1081  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitfortip.com Tip and earn Bitcoins by posting and answering questions on: July 25, 2015, 05:04:48 PM
Great Site, I think you should add an option to pay to multiple people answering a question because sometimes one gets more than one right answer and it's unfair to choose only one.

You mean give the member that posted the question the choice to reward multiple people if they provide right answers?

So if the reward is 0.01 BTC

If he chooses to reward 2 people each one will get 0.005 BTC ,  if he chooses 3 people each will get 0.00033 BTC e.t.c. ?

I believe that the current method is fine and works good.

First one that submits the information that someone is looking for gets rewarded with the whole bitcoin bounty.

So far the maximum reward that has been given by a member is 5$ in bitcoin.

Yes that is exactly what I mean and it can be mentioned in the Question as well when it is being posted by the asker that the reward is 0.01 but it may get distributed evenly if there are more than one right answer, which as you know does happens sometimes.

Not with all them as some questions have only one single correct answer and the person who posts the right one first deserves the full reward but if a questionnaire is looking for some sort of suggestions than it might happen that there were more than one right suggestions and it would be unfair to choose only one when something like that happens. Or maybe just a way to tip the others apart from the reward.

But you don't have to add it right now if you feel it is working fine, it was just a suggestion.
1082  Other / Meta / Re: Is there any way to report a whole thread? on: July 24, 2015, 01:23:31 PM
Well I don't particularly see anything wrong with it. It's a Forum people come here to post their views and they have every right to do so, if this thread is wrong then I am sure there must be many more threads same as this in other sections as well.

Infact some of the topics itself are created over and over again phrased differently. For ex. "What's the best Bitcoin Wallet" "How can I keep my bitcoins safe" "Which wallet is safe" or "What's the best way to earn bitcoins for free" " Where to get free Bitcoins" and there must be many other topics on which threads are created over and over again and they're discussed over and over again.

So should we start reporting and try to get these threads deleted/locked because they were duplicate threads?

Yes, we should? People is getting banned everyday, have you seen the meta section? Almost every day there is someone complaining about their ban because they were posting insubstantial and non-constructive posts so why are these allowed? As i said deleting the thread might not be a good idea but locking it, i think its fair enough, the question was simple, what is the safest dice strategy, the answer has been given, a few times, no point in continuing the conversation at that point, dont you think?

Yes, it was a simple question and agree that mostly the question gets answered with first few replies in almost all the threads but it also happens that sometimes there is a disagreement or someone thinks that the a particular reply was not correct or partially correct and then it gets quoted and the other person posts his/her view and then it sparks a discussion of what is right or wrong, like what is happening right now with this question.

Then there are questions which are simply like a poll and then everybody tries to post their point of view, I don't know if there is anything wrong with it but I am not going to start reporting these because I don't think these threads will get locked and what will happen is I'll get my good reports percentage dropped (which I have managed to get up somewhat), so I don't think it's a good idea.

And it's all about perception, a post may look useless to me but it might not to you or others. I experienced that when I reported some posts made by a user to ndnhc when I was in their campaign and he told me that according to them they were good.

Great Site, I think you should add a task section, where people can post their small projects like, sign-ups, twitter re-tweets, FB Shares etc and everyone who finishes the work can be rewarded. Or just add an option to pay to multiple people answering a question because sometimes one gets more than one right answer and it's unfair to choose only one.

1085  Economy / Gambling / Re: Favorite poker sites? on: July 22, 2015, 12:00:29 PM
I would suggest Nitrogen
have hourly freeroll and ard 12-18 players take part in each
Hourly freeroll  with 0.001 prize money. Playing against 15 other players for that amount is a joke. I am sure the games wouldn't be fun either as everyone would likely be just shoving every hand.

You're right, it isn't fun at all, it's almost same at all the sites with maybe the exception of one or two, players hang out at lobby only to play at freerolls and after a while these tournaments just becomes donk fests.

@OP you can check out swcpoker but it's download only and you might find some players who play at ring tables but can't say for sure.
1086  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chaturbate drops Bicoin: At this time we do not have plans to add bitcoin again on: July 22, 2015, 11:54:41 AM
This is really old news. They stopped taking it almost an year ago.

i was gonna try chaturbate because i saw that they accepted bitcoins, but then it turned out they stopped.
Chaturbate was accepting bitcoins for a few months earlier this year, but then stopped without any fanfare or notice.

And it was a long time ago and I was glad they did because it was becoming too easy for people like me to waste bitcoins. Never knew what was the reason behind it but I think they had some trouble with bitpay, which is what they were using to accept BTC.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most beautiful block explorer ever ? on: July 21, 2015, 02:37:21 PM
i don't know why but i still prefer blockchain.info as an online block explorer and fortunately it didn't have any more down-times after the spam attack on the network was ended.

I'll second this, I prefer blockchain.info because a) it is not bloated and b) it is easiest to read, maybe it's because people are use to it by now but it loads fast and does the job. If blockchain info is not available then I use either chain.so or btc.blockr.io or biteasy and it's because when I want to check the balance of an address I want to get it asap and I don't care about fancy graphics.

1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Formal request on sport betting on: July 21, 2015, 02:31:05 PM
WWE is a show with Actors who pretend to Wrestle, it's not a Sport and hence no Sportsbook cover it. I think there might be some sites which offer you to open bet on special events and you can try but I doubt anyone would be interested in betting at those Fake Wrestling matches.
1089  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Stolen Bitcoin on: July 21, 2015, 02:22:57 PM
This again highlights the huge weakness of bitcoin as they are stored and protected (not!) at the moment. If people loose money in a banking account most of the time they will get their money back. For bitcoin.... it's just "so sorry, too bad".

You're so wrong, this is not a bitcoin weakness but rather people's carelessness of keeping their bitcoins in a web wallet, it's like giving your money to a stranger and hoping nothing happens to it.

I don't know what happened to OP, I don't think it was a hacker or something like that because they would have swept the whole wallet but whatever it was I would suggest you to learn about Electrum and cold wallets and move your funds asap or else you might end up losing them all.
1090  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Rated # 1 by Bitcointalk Members ! on: July 20, 2015, 02:43:40 PM

1091  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.playcoinflip.com -->> Free BTC every 120s on: July 20, 2015, 09:23:00 AM
Site is slow, faucet not working.
Look is good, or I may say carbon copy of Primedice, let's hope this one doesn't get away with users' funds like some sites did in past.

its not a copy of primedice, the site is using the coindice script, which is riddled with various problems all across the code. i doubt people aware of that will even bother to test out the site.

I mean even if it didnt have any problems or bugs i doubt people would use it anyways, i mean what's the point of creating new dice sites now when there are already plenty trusted dice sites that offer the exact same thing and is not like you can offer or make many new features in a dice site anyways.

You're so wrong, you just don't know that there are currently thousands (maybe more) dice players standing in que because all the other dice sites stopped accepting players because they reached their maximum numbers of players allowed.

Thank you OP for making another Dice site, I mean there was such a shortage of these and players were running left and right thinking where can they play some dice and there weren't any places left and it was chaos everywhere as every other dice sites were jam packed and.. you saved them.

But DO REMEMBER this has just filled the quota temporarily, so my advice to other Devs, don't stop making more dice sites because there is a serious demand for these and your help is greatly needed. Thx   Roll Eyes
1092  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do escrows get paid? on: July 20, 2015, 08:39:26 AM
Most escrows these days work on 0% commission to it's not a way to earn money for most Smiley

True, they don't charge anything for small trades but if you're hiring them for trades which are bigger in value or the trades for longer period of time such as Sig Campaign escrow then do charge a fee and even for smaller trades they usually get tips which sometimes are better than what they'd get in fee if there were to charge for it.

There are escrows like Muhammad Zakir who even cover the TX fee of your trade and don't charge anything for it.

there are still someone like escrow.ms that makes you pay 1%

escrow.ms isn't offering any escrow services atm afaik.

Both the transactions are now showing 'Not Found' on blockchain block explorer so I guess it's safe to assume that they were indeed dropped and you must have gotten your coins back in your wallet and that you added the right fee for the new transactions.

You can close this thread from the bottom right of the page. Thx

1094  Other / Archival / Re: BitTournament.com - Provably the most fair Bitcoin game in the Universe! on: July 19, 2015, 12:13:40 PM
Lol, Interesting introductory post, I like your sense of humor dude but the game sounds boring as hell and for someone who talks so smart should have come up with something smarter than this.
1095  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best Antivirus for Windows 8 on: July 19, 2015, 11:45:51 AM
Malwarebytes AntiMalware is the one I use and I would say it's pretty good but only the paid version, the free one doesn't provide real time protection and you need one which is always actively on watch. I try to be careful as much as possible and avoid links which might contain some nasty viruses but if you have real time protection it catches anything that comes off from any such sites.
1096  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What is an escrow offer ? on: July 19, 2015, 10:55:54 AM
OK! Thank you. I understand.

With all the scams going on it's hard to trust new members on the forums and that is why when they're selling a product or services people tell them to "offer escrow" which means they're willing to do business with that person only if a trusted middleman (trusted forum member) acts an escrow. If you hire an escrow people will deal with you with no worries and you can sell/buy safely yourself without having to worry about getting scammed by the other party.
1097  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FUCK YOU! Primedice.com | Most Popular Bitcoin Scammers & Trusted by Who? on: July 18, 2015, 06:29:32 PM
OP,

Flip a coin 1000 times, tell me what your longest streak of heads in a row is.  Then tell me how it's impossible and coins cheat and fuck coins.
 Roll Eyes

Lol best reply so far. But I feel your pain OP, every time I lose that's the first thing that comes in my mind that I was cheated, if you feel that the rolls were tampered with then check out each one of them and see if they verify or not, when they do you'll feel a little better. Losing sucks kid but if you can't take losses it's best you don't play at all.
1098  Economy / Gambling / Re: [ Bettingblocks.com] ✔UNIQUE GAMBLING on block finders | ✔HUGE WINS EVERY WEEK! on: July 18, 2015, 07:55:41 AM
I think you should either include all the pools or return the bets if a block is solved by a pool which is not included in the list, this is what puts people off and they stop betting, like what happened with block 365827 just now, it was solved by bitminter and it was not on the list to bet on and the betters didn't received anything and the prize was sent to the other block as cherry bonus, it's great for your site but it's not what people would want.
1099  Economy / Services / Re: [instant]i will help you make your own faucet or rotator for 0.001 BTC [Hire Me] on: July 17, 2015, 07:07:03 PM
Wow this is really very cheap price, I don't have any plans to get one right now but if I ever did I will surely contact you, I sometimes see people asking for that and if I see such requests I will forward to them this thread of yours. If I am not mistaken I think I saw someone earlier in the Beginners & Help section looking to make a faucet, try and see if their offer is still available.

Also, there are sites which offer work for Bitcoins, try to post your skills their and you'll get more customers. GL with your work.

Is it a problem if the btc I sent in one transaction are from 2 different addresses in a wallet? If I win how will system choose which address to sent the BTC back to? Both addresses are owned by me so I don't mind which ever one it goes to.

I just put some more money on block #365777 and it's getting real fat Cheesy 0.649 BTC right now.
