141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Elon Musk fake giveaway. on: October 04, 2020, 08:24:32 PM
Been experiencing deja vu from this Elon Musk giveaway, I think this kind of method of impersonating famous/rich people to steal from others have been done hundreds of times already, I don't know if people will still fall for this.
People are still falling for these scams and so is the reason the scammers keep coming up with the same method, for anyone who is aware of these scams we used to think otherwise but there will be people who keep falling for these especially new investors who are planning to enter the market.

Be careful. And remember that Elon Musk loves Dodgecoin first and foremost.
Elon Musk usually trolls people and that is what he did with the dogecoin tweet and nothing else.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: October 04, 2020, 12:05:14 PM
What is the reason they said USDT is a scam coin ? As long we can buy the USDT with our fiat money and sell it back, it is not a scam.
Now that many defi projects have been created in cryptocurrency, stable coin like USDT will be required to be used in their platform.
The reason is their transparency on their promise of holding the worth equivalent as collateral whenever they mint new coins and that got them into trouble and if any authority finds out they are manipulating the market by adding new coins without any collateral then the entire market collapses. So you need to be careful as we have seen many fall apart in this market.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNI - The First Trillion Dollar Crypto? on: October 03, 2020, 07:32:36 PM
I can't give any comments about UNI, but I thank you also for getting 400 UNI for free from some of my active wallets that are used to trade on uniswap, that's cool but I didn't hold it for too long and already sold it some time ago
Good to see that users here was able to get the airdrop and the money you earned how small or big it may be is your profit. I am intrigued by the market and i am looking for new markets and it is a good platform and opportunity for many to make money if you are able to play smart. The yield farming is really attractive and i am waiting to see how this market will do in the long run.

145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will $XRP be safe for long term? on: September 25, 2020, 11:25:25 PM
Real growth in terms of partnership and deal which is only profitable for the team involved? Please study XRP very well you'll see that it was not created for the betterment of crypto community, enthusiast or investors but for the betterment the institutions.
That is the case with all the other coins and projects, the owners make a ton of money even if the project is successful or not. Bitcoin created a monster and then do you think that all the coins that were created were are for the betterment of the community. I am not a big fan of centralized coins either but who knows what their position would be 10 years from now.

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) Coin Future Price ? on: September 18, 2020, 11:48:48 PM
I totally agree with the opinion that TRON is a coin of the future, because TRON's performance is relatively stable. Although TRON rises
very slowly, so investing in TRON is very good for long-term investment. I believe that TRON has a founder who is very active on social
media, especially Twitter, which is what makes TRON more popular. And I predict TRON next year will be able to reach a price of $ 1.
The development has to match with the social media voice, if not we will not see the price soaring as you mentioned. Getting to a dollar needs a huge rally from this valuation at this point. The coin is being rallying whenever the market turns green and it is a really good coin to invest considering the small valuation.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LINK - CHAINLINK in the moon on: August 23, 2020, 07:38:49 PM
Its a great coin to trade actually, if you look at the charts you had many easy clear technical signals to go long and it had very good volatility and you could of made decent money with it. Its also great because many exchanges support the coin now and has potential for many investors.
I was watching the rally and i was not confident in investing in it as i had no idea when the bubble will be broken, but when the market started correcting chainlink started going down and i will be watching how long it will correct. I have seen many social media channels pumping hard but the correction is pretty obvious with a sudden rise and support from many exchanges does not mean much when there is a major correction Wink.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: August 09, 2020, 06:12:19 PM
My selection was bitcoin, ether and usdt are the ones that I think will be leading the market for a long time. In fact, the most popular pairs are BTC, USDT, ETH and it is good that it is that way because we can encourage more people to join our space to learn about these important digital assets.
My take on the dominance is always bitcoin and the top two fork of bitcoin will be along with it, ETH will be the next coin in the market that is dominating the market but when it comes to USDT people usually purchase the coin to hold the value while trading cryptocurrency and you cannot expect USDT to dominate for a long time, if there is a more trust able stable coin people will switch over to that.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: building a crypto criminal database on: August 09, 2020, 04:38:03 PM
Building a criminal database using the blockchain technology is a good idea but it would have to compromise on privacy. This is the greatest challenge, going against what BTC was built for.
Why are you worried about the criminal database and why do you think about privacy for these criminals. There is a clear misunderstanding from what you understand about bitcoin, when you have a public blockchain where you can monitor the money trail from the moment the coin is mined and how come you came to a conclusion that privacy is the main aim of bitcoin.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: This is a total nightmare on: August 09, 2020, 03:04:37 PM
Instead of leaving your IT business and moving into agriculture, how about you run the both Businesses?

A situation cannot make you kill your IT Business, think of other people that are into the same Business, do you think they quit because of this? You just have to come up with a new strategy that will help your business growth. And if you’re afraid, then agriculture can be done in a small scale so you will be able to focus on both. And as for BTC, no matter the price there will always be people who are ready to buy it.
If you look at what the OP said, he never said he is shutting down his IT business and moving to agriculture. Why would you think that he is running a business with many employees and turning to agriculture when he plainly said he is moving because there is no scope and the competition is really high and the stress is too much and in my opinion if the OP wants to move to something that gives him happiness that is more than important than anything else.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's Next Major Move - Crypto Market Analysis on: August 09, 2020, 01:47:54 PM
I think people are wising up to BTC as a way to flee the USA.
Many far left and many far right fear the election (both think their guy may lose) and are stashing wealth into BTC just in case.
Thus price is rising.
Trump busted a move yesterday which means the USA gov will be printing some more money so many fear USD will take a fall.
That is a realistic possibility that people are worried that the dollar would fall but the problem is that it is not just the US government is printing money during this crisis as majority of the government around the globe are doing the same and do you think that the price of bitcoin would stand tall when the economy falls. I can only speculate as i have seen the bitcoin market going down whenever the stock market faces a correction in the past one year.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 09, 2020, 12:26:03 PM
There's reason to believe that betting on, say, sports, is skill-based, as at least there are some people famous for being good at it. But if a person is betting on horse races, does the person need to know a lot about horses and horse races or can one be a successful bettor based on other things (for instance, choosing a certain strategy based on the odds or simply reading what others say about an upcoming race)?
If you are a sports bettor you need to be interested in the sport you are betting and you need to know about everything including the players and their injuries to be a successful bettor and when it comes to horse racing you need to understand and learn about the horse and their well being and i would say it is a much difficult choice of betting than any other sport.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 09, 2020, 12:03:01 PM
Now the small business based casinos have urged the Government to spare them of Lawsuits that might cause their whole business to shut down.

Lawsuits like *I got infected here , there was no sanitization* and boom , you are in the news and finally the casino needs to be shut down.

I never thought about this view point, anyone visiting these casino could file a lawsuit if they get infected and the situation we are undergoing is conducive to these situation as many are loosing their jobs and it is a possibility that someone could take that as an opportunity. Knowing these situation the casino owners will be taking full precaution while operating under these circumstances and the entire building will be surrounded by closed circuit camera as proof, so there is nothing much to worry if they are taking the precautions .
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano to reach 1$ before end of year? on: August 09, 2020, 08:10:25 AM
Even it looking very hard to reach $1 milestone but in crypto's world everything is possible. It has so many surprises for the community.
You cannot shut that down entirely in the cryptocurrency space as it always surprises everyone, if you are not having a restricted time period then you might see the valuation as the development is going well and there are new investments coming into the market and you can expect many investment in these penny coins.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Ethereum Wallets on: August 08, 2020, 06:32:33 PM
i kept a closer look to see if Token Pocket will be mentioned amongst the mobile devise wallets but its unfortunate it didn't make the list.
May be the mobile wallets are really user friendly but i would not advice in holding your coins using a mobile wallet as it is not that secure especially if you are holding huge amount of coins. I am using MyEtherWallet as a default wallet as it is not that complicated and if you are having a hardware wallet it is more secure and then i am using Atomic as a secondary wallet.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still sleeping? on: August 08, 2020, 05:01:22 PM
I agree with you, investing in a new project coin is still very risky...
it is safer to invest in top crypto coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum or BNB. Top crypto coins are highly recommended for investment today because they are safer and more reliable than new coin projects.
The opportunity everyone is looking forward when it comes to cryptocurrency investment is that they wanted to make a fortune like the initial investors in some of the projects including major coins and token projects even thought they have the risk. The smart choice is always to invest in top coins but if you are having enough investment scopes then there is nothing wrong in experimenting in promising and hyped coins and make sure you follow the project to make a sell off decision.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: August 08, 2020, 12:44:16 PM
I'm not afraid of it because currently in my country crypto is illegal but until now I was able to make money from the crypto world, what we need to be afraid of now is that crypto is down and enthusiasts have started a little, don't let it happen
That means there are no local exchanges which will make things hard for you to convert your crypto to fiat and how much extra amount you are spending to overcome those, i know these are not cheap as there will be conversion charges and other charges will converting. Even with all these restrictions there are options but i am not having any issues as i am expecting regulations rather than making it illegal.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price prediction! Something happens. on: August 07, 2020, 11:12:46 PM
Speaking of FOMO, the chance that ETH will reach 1K is very possible. The chance of getting more action coming from this coin
is always possible, knowing that this project always tailed bitcoin if this bull get more strong support then expect that most alts will follow
especially ETH since its still residing strong at the second spot.
If you look at the movement in the past two weeks then we might see a rally towards its all time high valuation. The price of ETH always tried to tail bitcoin but the recent rally might be because of the changes that is expected especially the change to POS and people are purchasing the coin to stake or the DeFi hype that is going on.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: August 07, 2020, 08:21:51 PM
As long as airdrops are free you're not risking anything.

I agree that most airdrops these days are scam but that is because the scammers have learned that people will go to great lenghts to get the coins they were waiting for. So they put hurdles in front of them like:
-do KYC
-make a deposit
-get xxx referrals
and hope to get people in a spiral of slavery for a few bucks.
The scammers are not asking the KYC to provide them the coins but to sell those data and make money and some are so dumb that they would go to any lengths to get a few pennies and that is the reason the scammers are eyeing the cryptocurrency market as it is so easy to prey on these dummies even if there are several examples in front of them.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is 5 years old today! on: August 04, 2020, 11:55:28 PM
On this day 30 july in 2015, the main network of one of the most beloved cryptocurrencies, Ethereum, was launched.
Congratulations to everyone who has supported and developed the project all these years!
The initial phase was really cool and anyone who missed the initial days of bitcoin had the opportunity to invest in ETH and that too at a very nominal price and i never expected the coin to rally like this even though i invested during the initial phase of ETH and it has helped me fulfill some of my dreams but i never thought it was 5 years ago as it feels like it just happened a couple of years ago Grin.
