If you gonna buy someone other account who have tokens, thats not mean u can tip. It says often unable to tip, contact support. Beware with these accounts.

There is no legit way of buying tokens outside of CB, they don't allow resellers and you're right about buying an account with tokens, it might become un-tip-able, making it useless. If there was a way I would have loved to buy some tokens myself.
142  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange ShapeShift Hacked, Unspecified Amount of Bitcoin Lost on: April 09, 2016, 04:40:20 PM
An unfortunate circumstance but like most things online it's not immune to hacking with hackers trying to exploit these sites daily. But as stated by ShapeShift, their platform is designed to protect customer funds in events like these so it would seem that only their company funds may have been taken.

Since they were not like the traditional exchange, there was no way for hackers to steal user's funds as the funds would only remain on the exchange for the time the exchange (shift) took place, which usually required one confirmation in most cases. But as mentioned it must have affected some when they took down the exchange or when the hot wallets required to complete the shift were emptied by hackers.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar Opened , your first impressions ? on: April 09, 2016, 04:28:01 PM
Haven't got a first impression of it since I haven't tried it yet and not so keen on trying it near future either, I'll let others take the tour for now and report on it and then maybe I'll join later. Since I don't buy too much stuff online, I am not too enthused about it, let's see what becomes of it.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoes dies for the 100th time! on: April 09, 2016, 03:39:30 PM
Bitcoes? Who was he? I am sure he was a nice person, RIP Mr. Bitcoes.
145  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling twitter account on: April 08, 2016, 05:13:09 PM
Will removing bots improve this account's audit report? It might if re-audited, which twitteraudit won't do without paying for it. The first one is free but they charge a fee for the subsequent audits.

My audit shows at 83% when I am sure that all of my followers are real. Maybe they do this so they can make you purchase the next audit.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 08, 2016, 03:26:07 PM
I'd gamble more if I was rich but sadly I am not. But if I do become rich in future, I would not gamble from my home in front of the computer, no sir!, I'd go to Vegas, Atlantic City, China etc. where they have the biggest and best floor casinos in the world.

I mean what's the point of being rich, if you're not even going to live your life to fullest?
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: April 08, 2016, 03:16:44 PM
Guys keep your kids away from "making money on the internet" thing, its not as easy as it looks plus there are monsters everywhere, they'll get desperate when they don't make enough from playing games or leeching faucets and start doing shit like cam whoring, though nothing wrong with that but its not something you want your kids doing.

Instead give them small amounts of bitcoins for doing house chores, start giving them a part of their pocket money in bitcoin OR set up a small store for them (on OB or elsewhere) where they can sell things for bitcoin.
148  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: April 08, 2016, 03:08:56 PM
Saving for future is always the best thing do as you never know what will be the value of bitcoin in future so if you save now and sell at the right time that can be more profitable.
In anything, saving is always the best, even in money.. Saving bitcoin is also the best..Price keeps on increasing...But the best thing is bitcoin's future is very promising and proofs of it are all around us and being discussed..
Don't save all of it, spending is as important as saving it.
And the future is uncertain, not just for bitcoin but humanity as a whole.

#Scenario-1: Something goes wrong, a bad virus is spread throughout the environment and we all turn into ugly zombies and we all know what happens after that.
#Scenario-2: Nuclear war breaks down, we're all dead.
#Scenario-3: Earth gets hit by a giant asteroid, game over!.

Point being, don't think too much about future, buy it, use it, buy again. Maybe save a little for future but that's it.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] How do you back-up you private key or secret seed? on: April 08, 2016, 02:49:19 PM
Voted for:

* Pen and Paper (Electrum Seed)
* Memory stick (Seed, Keys..)

Both of these are then stored at a highly secured facility (Shoe box in my cupboard) where no one can reach.

152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoins on: April 07, 2016, 03:39:58 PM
People are actually sending bitcoin to that address now also which i think is basically burning them, they will never be used them coins.  i doubt if satoshi would still even have the private keys...... well its satoshi, so he probably does.... Cheesy

How do you know how much has been sent to that address? Kind of like a tribute to Satoshi?

You can see the address https://blockchain.info/address/1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa and that is how you know how much is sent to an address, like the most recent one was sent on 2016-03-31 and no, I don't think its paying tribute to anyone, more like throwing money away for no reason, it'd be better if they donate this to me ..err to a charity instead of this.  Cheesy

Well unless you murdered anyone, you ain't got nothing to worry about. Buy some curtains and put them, in time everyone will forget your free peep show.

And in case I don't see ya..
154  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Tradings VS Hyip Lets talk about it here. on: April 07, 2016, 02:25:33 PM
Hello guys i wonder where is better from this two but i see those hyip sites last long. And start in 2014 some are nice program to invest with but all of us know hyip is scam and we never know when it be turn to scam.

While in trading it is also gambling but very nice gambling you can earn or you might lose it depends on your monitoring.

Share your thoughs about this two. In what you can say about whaT is better hyip or tradings..

Are you using google translate?

Here's a thing though, one is basically a fraud, you're sending money to a racket with false hopes of having your investment back multiplied magically after a duration of time. While the other is sort of like a gamble but based on calculative speculations.
155  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Haobtc legit? on: April 07, 2016, 12:34:30 PM

156  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Affiliate Porgrams on: April 06, 2016, 03:42:47 PM
Hello Everyone,

I have started digging into all the affiliate programs out there.

What in your opinion is the best affiliate program currently operating? Please provide examples.

Is there an affiliate program that can provide serious income?

Check this out: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_Affiliate_Programs

As far as your other questions go there are so many good ones that you shouldn't really rely on one and it can provide serious income if you're able to get people to sign up as your affiliates, which is not an easy task, more importantly it is harder to find active affiliates, for ex. if someone sign up under you on a gambling site, your income depends on how much they wager, similarly if it is an exchange then it depends on how much they trade.

158  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: user Reload is a scammer on: April 05, 2016, 04:36:49 PM
Never deal with a newbie at all. But if you really want to do then always go for escrow.

Looks like cryptodevil already tagged him as a ponzi operator so you should have been cautious of the fact!

We were all newbies once and not all of them are bad but like you mentioned OP should have been careful since he was dealing with a Ponzi operator and yes, escrow should be used where ever possible, although it is hard to hire one for $2 deals.

OP did you made a deal with him on the forum or just invested donated money to his ponzi?

For future, do what I did, Go to your "Profile->Ignore Boards Preferences" and block the complete ponzi section out, you won't even see any posts from their in "Recent Unread Topics" list.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: April 04, 2016, 02:24:17 PM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only.
Is there any other reason to gamble? Even if you're gambling for entertainment, the only fun you get out of it is when you win, so everyone gamble for the sake of profit.

But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.
Though money management smartness is necessary but in the end it all comes down to luck. You can be as smart as a whip but if lady luck is not in your favor (which she usually isn't) you'll end up losing.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
Never chase losses, understand that some days you're gonna lose and some days you're gonna lose more but most importantly, don't make it a Job. And if you're getting frustrated from your losses, then maybe it is best to take a breather every now and then.
160  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Haobtc legit? on: April 04, 2016, 02:14:58 PM
Only place safe for your bitcoins is your wallet. No some random "we will make you millionaire, just give us your bitcoins" site.
You must be smarter than that, invest in trezor, some hardware wallet and don't invest your bitcoins, they are investement in itself.

They seem legit but it does not mean something cannot go wrong and they shut down and run. Keep your coins in a cold storage.

Don't worry, I am smarter than that, I can never get myself to trust any of these kind of services, no matter how trustworthy they seem, I just wanted to see what was others perspective on it.

And it looks like a lot many think its safe, or maybe they're so keen to earn something from their bitcoins that they want to believe it is.
