141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beyond Wagering on: April 25, 2024, 08:47:16 PM
When you talk about gamblers perception towards games and what they feel about them when not gambling or not directly involved,  then you have to pick gambling like sport bets because since most games in sport bet doesn't require gambler participation so it easy to become a fan of the team of players that are playing the games without being involved.

E.g, those that bet of sport,  and have being fans of football games will easily watch the match without betting on them.

143  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria board sprint on: April 25, 2024, 05:47:03 PM

Which are the most used exchanges in Nigeria,  to buy bitcoin?
Thanks.
Well right now with the current situation of things, the Nigeria cryptocurrency space is gradually sliding into full time p2p, since the possibility of the government to further climb down  on cryptocurrency exchange in the country is high, but right now we still have all the active centralized exchanges that used to operate except for Binance that have halt their p2p services.

Okex
Kucoin
Bybits
Remitano
Luno
Etc

Do let me know if you need further existence on the price of Bitcoin on the above mentioned exchange in naira,  if needed for your feedbacks.

In addition that we have several p2p platforms and sites and even physical deals, but you have to bear risks associated I you decide to go that way as a bitcoin buyer or seller.
144  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria’s central bank forced to deny claims of crypto account freeze on: April 25, 2024, 05:37:05 PM
First of all when it comes to issues with cryptocurrency CBN os always carful reasons being that, their don't want their incompetency to be exposed through attempt to attack cryptocurrency in Nigeria,  so best thing still their just play a deaf ear to it whenever cryptocurrency oz mentioned.

Secondly,  don't read social media news, ever since I stopped their notifications on my device,  I become more peaceful,  because blogs and social media posts are almost 100% fake news and all attempt to raise unnecessary attention to their blogs and websites,  so alot of fake news.

Is either you follow the official handle of the various government agencies to get updates directly or watch news this are the two ways to get real and authentic news this days.

I use to ask myself how Nigerian got to this level, that fake news can cyculate easily,  but then, we have to be sincere with ourselves,  Bitcoin, Gold and other assets are not attacked but only USDT that is the main target of the sec, this events is giving us alot of reasons to do more reseaand discus alot of thing as regards to cryptocurrency a d the current events in the Nigeria financial sectors.

146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does your Sig-Camp Manager counts gambling posts that moved to off topic on: April 23, 2024, 10:11:59 PM
Most campaign managers don't count off topic posts and if you make any comments on a post and it get moved to the off topic board it means that comments have become invalid for payment,  unless some campaign that pays spammers such as when 1xbit campaign was around they pay basically everything since they aim was to spam the forum.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does the game of luck in gambling really works? on: April 23, 2024, 04:22:24 PM
When we say luck in gambling what it means is that in gambling is either you win or you lose regardless of your skills and expertise in playing the game, so since it very hard to win agios the house,  whenever a gambler make that winning he will attribute it to luck.

Luck per say is not skills but just an unexpected and uninflunced winning.

149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they on: April 22, 2024, 08:22:10 PM
The biggest mistakes I have noticed in beginners is the thought that gambling is a get rich quick schemes and taking the third party route as in getting bets that are called sure odds to bet on hoping to win big jackpot with those sure  perceived sure odds.

Gambling is based on luck and nothing more and there is no sure game any where so beginners should stop having the thought that their can lay hold of a sure bet that make them win.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 21, 2024, 09:31:12 PM
and because of that i don't use bitcoin for my gambling because the fees are unreasonable at some times. even to make a transaction right now it costs 15 usd, it's just quite unreasonable. and because it is better to choose another payment method that is more reasonable than bitcoin, usually casinos provide alternatives that gamblers can use if they find it difficult to use bitcoin as their payment, and usdt is usually the best choice.
Multiple payments methods I'd one of the features of contemporary casino's because what most gamblers look put for is how to fine the best alternative to whatever is giving them issue's  such as payment system and if at any time bitcoin fees become unbearable like the current situation then you can switch to alternative currency that have less fees.

USDT is one of the most used currency due to the low fees and foster transactions on the stable coin network.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Impact of Social Media in Gambling. on: April 21, 2024, 08:43:31 PM
A lot of social media influencers especially bloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their blogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed? I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their blogs or videos?
Most times when I see content creator's and influencer placing the advert of casinos on the videos i allays ask myself one civic question which is how sure this influencer are about the casinos before the advertise them on they platforms.

Although the casino pay them handsomely for those brand promotions,  but the problem is how those casinos treat the fans of the influence after they registered use they code and staked some amount.
152  Economy / Services / Re: I will help you withdraw your money from bc.game on: April 21, 2024, 08:19:08 PM
This can result into potential scam and taking o er of your bc.game account because contacting the ops will lead you to disclosing your account log in details and that is a risk that will be higher than that of the bc.game team withholding your withdrawal.

I advice none should take this guy seriously and if you have any issues with the casino you can contact the support or make a proper scam accusations against them if the case is obvious abuse of your right.
153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You will lose more if you DCA without knowledge on: April 20, 2024, 11:07:08 PM
The ops may have misconceptions about what DCA mean and how to apply it, but from what I can understand from his statement what he is referring to as DCA is, buying the Dip and selling the top, although he will be using dollar to execute such trades but even at that we still have to understand the real terms behind DCA and how best we can apply it to better our overall experience.

Secondly also i suggests that the ops should spend sometime more in studying and learning newthings about what is DCA and how it works so that he can have a better informed background knowledge of the subject matters before writing a concept as he presented.

They are never going to answer you and their don't even have any active representatives here,so I suggest you just move on regardless of how painful it is.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: April 20, 2024, 08:40:56 PM
It is not always easy to sell and buy back that way. You can easily sell when there is big profits and leave the money in stable coins or fiat but the challenge is buying back because the entry point will become very confusing. During the recent retracement, many people were waiting for price around $50,000 as they thought it will go that low. Most of those people did not get their orders filled because price did not reach the area they have the buy orders and if price continues to rice higher as a result of the recent bitcoin halving, they will miss the entire gains they would have made because they sold so early. Buying low to sell high is better is it is planned across market cycle and not in a short time when price has already taken off.

I agree with you on the difficulty of buying back when you sell at profits, s9me time if you are not carful you may end up losing all the profits that you already accumulated from selling at the top.

Other hard aspect of that is when you buy back and the market slid back further,  that point you lose more and more until you possibly lose all the earlier gained profits, so in general it very hard to apply that approach most especially for newbies.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: April 20, 2024, 08:05:49 PM

Last update of info:  Whales shake off Market the actual base level is 66-67k for btc but whales like to take it down and then it up and and again down just to play with it and confuse traders.
But If btc price 60k-70k price range it's good price to buy

Bitcoin at 60k to 70k is still really a high price to consider bitcoin as low price since that price is still very high, although if those that sold bitcoin at 75k or above can buy back at current price then I can say that they really buy at a good price,  but anything above 70k os already on high price to those that sold at the last all time high price.

Bitcoin have shown alot of price volitilities lately since the last all time high, and for low knowledge newbies, holding they bitcoin and do less trading will put them at a secured advantage waiting for the next  all time high before trading it.
157  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: April 20, 2024, 07:20:25 PM
The reason why I'm not addicted to gambling is because even before I started to play gambling I already understand gambling and its addiction, and my understanding has helped me on how to follow up gambling. Sometimes I ask myself why do people get addicted to gambling, is it because they have no understanding or awareness about the addiction of gamble.
Yes same as me, I already understand gambling and addiction, and because of that I just think gambling is just a game, I don't really focus gambling as a job to get much money, So that situation I can managed my money to not over bet and just play a few of my money. I really think people who get addiction always assume gambling can double his capital so he bet all the money and lost. With that situation he became more and more curious to deposit too much money until it's all gone. This is not about warning issue from the site, but about psychological the player's self, I often read the website always note that gambling can make you addiction, but it's still make the addictive because the player mind is broken.
When we have a good understanding of gambling and addiction, of course we will be able to easily control our desire to gamble and we can limit the money we spend on gambling so that we don't spend a lot of money on gambling, those who think they can double their money in gambling bets of course Of course these people are the type of people who are lazy to work and they only think of shortcuts but they don't realize that in the bets we place it is very difficult to win so we lose the money we use for gambling and those who don't control themselves in gambling of course Of course they will experience more losses in the gambling they play.
Addiction have become a topping topic in various discussion segment since many gamblers have blamed their bad outcome on the Addiction control over their dealings that have affected their physical characteristics and overall well being,  most of those that have recorded a significant loses or have slided into debts all blame it on addictions and as a matter of fact, many have sounded as if addictions can be 100% uncontrollable.

But in the right sense,  anyone can control they addictions control and the easiest way it to gamble with a limited amount of money.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Casino Game Has the Best Odds? on: April 19, 2024, 11:18:06 PM
The best games that suit thos discreption is in house games where the player will have to apply some level of skills to the game, and also if their display good odds that can be seen as a good point to pick from.

Just as some comments mention blackjack and other casinos games as the best option in scenario it will also be important to not the possibility of having a good choice with other games aside blackjack to fit into this discreption.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of our meme character? on: April 19, 2024, 05:29:41 PM
Nice coin logo, bit then what else is to this project because just a memecoin character as mentioned in the ops will definitely drive readers thoughts towards the behaviour and establishment of the coin and what product their support.

Any ways we will be looking out for more information that can help our understanding better as regards to this project.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: buying bitcoin with a creditcard on: April 18, 2024, 10:46:14 PM
You may have to trade the rout of centralized exchange if you want to use credit cards to purchase bitcoin,  also you have to make sure if your country law supports the use of credit cards to buy bitcoin.

Lastly my advice is, you should just use p2p to buy the bitcoin instead of going through the hustle of using a credit card which will subject you to going thru with some regulation troubles and control.
