121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 13, 2020, 12:49:14 PM
Being nervous is normal when you are betting a decent amount and that would affect your finances when you lose, but if you still stay at the line of "bet what you can afford to lose", I guess you'll still be alright and that pain you will feel when you lose is just going to be a short lived one.

I think that "bet what you can afford to lose" will be the important thing that we should remember because if that is not in our dictionary, we will always use more money to bet. Some people will feel losing money for a long time, and they can not erase that feeling for some time. We can apply that thing before we play gambling so that we can avoid a big loss.

This rule is basic for every risky activity where you put your money so it applies to gambling to. I think that as long you bet the sum you can afford to lose you will have fun and when you cross that line frustration, pressure and anger appear. In that case gambling is no longer fun and not just that it can easily turn into problem.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Turkey as a sponsor in a football match on: November 13, 2020, 09:08:19 AM
It's a good promotion. O don't remember that so far I"ve seen such open advertising except online. I believe that with time that will become quite normal and usual because there is no need for crypto exchanges to hide and don't advertise their business. This many people who are not familiar with crypto exchanges might become intrigued.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: November 12, 2020, 07:38:12 PM
Those are the common mistakes of a trader either a newbie or a season trader especially the over trading because sometimes there are traders who become greedy to their
trades in order to obtain a huge profit in just a short period of time. Sometimes, I also fall to this kind of mistake but I am trying not to commit this kind of mistake again.

And these informations will be very useful especially to those newbie traders who want to become a successful trader someday, it is good that they should know on what to avoid so
they can lessen their losses if in case they will be facing these problems in their journey of trading.

Greed and desire to recover the loss as soon as possible are very common mistakes. Not only made by newbies but also experienced traders fall into this trap from time to time. That is why self control and strong personality are very important for traders.
Also it's not very wise just to follow and copy other traders, everyone needs to develope its own strategy according to own goals and limitations.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 12, 2020, 05:05:21 PM
Investing in bitcoin is never risky, currently $16,000, and it will increase from now to the end of the year. All predictions are very positive, bitcoin is indeed making new breakthroughs.

Investing in Bitcoin is never risky? You are probably completely new and inexperienced in crypto world. Investing is always risky, it only depends on your risk appetite and risk management abilities.
Anyway, coming back to the subject 17k price is possible, at the moment is slightly above 16k. However, corrections are possible and I think that price could approach to 17k this weekend but I don't expect to stay there, probably it might return to 15k again.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 12, 2020, 02:17:10 PM
To be honest I don't see any need to be able to use Bitcoin or other crypto in real life casinos. That is why we have online casinos and it's kind of natural for them to accept Bitcoin. On the other hand for real life casinos that is still too big risk with lot of complications so I don't think they will make that move soon and it's really not necessary.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: After elections end this year for all countries, we are all screwed on: November 12, 2020, 01:00:47 PM
Economies in all countries are in bad shape due to pandemic and it's been s tough year everywhere. US is not an exception and their economy is also suffering. I don't think that the results of elections will make it worse, why would that happen.
I don't think why some people think that the former president has done something extraordinary for economy, I don't see such results. Besides, the consequences of his personal economy politics in his business will be visible very soon when different judicial processes will start.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling = just for fun or an investment method? on: November 12, 2020, 09:28:15 AM
Gambling could hardly be called an investment method. It's a game with high risk to lose the money you play with. I don't think that any financial expert could agree that this is an investment
At first place gambling should be fun and we should play the money that we can afford to lose. Any winning and profit are just extra bonus except for professional gamblers who thus make for their living.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be dumping soon - What do you say regarding the chart? on: November 11, 2020, 08:39:02 PM
I don't know if Bitcoin price will dump but I believe the corrections are possible. Due to Bitcoin volatility it's hard to expect that the price will just go straight up all the time.
Also past experiences and charts are telling us that price corrections are very likely the question is only in what range and for how long.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public perception of Bitcoin as payment method (survey) on: November 11, 2020, 04:41:43 PM
Although Bitcoin is now present for quite a while many people are still not familiar with it. Many of them who are but don't know enough about it don't see Bitcoin as a payment method or think it's not reliable enough, don't trust it because it's not regulated or transactions are too expensive for them etc.
Personally I like to use Bitcoin as a payment method but many people don't and we are still very far away from using is a wide accepted payment method.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 11, 2020, 02:06:12 PM
We are only played by the gambling site and system, there is no chance for us to win and this is what we continue to maintain. When trying with multiple betting always have miss one match and never give us how to win. I think enough if your mind can rich with gambling site because you always loss and never try again for waste your time with always loss. Just waste your money and remember every night how much your money giving to betting site and how much ROI return back to your pocket. I think is enough when you calculated with your outcome and income is far away and not get profitable anymore but all lost.

I don't think that system is so invincible and corrupted in a way that winning is not possible. Otherwise, what is the point and why would people play and some of them win
To my opinion is more the question of risk management and since sports betting doesn't depend only on luck, also on sone skills of each particular gambler.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Can legalisation of Cannabis help US economy? on: November 11, 2020, 08:56:03 AM
Many countries are thinking to legalize cannabis, at least in certain forms, primarily for medical not economic reasons.
I don't think legalization and legislation would contribute to economy, especially not in country like US. To feel benefits on economy production and export should be very big and cannabis and cannabis related industry should become one of the top products and I don't think this will happen. The only who could benefit from cannabis legalization would be sick people who have troubles with illnesses where cannabis can bring them relief.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a world power? on: November 10, 2020, 09:36:36 PM
Well, let's don't exaggerate with presumptions. Yes, Bitcoin is a leading cryptocurrency and it will probably stay so for a longer period of time but it will not turn into world power. We still live in world of fiat currencies and our economies depend on it. Also, I don't think that US elections will change anything in that way and new elected president has so many priority issues to deal with so crypto is not on the top themes in the upcoming period.
133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 10, 2020, 07:22:16 PM
I don't think there is any secret. Maybe exactly that is the problem, some people think if they reveal the secret of success traders, the receipe they will become successful too
But there is no receipe, just dedication, knowledge, patience, long process of learning and knowing the market, managing the risk and that still will not prevent you from losses. To my experience to become good trader it takes a long and sometimes painful process and that is not for everyone.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could 2018 repeat itself? Price approaching 20K and high fees followed by crash on: November 10, 2020, 05:38:11 PM
Although the situation seems pretty much the same like in 2017 and 2018 circumstances are quite different. Although the price is on the rise we are still far away from 20k. Yes, the transaction fees are increasing too but to my opinion that is mainly due to price increase itself and the enlarged number of transactions.
I'm not saying that 20k is impossible but still it's s very lomg road to go.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 10, 2020, 03:07:31 PM
Personally for me it is. I know that large majority of gamblers are lead by profit but that also easily leads to greed and addiction.
Everyone of us likes to make some money when gambling but we all need to keep in mind our limits, not let gambling to control our lives and have good entertainment every time we are in casino on line or in real life.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 10, 2020, 12:00:05 PM

I thought the Asian countries are doing good than the westerners in dealing with the virus, the news seems to tell us that Asian countries are doing better and are almost back to normal like how the Chinese are going it.

The new normal really isn't normal at all. Though the virus are very much controlled in their area, the people are still very cautious that they are still not going back to casino like they use to.

Well, you just answered your own statement.
Though the virus has been under controlled along this area, but that doesn't mean every businesses has bounced back after a devastating economic crash. Macau has been knowned as the Las Vegas of Asia and are expecting to cater a lot of foreign clients every single day. Without these foreign clients, the casino cannot contain the payroll If all the staff are in full operation.
The casino cannot be blamed here If these employees has been force to have "leave with no pay" . This scenario should be consulted to the government to assist these employees financially.

That is true, many businesses didn't recover or are still in slow and painful surviving process. That also depends from country to country, in some governments introduced some measurers to help to recover the economy but not equal to all businesses. Unfortunately,  I think that gambling industry is among those who didn't receive much help and government support.
It's not a wonder that workers found themselves in such difficult situation but it's also up to owners to decide how to deal with that. Is it their priority to keep their own economy standard or keep workers at job and help them to survive.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 10, 2020, 09:03:18 AM
This is very hard to tell at this moment. Handling pandemic and crysis will definitely be priorities and from the past I don't remember that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies were in Biden's focus.
We'll with time how the situation will develope but I don't expect to see some revolutionary changes in attitude towards Bitcoin.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Scoring a goal with the VAR interruption on: November 09, 2020, 09:57:13 PM
I support new technologies and the progress they bring so the VAR has also contributed to resolve some unclear situations. However, I think that on that way the game loses the great deal of its charm and opens the space for second thoughts and decisions that probably wouldn't be made at first glance. On long term I'm not sure if that will 'ruin" the game.
139  Economy / Speculation / Re: This rally is driven by institutional investors - what are the implications? on: November 09, 2020, 08:36:36 PM
Let's assume that it's like this article says and this rally is institutionally-driven. What does it mean for Bitcoin? Can you say that institutional investors trade significantly differently from retail investors on a volatile and speculative market?

If more institutional investors buy Bitcoin that will mean that there will be more whales owning Bitcoin. Whales have chance to manipulate market. It will be a reason less to be a trader.

I don't think whales have so important role, in fact I think that too much power is in theory given to them compared to real situation.
It's also just a theory, a hypothesis that this Bitcoin rally is driven by institutional investors. I don't like to speculate about such outcomes when there isn't any ground to support it.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 09, 2020, 05:49:08 PM
My general advice is to avoid casinos that don't have the licence. It's not just that your personal data are not safe but your funds as well. And if something goes wrong you don't have any kind of legal protection. I think there is a great choice of legal, trustworthy casinos so better choose one of them.
