Right.  What's this "import and export business"?  Do you have financials that prove we will make 30%?  How much have you made personally?  What do you need the loan for?

1023  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking to refinance debt 8/12/26/52 week amortization loans. on: May 09, 2013, 07:13:44 PM
Received another £500 loan from someone else over 6 months, I will keep this anon unless the lender wishes otherwise.
I have used this to repay the credit card and close it, and the monthly interest for <redacted> due on 22nd May.
I have updated the original thread to show my progress.
Still looking to refinance the rest can accept BTC indexed to the USD/£, UK Bank Transfer or Paypal for the loan.
Please pm me to discuss if you are interested.
You gave his name in the post, btw.

Also: I'll post in here once he pays!

1026  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders :: Get bitcoin loans, and earn interest on your deposits! on: May 09, 2013, 10:35:46 AM
I'm not sure I get this. I realise you're editing as I'm refreshing but a 7 day CD for 10% APR - why wouldn't I just leave the money out of a CD and get 25% on it? Also a 1% bonus for a lock-away isn't all that appealing I think (thats just my opinion though)
Because the min amount is 0.01. It's for people who have less than 1 bitcoin they want to deposit. I've removed the option because I don't think many people would be interested in it.

Currently, there's a 90 day 20% APR option, and that is if you're happy with 20% APR as the interest rate. The account interest rate could be changed to 18% APR or 8% APR without warning, but with a CD you lock it in. Tip: ask your local bank about their offerings.
20% APR CD.  I love it.  My bank gives me 0.95% APR.  Smiley

What's the minimum amount for that one?
1027  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Avalon ASIC chips on: May 08, 2013, 10:22:31 PM
0.81 BTC.  hugoooo: I will pay you .01 btc to not bid again!
1028  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Avalon ASIC chips on: May 08, 2013, 09:32:09 PM
Not sure if we will count the above, but I will bid 0.78 BTC anyways.

Any reason you didn't put down 0.15 more BTC and get 13 chips instead of 12.82?

*0.015 BTC, rather.

Bid is at 0.8 BTC.
I will bid more once I see you go offline!

u have the chips or u sell your pre-order ?

I am selling the pre-order/my place on the groupbuy.  Afaik nobody has the chips.

If you are looking to get into a group buy, this one is already ordered, so you'd expect a quicker receive of chips, has a good escrow etc.
I'll pay .77 if you sell it to me now.
1031  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Avalon ASIC chips on: May 07, 2013, 11:27:21 PM
.76 BTC for the 12.82

1033  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking to refinance debt 8/12/26/52 week amortization loans. on: May 07, 2013, 10:49:07 PM
My business is seasonal so has some exceptionally good months with some exceptionally quiet months but averaging a profit of at least $2000 per month and projected to rise month on month.
I run the business myself so there is no other staff to pay so the $2000 profit is essentially my wage, however I do reinvest some profits back into the business each month for it to continue to grow.
I would be willing to make a contract regarding the collateral, however I do not intend to default Smiley
I have never been late or missed a payment for any of my obligations currently and this actually SAVES me money in interests saved on higher apr debt, so if anything I have even more money available if some of this gets refinanced.
Again feel free to ask any questions / clarification
I wasn't implying that at all.

I'm probably going to invest some (1-2 BTC) once I buy some.  On the off chance that you accept PayPal or PopMoney for loans, I *could* do it now.  PM me if that's the case.  Otherwise, I'll let you know!
1034  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking to refinance debt 8/12/26/52 week amortization loans. on: May 07, 2013, 08:09:33 PM
May I ask why you took all of these loans in the first place?

(Yes, I am a potential investor.)

Of course you can ask, like I said I welcome any questions Smiley
The one from Burt started at a 40 BTC loan but when BTC was at $30 or so, due to the price explosion he agreed to lock it in at $120 when the price exploded well above $150.
This still meant paying back $4800 on a $1200 loan, but lesson learnt, will never borrow BTC unless it is indexed to fiat again.
The other loans (and the initial 40 BTC) for Burt were all taken for expansion of my business, credit is not easy to get for your own business unless you can show 3 years worth of books, which I do not have yet.
So the only credit available to me is at higher than 24,9% as outlined in the "why not seek traditional funding" above.
I am a good credit risk as I own collateral (the stock for my business) and should in the unlikely event it fail, I could liquidate that to repay all loans if necessary, however my business is profitable currently I just needed funds to start up the venture and to expand.

Hope this answers your question if you need me to clarify anything please let me know.
In additional I currently owe Burt now $1500 rather than $3200 so you can see I am paying off what I can when I can, just hoping to refinance some to lower APR.
Great transparency!  That made me think of two more questions:
  • How much does your business generate per month?  More specifically, is it enough to pay back this loan?
  • Would you be willing to make a contract stating that the stock in your business is collateral?

New to forums.  Check!

Offers no info about himself.  Check!

Sob story (bank account robbed).  Check!

Do.  Not.  Loan.

Even if you *do* get paid back, 50% for life is very likely to be 0. You might as well invest in a Prosper.com loan and get 9% APR return (for grade A loan).
1037  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyne managed to get a Trusted level account at MtGox? on: May 07, 2013, 02:02:33 PM
When you say verified - do you mean the 'Verified' level or the 'Trusted' level?

TBH I didn't realize there was a difference?

Verified as in - Provided Passport Photo ID & Utility Bill approved by Mt Gox

What is "Trusted" Level?

Trusted is notarized copy of ID with apostille and translation plus UtilityBill and some other stuff.  It is also described in very vague way - so you never know if you did all that is required, not to mention that somethings are impossible - like 'notarized translation' or adding 'notarized for MtGox verification' on the notarized copy of ID.
...Why are those impossible?  Many companies ask for notarized translations of foreign documents.
1038  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A Couple of Accounts on BtcChina Just Be Hacked & Dozens Coins Stolen on: May 07, 2013, 02:01:36 PM
Several users on BtcChina claimed today that their accounts were hacked by an online bad guy and their bitcoins were consequently withdrawn to the hacker's address other than their own. On the discussion board, the director of the exchange had confirmed the indident as true and said they would investigate into it shortly.
