461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we really know how many bitcoins does satoshi have? on: July 23, 2020, 08:34:38 AM
First of all I don't know why such information would be relevant for anyone here and why would any user of this forum need to know how many coins Satoshi has. To my opinion that is privileged information and not something that should be shared in public
I think that information how much Bitcoin Satoshi has will remain unknown as well as true information about his identity.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: July 22, 2020, 08:36:49 PM
I don't trust bots and I don't use them. To my opinion they can't help you make the profit and they can only be used for fun, not serious trading. I know that traders try to find different methods and tools that could make them trading easier and more profitable but bot is not one of them. There is no shortcut to successful and profitable trading, you need to work hard on that.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: How will look the world in 2100? on: July 22, 2020, 07:45:45 PM
Isn't that too far away? If the world we know it will even exist by then.
I think that we could have learned from this pandemic how easily things can change and that sometimes big plans for the future make no sense.
Usually I'm an optimist but having in mind current situation and how human race behaves towards this world and each other I don't think that we have a bright future and in 2100 could be much, much worse if this planet makes to survive.
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to out of this insecurity? on: July 22, 2020, 05:17:18 PM
There is no absolute security, we need to be aware that. Every account and wallet can be hacked, just like any bank can be robbed.
However, exchanges and other crypto services can raise the level of security and we also need higher awarness among users to protect themselves. We need to be aware that cyber security is very important, that there are some technical measures that could be implemented and we can also protect our personal and financial data.
465  Other / Off-topic / Re: Popularity bitcoin day by day on: July 22, 2020, 03:45:54 PM
That is hard to estimate. I don't think that there are any relevant statistic data about Bitcoin use and acceptance. All we have is an impression, often the one that we get here on forum and we forget there are people outside this forum who have never heard of Bitcoin. I would really be interested to see sone exact figures if they exist anywhere in whatever form available.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Living with parents again could fuel the next Bitcoin bull run. on: July 22, 2020, 02:05:23 PM
How on Earth people come to such silly conclusions?
Living with parents could trigger bull run, seriously? Do you know how small percentage of people in general is using Bitcoin and willing to invest in it. With such small awareness on cryptocurrencies in population you can't expect something like this at all, it's completely exaggerated. And for triggering Bitcoin bull run much more is needed than to some teenager or young yuppie invests some small amount in Bitcoin.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ask]; Start betting on horse racing gambling. on: July 22, 2020, 10:19:47 AM
Horse race betting looks very interesting to me and for a whiile I'm preparing to start with that bet.
The problem is that horse racing isn't popular in my country, there are no races so I'm not into that sport. First of all I need to collect some information and knowledge and betting on that sport seems rather complex to me.
I'm glad that this topic is opened here, I've already gotten many interesting tips and information.
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 22, 2020, 07:50:48 AM
Never say never. Besides, it's hard to predict, especialy for a longer period of time, how the Bitcoin price will move. Just because Bitcoin price isn't rising according to our wishes we can't say that something will never happen. But even if it does or when it does you can't expect that it lasts forever. And you need to have patience. Patience is one of the most important features of good investor.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally some justice, scammer sent to jail at South Korea. on: July 21, 2020, 08:22:02 PM
It's hard to say, I don't know all circumstances. However, he will still go to prison and that is something and whatever we say 2,5 years is not so short period of time if you are locked. I just hope he will have to return all the money if he kept something and that they will catch his accomplices too.
No matter to all. It's nice to see that not all scamers escape without punishment.
470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: July 21, 2020, 07:36:05 PM
A first advice to any trader is to choose a right broker and then right strategies. A broker determines your half of the profits. You will surely loose out if you have a broker with high trading cost such as high spreads. A broker that provides excellent service should be the option. Second, a right strategy, a strategy that works for you. Another advice is to be patient.

Not only that, the right strategy is very dependent on your personality as a person, it is easy to think that holding your coins for the long term is a very profitable strategy, and it is, but what if you are a person with very little patience? In this case trying to hold your coins for years or even decades is not really the best option for you and you will need to find another way to make money in the markets, maybe for that person day trading can be a better option that will suit his personality way better than holding for the long term.

To have personalized strategy is very important and not only because of the personality of each of us. We all have our short term and long term goals and it's very important to follow that so that we put our efforts in that direction. That will also define if for that goal is better trading and what kind of trading or maybe just holding. I find that having vision and a plan is very important.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins joins the bank on: July 21, 2020, 04:05:43 PM
Cryptocurrencies and banks are incompatible things. Absolutely incompatible. You should understand that the philosophy of crypto is completely different from the modern financial system.

They are compatible because they have something in common... Both are a way to handle money, and sometimes we want to hold our cash on cryptos and some times we want it on dlls, if we want the money and not the cryptos banks are the easy way to withdraw.

I agree, cryptocurrencies and banks can go together. Some crypto users are too rigid and don't want to see that there are not so many differences between fiat money and cryptocurrencies. Yes, they are functioning different way, have some different principles but at the end of the day its about value they have and how it could be used in real world. That is why are banks interested in crypto and they are willing to adjust their business to be more compliant with cryptocurrencies.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 21, 2020, 12:42:10 PM
The number 10 is just pure luck. With odds of 1,666,666/1, if I'm on his situation I will not expect for too much on it. Just see the odds. That is even lower than your chances of winning in a lottery I think but still he is quite lucky enough to get the prize Cheesy.

The number 1 is purely insane and pure trust in his prediction, skills and experience. Putting a huge amount like that in an underdog is no joke but still he got the victory Cheesy.
Not expecting for this to happen for me though  Grin Grin

To be honest, most big winnings happen on.such was, either is luck or crazy gambling. We all know that only knowledge, skills and experiences without luck rarely lead to huge winnings. Also they are mainly reserved for professional gamblers . And very often behind big winnings there are big losses too
473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 71.2%, alts lagging behind on: July 21, 2020, 10:52:24 AM
Altcoin is trying to survive now, despite the high dominance of Bitcoin, I still see Altcoin still staying at the support level, and it looks strong, I'm sure altcoin this time will withstand Bitcoin when the dump occurs

Yes, many altcoins are struggling to survive and for many of ttem that will end up bad, only few will make it at the end. Time just proves the true strenght of Bitcoin and no matter the negative price changes, which are normal, Bitcoin will remain dominant coin. Majority of altcoins are just the waist of time and money.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin for Contract Killing" on: July 21, 2020, 06:29:54 AM
It seems that some people have just discovered darknet. Yes, contract killers could also be found on dark web.
And yes, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can be misused for illegal activities and that is nothing new. But so can fiat money and nobody is making such drama because of it.
Of course Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general became popular for illegal activities because it's still harder to track transactions and reveal true identity than when it comes to fiat money.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: building a crypto criminal database on: July 20, 2020, 10:07:57 PM
And what did we expect? To have broader and broader use of Bitcoin and services and that everything will remain the same? Including the illegal use of Bitcoin?
Of course not, Bitcoin should also fit into legal framework and that means that we need to sacrifice a part of of our privacy and anonimity and there is no sense in fighting it.
476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: July 20, 2020, 08:17:25 PM
I don't see any reason for panic. Price is for a longer period of time staying in more or less same range and at the moment I don't see signs for bigger price dump. Some minor corrections will probably happen but I don't think thdt will cause some bigger range panic selling. Although for some price going under 9000$ might be the alarm.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you estimate resilience of economy in your country? on: July 20, 2020, 07:23:37 PM
Cheesy LOL I sure as shit know the United States hasn't done everything we could've done that's for damn sure.  The problem is mainly on the Republican government side of things as they to mainly appease the president were much more lax in lock-down and now it's backfiring big time.  If people would just wear mask and listen to SCIENCE, it would help a lot.

I can agree that US haven't taken pandemic seriously enough. Also, they thought after a lock down economy will recover very soon but that will probably not be the case. Also, they opened too.early and now they are facing two big problems, big number of infected and dead and economy that is not getting stronger. I'm not sure they have a right receipe for way out.
478  Economy / Economics / How do you estimate resilience of economy in your country? on: July 20, 2020, 03:55:27 PM
We are all aware that economic crisis is coming as a consequence of COVID pandemic and therefore probably will be deeper and harsher that we thought at first.

Do you think that your country has done everything to cope successfuly and rescue economy, support businesses and most vulnerable citizens or not? What do you think which country in the world will fight the economic crisis best?
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN price chart suggest $9k on: July 20, 2020, 12:26:42 PM
The article says about the support level in which where we are. And if it goes down, we have the other support on $8k lines.
Welp, nice read though we have the same TAs in each level.

Nice TA although we all know such analysis are not fully reliable. Also, I don't think that we've found something new. For longer time now situation with price is pretty much the same and everyone is expecting any kind of stronger movement in any direction, even negative one. Despite all that I don't expect neither big fall or big rise.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Must Be Inherited on: July 20, 2020, 10:10:33 AM
It’s better to share the details with close family members so that once you are not their others can make use of it and can sell and get the money as they would require money at that point of time. So, either can share with siblings/spouse/children/relatives or whoever is close to you and needs to know so you can let them know to take care of it when you are not their around.

One of the solutions is to save all relevant data about your Bitcoin wallet in some external memory, like USB and store it somwhere safe like bank vault or something. Of course, your family members need to know that information and how to get it in case that something happens to owner or there is need for inheritance.
