145  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTS Google Glass Developer Invite to Purchase Glass Explorer Edition for BTC/QRK on: December 13, 2013, 12:53:38 AM
I am looking to sell my Google Glass Developer Invite Code to purchase the Explorer Edition of Glass for $1,500 USD this is just the invite to be able to purchase which is a good price considering they go for $2,500+ on Ebay. I am looking to sell it for a small 0.2 BTC or 1000 QRK, Let me know! I will also accept 4000 ZET. Please send me a PM for details!
I'd give mine out if I hadn't already done so.  I wouldn't recommend buying from this guy; if you signup for an invite you will probably get one in a week.
146  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 7x Jalapeno plus 1 DOA jalepeno on: December 13, 2013, 12:37:56 AM
I'll buy the DOA Jalapeņo for 0.02 BTC (about $20).  TBH, it's more than it's worth, since it's pretty much a paperweight.

Feel free to make a counteroffer.

I got offered 0.20BTC for it by someone else.
Yeah, right.

150  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Inside Bitcoins on: December 11, 2013, 01:16:33 AM
Looks like about 600 in attendance here at Inside BItcoins. I'm the guy wearing the pink tutu because I'm TMIBTCITW and, moreover, bringing awareness to The Tutu Project, of which has yet to accept Bitcoin donations but, hopefully, by my action here at Inside Bitcoins, that'll change, whereupon they'll receive a $1,000 USD via bitcoins endowment from Bitcoin 100.
I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE TUTU!  I was too polite to say anything; I went up to my room for this speaker, but I'll be back down in 30 minutes or so.
151  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: FOIPA Request to the FBI Processing on: December 11, 2013, 01:15:36 AM
OP, got an update?  I checked the linked status page and it says they are still processing.  I understand they are supposed to respond by a deadline, and surely it has passed by now!
They missed it.  I've mailed 2 letters asking them on the status with no response.  I even put a tracking sticker on one of them and it DID get there alright.

152  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Inside Bitcoins on: December 10, 2013, 07:15:59 AM
We were late in leaving town.  Got up early and got 50 orders shipped out before we left.  Feel bad leaving with so many orders still to do...

Checked in at the MGM  (they put us on the 12 floor too...way at the end of the hallway.

I just got here too!  9th floor.

Bees Brothers: Lessons from Young Bitcoin Entrepreneurs

The sign you requested is in tow, Bees.

Whatever you people do, don't call Mediabistro's phone number. They have a bad habit of answering on the first ring, then a live person handles all your concerns in an appropriate manner. Terrible business model if you ask me.  Roll Eyes

Heh.  That's the first company in the Bitcoin world that I've ever heard that about.

(I might be a little biased because of the student discount I got Cheesy)
157  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS Magic The Gathering circa 1997 - .25 BTC on: December 08, 2013, 02:28:54 AM
I bought these cards and used escrow with SaltySpitoon. I got them and seems legit so far. I will let you know if I find anything good! Thanks!
Anything good?  If you happen to see a card called "Black Lotus," I'll give you... say... 0.5 BTC for it.
158  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid weekly for your signature on: December 07, 2013, 05:55:56 PM
Here we go, following the advice above I decided to just update the original post. It makes sense to as theres an option to change the topic title too. As per the updated original post:

*edit* 7th December 2013 - The signature promotion is now changing! See this post. The biggest of the changes is that instead of being weekly, I'm now paying out on a monthly basis.

Here are the new monthly salaries for helping us promote btc.sx:

Posts
100 - 250: US $7
251 - 500: US $9
501 - 750: US $13
750 - 1000: US $18
1001 - 2000: US $22
2000+: US $25

New Terms
  • Payouts will be made in BTC on the 1st of every month on that morning's open price.
  • 50 posts a month for full payout. 30 posts a month for 1/2 payout. 15 posts a month for 1/4 payout.
  • No troll posts.
  • Multiple paid signatures are not allowed.

This signature program is limited to 30 members (we are at that limit already). If you are still keen on joining, look out for misconduct or abuse (or a missing signature) from existing members, report it to me and you can replace them.

As I stated before, this program is closed to new participants with the following members remaining eligible:

That's good!  All I need to do is get to 2k...
159  Economy / Goods / Re: Airline miles/flights for BTC on: December 07, 2013, 03:46:29 PM
I have an overabundance of airline miles in several different programs - United, American, British Airways, etc.
If you are looking for a one-way or round-trip flight, let me see if I can book it with miles/points before you pay full retail price for it.
Can you even book flights for other people like that?

When the new scheme starts?
I'd like to join.
Seal is working on it and hope its would be came in next few days many waiting for this to join

Hey all, yeah sorry I'm suuuuper busy these days as we navigate our Seed / Series A round of funding for the startup. A very exciting time for all of us involved.

Terms of the new scheme will be similar to the current scheme but monthly which will make it easier for me to manage.

The new scheme will have already started 1st Dec so I'll count all of your posts to date and make the first payment on 1st (or maybe 2nd given that its new year) of Jan. I'll be posting the details up soon.

I think I posted this before but I'll post it again, all existing members will immediately be eligible for the new scheme, just keep doing what you are doing. There will be no new members accepted. Sorry for those who want to join, maybe in the future.

Will you create a new topic in the services section?
Why not just edit this one?
