1121  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: EasyBalance : Get balance of list of bitcoin addresses on: July 14, 2015, 03:03:09 AM
Hey you made my day, look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1120447.0

This is exactly what I was looking for and actually came to this section to request someone to make something like this and I found this Smiley It works flawlessly, I just tried to check balance of bunch of addresses and had no problems with it at all. Thank you so much.

You should put it on a small domain and put some advertisements, I think this is really usable. One more API I can suggest is Blocktrail.com

You know what other app I think will be great which maybe you can develop as your next project, a 'TX Fee adviser' people are always struggling with how much fee they need for a transaction, an app where one can add input addresses and output addresses and the amount of bitcoin one needs to send and hit enter and it would tell how much is the advised fee for this transaction would be brilliant.

Send you a small tip  Wink

i dont think theres an easy way of doing this, if there is, i havent heard of the service that offers it. only thing you can really do is search up the addresses one by one; someone asked a similar question some weeks ago.

I think I found it.

http://www.satoshiquiz.com/easybalance/easybalance.html Cheesy

And it works really well.

This is where I found it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1121072.0
Thx to him. Smiley
1123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Get balance of bunch of Bitcoin addresses?? on: July 14, 2015, 02:48:50 AM
i wanted to this myself for my addresses but couldn't find any working application that i could use.
i know of couple of options (not exactly what you want though).

i think it was "shorena" who posted an app in java that you could check the balance of multiple addresses. but you have to replace the API
search the forum for this one or ask him if he remembers.

How do I add addresses to blockchain info's watch only? Don't I need to add the keys for that? And it would be same for electrum I think.

The blockonomics site works but like I said I have to enter the addresses one at a time and it's a pain in the ass to do that with lots of addresses. I'll try and contact shorena for a solution. Thx

Try this links:
http://bitref.com
https://goochain.net/
Also DuckDuckGo.com can do that, just paste your address and will show your current balance.

bitref doesn't works, I tried adding multiple addresses with + in between them as suggested by them but nothing happens, goochain and duckduckgo, again no way of entering many addresses at once.

I just can't believe there is no apps for this, there are so many block explorers to check balance of an address but none of them have a feature to add addresses in bulk and view their balance.
1124  Other / Beginners & Help / Get balance of bunch of Bitcoin addresses?? on: July 13, 2015, 11:25:27 AM
I can't seem to find a way, I have a list of addresses, what I want is basically to be able to copy all these addresses at once and paste them somewhere and see their respective balances, I did found a site but one has to put the addresses one by one and it's not so easy to do that with 50-100 addresses, so is there an easy way to do this??

More info: These addresses are not in any wallet but they're on a notepad.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion about Wimbledon 2015 on: July 12, 2015, 05:22:28 PM
Djokovic did it, he is the Wimbledon Champion again and I have never seen Federer play this bad, may be it was nerves which got to him but his unforced errors were huge today and no control on his serves at all, I think he got lucky with one Set which he won in Tie-Break or else it would have been clean sweep.

Would it be a problem if I put deposit address of a bet to other bet's payout address? For ex.

Let' say I am betting on a soccer event which starts at 1:00 AM and there's a Tennis event that starts at 5:00 AM, so what I do is put the deposit address of the tennis event to Soccer bet's payout address and put my own address on Tennis bet's payout.

And so if I win the soccer bet the money goes to Tennis event and if I win that I get my money in my wallet. Is there a problem with doing this? apart from the fact that odds might be different and I would have to use flexible odds option for the tennis bet so it wouldn't get rejected?
1127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Raise the minimum transaction fee on: July 11, 2015, 09:06:22 AM
Miners are getting greedy and though we pat ourselves that BTC is decentralized and is not dependent on others like Banking systems are but without confirmations no one would accept any transaction and we ultimately rely on them to get our transactions confirmed.

And today we are thinking of raising the fee to 0.0005, tomorrow even that might not be enough for hungry mining farms and then we raise it 0.001 .. 0.002 .. and so on. And when the reward halves, what will be the fee then??

let's hope the match today will be crazy like Wawrinka vs Gasquet  Grin
picking the winner today is absolutely hard so I think I'm not going to be on the money line
but I have a feeling that every set will have more than 8.5gems , so maybe I'm going to bet that

Which game today? today its just the WTA finals and doubles and mixed doubles.

Yeah those are the only matches today, the Men's Single final is tomorrow and I'll put my money on Federer again, if he plays like he did against Murray it'll be another simple game for him.

Going to put some bits on Serena 2-1 and let's hope Muguruza is able to win 1 Set atleast.

I haven't used your service but it looks good. I mostly purchase Btc from a local seller whom I met on LBC but he sometimes is not available and if that happens in future, I'll give your site a shot and see how it goes.

Are you not worried about the chargeback with using skrill?

I think Virwox offers Skrill exchange too.

I doubt there will be any surprises tomorrow in the mens semi finals. If you're looking for good odds I'd look into maybe betting on Murray vs Federer to go to 5 sets. Maybe look into Gasquet winning a set, he's unlikely to beat Djokovic but there could be a decent chance for him to win 1 set maybe. The odds for Djokovic to win will be too small to bother & Federer vs Murray winner is too close to call. If I was betting on these semi finals I'd be looking outside the box.

I concur but I still placed few bits on Federer. I think he will beat Murray in 4 sets at most with 3-1. Same with Djokovic.

1136  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 08, 2015, 08:34:34 AM
Another thing you can add is, you can keep 1-100000 worth of Bitcoins in your home safe from theft, you can't do the same with cash.

The way I see it, Bitcoin gives us the true freedom of currency. We are not dependent upon any system to use our money. So it basically is and always will be BTCFREEDOMBTC

Well we are dependent on Mining farms and let's hope there are no more stress tests as they really disrupt things.
1137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 0 confirmation after 36h with fee on: July 08, 2015, 08:20:47 AM
Hello,

This transaction is stuck for more than 36h now and I don't know why as there are fees for it.
https://blockchain.info/fr/tx/f8750cdba7ba652ce49785c853d0c91750185c14a04f6cde3e5b14b3ba0393d1

As it is destinated to bitmixer.io which recipient adress is only valid for 12h ( support raised it to 36h which are now elapsed ) I'm worried.

What will happen if it is confirmed while bitmixer address is not valid anymore ?  Cry

thanks in advance,

Write to their support, tell them the transaction is not confirmed to due to stress test and it needs more time. I hope you have the "Letter of Guarantee" you may be asked to provide that.

Nevermind it just took an extremely long time and the address was different that I remembered sorry for wasting anyone's time. I have already to lost btc twice in teh past hour. Tried to use a scam btc to paypal site. Sorry. The address also wasnt static so it had changed.

How are you losing BTC, what exactly are you trying to accomplish? If you tell us in detail if it is not a problem we might be able to help you not lose your Bitcoins. If you're looking to convert your BTC to Paypal then I would suggest you *not to*, you'll end up getting scammed through cashback.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion about Wimbledon 2015 on: July 07, 2015, 02:05:40 PM
I hope Anderson has a good rest & powers past Djokovic in that 5th set. I think Anderson needed that rest as Djokovic had just won 2 sets in a row. If the 5th set was played yesterday I think Djokovic would have just won it easily. Anderson will be so much more dangerous after a good rest.

I want Murray to win Wimbledon this year so it'd be a massive positive for his chances if Djokovic gets knocked out. The thing is Djokovic never knows when he's beaten & unfortunately I think he'll find a way to win that 5th set.

haha, i wanna murray win too, but Djokovic beat anderson in 5th set, but djokovic's form is bad, at least murray could beat him if djokovic still has yesterday's form against anderson, there is no doubt that murray or federer will defeat yesterday's djokovic easily.

True that, he doesn't looks to be in too good of a form after his performance from this match but you still have to give it to him, he was down 2 sets and he came back and won the match. But I didn't liked his attitude today, he lost a point after a big rally and the ball boys/girls were late to bring him his towel between points and he yelled like a complete idiot.
