961  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: directbet scammed me !! on: September 10, 2015, 11:26:06 AM
Well I bet there a lot and so far have never faced any problems but *if* what you're saying is right OP then it is a big concern because I just searched that BET ID myself and it says "There is no such bet recorded in our system." which is a really serious issue, I guess it'd be a good practice to make archive.is webshots of the webpage after making bets because if for some reason they vanish, you'd have no way of proving that the bet was made.

Did you entered an email when you made that bet OP? Because if you did then you would have received an email which would serve as another proof. But don't worry, as per me, they're a legit site and if this is a glitch then they'll resolve it soon.

@ndnhc I had a similar issue once with one of my bets, the event was over and I had won but the bet remained unsettled, so I just emailed them and they told me that they were having some issues and they settled the bet immediately.

@twister I don't earn by killing people so I don't expect that they will scam me..but I am shocked to see no bet till now..even the address is missing.
I don't know what to do..I didn't entered my email but entered my xapo wallet address.
I.don't think there is xapo issue as for some instant of time my bet was shown as confirmed but as lost and in another instance there were no bets..it completely vanished.
I panicked when I saw I lost.
It's big amount for me.

Do you by any chance use a VPN/Tor or something? I am just wondering if you were a victim of MITM attack.

Wawrinka vs Anderson & Federer vs Gasquet today. I think Feder will cruise past Gasquet pretty easily but tge other game is too close to call, normally I'd say Wawrinka would win but after Anderson's performance vs Murray it could be him who wins.

I'm not going to bet on either match.

The big matches has the best odds and you're gonna let this opportunity pass? Just pick and make play, I am going to go with Wawrinka on this one, Anderson plays well and have defeated Wawrinka in the past but he's still a very tough opponent and I think he'll be able to get through and for the other one, I will pick Federer, although I think Gasquet has a fair chance. And for the Ladies, I'll go with Azarenka and Pannetta.
964  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to promote bitfortip.com. Send me a private message with your offer. on: September 09, 2015, 12:43:34 PM

Promotion for what exactly? Signature, off-the-forum promotion or just naming "your site is best" bla..bla.

I think it could be any way you wish to promote it, that is what OP is asking for, you tell you way of promoting it and with it the price you're willing to do it for and if he likes it, you guys can make a deal and that's that.

And so if you want to promote it on the forum by wearing the sig you can offer him that but he's probably looking for deals like, make post elsewhere on reddit or twitter or fb or other forums. And I think it's best if you promote it only after using it atleast once  so you would know what it's like. I have used it so I will make an offer to OP in PM and see if he likes it.

Are players required to provide their IDs etc. to play? I am at sign up page and I read something at the bottom which says something along the lines that players are required to verify their identity, location and nation of residence prior to making the first deposit. I want to confirm this before even making an account because I won't be able to provide any of that and I wouldn't want to deposit and risk my funds being stuck there for the lack of the same.

Our concern is that we cannot take American players. If you are not in the USA then in general you don't have to worry about this. However, we do reserve the right to ask for ID in some circumstances. If our system flags you for an ID check it would usually be before you would even be able to join a freeroll, let alone make a deposit. In any case, you do not have to deposit to play in a freeroll.

We do not freeze player deposits. However, if you are physically located in the US and try to play through a VPN, then you should expect to be asked for ID and if it doesn't check out, then yes, you can expect to have your winnings nullified.

As long as you're not coming from the US, you're fine. Hope that clears it up.

I see, so the rule is there to not let US players play but if you get suspicious of someone then you might ask from them to provide their credentials and if they can't then they're done and they won't be able to access their accounts until and unless they play along. I guess it's fair because you have to conduct your business under the legal terms but usually most of the poker players/gamblers are from their so it will be hard to fill up the tables without no US players.

Dice is also like a lottery, instant lottery if you think about it and it has a very low house edge, it's instant, you can play many times within a minute and it's provably fair, now think why would someone want to buy a lottery ticket and wait for the withdrawal when it can be done in so many dice sites instantly?

You are probably thinking the reason why people buy the national lottery and it's because it has a HUGE prize and it costs nothing compared to the prize offered. But this is nothing compared to that and people won't be interested in it at all.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 08, 2015, 09:30:20 AM
England has to win today or the series is gone and they wouldn't want that so I'll put a little on them today because it's do or die situation for them and here are my predictions for today's match.

Toss: Australia, they'll choose to bat first.
Top Aussie Batsman: Aaron Finch
Top English Batsman: Alex Hales
Most Sixes: England
England: to win the Match

970  Economy / Gambling / Re: CMDbit - A command line designed dice game! on: September 07, 2015, 11:37:54 AM
I get bored clicking "roll" when playing dice and you expect people to type these commands to play, change multiplier, go up or down etc.? Good Luck..

So, this is my first release using Moneypot's api. If you have any idea on how I could improve to game, plz let me know, I'd be glad to hear your ideas!

Add a user friendly interface, get a small Wink domain and last but not the least make something other than a dice.

I do not know this image  Sad

Could be a Cow. Next time do this, download the image and if you can't download directly, just go to page info and there you'll find all the images in Media tab and then upload the same to google image search and it will show you similar images which might give you an idea what the image is of. You can do all that for 0.000025, can you not? Roll Eyes

Ow by the time you do that the captcha might get expired and you might have to start again but it's all worth the effort. Cheesy

973  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallets for Windows Phone? on: September 05, 2015, 05:59:09 PM
try to contact coinbase/blockchain for making some wallet for windows phone..  Grin

Blockchain afaik had a windows wallet at one point and it supposedly did had all the features of the site but it was taken off from the store, not sure why but it probably had some vulnerabilities and coinbase I don't know/think they would do that because let's face it, there aren't many people who use windows phone in the first place and out of the ones who do there are very few who know and use bitcoins.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 05, 2015, 05:52:18 PM
England 245/all this is the result of another bad decision taken by English team.Australia took full advantage of the invitation to bat first given by England's team. This is another defeat of English by big margin.

Actually the decision to field was right because England have no good bowlers, they have a huge batting line up and it is really shameful for them that they can't even chase a 300 + total on their home grounds in 50 overs, which by today's cricket standard is nothing. But they're missing a good batsman which is Joe Root and if he was in both the matches, the result might have been different.

Well, I hope she will host a giveaway then, i don't think she is so selfish to don't give love to her community.

LOL, yeah that's the best proof there is, right? But maybe she already did a giveaway to her friends and family members and I guess in the end it all comes down to Luck. Some gamblers are just lucky, I saw a guy on old PD by mistake hit max bet and at that time he was doing 10x with small bets and had 1.6 btc in his wallet and it hit, and he saw his balance increased to 16 BTC and he couldn't believe it and he typed in the chat "WTF just happened" and punters was like you made 16 btc lol and he did huge rains and then took a big chunk out. But me, I am really unlucky when it comes to winning. Congratz to her.

But you're right, if she's active on this forum, she should come and do a big giveaway.

The most amazing part of this story is:
A girl is actually using Bitcoins.  Grin
Gambles with Bitcoins.
And even wins more Bitcoins.

PS: the story is legit cq bitStarz is a legit site I dare to trust

Cheesy Cheesy That's sexist, dude. And I think she deposited and won Euros not Bitcoin.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's welcome the stress test on: September 04, 2015, 02:04:16 PM
That LAST thing we need at the moment is another stress test.

Anyone conducting such an experiment at this point in time is either misguided are intentionally harming Bitcoin.

The XT guys are so keen on proving that they are right that they'll continue doing these stress tests even if that ends up harming bitcoin, they see that they might not win the consensus and so they're like if we don't win, no one wins. Let's hope that OP's theory is right and that it ends helping bitcoin by increasing it's price but I doubt it will happen, like last time we're going to see a lot of stuck up transactions with correct fee and it will make a lot of people angry when some of their important transactions get stuck due to this.

Aussies to win  Smiley

So lost the prediction of the Steve smith as best batsman but Aussies did win like I said they will, so 3 out of 4 is not so bad. Wink

England Vs Australia 1st Odi

England will have benefit of Home Ground and with the latest series Winning , they are favrites and highly boosted team,  so In my prediction today England will keep their winning  spririt. and will try to win this 1st odi to put more pressure on Australia .

They are not the favorites of the bookies but even without the Home advantage, on book today England to me seems like a more balanced team with a very deep Batting line up and most of them seem to be in form while Australia have some great hitters on their side but many of them haven't been performing very well in recent past but I would still not rule them out. ODIs are different and any team batting first will have to put up a huge total and for that they'd have to bat till the end.

My predictions for the Match, Australia to win the Toss, They'll choose to bat first, Steve smith is always safe to bet on and Australia to win the Match.  Tongue
980  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinBlackjack.com - The BEST Odds BTC Blackjack on the net! on: September 03, 2015, 09:44:56 AM
The minimum bet is 1mBTC? I don't play BJ too much but I was thinking of giving this a shot until I saw that the minimum bet and I think it should be 0.1 mBTC, it gives people a chance to test the site and build their strategies, you can restrict the deposit/withdrawal to minimum 1mBTC but let them play 10k Sats bets. Even the biggest High-Rollers when Martingaling or doing other strategies start from very small bets, you can see them on Dice sites and with bet size reduced I think there won't be any need to add a faucet.
