741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: May 28, 2020, 08:46:50 PM
Republican presidents are expected to cut down on welfare spending, and reduce the federal debt. However, for the last 3 decades or so the opposite has happened. The federal debt increased under George W Bush, and it increased further under Donald Trump. Even in terms of debt-to-GDP ratio, it has increased significantly under the Trump presidency.
You know exactly why republicans increase the debt and how. Normally the country gets a lot of taxes under democratic president, they get the taxes like they suppose to and nothing weird happens about it, but when republican gets to be a president, what is the first thing they do? Cut down on taxes for huge corporations, trump did that with 2 trillion dollars cut for the companies who worked hard to simply.. lose it all during this pandemic, so they didn't even helped the nation at all neither, waste of 2 trillion dollars. When the country is in debt of 20 trillion, you get that 2 trillion, not allow them to pocket it.

Biden is clearly much better candidate because he is more in the middle, I would have prefered Bernie over anyone, but Biden is miles better than Trump, the only bad side is, Trump knows how to talk to his hatred filled racist voters whereas Biden can't really get votes from left anymore, he should have rallied all the Bernie voters under him when he had the chance but he is missing that chance by a big margin.
Biden may have some issues, Biden could even turn out to be a rapist, but what people are forgetting is that Trump is a rapist, cheater, dictatorship loving, country selling, racism fevering, fear monger who is direly wanting to rule America forever until he does and possibly his children after him, so Biden would be a very very bad president, Trump would be the worst in history, and he has been so far as well.

That is all true but I think that people have very short memory and they forget all that Trump actually did and stil does. Also, I think that Trump is the choice of average American because that is the average state of mind.
Also, I'm not sure that Biden is good alternative but people should obviously choose which one is less bad for them.
742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many Courses did you take to become profitable? on: May 28, 2020, 07:35:39 PM
In the time when I started trading there were no courses. In fact, there were very few available information at all. So, I learned along with getting experiences, making.mistakes and wrong decisions and similar.
It's good that this has changed and now you can get education and work on yourself all the time. I support life long education and constant development of capabilities but hands on experience is the best way to become good, successful trader.
743  Economy / Economics / Re: Virus Bear Market? on: May 28, 2020, 05:15:01 PM

- Have you guys noticed Terrorism that flooded the news daily has suddenly vanished from tv news. Its like the terrorists are on this virus lockdown too that doesnt make sense. This indicates that the virus have made terrorism redundant and the virus will be the new long term fear tool on the tv news replacing terrorism. This indicates this Virus will be long term lasting years or even decades like terrorism did. So things wont get back to normal soon.

I agree. Place for some horror stories come others. The only question is how long will people believe in these stories about the virus?
In my country, almost no one believes in him. But the authorities persistently impose masks and restrictions on the work of many types of business

I don't think that virus is fake news. It was there and many people went sick because of it but I can agree that the whole situation was a bit exaggerated.
When it comes to terrorism and other negative stuff that hasn't disappeared, of course, but COVID-19 was the top news and everybody in the world was occupied with that.
It's well known that media like sensations and to spread the drama.
Now when the pandemic is over or has weakened many other issues in our societies come to surface and this is usual situation.
744  Economy / Economics / Re: Would nations adopt a DIY approach post covid-19? on: May 28, 2020, 01:14:42 PM
Life needs to go on, we can't stay in lockdown forever, that would mean the end of economy, businesses and any kind of progress.
But now after the worst part of pandemic experts now more about the virus and how it's spreading so if the second part comes, it might be easier and people will need to learn how to live with virus because we can't stop the whole world once again.
I think that everyone of us will need to.find own way how to cope with such situations if they ever repeat again.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll about lottery game on: May 28, 2020, 09:24:16 AM
The better odds, the more players will be attracted, that is logical. The question is how you can build the platforme and ensure the best for players and that everything is legitimate and trustworthy.
New platforms appear all the time but only few manage to attract and keep the players for a longer time.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think shops should accept bitcoin? on: May 28, 2020, 07:14:43 AM
Because of volatility Bitcoin still represents a risk for merchants and not much of them.are willing to accept Bitcoin as payment method. Also, mostly online shops accept Bitcoin and in physical stores that is very rare.
I think there should be bigger number of shops who accept Bitcoin but there should be some campaigns.that would encourage them and thus they would attract more customers, especialy younger generations so it would be worth for them.
747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever get past $10K? on: May 27, 2020, 08:45:47 PM
We were close many times recently to 10000$ but then in the key moment price pulls back.
Seems that resistance is rather high and price keeps fluctuating somwhere between. Although it seems very possible I don't think that Bitcoin price will break 10000$ in the next month or two, it might happen that we have to wait for that until the end of the year.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Choice To Stay Longer Online Or Casinos on: May 27, 2020, 11:57:28 AM
My choice are online casinos. I don't like crowded places and I prefere to play alone when and how I wanr so online casinos are my prefered way.
In fact I don't go to physicall casinos at all, I don't feel comfortable there. But I guess that people who like to meet other gamblers, share experiences and feel the atmosphere of physical casinos don't like to stay at home and play online. Luckily we all have the choice.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Post-Halving Bitcoin Era Will Be Unlike Any Other? on: May 27, 2020, 09:21:24 AM
Block 629,999's message “NYTimes 09/Apr/2020 With $2.3T Injection, Fed’s Plan Far Exceeds 2008 Rescue” is a just a confirmation to Genesis block's "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks."

This message was a reminder to us that the economic order in the world should begin to change. And we, as early adopters, find this message very meaningful. But for these events to have a meaning, Bitcoin must be reaching more people now. Perhaps a large part of the world is aware of the existence of BTC but has not yet had the opportunity to use this system. Especially the days we encounter more often as a payment method should come ...

Wasn't that the message from the begininig, since the Bitcoin was created, that is the time for changes? However, I.don't think that world is ready and fiat will continue to dominate. Also, we still have the situation that very small number of people is using Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.
The situation with COVID-19 pandemic was also opportunity for changes, however nothing significant hasn't happened and I don't think it will.
Potential and opportunities are there but they remain unused
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 27, 2020, 07:12:18 AM
No, I gamble for fun and to make some money.
But some people gamble to.escape from reality and their problems but that will only lead them deeper into problem. In that case I think they need professional help.
It's normal to gamble to entertain yourself and to forget for a moment on things that are bothering you but if you look at gambling as a solution for real life problems then you are in trouble.
751  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 26, 2020, 10:10:19 PM
It is advisable to always have your savings at your place, not trusting the banks or anyone else. Because in which case, you have the opportunity to lose all your money, and literally stay with nothing. But in what exactly to store, everyone already decides for himself.

Yes, you can store money at your place and then the burglars might get into your home and steal it.
I don't think that home is safer than bank when we talk about money. Besides, your savings in bank is secured.
In a.type of world that we live it's not yet possible to live without banks. Yes, a few xan, but these are people without regular income that have no need for credit cards or loans, bank account and similar and they usualy live very modest. But in general, for average citizen that would be very hard.
752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those that hate risks! on: May 26, 2020, 09:00:36 PM
I don't fully agree with what's been said.
Everyone hates to lose the money, even the most successful traders, but what it's important is how you handle the loss and if you are prepared for it.
That is why risk assesment is very important and you should never invest more than you can afford to lose.
As long as you are aware that loss is inevitable part of trading and that you always need to.have recovery and back up strategy that works, you are all fine.
753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: May 26, 2020, 07:39:57 PM
You can't stop panic selling, there will always be users who will do that, especially those with lack of experience and with low stress potential.
But there are also users who will sell because they need money or they sell regulary some amount of coins but they will not sell it at any price without a reason. However, it's hard to judge why would someone sell, everyone has different reasons and motives.
But something that might prevent panic selling is education about how it's Bitcoin functioning, about price and market but not everyone has the will for that.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: May 26, 2020, 01:26:46 PM
Well, these two games are quite different so they can't actually be compared. Everything depends on your preferences, it's hard to tell which is the best.
Even profit from these two games can't be compared because they depend on different strategies and it can't be precisely calculated.
Personaly I prefere slots because it's a bit more exciting for me than dice but like I said, everything depends on the one's preferences.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto is better then fiat? on: May 26, 2020, 06:27:47 AM
isn't it just handing the control & power from governments/banks to a small group of wealthy whales?
The pope, the bank and the government are different elements they cannot manipulate crypto.
The crypto market was never regulated by the pope and the government, that is the market manipulation that often occurs, caused.
Large/rich whales, this type of whale is very dangerous can play very big on crypto, this could involve international companies or their countries have financial resources that are executive, not government but pope, their finances may not be counted.
Because they can influence buying crypto and can radically influence investors, investing in crypto in the market.

This is the first time I heard of a crypto vs fiat argument which involves the pope. LOL!

How in the whole wide world is the pope related to all of this? The Vatican does not even have their own independent currency. Neither does it have its own central bank.

This is too far-fetched that it sounds extremely ludicrous.

Yeah, this is so funny. Pope and cryptocurrencies, I also hear for the first time for this combnation.
Anyway, this everything sounds to me like another conspiracy theory, just this time Vatican is involved too.
For some reason people think that every government and institution is trying to destroy Bitcoin or at least are trying to weaken it. In fact that  It's not true, they have far more important things to do some bitcoiners obviously like to think they are some kind of rebells and victims at the same time.

Anyway, in the world that is still exclusively depending on.fiat it's hard to tell that crypto is better than fiat money especialy having in mind that it's not perfect. Both fiat and cryptocurrencies have its good and bad sides and that is how it should be treated.
756  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks would suffer till at least 2025, according to IMF on: May 25, 2020, 07:14:10 PM
If a bank needs 5 years to recover, imagine how much the average Joe needs. We've been all hit much harder than a bank and the result will be seen pretty soon..

There are some very good indicators out there (good for predictions, not good as in positive) that show very well how hard this entire Corona thing hit us. For one, number of suicides & heart attacks in the past few weeks. More than half a million britons registered for a suicide prevention course. This entire situation hurts everything: health, our mental, the economy etc.

I keep waiting for that true face of the economy to be seen, because everyone's trying to cover it up and once the beast unleashes it's going to be a blitzkrieg from all sides..

I agree, 5 years is very long time and if banks need that long then other businesses and average people would need twice as that.
However, at this stage these are only predictions and guessings, probably in the worst scenario, but economy hasn't strarted to show bad signs yet and only fall and winter will show the true state of play. If another wave of virus doesn't strike again.
Stil I hope that economies will manage to recover sooner and that at the end all this predictions will turn out exaggerated.
However, hope for the best, expect the worst.
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Double bottom @ 3.1k or lower low @ 2k? on: May 25, 2020, 06:15:13 PM
I don't think that at the moment there are conditions for Bitcoin price to fall that low. Of course, everything is possible and right now we can see some corrections however I don't expect some deep fall to happen.
By such low values we would really have huge panic selling that would disturb the market additionaly which is no good at all.
Right now I don't think there is a room.for fear of such low price and to my opinion at this correction Bitcoin will probably not go lower than 7000$, if this even happens.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 25, 2020, 02:49:27 PM
She's only doing this because i believe she owns a chain of restaurants in some of those casinos, and its hurting her pockets to keep them closed.

That ciuld be a motive, yes. But on the other hand, life needs to get back to normal sooner or later and that includes casionos too
I don't know the exact number of infected in Las Vegas and how the overall epidemic situation stands but I guess that with high hygene and social distancing measures it could be feasible. Of course, I also think that experts should give their opinion about casino opening but on the other hand one industry shouldn't be in worse position than others - for example if restaurants or shopping malls are open.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 25, 2020, 12:17:20 PM
It's always wise to pick gambling trusted sites that have good reputation and reviews.
If you choose something new always make the checks, everything that is available online like domain, owner, customer service etc. There are different online tools who can help you to check if the site is legit or not. Also, you can check the user experience on different forums.
If something, even a tiny bit looks suspicious to you, stay away and don't put your money there.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Medalist Bought Bitcoin on: May 25, 2020, 10:04:44 AM
I'll just say what I've said many times so far.
I don't think that news about celebrities and other public persons connected with Bitcoin are actually relevant for Bitcoin community.
Their goal is primarily their own promotion and publicist, not promotion or support to Bitcoin so the impact of such news isn't that big and important, it's just that it's given much bigger media space than they actually deserve.
