You can disagree I'm letting you know our issue doesn't affect you clearly so doubting what we're saying isn't helping.

The only other thing I just noticed is under old address my  current deposit address Is listed there too now [the old one it rolled back to which is working]]. Before hand it I don't believe it was. Does the new address also appear under old addresses deposit list ?

I'm not disagreeing with you that you (and the other two members) are experiencing issues. I'm simply pointing out that, despite your claims, the problem doesn't necessarily originate from FreeBitcoin. As you can see, the "problem" doesn't seem to be affecting everyone, and I can attest to that.  Whether you find this information useful is entirely up to you. However, until we get more information and hear their side of the story, we cannot definitively conclude that it's their fault. We can't exclude the possibility that something else is causing the issue.

Yes, the newly generated addresses are also listed in the OLD DEPOSIT ADDRESSES list. I think it's always been that way.

Maybe it is related to some other criteria, for example location, or maybe it is per-user setting.  I would suspect it is only for those users that had previously had received this notification (you mentioned that you didn't get this notification).  Please check this on the other thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg63874969#msg63874969) how the image looked like, this user had same issue as me, and he had taken a screenshot (https://imgbb.host/images/MAU2u.png).  The popup of DEPOSIT BITCOINS is hiding most of the message, but there is one small part of the third notification which was the message related to the address changes.

Yes, I saw that screenshot. I noticed that the QR code of the generated address is missing. That in itself is suspicious. Also, pay attention to other users' responses below that post. None of them have seen such a notification and some other members are also skeptical about the legitimacy of the notification.

I have not seen this message anywhere on the site, their social media, or marketing emails. On my account I can only generate legacy addresses for deposits. I am skeptical about this being a genuine message you received. If you can show a screenshot of this message it might be useful in determining its legitimacy.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going all in and losing the bet on: April 06, 2024, 06:05:03 PM
Greed takes root in our mind when we gamble and win money once, then greed takes root in our mind that we will win money a second time. It can be seen that we are full of greed and lose twice as much money by betting. Many times our luck doesn't favor us and we lose double money due to not favoring us so we should control our greed so that we don't waste our money. But gambling is not right for anyone who is totally addicted to gambling or they can play confidence by playing they may earn money by gambling but it is seen that they are losing money from the amount of money they are making. However, this kind of addictive gambling is not right for anyone, if gambling becomes an addiction, the society does nothing but harm itself, so everyone should refrain from this kind of gambling, by doing this, the society will be good .
When a person is addicted to gambling, that person, (not the society as you put it) harm him or herself.
In the past, alot of gambling addicted have ended up killing themselves by commiting suicide, their carcas get buried by the society and the society moves on like nothing happened. And going into the future, this will also continue, gamblers who allow themselves to get so addicted to the extent they can't bear to continue to live, will eventually end up destroying themselves and not the society, it is often said that the land have been here before humans came, and the land will continue to be even after humans are gone.

So, in essence, our gambling decisions is to ourselves and ourselves alone, our families can only be affected but for a while, and this actually does not affect the society in general in any way aside the fact that they may lose one person, so, it is our responsibility to watch and look after ourselves and our gambling activities, gamble only as much as you can be able to bear in times of loses, this is what is called gambling responsibility.

Yeah, gambling addiction may initially seem like an individual's personal struggle, but its impacts spread much further.  While one person battles the addiction, their loved ones shoulder burdens too.  Financial woes, strained relationships, even domestic violence can result when desperation sets in.  And when gamblers exhaust legal means of funding their addiction, some turn to theft, fraud, or worse.  Now the ripples reach entire communities threatening safety and security and  additionally, the health effects of problem gambling - depression, anxiety, even physical illness due to stress - tax medical systems.  Resources redirected to addiction treatment could have aided those facing health challenges through no fault of their own.  So while gambling addiction manifests on a personal level its tendrils creep outward to affect families, neighborhoods, and systems meant to serve wider society.  A solitary fight becomes a societal concern
143  Economy / Reputation / Re: If you were a campaign manager would you select these members for campaigns? on: April 06, 2024, 01:26:41 PM
No, I would never personally hire such a member for my campaign.  Unfortunately, some campaign managers have such low standards and prioritize quantity over quality.  Stake's manager is one example of this, as evidenced by the "borovichok" case.  Despite multiple warnings, he was only removed after a strong backlash from the community and negative publicity.

Regarding new deposit address, i tried both in the browser and on the mobile app, nothing happens when i click on the "new deposit address" button, so it is not an issue with my browser, it is just the FBC's application (I guess they have disabled the generate new address function).

I have to disagree with this as I have just successfully generated a new deposit address in my freebitco.in account.  I'm still not sure what the issue is that you guys are facing, but none of the above was reflected in my experience using the FreeBitcoin site in recent days.
145  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 06, 2024, 12:06:58 PM
Yes, I would say that the notification was from legitimate freebitco.in site, all of my amounts were according to the actual status, the multiply rolls were increasing and decreasing as normal, and the site was refreshed every 1 hour as is normally doing when the timer expires. Everything seemed very legitimate, with the note that this message was there for several days (I would say around 3 or 4 days) and it seemed like the site is legitimate, also, i had the same message also on my mobile app.
I checked in my history stats, my the last deposit and withdrawal to the old address was on 31st March.  after that I guess on 1st or 2nd of April was received the notification, and several hours after my unsuccessful deposit to the new P2SH address, the notification was removed and the old address is now showing again.

That's so strange and I don't know why FreeBitco.in would do such a thing. I'm not saying you're not telling the truth, but it seems like something else could be at stake here. You mentioned the notification looked genuine, everything seemed to function normally, and it even appeared on your mobile app. And the notification vanished after your unsuccessful deposit attempt to the new P2SH address, and the old address reappeared. That timing is awfully suspicious and that's concerning if it was a fake.

Also, there don't seem to be any other reports from other users, except for you two.

As I said before, I was active on the site at that time and did not see any notification and my FreeBitco.in deposit address did not change during that period. Only when I requested a new deposit address, the system generated a new address, but it is still a legacy address, and all old, previously generated deposit addresses should work as before.

I appreciate the commentary but there is nothing else at stake here, the btc has gone to freebitco.ins wallets and is following a similar pattern when consolidating. Here is the other user that was mentioning the same issue https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319540.msg63874969#msg63874969

A simple google or forum search could have found. That quire easy.

I've been using the site daily for a while I only access it from a direct link. No where else or an email when I do a free spin which I could tell if it wasn't my account as my referrals wouldn't add up, my facet amount would be wrong or even my reward points which I use daily wouldn't be right.

I'm unable to generate a deposit address myself now if I click new one at present. I've deposited successfully onto my old address after the new one didn't work to test it.

While i understand your trying to help its not actually helping as it is almost dismissing our issues here which might put the priority on it lower, there's 3 users here in this forum affected that means there's more than just us.

Anyway I'll away for this to be fixed, I just hope it's not 8 months....

I understand what you're saying but that still doesn't rule out the possibility that your computers are infected with malware or something similar. I repeat, FreeBitcoin.in has never used P2SH addresses for deposits as far as I know and I have never seen any notification in my account or reports of such a thing from any reputable member.

You say that you are unable to generate a new deposit address in your freebitco.in account - Do you know why is that? Have you tried accessing the site from another browser or another computer? Maybe you have some browser extensions or scripts that are messing things up.

146  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Explore the best bep20 wallets for your tokens on: April 06, 2024, 10:35:26 AM
I am not familiar with math wallet but do people really use it? It is the first time that I have read someone mentioned and suggested about them. If someone cannot afford an hardware wallet which also supports a lot of bep20 tokens not just the nano wallet and probably you're suggesting the latest of it which is the nano ledger s+, metamask is already enough. You get the wallet for erc20, bsc and even the other networks that are also available on it.

I think MathWallet is quite popular specifically because of the support for a large number of altcoins. But, I would never recommend a wallet that isn't fully open-source, which applies to both MathWallet and TrustWallet.  I'm not sure if users have had any problems with it, but I remember reading some reports that Mathwallet was collecting too much personal information about wallets and users. So I wouldn't use it for anything important.
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Just another gambling addict story. on: April 06, 2024, 10:04:00 AM
This is a tough situation. Rehab can help start the healing process, but clearly there are deeper issues at play.  The brother-in-law's actions suggest a troubling pattern of impulsive behavior and lack of conscience.  Stealing from a child to feed an addiction crosses serious ethical lines.  Perhaps legal authorities or family interventions need to set firm boundaries, requiring restitution and accountability and  addiction treatment alone may not fully address this individual's capacity for harm, so additional measures seem warranted to wake him up and protect vulnerable potential victims.  Tough love and real consequences could motivate real change.
148  Other / Meta / Re: What is the policy regarding AI generated images on the forum? on: April 06, 2024, 09:25:34 AM
OP, unless you wanna be distrusted and ignored by so Many,  desist from AIs

This is an online forum platform, a place for open discussion and diverse viewpoints. Though some folks prefer stuff made a certain way, writing off AI images completely seems a bit harsh and  i doubt the OP would get ignored just for using some computer-made images now and then. Unless of course he overdoes it. But then again, you can do that with regular images and other content as well.

I recently ignored some clown who excessively used colored text in his posts. Obviously, it's not against the forum rules, but I find it childish and I don't want to go through threads that look like a circus show. That's my personal preference.
149  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Need mentorship on: April 06, 2024, 09:05:51 AM
My advice would be that mentoring isn't fully required to learn the technicals of Bitcoin, especially as a beginner.  The awesome thing about this rapidly developing technological space is that so much supportive learning material exists, freely accessible online - tutorials insightful blog articles, comprehensive video courses - deliberately created for us newbies.

I'd suggest focusing your initial energy on the basics: the backend blockchain mechanics, how essential cryptography functions, the step-by-step processes confirming transactions...  While developing working technical knowledge can feel overwhelming early on the key is taking things slow, absorbing piece-by-piece.  And, don't let unfamiliar concepts deter you from diving deeper through continued reading and research self-exploration.

because only through actively trying things out yourself, getting your hands metaphorically dirty by running tests and practical experiments do the abstract principles start feeling more concrete.  So once youve patiently built up enough baseline theoretical understanding, begin playing around - it's often in those moments of trial-and-error applied learning that everything clicks together.  And even when the complex technical discussions happening, don't hesitate participating to learn from other's perspectives; the community is welcoming of curious newcomers bringing fresh ideas and questions to the table.

(P.S.  in the past several days, there was a notification in freebitco.in site that the old BTC addresses shall no longer be used, and that new deposits should be made on the new P2SH addresses, so i had used this address for the deposit by clicking on the Deposit -> QR scan.  Unfortunately i did not make a screenshot of this, and now this notification is no longer there, and the deposit address has returned back to the previous one, so i feel that i have been scammed and my money has been stolen.   I really hope this is not the case)

Are the two of you absolutely sure that the notification came from a legitimate freebitco.in site and not from some phishing site? Or maybe your computer is infected with some kind of malware?

I have never seen such a notification on my account or in an email from FreeBitcoin and all the old deposit addresses still work, at least that's what it says on my account.

Your previously generated bitcoin addresses are listed below. Any deposits sent to these addresses will also be credited to your FreeBitco.in account after 1 confirmation.

And clicking "NEW DEPOSIT ADDRESS" still gives a legacy address starting with 1, not 3.

1. At what age will you allow your child to start gambling? that is if you will even allow for that at all?

I don't think gambling's a good thing for kids, no matter how old they are.  But I guess when he's old enough to decide for himself and has his own money to spend, itll be his call.  I wouldn't want to bankroll his betting, that's for sure.

Quote
2. At what age do you see yourself quit gambling? that is also if some of us are going to ever do so?

Probably never.

Quote
3. Ever since you have started gambling, have you ever achieve a satisfying level that makes you think it has good impact on you?

No. Don't get me wrong, a little game here and there, just for fun ain't an issue.  but if its real, sticking happiness you want, gambling likely won't cut it.

Quote
4. Would you have missed out on anything if you were not a gambler?

No. I can't think of anything. However, I'm not addicted to gambling.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: April 05, 2024, 07:41:15 PM
Whoa, let's take a step back for a minute.  Are we really saying it's the victim's fault if they get scammed? That would be like blaming someone who gets jumped in a dark alley for walking there in the first place.

Look, scammers can be super crafty and manipulative.  They always look for new ways to take advantage of people.  But we cant expect everyone to be experts on how to avoid being tricked and  sure, education helps. But the responsibility can't all be on the potential victim to outsmart every nasty scam out there.  We should be calling out the scammers, not blaming people who get fooled.
154  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Explore the best bep20 wallets for your tokens on: April 05, 2024, 07:31:12 PM
Here is the compiled list of top bep20 tokens that every investor needs to know.

You mean wallets, right?

Why did you only mention Ledger hardware wallet? Most hardware wallets that support altcoins also support BEP20 tokens. For example, SafePal and OneKey hardware wallets have native support for BEP20 in their apps. And probably many others as well.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Social Interaction. on: April 04, 2024, 09:56:56 PM
I believe the enlistment of the CHATAI token on top tier exchanges is a positive development
<...>

Bitget is the only "top tier" exchange that will list the ChatAI token as far as I can see. Are there any others you can point to besides a single exchange with a questionable reputation?

Let's be real, this sounds an awful lot like shilling a low-volume token with fancy buzzwords.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos (2) on: April 04, 2024, 09:30:20 PM
I don't care much for casino games run through Telegram bots.  Sure, Telegram has some privacy features, but that can also provide cover for shady stuff.  You can never fully know who you're interacting with on there.  Maybe some platforms are legit, but you risk running into rigged games or outright scams too.

I'd rather stick to reputable gambling sites I can trust and  more hassle perhaps, but worth it for peace of mind and confidence Im getting a fair game.
157  Economy / Gambling / Re: House Edge on: April 03, 2024, 10:09:14 PM
The house edges at Stake and BCH.games are different because of how their games work, specifically the payout multipliers when you win.  Let me explain with dice as an example.

Stake's dice game lets you double your money if you roll over 50.50.  That leaves a narrower range of losing rolls, so your odds of winning are 49.50%.

BCH. games makes it tougher - you might have to roll over 50.99 to double your money.  Lower odds for you means a higher house edge.

It's subtle, but those little tweaks in the game mechanics shift the math in favor of the casino more at BCH.games.  So over time, across lots of bets, it works out to a 1% house edge for Stake and 2% at BCH.

How does this variation in house edge impact other games like Mines, Tower, and Crash? Are the dynamics similar, or is there another mechanism at play influencing the difference in house edge between the two platforms?

Yes, it's similar for other games as well.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Land Based Casinos in the Digital Age on: April 03, 2024, 09:43:47 PM
Online gambling's never going to fully replace traditional casinos.  Vegas thrives on sensory overload - the lights, the sounds, the excitement.  Can't replicate that rush on a phone screen.  But more and more folks do prefer mobile betting.

So, old-school casinos must up their game.  Draw in younger crowds make it an event, not just gambling.  Give people memorable nights they'll wanna re-live again.  Casinos have history on their side.  Leverage nostalgia and really play that up.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: April 03, 2024, 08:25:37 PM
Never gamble when you’re are hungry

Slots taste better if you’re not thinking about pizza
Lol, they say you can do nothing with complete focus when you have an empty stomach, whether you are working, studying, or gambling. Your focus will be diverted toward your hunger and you won't be able to complete what you are trying to do effectively even if you do it by force. So when it comes to gambling, it's no exception, you can't have complete focus on your bets and the games you are playing if you are starving.

Besides, if someone is gambling for fun and not for the duh, they can have a great little time gambling sitting on a comfy couch while having some snacks around with a diet coke as a complimentary item. Click the spin button once, take a bite of the snack and a sip from the coke, what can be better than that? Wink
It may sound as something hilarious but it is the truth, there are people that cannot manage being hungry at all and get into a terrible mood if that happens, and that can be very dangerous when a person is an environment in which they can take all kind of reckless decisions if they are not careful, so people should only gamble when they feel they can manage the pressure that gambling for fun can throw at them, which is no small by any means.

Yeah, it's not hilarious at all. Hunger pangs totally throw off my concentration and put me in a crappy mood.  And mixing an empty stomach with gambling is just asking for trouble and  at least for me (maybe for you too?), trying to gamble when I'm starved leads me to make some stupid calls.  I get impatient, start trying to win back losses out of desperation, and just fail to think stuff through rationally. So, to keep gambling fun and not let it get outta hand I need a full belly and clear head.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 03, 2024, 07:19:54 PM
Trying to predict Bitcoin's price movements is kinda like playing the lottery  Wink

The halving moment coming up seems like it could send Bitcoin over $75k based on past patterns. 10k needed to get there is nothing. So I voted - Yes. But ultimately, it's anyone's guess.  I'll say Bitcoin hitting $100k by the end of 2024 wouldnt shock me.  Though with Bitcoin (and crypto in general) not much does anymore!
