, not isolation from theory. The terms decentralization, or centralization label many things. I see sometimes people just want to prove a stance on an issue they support, the general view here is that Tether is still very important anyway. In this market and in the future after all the FUD or negative opinions from someone, it is still the main choice of users.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH's Endgame on: September 12, 2023, 03:56:20 AM
Ever since ETH adopted PoS, things have been going into the wrong direction. The network is as centralized as ever with a few big players controlling a large portion of ETH's supply. On top of that, the vast majority of nodes are running on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
I'm not sure the future is so far away as it's clear what's showing and pointing towards the next bull cycle shows that ETH is still showing that they're worthy of the position, looking at things like L2 being pursued today or not even with previous ETH competitors, ETH will always be the object of great attention in market movements.

My biggest concern is not only this, but also Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin. The project is too tied around him. So if he dies (God forbid) or something bad happens to him, you expect ETH's market prices to go all the way down the drain in an instant. It's likely ETH will become worthless after this.
I see that as not a problem, what we are looking at is superficially like the story of the leader driving the product, and of course something as big as Ethereum will not be able to succumb to this problem, the team is not only Vitalik, there will be replacements to help the project operate and develop after many generations. The story that comes to mind is that corporations as we know them last for decades, and they continue when the leaders change.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 Crypto and It's Targets for Next Bull Run on: September 12, 2023, 03:44:06 AM
1. Bitcoin -  $173,805
2. Ethereum - $11,460
3. BNB - $1,190
4. XRP - $8.97
5. ADA - $12.37
6. DOGE - $0.96
7. Solana - $1,367
8. TRX - $0.15
9. MATIC - $7
10. LTC - $361
First you do not need to trust this as OP has said it is a speculation, but if you do trust the speculation, it does not mean that you should invest in all ten of them. It is a better to pick a few and invest in, and in your choices, bitcoin has to be among surely.

The more the amount you have to invest the bigger the temptation which you must avoid to try to invest in all.
Of course, investing is not too dependent on anyone's speculation, it's everyone's initiative. Looking back at what the OP mentioned, I find it quite relaxing in the current context. We are going through a really unexciting time in the market, so speculation seems to be blowing a breath of air into this gloomy atmosphere.

By the way, a little personal speculation, I see Doge boldly proposing a price of $10 (current madness) in the near future, the scenario I imagine is that Elon Musk continues to dip got my hands on it and there was a pump combined with the market condition at the time so that price is a bit ambiguous here Smiley
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of advice is worth giving such people? on: September 12, 2023, 03:30:25 AM
In this environment we can discuss more openly, not only bitcoin but also altcoins are things that hackers target to target the objects within it. I have also experienced a few attacks and damage to my wallet, but what I learned was more about my own mistakes during use to recover later.

New people appear in this market and they pay little attention to security as well as easily fall into traps in cyberspace, sometimes warnings appear a lot but ignoring them makes them pay the price. In the process of continuing, before these challenges I think it is a failure, because it is clear that this is an opportunity that not everyone is aware of, so we should update and adapt to changes in the process.
