881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency crime in Netherlands. on: May 02, 2020, 08:11:26 PM
That is how expert hackers and scammers are.

Hackers hack computer systems for knowledge and fun. Not for profit or damage they can cause.
These were just filthy scammers. Bitcoin is early stage and when there is bubble growing huge masses of non-technical people coming in.
They often fell victim sadly.

I can't agree with that. For majority of hackers the motive is money. What do you think, what they live from and how they finance their activities? Yes, some do that for fun or even for politics or ideology but many are motivated by material goods. Bitcoin is not exception and it's very convenient because it's not so easy to trace it and despite it's not the same as on the begininig it still has a great deal of anonimity.
882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tesla, Elon Musk and Twitter on: May 02, 2020, 07:17:27 PM
Elan Musk give bigger announcement in his twitter account about how interested with bitcoin and try to make bitcoin become legal payment transaction in the future,

No he didn't. Stop lying. His Bitcoin tweets are pretty much just memes. Unless you have any proof?

https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1054520588734058496

Wwll, for many prominent public persons Bitcoin is.just another way of selfpromotion, they don't really care about Bitcoin and its promotion, this is.just another way for them to get public attention.
Elon Musk achieved a lot and he is good in many things but I don't think that Bitcoin is one of them.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC breaks 9k, are we on bull run? on: May 02, 2020, 06:19:14 PM
Bitcoin broke $ 9000 2 days ago, and now the price is back below $ 9000, strong resistance at $ 9000 must be overcome now,
if not the price can return to $ 7000, hopefully bitcoin will start bullish this year

Yes, the change happened fast. Bitcoin price broke 9000$ rather fast but it also pulled back quite fast. And we have to know that not every price rise is considered as bull run so it's not good to run with conclusions and especialy not to make decisions based on that.
Bitcoin price will rise again but at the moment I don't expect to see bull run and meanwhile corrections are possible too, don't forget that.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: May 02, 2020, 02:48:04 PM
This paper https://www.annualreviews.org/doi/abs/10.1146/annurev.publhealth.23.100901.140532
takes a look at mental health and gambling.

Quote
This article reviews the prevalence of gambling and related mental disorders from a public health perspective. It traces the expansion of gambling in North America and the psychological, economic, and social consequences for the public's health, and then considers both the costs and benefits of gambling and the history of gambling prevalence research. A public health approach is applied to understanding the epidemiology of gambling-related problems. International prevalence rates are provided and the prevalence of mental disorders that often are comorbid with gambling problems is reviewed. Analysis includes an examination of groups vulnerable to gambling-related disorders and the methodological and conceptual matters that might influence epidemiological research and prevalence rates related to gambling. The major public health problems associated with gambling are considered and recommendations made for public health policy, practice, and research.

One of the main questions is if People with mental disorder like to gamble or if People with gambling Problems deal more often with mental illness as a result of e.g. stress.

I don't think that is the question. The problem is that gambling might lead to addiction, similar like alcohol or drugs and that creates real problem. Gambling addiction is the medical issue just like any other addiction.
I agree that stress is one of the key issues of modern men and people deal with it on different ways, but some of these ways may lead to even bigger problems, especialy if people have problems with selfcontrol.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: May 02, 2020, 10:40:22 AM
I haven't noticed some kind of.change, it's prety much the same.
Even before quarantine I was usualy gambling online so I didn't have the need to go to phisical casinos.
Also, I kept my job so in this period I don't have more spare time to spend for gambling and because of all.situation I'm also careful with money I spend so it's everything the same for me.
But I know some playera who now spend more time and money for gambling, the question is for how long they can hold that way.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin as inheritance on: May 02, 2020, 08:10:39 AM
Many has such idea to leave their Bitcoin as an inheritance. In that case you have to have in mind that Bitcoin is volatile and so the value you leave to someone will not be fixed. With time it can become bigger or smaller.
And I think that the best way to do that is to attach the private keys to will, thus they will also be legaly secured and protected from possible abuse in case that you give them directly to person who will inherite your coins.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MY BLOCKCHAIN WALLET WAS STOLEN 0.39070099 BTC !!! on: May 01, 2020, 10:08:40 PM
The OP might have mistakenly reveal some vital information regarding his wallet unknowingly at the mercy of hackers,
Hackers had been more sophisticated in recent times online wallet are always prone to hackers, the OP ought to have store such a huge amount of Bitcoin in a hardware.

That might be the case. But I have to say that blockchain wallet isn't among safest wallets, they had many breaches so far and it's not very wise to keep coins there.
However, I agree that hacker's attacks are getting more and more sophisticated and security it's hard to keep.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: May 01, 2020, 08:50:37 PM
Everyone needs to decide for himself.
From my point of view this is not the time for selling unles you realy need the money.
Recently we saw a price jump that didn't last on long term but it was good opportunity for day traders.
Now the price puled back again but at this moment it's hard to twll what will happen next.
Anyway, it's very obvious that the world is heading towards deep and long term crisis and Bitcoin might be one of your safe harbours so don't sell just now unles you realy have to.
889  Economy / Gambling / Re: BLOCKCHAIN - A game changer. on: May 01, 2020, 07:17:21 PM

Every developer today just creates games only for mobiles when they should be creating for all devices including the desktops. There are people not comfortable playing such a small device. I wonder if the gamers playing the game are interested in the tokens actually. There had been lots of games attached the word blockchain to it to interest the people around here, most of them failed to become popular.

I can understand that some prefere desktop but let's be realistic. Mobile devices are developing very fast and people are using them much more than desktop computers for example, especialy younger generations. Developers go there where money is, it's very simple.
But we have to admit this one looks very good and it has potential.
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using a trading bot? on: May 01, 2020, 04:30:48 PM
I don't use bots because I don't trust them. I don't believe that bots can replace human thinking, experience and decision making. Bots can be used for fun or maybe by beginners and less experienced traders but not for serious trading and they will not help you make bigger profit. If you find then helpful that might be more the question of luck than their efficiency.
891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which of the two will you choose as a gambler? on: May 01, 2020, 12:36:06 PM
Safety and security comes first for me so second option is what I would choose. I think that protection of your privacy and data is very important but not enough users are aware of that. They often choose easier and nore user friendly options and these are always risky  and when consequences appear it's really hard to get everything back. So my advice is always to think twice when your security is involved.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which investment is a safe haven Gold or Bitcoin? on: April 30, 2020, 08:54:50 PM
Every investment takes a certain risk, you can't escape that but everything depends on your risk apetite.
If you are more conservative investor, more inclined to traditional investment types then gold might be better choice for you.
However, to my opinion Bitcoin is more profitable and more dynamic type of investment but you have to be more involved in the market.
So, basicly everything depends on your prefernces, available funds and risk you can handle.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think sport betting and gambling casinos are the first business to get up on: April 30, 2020, 07:21:08 PM
Many businesses are affected by the corona virus, but for sports betting and casino I'm sure there will be no loss. Only casino employees
affected by the corona virus, for not getting a salary. For the casino itself after the corona virus ends, it will return to normal. And I'm sure
it doesn't take long for the casino to be as crowded as usual. Especially for gamblers who are addicted will play right away gambling at the
casino.

Every casino that has an online options is not suffering loss and even if their business is not on the level that was before pandemia it will recover soon. That can't be said .for many businesses that are at the edge of surviving.
Employees of phisical casinos are affected, some are even out of their jobs but many governments are helping businesses to cover at least part of salaries, at least that is the case in my country.
894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction in the next days? on: April 30, 2020, 05:07:15 PM
My analysis leads to a slight correction, but I am still hesitant for large or only a small amount. Clearly it will happen later.

Well, this is speculation, it might happen but it doesn't have to. Some correction already happened after quite a quick rise but how far this will go and if further corrections will happen that it's about to see in next days. However, I don't expect some hard dump that should worry us
But now it's the good moment for daily trader to profit.
895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now Bitcoin will pump or dump? on: April 30, 2020, 03:01:11 PM
I think we just found out the answer, bitcoin is pumping now and so yes it will pump.

However, we should be ready for a possible dump also, as I was thinking it could only be cause by the upcoming halving and after the hype, things will be back to normal again, you know, that's how crypto works, its very unpredictable, get yourself used to playing a big guessing game.

Yes, currently we see the price rise and rather strong but it's yet to see if this is going to last and for how long. I think that at the moment it's too early to conclude how price will behave so I agree that dump is expected too and users need to be ready for that scenario too. This is not only very sensitive time for fiat money and economy but for the cryptocurrencies too.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: April 30, 2020, 09:41:39 AM
Well, I have to say that my gambling life hasn't changed much during quarantine. I was always more oriented to online casinos than to phisical ones.
But I think this is very dificult time for gambling addicts who are in danger that their addiction becomes even worse because if they gamble all the time with nothing else to do, the consequences might be very bad.
897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Information About Bitcoin Halving on: April 30, 2020, 06:10:48 AM
If we will take a look at the chart and on the 2nd halving part. After the 2nd block halving there you see a new all-time-high.
So, for me, probably like months after the block halving we can able to see a new all-time-high, like probably as what others said: The year 2021 is when the Bitcoin is probably getting its new all-time-high.

I just got back into crypto and saw about these few weeks ago. Still looking forward to what it will gonna happen. It was the first time I will witness the halving of bitcoin. But based on some sources I've read we might really see a good result this 2021 which is already predicted few months ago.

Those predictions are based on the history of the past 2 halving which resulted into a bullrun few months after the halving. But, this doesn't mean witnessing a good price on 2021 is guaranteed. Remember, the Bitcoin block halving ain't about the price growth, but it's all about the literally halving of the miners' reward.
However, a lot of people were fond and optimistic about the halving, thus It's giving a boost on the price movements because it will encourage the mass investors to pour more money in cryptocurrency.

Exactly, but we all know that history doesn't have to repeat. No one can't actually predict the outcome of this halving. Despite all optimism and big expectations the final result doesn't need to be very high price rise that all want. However, it's true that positive expectations might bring new fresh investors to Bitcoin.
898  Economy / Gambling / Re: bookmaker = please help on: April 29, 2020, 08:02:00 PM
Why would you bet on a sportsbook that is unknown when there are many known books?

Some players always like to experiment. They always think that something new and unknown is better and that they will make more money. But that is often a trap and at the end they are surprised if they lose money or their data is abused. But that is probably human nature.

900  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: April 29, 2020, 05:40:39 PM
In our country, general community quarantine will be implemented as long as no vaccine is created even the curve has been flattened. This might be the new normal since there is no coming back to what normal is. This means only a few are allowed to go out, those who are working and transport will be limited, curfew will still be implemented and there will be a checkpoint everywhere.  Even some businesses will be closed, some will be allowed to operate again but with limited hours. The pandemic had affected our lives greatly, even the economy suffered a lot.

That might take a very long time, some predictions say that we need about a year for vaccine. I don't think that people and businesses can endure that much, such quarantine can only lead to deep crisis and  poverty. Mo country in the world can cover such losses so the consequences of quarantine at the end might be much worse than consequences of virus.
To my opinion the world is heading towards worse crisis since WW II.
