Hey DB, what's happenning with the site right now? I was getting no bets available earlier now I am getting a host error, the bets status is not being updated??

Edit: It's fixed now. Nevermind.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 16, 2015, 12:57:01 PM
Is it still profitable to start a gambling site? Or is the market already saturated?
What do you think is the most profitable gambling site to create?

With Bitcoin I think it's the most profitable business there is but you have to think different and don't follow the crowd and have some features different on your website to attract players and it's still a great market to do that. I actually have an idea but I know if I tell anyone, they're gonna cut me off and make one for their own. There is no copyright with ideas.
843  Economy / Gambling / Re: ALL TENNIS BETS on: October 16, 2015, 12:28:52 PM
my fourth bet -- venus williams vs cornet --

winner - venus williams

surely CORNET WILL WIN THIS, both are attacking players but venus do too many errors always so my vote is with cornet !

Cornet has lost the first set and Venus is a game ahead in the 2nd and I think the match will be over soon, she's no match for Venus's hard hitting.

I have placed a good money on Murray to defeat Berdych 2-0, let's see what happens. (Not following this thread or tipster btw, I place bets on my own)

What you guys say about Jankovic - Gavrillova match, I am sure enough about Jankovic but with today's mladenovic's defeat I am a bit confused. Any suggestions..
844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much time dows it take to sell bitcoin ? on: October 16, 2015, 12:22:37 PM
thanks man for your response ..
So .. The only wat to exchange my bitcoin into dollars is through escrow ?
and if coinbase doen't work in Egypt .. How I made a Wallet ? * it is the only site that I know who make wallets *

You need to read on a lot buddy about Bitcoins in general and mainly Wallets, the online wallets are not safe and they're particularly not safe for holding large sum of Bitcoins. Use this link to get educated about wallets -> https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet, and read the warning at the bottom of that page. I would advise a desktop wallet but that is only safe if your computer is clean.

Another online wallet which is not listed on the above site is blockchain.info/wallet but again it's better if you keep your coins in a cold storage wallet, especially since you're wanting to invest a lot of money into it. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Cold_storage
845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Astronomers may have found alien megastructures orbiting star near the Milky Way on: October 15, 2015, 03:19:24 PM
There are no aliens on stars in milky way, no water, not a damn thing. The astronomers/ Nasa/ Space freaks were running dry, they weren't getting funded so they had to come up with something that get people's attention and this what they came up with and now they're going to start working on programmes to send more space crafts, build more advanced radios etc. etc. and they'll get paid to live a happy rich life for another 50 years or so. And then they'll find water/aliens on some other planet.
846  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk is it possible to separate businesses and gambling discussion? on: October 15, 2015, 02:55:10 PM
You know OP it's best if you add a 'Poll' to this thread and people can vote and it will show exactly how many are in favor of this and how many are not. I think it might help you achieve your quest (if they vote in your favor i.e.) since it will give clear indication to the Admins that members of the forum really want this.

I'm from Egypt .. and the only way to put money and receive it is Paypal .. So what could I do ??

Well, Sir.. You must have Western Union there? You can find a buyer on LBC or here on the forum and ask them to WU the money to you, it might cost a little more but atleast they won't be able to charge back cmiiw, your bitcoins will be held by an escrow and once you have successfully released money from the agent you can ask escrow to release the funds. And I am sure you'll find some cash traders in Egypt on LBC.

There are some traders who trade for Paypal but here's the thing, Paypal can be charged back to upto 180 days and which is why I would never recommend anyone to use it.
849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting on Elections on: October 14, 2015, 03:34:55 PM
right now Directbet is offering bets on some politics events in UK , US and Australia ..etc
I really hope that our international friends here will give us so tips to bet on their election , usually it's easy to know what the people want  Grin

Betting on Elections candidates is quite easy. People can easily know what candidates who competent enough to win.
And by the way i'm never bet on that things.
If i choose to support any candidates, then i prefer to give contribution to them. Not by making bet.

There are a lot places to do betting; horse racing, sports, or casino games.

I don't think it's easy at all and usually the same rule of betting applies there too, if the contender is favorite to win, like Djokovic is favorite to win a grand slam then the odds you get on it are quite low and you'd have to bet a lot more to make anything which in itself is a risk because a minor shift of votes and you risk losing a lot of money.

DB has it but if you don't see a particular event OP then ask them, they add the events if they can and/or if there is much demand for it.
850  Economy / Services / Re: Earn 0.01 BTC by helping me find the title to this movie on: October 14, 2015, 03:30:38 PM
If I Wanna Whistle I Whistle (Romanian)

Oh wow, I just checked the movie. I jumped to a random part and I instantly recognized it. Thank you so very much, give me a bitcoin address! Cheesy

Why did you love this movie so much that you are willing to pay some btc just to know its title? Just curious  Cheesy
It just bothered me that I couldn't remember the title, and the ending was really interesting so that's why I remembered that one in particular, haha Smiley

I know the feeling, I am currently searching 2 movies of which I don't remember anything but couple of scenes, no actor names, although I can see them clearly in my head but google isn't developed enough yet to search from thoughts. But I am positive I will find them soon.
851  Economy / Gambling / Re: What feature would you like to see on a Dice site ? on: October 14, 2015, 03:26:48 PM
Not really a feature but PD2 had this quizzies in the chat done by Micro and it was great fun and everybody had a chance to win something apart from the dice which made people hang out a lot and ultimately if people stay on a site they gamble so it helps both the site and the players and ofcourse if you're planning to add something to a dice then Happy Hour is something every dice player loves which is increased faucet for an hour or two.

The most thing of all, you need to make free faucet with approx 2,000 satoshies - 5,000 satoshies every 5 minutes.

After that you make another features such
- Background designs
- Songs which can be turn off, turn on and guest can choose variety songs
- Give bell for your faucet. (Thats why FreeBitco.in can grap very big players, and all player play with big money there.)

You can play the songs on your puter anyway Cheesy No need for any feature for that.

852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 14, 2015, 03:18:55 PM
South Africa's current situation shows it has very tiny chances of winning and India has golden chance to make a successful comeback in the series.South African tail handers should not be big problem for India's bowlers to finish the match quickly.

And they did Smiley, the series is 1-1 and it's going to be a good series since both the teams are now equal, very good effort by Indians to win this one, at one point of time when they were batting it looked like they were going to lose but Dhoni batted superbly and got them a good enough total and their bowlers defended and that too with their main spinner missing from the side. Nice win for them indeed.

Please Help me
I'm From Middle east
I need to know how much time to sell bitcoins and how I transform bitcoin to paypal or cash ?
Thanks in Advance

It takes as much time as it takes you to find a buyer, you can either google and find an exchange in your country, if you can't find one I think http://Localbitcoins.com is available everywhere or you can use the Currency Exchange section of this forum to find a buyer and make a trade.

But here are a few pointers for trading succefully without getting scammed:

1.) Always use escrow
2.) Use a payment option which is not reversible (Paypal can be charged back)
3.) Clear the terms of the trade prior to making the trade and stick to them

Scroll down on the main page of the forum and you'll find Local sections and you might find people from your region.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: October 13, 2015, 03:11:32 PM
Well it was the first one I ever heard of, that's the first reason right there and it's the only one I see being here for a long period of time, alts comes and goes, for example, stellar was here a while back and everyone was so excited about it and now it's no where to be heard.

Bitcoin has established itself as the most recognized world CryptoCurrency and it tells me that it's here to stay and which is why I trust only Bitcoin.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the future of online gambling? on: October 13, 2015, 02:29:51 PM
I use to think so too but Bitcoin will have to fix itself up, the recent attacks on Blockchain can really mess things up, I lost a few bets because either they were delayed due to spam attacks or they were pruned from database because the previous transaction changed it's ID. So until these gaps are filled which gives these attackers/hackers free entry to play with transactions or slow them up, I don't think it can become the future. And this is a serious obstacle which Bitcoin needs to over come.
857  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help with Grandmas computer on: October 11, 2015, 05:44:28 PM
Wipe the OS clean and re-install. You'd need the Win 7 Dvd for that but that's the best way to clean up nasty viruses that just won't leave.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 10, 2015, 12:52:11 PM
If you want to make money then both matches are good to place bets on.I will place on India against S.Africa whereas in other match I will go for Ireland to win second match.

I agree. Indians are dyeing for a win, they wanted to win the 3rd T20 so bad but rain ruined their plans and now tomorrow they'll be firing on all cylinders trying to get a head start in the ODI series and Ireland is a good team and they work hard, I would still give 60-40 in Zim's favor but still Ireland is safe for little bets.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: address with start from 3 on: October 10, 2015, 12:44:10 PM
If you click on the transaction on blockchain.info and hover your mouse over the '⚠' symbol you can see the warnings, which say:

Basically you're trying to send dust with very small amount of fees and I don't know if these will ever get confirmed because miners might think this is another spam attack. Also, why you created a multisig address for such small amount?
860  Other / Off-topic / Re: Avatar for our Administrator on: October 10, 2015, 12:30:24 PM
I think Theymos should have a more professional looking avatar. The avatar you recommended will be more suitable for moderators will are always banning people. I rarely see or heard Theymos banning people. A ban hammer for theymos avatar is not good... LoL.

Well then suggest one you think would suit him.  Wink

What about something like this?

It's a valid suggestion. Why you think he should be the guy in hoodie? Smiley
