We still live in world of fiat currencies and our economies depend on it. I don't think there is any secret. Maybe exactly that is the problem, some people think if they reveal the secret of success traders, the receipe they will become successful too

Yes, the transaction fees are increasing too but to my opinion that is mainly due to price increase itself and the enlarged number of transactions.
