141  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will bitcoin disappear in the future? on: April 09, 2018, 09:38:54 AM
Nah, there's no end for a brainchild that came from an amazing visionary who sought to end trust issues in digital currency. We are already witnessing the next level of technology with scalability problems being sidelined and also Lightning Network bringing an end to 'the crowded memory pool' and 'unreasonably high fee' worries.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: April 09, 2018, 09:24:55 AM
Match 4 : SRH vs RR,big game though.

I will go on the side of SRH because thet have some firs powers like Yusuf Pathan,Manish Pandey and Shikar Dhawan at the top,but the RR team is like missing those fire powers and experienced members.

On paper, the SRH team looks like a solidly balanced lineup with a lot of firepower in the batting department. Yet, you can never count RR out as they always have been known to have that element of surprise especially when the teams are pretty new and we are yet to see who will come into form in both batting and bowling departments.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we enter this Cryptocurrency world early or late? on: April 09, 2018, 08:43:04 AM
There are so many new projects coming up on a daily basis which have the hidden potential to reach big numbers within months or years. The notion of being too early or late should never cross anyone's mind as the market is always open to witnessing new tokens going crazy on the charts, making pre-sale and early investors potentially millionaires in no time.

144  Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital? on: April 09, 2018, 07:55:29 AM
What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?

A big idea is always the most basic foundation for any sort of project to gain success and all the funding will arrive when the idea is shown to be unique to the world of investors. Just take the example of FileCoin which began with a wonderful idea of cloud storage and look at how much they grossed across all of their token sales.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell ethereum or hold ? on: April 09, 2018, 07:10:11 AM
Please give help me by giving your opinions.

You should realise for yourself that Ethereum went as high as four figures just a few months back before the markets began dropping hard. It is just a matter of time before it bounces back and gets back on track towards glory (>1k$). Holding onto ETH would be my go to choice in this scenario as I don't see BTC outgrowing the former.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO will survive in 2020? on: April 09, 2018, 02:16:10 AM
Very unlikely that we'll be seeing ICOs in 2020 as there will be projects based on anything and everything while there won't be any ideas left. Seeing private pre-sales attracting a lot of big investors, the failure of that project will see them never coming back to invest in cryptos and the numbers will keep going down. Ultimately, it depends on the idea and how they attract investors with planned returns to sustain the future of fund raising through ICO.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: No need to panic sell after the Ban by RBI on: April 08, 2018, 06:33:51 PM
Highly questionable move by the RBI to completely disallow crypto trading as exchanges in the country will be the ones taking the biggest hit. There will surely be some sort of allowance with petitions across various platforms pressurising the governing body. Just a matter of time before it eventually happens and normalcy is retained.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin Have The Best Team? on: April 08, 2018, 10:26:43 AM
Bitcoin by far had the greatest mind behind it, the sole visionary who gave birth to blockchain and his contributions are just nothing short of noble prizes worthy work. Yes indeed he was backed up by an amazing team of people who stayed with him in spite of all the ups and downs.
Then, even Ethereum has a solid founder in Vitalik Buterin and an equally brilliant team behind him who took it to new heights.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Resource based economy? on: April 08, 2018, 10:12:53 AM
What exactly are you trying to outline here? A physical resource based economy is already evident and in use in many parts of the world. Coming down to cryptocurrencies, the blockchain could be considered the main resource, fuelling the working of the system.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fall of crypto is near on: April 08, 2018, 09:43:01 AM
I am in immense pain to say that i foresee the fall. I would not be surprised if we lose from this point to 50-60 percent.
Accirding to my knowledge institutional investors are bidding out from crypto and stocks.
Stocks has already dwindling now and same will comeback to crypto.
I know some will say it is a fud but friends i am not joking. You are free to not  to buy my thoughts.
Hope i will save someone.
Thank you.
Price today: 7930 usd per bitcoin.

A good thousand dollar below the price you've mentioned and yet the market is looking green over the last few days even for the past week. Might be demoralising with respect to current prices but the crypto market looks to be on the verge of making a comeback very soon. A bullish run is always on the cards after almost three odd months of complete draught.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does China have an unfriendly policy on cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin? on: April 08, 2018, 06:26:28 AM
Why does China have an unfriendly policy on cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin? Will the future change?

What do you expect from a sternly communist nation whose economic interests are aligned to benefit only themselves and nobody else? China has always tried to establish dominance over cryptocurrencies by making regulations on trade and resorting to ban exchanges which operated on its soil.
The future also looks grim with nothing positive coming up, with harder rules and regulations being imposed.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fund raising through an ICO on: April 08, 2018, 05:20:41 AM
Indeed, any company can just start off an ICO rather than coming from a start up but most of them would just resort to stock issuance as it would be a better overall outreach. For most of the part, ICOs are always linked up with start ups as they need funding for the development of their project and it is much easier to raise funds through it rather than by other means.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you track ico's ? on: April 08, 2018, 04:14:55 AM
I know ico review sites but they do not contain all of the icos.

ICO review sites are basically just another source of providing the hype factors for new projects without looking at its depths and potential. Don't ever make your choice based on the reviews provided by them, rather stick to your own instincts of whether to invest or not.
Just look around in the altcoin ANN section as you will find loads of new projects coming up on a daily basis but make sure to be very selective while investing.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee said about Ethereum on: April 02, 2018, 04:06:44 PM
What factors do you think might allow such speculation to occur?

The sheer fact that Ethereum provides a user friendly smart contract development environment which is much more than just a peer-to-peer currency makes it all the more appealing for the future generation of cryptos. This is surely one of the major reasons why Ethereum has an edge over Bitcoin in the longer run and holds the potential to take over as the number one.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash on: April 02, 2018, 03:32:42 PM
To me it seems Bitcoin was always going to come out on top of that battle

It was always Bitcoin's battle to win as Bitcoin Cash and other fork pushers were literally caught red handed flooding the memory pool with thousands of transactions. Calling out scalability and fee issues while being the main reason for the latter themselves, they turned out to be nothing less than criminals.

so why did those whales pushing for the fork really do it and create Bitcoin Cash?

Isn't it quite obvious at this point? Free money for the whales, receiving 1:1 at the time of the hard fork and selling it for thousands later on. It would always be a win-win situation for the whales, going hand in hand with the Bitcoin Cash team.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thomas Glucksman: Bitcoin could reach 50k$ by December of 2018! on: April 02, 2018, 02:32:45 PM
-snip-

Honestly, I've had enough of these *insert big name here* trying to foresee the price of Bitcoin. There isn't a prediction market going on around here so they can stop giving out predictions like this already.
With that said, everything is possible with the price of Bitcoin. Right now we're close to 7k and could reach as high as 25k just on a bullish April run while more impositions through the G20 summit could see the prices plummet once again.

It may sound bad to you sir but it is one way of uplifting the spirit of those who are into the bitcoin industry. In the face of those negative news on bitcoin that is flooding the market it is of need to also post the positive comments coming from big people. This may uplift the spirit of bitcoin holders who suffered huge losses due to the price drop. Those words of Thomas may be bullish but it can give hope to some bitcoin holders.

This isn't about sounding good or bad but what I'm trying to say is that in this world of decentralisation, individuals should be highly decisive with what they wish to do and should not be brought under a delusion by these so called 'big people'.
What if all of these big people that you refer to, collaborate together and go on an all out attack on cryptos, denouncing it to be a fraud and a bubble? Would you still take their negative stance into consideration and sell all your holdings?
157  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin global regulation on: April 02, 2018, 02:10:15 PM
-snip-

As in, it is definitely impossible to impose a global 'one for all' set of regulations on Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general. While each country preps up to take its own stance against this, there is literally no sign of a united decision anywhere. Ultimately, it is left to hands of the concerned governments to do what they think is necessary for the country rather than entertaining something which could hinder the economy.
158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thomas Lee Tells Investors to HODL on During Bitcoin Slumps on: April 02, 2018, 01:29:40 PM
-snip-

I heartily thank Mr.Thomas Lee for such wonderful words, as nobody has ever done that in the history of cryptocurrency trading/s

Sarcasm aside, hasn't HODLing been the preaching of the town for a couple of years now? What's the point of repeating it just to listen it out from someone else's mouth? I seriously do not understand why there are so many big names trying to be predictors while it is still totally uncalled for. Investors have stayed here long enough to understand what exactly they're supposed to do while newbies are getting quick enough to grasp trends and make the decisions by themselves.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: April 02, 2018, 01:05:10 PM
Do you think the market will stay green or turn red?

It not an easy call

Indeed a very hard call to make here as the market has been in a slump for over a good few months now. Fresh greenery could mean a turnaround but can't be sure till how long it might last. The only good thing I can see right now is that the 24 hour swing is looking favourable while the last couple of hours denote a small decline once again. For the greater good, let's hope the market rides the tide and comes out of the slump.
160  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Newegg (Canada) accepting Bitcoin on: April 02, 2018, 12:51:51 PM
First step in the right direction for a website that is trusted by millions for their CPU builds and peripherals. Also, looks like a small bit of promotion for mining since paying in Bitcoin becomes an option, while I'm here, eagerly waiting for their global store to follow suite. Let's hope they don't take much time for that since they have a running version on the Canadian store.
