I'm confused on what you mean by "software installs."

This is really nice!

Get more bang for your buck Cheesy

Few inquires, but no one has "pulled the trigger" yet!
That was horrible.  So horrible.
244  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Everything on: November 20, 2013, 11:29:20 AM
You spelled some of the book titles wrong, heh.

I don't think you're going to have much of an audience here for those books.
245  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: I will purchase used block erupters on: November 19, 2013, 11:17:26 PM
I sold 4 for $82 on an auction.  Started it at $50 or so.
246  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy#1] Avalon ASICs CHIPS! Using JohnK as escrow! FINISHED! on: November 19, 2013, 11:16:44 PM
I sent a pm to john, ragingazn, prodigits.

Talked with prodigits7 a handful of times via skype and he's pretty upset with raging holding his funds. Basically, from what I can gather, Ragingazn won't send the funds til prodigits7 returns the chips and ragingazn gave the chips to prodigits for safekeeping. The fact it's because of the sample chips that raging won't refund is fairly weak in my opinion, but I proposed that after sending the chips, raging give prodigits funds back, and if he does not, to take them out of his share of this groupbuy. If raging can weigh in, I'd be happy to hear about it.
The problem is that those chips are the only collateral that prodigits has.  If he sends those back, then he gives up all of the leverage he has.

I don't recommend him sending it back.  Ragingazn has had a HORRIBLE track record so far.
247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: WTF Coinbase? on: November 19, 2013, 11:15:06 PM
Keep in mind that although you're seeing a lot of people talking about this, only the people that get screwed over post.  They get, what, thousands of orders a day?

There's like 1 a day at MOST that this happens to (it might be 2 or 3, before someone tries to argue this point).
248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why doesn't anyone use CampBX? on: November 19, 2013, 11:13:50 PM
I think they are easier to use than other exchanges I have tried. Fast, good prices, reasonable fees.  Huh
Of course they are KYC/AML compliant. It is not a good place for crooks.
They even let minors (<18) go through KYC, which is really nice (only exchange that lets you IIRC).
249  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: buying .05 btc name your price on: November 19, 2013, 11:12:06 PM
I am in desperate need of this, name your price.

How would you pay?

This.  What payment methods are you going to use?
Let me guess, paypal?
It's not a guess if you're sure of the result!
250  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase two-factor auth on: November 19, 2013, 11:10:05 PM
Try joining #coinbase on freenode IRC if you don't want to wait for the ticket.  I don't know if they monitor the forums.
251  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CampBX: Incompetence or Fraud?? on: November 19, 2013, 11:09:21 PM
AgeraS, you basically made every mistake that's possible and you're wondering why it's taking so long?  Seriously?

On a side note, how many CampBX threads are you planning on creating?
I'm pretty sure he did this on purpose.  He literally did EVERY THING WRONG.

What did he expect?  Seriously.
252  Economy / Currency exchange / [WTS] 0.25 BTC on: November 19, 2013, 11:03:57 PM
I would like to cash in mail (USA only) or ACH.

ACH has special requirements (ID + signed form).  Cash in mail requires insurance or you're liable for all losses.
253  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy#1] Avalon ASICs CHIPS! Using JohnK as escrow! FINISHED! on: November 19, 2013, 01:37:52 PM
I'm here to let all the group members and those of the KnCMiner's group buy know that I ragingazn628 is holding 11.6BTC that belongs me and refuses to give them back. He has kept all those shares that I personally refunded to people, all for himself, as well as the 8 shares (4BTC) which I originally put in. He has left me out of it entirely and has not informed any of the other group members of what he did to me or how he continues to pocket my share of the profits.

in total, he owes me 11.6BTC from the entire KnCMiners Group Buy situation which I went I stuck my neck out for him and defended him and was his apologist. I started refunding group buy members with my own bitcoins, only because Ragingazn628 assured me that he would reimburse me once the actual KncMiner refund came through. I would never have done it otherwise. When the refund finally came through, he turned his back on me and refused to return the BTC that I had handed out to people.

JohnK was a witness to all this because I made sure to include you and inform you every step of the way. He was sent PM, Skype and GChat messages by me and ragingazn628 together. Now ragin's trying to screw me by not paying me back. Others that can vouch for me are Noitev and glendall and the actual people that I personally refunded including , damiano, piecinitup, floatyfish, danieldaniel, jesse11. You will see some of these people post on here to back up my story.

You all saw how MUCH I went out of my way to help him when he was depressed and at his lowest point. Yes its true that he gave me the sample chips, which were never actually used, to help his NEO-ASICs business venture. He had asked me to build him Klondike-16 and Avalon clones so he could sell to people through his site. After he got the refund from KnCMiner, he shut down the site (for a second time) changed his avatar and completely ignored the entire business. I still have the chips and offered to send them back to him.

I'm hoping with all your help, that I can get some justice in this situation and get back the BTC that is owed to me by Ragingazn628.

In regard to ragingazn's personal refunds, I am still holding to that due to emails I have obtained from prodigits7. I will not post his email directly, but I ask that he show up in this thread to clarify his claims against ragingazn here.

Everyone else with an address should be refunded here, otherwise please PM me so that I can clear that up.

Just want to say that prodigits refunded me with his own BTC.  Ragin really should pay him back.
254  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Could A Legal "Tax Haven" Be Formed Through Cryptocurrencies? on: November 19, 2013, 11:45:28 AM
So you're essentially just creating a fund that always stays at $1 a piece.  Also: I'm pretty sure that there'd be a problem with the interest part of that.
255  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Could Namecoin be a solution if Bitcoin is regulated/banned? on: November 19, 2013, 11:42:23 AM
No.  In the US (and AFAIK everywhere in the world), Bitcoin isn't regulated by name.

That isn't what I meant. Namecoin could be regarded as a service - not a currency - as it is the only genuine way to access ".bit" domains without involving an intermediary. Acquiring Namecoins could be viewed this way as a kind of virtual "gift card" to purchase .bit domains or other "names".

Virtual gift cards are regulated.  Namecoins is a virtual currency.  It doesn't matter what you "call" it it matters how it is used.  If you can buys goods and services with it, you can exchange it for real currencies, it is used as a store of value then FinCEN views it as a virtual currency.  You can call it NotACurrencyCoin if you want that has absolutely no relevance.
This is what a lot of people fail to understand.  You can't just call it "worthless" and expect to not have any liability.
256  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Inside Bitcoins on: November 19, 2013, 11:35:18 AM
I really do want to go. I just need to plan ahead and see if I can take off those two days of work.
I don't really understand why they did it in the middle of the week, tbh.

I'll 3D print anything you make at cost.

if it were me:

Hero Member & 1500+ posts - .05 require 50 posts per week.
Senior Member & 1500+ posts - .04 require 50 posts per week.
Full member - .015 require 20 posts per week.
Jr member - .0075 require 14 posts per week.
$25 for 50 posts?  That's $0.50 for a post, which takes no effort whatsoever.

Seal is generous for even giving us this much, tbh.

Morning all, I'm currently in Singapore for our startup's seed funding round. I spoke at the Bitcoin Singapore Conference which saw a huge amount of interest from individuals, investors and press alike.

Payouts will come later today, the price increases are just crazy lately which is great for those who hopped on board early as long as you haven't sold out yet Smiley.

In terms of readjusting payouts, no matter what happens to the price (whether it jumps to $1000 tomorrow or down to $100 next week) I always intend to pay out the top tier around ~$5 usd per week for their signatures. I hope this clarifies the second guessing as I mentioned it before and want to remain as transparent about it as possible!
Have fun!
