441  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetBTC - Bitcoin Sports Betting | More Sports | Instant Payments | Like Betfair on: February 02, 2016, 03:17:09 PM
It is so difficult to match a bet on HR, the lays are too high and backs are too low, especially for the non favorite ones.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I "Think" that I found Satoshi Nakamoto on: February 02, 2016, 03:08:55 PM
Well this was interesting to say the least, it would have been much better if this was sort of like a ancient aliens episode with images and music and animations and guys with weird hair get ups talking about it.

I'd say good try but you can't find him, he was smarter than all of us then, when he invented bitcoin and he's smarter now to stay hidden from all the spies.

You can't find him until he wishes to be found.
443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: questions about trading. on: February 01, 2016, 04:20:45 PM
It looks like you're wanting to exchange them to Paypal and that in itself is risky, no matter what exchange/platform you use because you can't cover yourself from chargeback which can be done upto 180 days.

On localbitcoin you may find local traders who do cash trades, which is the safest option imho.

445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 01, 2016, 03:49:28 PM
I store my bitcoins in a online wallet, its the best way.
Don't store your coins in one wallet.
If you get hacked they got all your bitcoins it would be very bad.

Well it is not recommended way to store really, if you're storing only a small amount then it is fine but you should try and use desktop wallets, they're much safer and easier to use. The safest way to store coins actually are in a cold storage but again it depends on the quantity.

i used to only have one wallet on blockchain.info online wallet, but as my bitcoin amount grew, i moved to Electrum and paper wallet for more security.

You did the right thing. People who keep them in web wallets are either not aware or don't care or are living in a false pretense.
446  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 01, 2016, 03:41:33 PM
I think most people are seeing bitcoin only as an investment option which is why many replies in this thread says that they don't spend their bitcoins and are saving it for a price increase, which is fine but they don't realize, if they use it wherever they possibly can then that will increase the price much faster.

So buy, save, spend and buy again.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: February 01, 2016, 03:37:41 PM
If you want to earn with gambling - you will definitely lose. From my experience only people who play for fun win occasionally.
Strategy? There is no guaranteed strategy to earn with gambling. All strategies work until they don't.

That is not entirely correct. It is very hard to be good at it, but there are some professional poker players and also professional sports betting punters, so it is possible.

it has been very hard so far to keep winning.

in my experience it is always possible to win big time and even get rich with one bet but that one bet will never happen to me Cheesy

No body can win every bet, but if you play sensibly and keep track of your loss/gain average then you will win over the long run, atleast in sports betting you will, can't say the same about casino games.
448  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Private message Phishing in Bitify? on: February 01, 2016, 03:21:15 PM
I learned on this forum itself that hackers are able to send emails which looks like they came from original accounts, which is why it is recommended to not click on links sent in email and if you must just copy paste and check the domain name if it is the original one or not.
449  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Bingo on: February 01, 2016, 03:13:05 PM
On the bigger sites like FortuneJack, Betcoin.ag, etc you play bingo, as they have enough profit from more popular games to maintain such "also ran" things, just for having a full gambling portfolio Smiley. Smaller sites probably not wasting storage space, maintenance time and bandwidth for low popularity games like bingo.

Good point, same goes for poker rooms I think, since people hang out at these sites to play other "popular" games, it is easier for these sites to maintain games which are not so popular among BTC gamblers and games where you cannot play against the house.
450  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: February 01, 2016, 03:07:19 PM
I will spend the majority of my money to invest in bitcoin. I will trade and invest in gambling. I think this is enough. when I can focus on doing the job then I would never say this can not be !!

exactly.

Great way ! I am also trying few new things may be first time about trading within altcoin. Getting good results. Also have stability and security. I tried few best Bitcoin trading Platform for that and give brief reviews.

Even tried Bitcoin Gaming too.

Good ways to make it more larger. But investing in a gambling site could be risky. I am thinking about a business where I can be the boss.  Grin But there are really too many to consider. Like is it really profitable? What ifs and many more.

Investing into gambling is not investing. It s a simple gambling, the game of luck. So I ll pass on that cause the house ALWAYS wins.

If house always wins then wouldn't it prove profitable?

I think you misunderstood what he meant by investing into gambling sites, they mean investing into the house but even that is risky, for instance, investors of Moneypot are still waiting for players to lose so they can have their investment back as one of the players one huge recently.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is 100% a US/UK government agency collaboration on: February 01, 2016, 01:35:56 PM
Let's for one minute say that what you're saying is correct, that Satoshi was not a person but a group of people and it is a government project, what did they expect to achieve with it?

Think about the sort of people Bitcoin attracts: Anti-government anarchists, tax cheat, drug users, the pathologically foolish, internet criminals... Like Pooh Bear to a Honeypot...
Ehh?  Yeah, now you're getting it...
Cheesy

You mean they created this currency, so that criminals would use it because of it anonymity and other advantages and when they do, they'll get caught?
I repeat, this "anonymity" is a fiction, here's reality:
...Then we got TOR (US gubermint product), Bitcoin (at least SHA-2 is verifiably gubermint) & the unholy spawn of the two, DNMs. Suddenly tracking became much easier. Instead of IRL-roaming LEO minions, just a couple of pasty doughnut-munchers -- sit on their butts, log, and process.
Licking their fat chops, waiting for the go-ahead from Teh Man to spring THE TRAP!!!...

Quote
So, why haven't they done it already, people are scamming left and right,
Wait, you don't think feds set up a honeypot to protect criminals from each other, do you? 'Coz that would be pretty rich Cheesy

some hackers were also extorting people with that virus (if you remember) that encrypted all the files, even the celebrity fappening was sold for bitcoins and I am sure there have been other crimes where criminals used bitcoins but I don't remember seeing anyone getting arrested. Sure some exchange guys did but they're not the hardcore criminals government is after.

Like all sting/entrapment operations, this one takes time, and many khrimez go unpunished. Good things take time, OTOH a bunch of pedos/DNMs operators/low-level idiots got popped without compromising the honeypot & provided a bit of cheese to keep this scheme fed.
The best is yet to come!

BWAHAHAHA!!!!

Well my point about it being anonymous was, "if" as you say, it is a government project then they needed to convince the criminals that it is anonymous and if you think that it is not anonymous and it's all a fiction, then criminals must have figured that out too by now, so technically they (the government) failed in their project to catch big criminals with this.

But you seem pretty convinced about this idea so I won't try and change your mind but let's wait and watch if it is what you say it is. Although I really doubt it.
452  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetCoin No Deposit Bonus! Advice Sought. on: January 31, 2016, 04:12:26 PM
I don't know if this is a con or not but there is only one way to find out and that is completing the wager limit and asking for a withdrawal. Not good with math enough but I'd say keep doing what you doing or try games like BlackJack, I always had more luck with BJ when playing at Casinos. GL Smiley
453  Economy / Gambling / Re: any suggestion to recover my primedice account support ignoring me :( on: January 31, 2016, 04:08:12 PM
Were you playing with your bank account too? Did you made any deposits into that bank account?  If you didn't then how will you prove that you're the original owner of it. Because tips can be received by any account.

And afaik Micro manages the support department and they get a lot of requests but he's an awesome guy and if there is a way to get this sorted then he'll let you know.

455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hollywood To Accept Bitcoin In Movies on: January 31, 2016, 03:11:39 PM
I just hope it gets mentioned in positive ways in the future, because so far I have only seen it mentioned in somewhat illegal sort of ways, although I understand that any publicity is good publicity.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 31, 2016, 02:20:19 PM
Right now I don't have as many as I would like and therefore all of them are in my electrum wallet, I had some in my copay phone wallet also but I moved them because I was having problems with it.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sent coins to wallet I lost the password to. on: January 31, 2016, 02:11:42 PM
The whole point of your security was to make this wallet unbreakable, so i am 99.9% sure it cant be done,

Exactly this. I don't think you'll be seeing those coins again, unless ofcourse you somehow recover the file that contained the password because that long a password can't be remembered or brute forced, don't know what the guy who's trying to do that is thinking.

If you are using online wallet just check it in your pc. There is one paper wallet while you initially start the wallet you can get that. If not due to security concern we can't find out the password as it is.

What exactly are you talking about? I am confused.

Oh and btw, I am not the one who lost the coins, if you read the OP, you'll know who he is and what actually happened.
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some hard truth about Satoshi's identity on: January 30, 2016, 06:31:27 PM
Pretty sure when he mentions "we", he is referring to, either the miners/general users/community, don't think it means it was group of people but that's just my opinion.

I am confused, what is the point of all this?

Apparently, this will help closing down the location.
459  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Paidbitcoin = stay away on: January 30, 2016, 05:55:10 PM
Hi,

Stay away from Paidbitcoin.

That site is full of intrusive windows and even one who try to block your computer.

Block the adress :

http://paidbitco.in/

Is this scam or have malware/virus ?

Not malware I think, but full of windows (pop-ups) despite google chrome configuration.
One window with warning "pc blocked".

Site is malicious, stay as far away as possible. One of those pop-ups you mentioned must have been a malware, scan you pc and/or do a format.

Let's for one minute say that what you're saying is correct, that Satoshi was not a person but a group of people and it is a government project, what did they expect to achieve with it?

And as far as his writing is concerned, maybe Satoshi hired a few people to do certain jobs and one of those jobs was to write a paper on it professionally and he then hired few proof readers, who could have been from UK/USA and must have edited a few things according to them.
