We're not psychologists, so I would try not to "diagnose" him with disorders.  I think it's more likely that aethero (Ryan) posted this, and his wife saw it and deleted it.

Anything's possible, but let's look at all the possibilities.

Right, I am not a psychiatrist and I am only guessing. It could also be anything else and your version indeed sounds more plausible.
I was thinking more towards paranoid schizophrenia Smiley

Holy crap, this just gets weirder and weirder.
User 'ZIGGAP' then goes on to explain that they never posted that, yet they don't offer one single explanation as to what is happening with the business. Bizarre. Here are the posts http://www.reddit.com/user/ZIGGAP

Sadly, we are probably dealing with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissociative_identity_disorder  Undecided

Well, shit.  I have TD in the USA.  They're technically different companies though, so does that count as bad?
1084  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ziggap Bitcoin Sales Service on: April 28, 2013, 09:54:12 PM
With the amount of trading that he has done I'm sure several people know his address etc. With the amount that he must owe in total with his BTCJam loan and these investments there must be enough worth chasing him for... although squeezing blood out of a stone is generally a difficult thing.

Personally he owes me about 60BTC through BTCJam, although I'd settle for 30BTC which is what is outstanding on the capital as I'm willing to ignore the interest owed.
Everyone knows his address, actually.  Coingenuity knows his phone number.  Also: Someone on OTC hired a PI that found him.

So, anyone knows what's up exactly/reached him?
Latest "contact" is a response on Reddit blaming me for identity theft (as well as coingenuity calling him and telling him about the Reddit thread):

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1crk44/did_anybody_else_just_see_this_posted_and_quickly/.

Other than that, he's disappeared with no news.  The site is also gone from the domain; see ziggap.com.

1091  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did BFL break an FTC rule? on: April 26, 2013, 10:43:16 AM
Wouldn't this make PayPal accessory to the crime?

PayPal has no way of knowing that delivery has been delayed unless customers tell them. They also have no way of knowing whether customers have consented to that delay.  Absent an order from a consumer protection agency, they're probably on dodgy legal ground if they just reverse all payments made to BFL via PayPal.
I would assume that if a customer calls up PayPal and cites this law, they'd probably reverse it.  It seems like it would be the equivalent as "I didn't get the item."

*bump*

Still looking for serious folks
If you're SO reputable on the other account, what is the account?  Saying that your a "vet" means absolutely nothing if you can't prove it.

TradeFortress:
We really need some mods on the chat.  It's getting spammy ;(.  I would even do it if you want me to.
1095  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ziggap Bitcoin Sales Service on: April 25, 2013, 10:35:13 AM
Not really.  I don't really do Bitcoin assets much.  ASICMINER seems good, but I don't know them on a personal level.

Ironically, the only one I knew was aethero.   Sad

Yes, ASICMINER kicks ass, they actually went up quite a bit recently which makes up for the ZigGap stuff in a way =)
Glad you made a profit!  I sorta made a profit too, if I'm counting in USD.

Who I REALLY feel bad for are the people who had 60+ BTC there.
1096  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ziggap Bitcoin Sales Service on: April 25, 2013, 01:02:25 AM
I think it's best to just trade with people you know.

Also, aethero has always been unstable.  See copumpkin's rating.  The reasons I quit ZigGap:
  • Aethero was unstable and often went into rants
  • He asked me to do things I wasn't comfortable with, such as go around the Internet and post spam about ZigGap Sad

I don't know the community very well yet. I've had solid experiences so far with Jah, bitcQuick, and ASICMINER-PT, BTCINVEST in terms of dividend payouts.

ZigGap was my only disappointment so far, but then I invested blindly so you win some you lose some Smiley

Do you have any recommendations in terms of individuals you trust who run assets on bitfunder? Just on a personal level I mean.

1097  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FREE Bitcoins on CoinChat - Get bitcoins for chatting! (1 mBTC to first 10) on: April 24, 2013, 11:37:46 PM
PROMO: I'll tip 1 mBTC (you get 0.8 mBTC after fees) to the next 10 people that join and says hi in chat.
Can I have 1 mBTC?  I'm there right now under danieldaniel.  I think I was one of the first 10... Not sure, though.

Cool chat, though.

Hello!
Our casino is suffering a temporarily negative house edge so I am looking to give out an exclusive deal to early investors/loaners.

Contact me in private

Never conduct loans via PM.  Let the community vet it and point out issues.  That is what we are here for.  Smiley

You are right to a certain degree, transparency is key when conducting business (especially with Bitcoins) however I feel as this is a low risk deal as I am a pretty respectable individual, not exactly running the video feeds from my basement.

What I need more from the community at the current stage is publicity and suggestions. Our marketing agent is helping us with that and I am always very grateful for even the most strict critics.
Uh, what makes you reputable?  I haven't seen you around here too much.  No offense, but all you have is a (failing) casino site.

You speak in facts without specifying that it's really just your personal opinion. If you don't want to lend/invest if you don't trust me then don't, nobody is putting you in a shoulder lock.

A properly researched individual would think otherwise. It's a natural filter of sorts for me, weeds out all the teenagers, so I'm pretty happy in the current situation.
No, it's NOT my personal opinion.  You have 119 posts, and an account that "magically" came back after disappearing for months.  You have a casino that's been registered for a month with no other "reputation" as far as I can see.  Please prove me wrong if you are inclined to do so.

TL;DR: Account comes back from Nov 2012, makes 100 posts so he has a post count, and registers a website to look legit.  Now, since he has "unexpected circumstances." he asks for a loan.
AKA: Recipe for scam.
1099  Bitcoin / Project Development / IRC SMS-sender bot on: April 24, 2013, 09:29:41 PM
I made an IRC SMS-sender bot on irc.freenode.net.  The room is #DDSMSBot.

If you want to be able to send SMS's, you have to PM me (danieldaniel on IRC) so I can add you to the access list (so I can give you the disclaimer).

It currently works with Verizon (tested & working), T-Mobile (Not working for some people), and AT&T (I need it to be tested).
