141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BOT TRADING on: November 09, 2020, 02:17:58 PM
I think that trading with bot it's quite similar to playing lottery with numbers that already won in some combinations. Bot actually copies some learned moves in the market that doesn't necessary reflect the true situation in the market.
In short I wouldn't recommend bot trading because I don't think that any software can replace that human "touch" and there is no short and automated path to profit. Bots can be used for fun but definitely not for serious trading.
142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can A Chrome app be a malwware and steal your private keys? on: November 09, 2020, 12:02:44 PM
I don't think that Chrome app itself can be malware but it can get infected with different types of malware. Private keys are very sensitive data and it's not recommended to be stored anywhere online, in any app or database that can be easily hacked or breached.
People very often go for solutions that are convenient for them but don't pay enough attention to security and that is why so many incidents happen.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambled against Biden - funniest instance on: November 09, 2020, 08:52:07 AM
Nah, perhaps this is just politics, maybe he was really a pro Trump and that's why he blurted this statement in public. Nothing to take serious though, maybe he meant different and didn't gamble that involved money. But since Joe Biden has won already, and just like any other state heads, he is oblige to accept the fact that he will be working on a new US sitting President and there could be changes in the policies and trade relationships.

I did not bet on this US Election, but if ever I was, for sure I'm going to lose because I'm going to bet on Trump winning the re-election.  Grin

I also didn't bet but I think these were among the most popular bettings when it comes to politics and no matter which side the gambler choose chances were equall to win until the very end. Politics is a funny thing but if someone bet on Trump's behaviour after the election that would be guaranteed win. 😁
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 08, 2020, 08:56:51 PM
Absolutely not. How could we anyone consider possibility to be a part of a scam that he's completely aware of? Not just because of risk and possible loss but because of fact that this you will be part of activity that would harm others and steal their money. From my point of view this is completely unacceptable and I strongly advise not to participate in something like that.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How btc price correction make things right. And what you should be aware of. on: November 08, 2020, 07:47:44 PM
Yeah, don't be a victim of sweet statements and testimonies.
Better, think of them as something fishy.  Grin
How can I say that?
Well, I am a victim. Bought some dust coin for 2 satoshis because of their sweet engagement but in just one day it all fell to 1 satoshi.
Then it never moves up in weeks and months.
Learned my lesson afterward. Stay with the legitimate ones. Expensive, also risky but you know it can come back from the grave.
I always do my own research despite of the team claiming as a good project because that’s their way to attract investors and you have to be wise always. The btc price correction has something to say, for me that’s another buying opportunity because the up trend is still there, so there’s a chance for the pump. You should always be aware about the project details, don’t skip this part.

Making your own research and background check is always a good idea. It's better to be sure where you put your money instead just relying on information that are served by project.
But many of us learn our lessons on harder way, usually very expensive but as long as we don't make the same mistake again it's just a good lesson.
146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: November 08, 2020, 03:40:18 PM
It's not quite dumping, we saw some slight correction. I would say this is the part of natural volatility process and hardly we can expect only straight up movement of price. I know that many are expecting to see Bitcoin price at about 20k level soon but I think some more corrections are possible and we might see Bitcoin going towards 17k but as well touching 12k or even less.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 08, 2020, 01:22:07 PM
I will look for the result of this election, that is a really huge amount of bet, I wonder how he got that confident to bet $5million for this election, I am hoping that there is no source from anyone about the winner of the election. I can't imagine myself spending a huge amount of money on betting, even though I will have a huge amount of money in the future, I won't take $5million to risk.
Maybe if he will win on that bet, I will follow his betting side.
wow that's really huge bet, right now I was planning to place a bet maybe I could follow this bettors bet it looks like he is confident to place such amount on Trump. hopefully i do the right decision.
That is a good move mate, if you don't have any idea who to bet then you may do copying the bet of a popular person or following a person who bet a huge amount of money.

Well... It's official Biden one, looks like I also lose money by following this user. Well that's fine to me since I only bet a small amount compared to his $5M bet on Trump.

You lost a small amount like you say but I'm sure there are many gamblers who followed this guy and his enormous bet thinking they will win. That is brave and crazy at the same time and according to results that are coming those who bet on Trump lost. It would be very interesting to see on how large bet in general are we talking about and much money is lost in bets on Trump.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbooks often offer different odds for the same type of bet on: November 08, 2020, 11:27:28 AM
There might be different odds for the same types of bet but I don't think such differences are minimal. To my opinion they are to minimal that would influence your chances significantly and that you could actually take advantage of it no matter the small risk. Personally so far I haven't run into something like this.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 08, 2020, 10:05:16 AM
In my country there are not many businesses that accept bitcoin directly which I hope will improve. I like to spend Bitcoin for everyday needs also, besides I hold certain amount, so Bitcoin debit card was a solution for me to be able to freely spend the Bitcoin. I believe that Bitcoin should have its purpose in real life, not just to sit idle in some wallet.
Also, I spend some small amount of Bitcoin for gambling.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Online Casinos on: November 08, 2020, 08:14:57 AM
In my opinion, if a casino should exist, then it should be anonymous and use cryptocurrency. Regular casinos require too much data about a person, which alienates many users.

If casino wants to run business on legitimate way then it should obey the law. Amd according to law KYC is obligatory in many countries and casinos should be in line with that law otherwise they might have some troubles with law enforcement
So, fully anonymous and without providing any data you can play in illegal casinos and that is not something I would recommend. You don't have any protection, you can't claim your rights in case of any issues and in general you play on your own responsibility.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 07, 2020, 09:20:56 PM
Bitcoin price is not a problem to me at all even if it continues to increase it's price as it is my hobby to gamble and I am already
aware of the risk that I am going to face. I wonder also why other players are thinking that the price increase will affect their profits
in gambling as it will not matter as long as we will be using bitcoin in betting.

But if there will be many gamblers that are worried about the bitcoin price then it will be good if the casino owners will give the players
more option about the currencies that they are going to use in betting like USDT and etc.
Indeed, it could not be a problem but for a new gambler in the cryptoworld maybe it does. Yes it can affect I think starting the amount of bitcoin to be bet. And the transaction fee will increase I think as well, so maybe I will reduce my bet in a bit, and everytime I will win I will make it half and save the other half of it. Bitcoin price will motivate me to gamble more, but it will take a risk because if you lose the price equivalent in usd is not the same before.

Yes, it's quite a tricky situation. One the one hand Bitcoin price rise motivates us even for more gambling and on the other that same reason plus increased fees might influence our habbits in terms not to spend Bitcoin for gambling.
If the price continues to rise I think I might gamble less in crypto casinos.
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 07, 2020, 08:29:11 PM
I would be very careful with predictions for Bitcoin price going all the way to 20000$. There is potential and although the now we see upward trend there is also slight correction visible today
In the next period Bitcoin price might overcome that and continue to go up but it might also go deeper into correction and get back to 11000$ or even lower.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Cycling Thread on: November 07, 2020, 05:00:10 PM
The Vuelta is coming to the end, tomorrow everything will be finished. My favourite Roglic was doing well and he is coming closer to the final win so I hope this will be the final outcome and I'll win the bet. I also hope that the weather forecast for tomorrow is good. Anyway,  it was another good race, looking forward for the next one.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 07, 2020, 12:15:30 PM
Share some tips to win or to minimize losing?

Since we are talking about sports betting, don't just bet blindly.

Doesn't mean that a team is good it will win all of its games without losing. There are factors that we can look into to analyze teams, players, games or matches before it can happen so we have the upper hand. Though there is a reason why it is called gambling, you can't actually tell which teams will win so we just find a way to increase our chance of winning or minimize our loss.

It also might help if you choose one or two sports that you will be dedicated to and follow what is happening with matches and players. When you get deeper into some sports you will have more information that will help you with your sports betting strategy. Of course that will not be the guarantee of winning but still it might be helpful.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: American election is nothing to do with BTC on: November 07, 2020, 08:14:51 AM
Elections in US don't have anything to do with Bitcoin price as well as politics in general doesn't have significant influence on Bitcoin
Although there are some who connect recent price rise wirh elections in America and possible change of actual president but to my opinion there is no connection whatsoever.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 06, 2020, 10:10:49 PM
I've read some strats that will help increase the odds of you winning regardless of whose team you are betting on.

This is quite interesting, can you share more about it? I haven't read any of that in my years of experience as a gambler, is that good only for a specific type of game, or you can apply in any types?

I don't think there are strats which really help in practice, in real betting. They might be good in theory and they might give you some extra self confidence thinking you have some advantage and game under control but at the end thus you only deceive yourself. There is no guarantee for winning in any case.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: November 06, 2020, 08:17:44 PM
If you ask me trading Bitcoin for alts was never good idea and especially isn't now. Besides majority of altcoins are not worth attention, especially not for trading. Ethereum and Litecoin might be good as alternative for holding .
These days were very good for trading Bitcoin so let's hope favourable period will continue.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: November 06, 2020, 05:35:46 PM
So it is almost sure America will have new president!
Some Republicans rejected to support Trump's claims.
It seems to Joe Biden  has safe adventage.
No repeat of year 2000 this time.

It seems so. It was tight race and it's still not over yet. Anyway, everyone who bet had almost equal chances to win so from the betting side that was good. Votes are still being counted but as I read news that are coming it looks like it's decided and that US is going to step into changes.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 06, 2020, 12:40:50 PM
Back to form, this is what I was expecting from the king of crypto it has all capabilities to go any limit, I use to say my friends to invest in this coin because it's infinite.

I went through many news and had few research on BTC and I feel there's a big opportunity to reach 20k again, However many analyst reveal the same on BTC there are lot of possiblity of that lets see how it goes.

It's good that you promote Bitcoin by saying your friends to invest in Bitcoins just make sure that you inform them about risks too.
Everyone is very excited and euphoric in situation like we are having now but experience tells us that corrections are possible too. We are still very far from 20k so let's be patient and not rush with conclusions. At this moment Bitcoin price might cross 17k but as well go back to 11k.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: New peak: $14500. No bearish sign. Keep it up the King on: November 06, 2020, 11:59:42 AM
I guess everyone is thrilled after Bitcoin price crossed 15000$. There are reasons to be very optimistic but still a little bit cautious because at this moment it's still too early to say how far the price will go. This will also attract new traders and investors which is good for the market. Keep in positive mood and let's see what near future brings us.
