141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchange tokens or Crypto Wallet Tokens?? on: May 30, 2024, 05:42:24 PM

exchange token is somewhat like being manipulated. if it's still alive in the memory of the crypto traders, FTT went down from $73 to less than $1. so if an exchange like Bitget suddenly just comes out of nowhere and then adds lots of coins, it wouldn't be crazy to believe this is something the same as FTX.

and then the coming regulation/bill that crypto wallets going to be asking for KYC, it might just be a warning to you before considering to use the wallet.
this makes me think of just using the one exchange where i have submitted my data.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden team shift their tones on Bitcoin & cryptocurrency market on: May 30, 2024, 04:34:19 PM

they race to win the presidency so taking the safer route to get votes will be what's best for the two. congress however are doing everything to submit bills that are not going to help the crypto holders. in time and whichever wins this election, they will still approve those bills like custodial wallets will be asking KYC to its users for tax purposes. in the end, it's just like saying something good for crypto but doing the exact opposite.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kabosu (Doge) passed away. on: May 30, 2024, 06:33:43 AM
RIP Kabosu. been days since he is dead but i think there was a mention of his death in the Doge thread. in altcoinstalk, they changed the logo everything theres a meaninglful things happen so its hard to miss such details.

here in BTT, some users may even be surprised to know that doge is actually a real dog and his name is Kabosu. if Shib is derived from doge, i guess Shib is still him.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are undervalued in 2024? on: May 30, 2024, 06:28:30 AM
This is al time ADA chart. The coin has been dumping so crazily. it seems ADA will never reach that the new ATH again. This blockchain is so fucking boring. It keeps lose its users, the daily activity on the blockchains have been declining so hard. Impossible for ADA to recover again like 2021 bullrun.

ADA holders must be so dump enough to keep hold their coins while so many coins are increasing drastically. I think that many people are also aware about this coin is nothing happening with ADA.

The problem with ADA is that it's quite slow in terms of development and innovation. It's not as overhyped as Solana or Ethereum. Because of this, ADA has been unable to reach a new ATH in price. At least, Cardano is more reliable and decentralized than Solana. It can compete directly against Ethereum if developers keep it that way.

With ETFs taking the crypto world by storm, it's possible we'll see Cardano ETFs in the future. The sky is the limit to how far will the cryptocurrency go. Hopefully, people recognize the hidden potential in undervalued coins someday.  Undecided

Charles has to.open the cardano for USDT whales, those companies like Tether and Circle wants control of their stablecoin. if Charles is not allowing them because of his belief in decentralization, ADA may really have a slow crawl to its higher price per token.

it may also have a hard time getting ETFs. but i do think ADA is also undervalued.

145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEER 🍻 MEMECOIN, will this narrative fly? on: May 29, 2024, 09:07:13 PM

whatever pops in there if the meme party sees it's worth funding, it could be profitable. but maybe this time you should be choosing the popular memecoins only. you are the only one who knows this BEER yet. the team is just selling all those tokens from their wallet from the blind investors buying this new memecoin.

if you have millions to billions of memecoins, you probably should stop already.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: UK brexit and rejoin with Europe and economy on: May 29, 2024, 04:51:35 PM
It was bad move go out of Europe.
It's not that simple. The only thing you can say for sure is that things didn't go according to plans.

You have to go back to pre-Brexit time. They were already planning to start the war with Russia according to US orders. So UK needed to get out of EU to decrease the effects of that war on EU members' economies. They were basically hoping to not experience an economic and energy crisis of their own while entire EU did. Then later on they could come back to EU as the "victors" and take the leadership and revive a tiny part of the dead "empire" that way.

Little did they know UK would experience the same economic and energy crisis as the rest of the EU even when they existed the coalition. On top of that they experienced more crisis due to the exit itself.
This is why things didn't go according to plan and now it seems like a bad move.

there is no escape to this economic and energy crisis as it seems made up and they are making it worse with all the wars. they are not even sanctioned. but it looks like Brexit is part of the plan for this coming crisis after all. Geographically, the UK is like Taiwan for the EU. in case the EU responds in a manner that doesn't follow orders, i guess the independence of the UK comes in handy.

i don't know if it's possible to rejoin. not all country has the freedom to do what they want. my country has independence day but still no freedom.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Marketing Strategies in the Digital Age on: May 29, 2024, 04:25:19 PM

while we are at this thread.
may i just ask why is it that projects and casinos keep advertising here in bitcointalk and other crypto forums when they should be advertising somewhere else after all crypto is already becoming mainstream?  don't you think it's about time to spread the wings and fly away?  Grin  and i mean if i own a casino/bookmaker. it would make sense to advertise in sports forum, right?
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in crypto world on: May 29, 2024, 04:07:42 PM

there were already lots of them in crypto. some are even YouTubers which is quite impressive especially when they know exactly what is going on politically and some scandals in crypto especially with SEC involvement. there are a few that i subscribed especially Laura Shin.

if girls are users in this forum, however, i have some doubts about them. maybe there are really girls in the forum but announcing it seems suspicious enough,  Grin
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme Coins Resembling Lotteries in the Crypto Space on: May 29, 2024, 02:56:47 PM

this is already happening in every narrative, when AI tokens are starting, more p&d AI tokens are created too but there are just a few people interested in AI tokens. more people are going for fun tokens such as as memes coins that's why this narrative has been getting steady for years. it must have been 2 cycles already but more people are going for it. easy money is attractive to short-term traders, it's just what it is now for we gamble all the time with them.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you do TA on alt coins? I do it on BTC and trade market sentiment on alts. on: May 29, 2024, 04:37:44 AM

most probably true. i have tried trading SOV/USDT. its RSI shows how much oversold this token even in the longer time frame, its rise is still suppressed by how BTC reacts in its market.

i sold all my SOV almost just a month of looking how it depriciates while BT  still move sideways jist as it is this week.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin - Memecoins Like Pepe, FLOKI and Bonk Are the Big Gainers Now on: May 28, 2024, 09:03:41 PM

SHIB still is up and maintains its position on top.  this is like the rise of memecoins actually and most probably that MAGA token that just took off up to 47.95% this week is likely going to the top 100 in a few weeks. this bull run is just going to ruin the investors who choose to be serious in picking the tokens that have desirable roadmap and usecase.

looks like the memecoins are really going to advance as the election is approaching.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: UK brexit and rejoin with Europe and economy on: May 28, 2024, 08:51:53 PM
Brexit was not the cause of the problems you highlighted or many of them being experienced in the UK. There are lots of underlying issues in different sectors which needs attending to and until those internal problems are fixed the UK will continue to experience the results of those problems.
Brexit has nothing to do with the binance issue. Binance was restricted by the UK and has been in other countries as well.

Many people belive that If UK don't rejoin again than this country will fall definately will fall those who hold UK currency better not hold it.
Rejoining the EU is not an easy task either. There are countries who have made applications several years ago and are still awaiting a positive outcome. Best to hope for is a candidate country status, but with how brexit went about even that may not be possible for another couple of years.

UK people are out of binance futures market it's very good profit and they don't get it.
Binance it's biggest exchanger you not in binance you don't exist in crypto world

UK are out of good things brexit was mistake and yes brexit was slow death of UK economy.
However If country not attractive to invrstors and for capital then economy will fall down definately.
UK was booming thanks to easy migration rules and easy ways to invest and move funds and that Made all the world to go in UK City of London when money was everywhere now the capital going out.
Those brexit political guys knows that

they know it's not good to exit but they did it anyway. leaving their friends behind is not good. that's almost exactly the analogy of it but you know geopolitics, it could be that it's not their decision.

but since the time they supported the war against Russia, they already knew the worse part was coming and then the gas pipeline exploded. the ESG is not making the EU richer. revolutions are going on there as i read the news, particularly the farmers.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the potential of $Waves? on: May 28, 2024, 07:11:33 PM

i like thier platform but you gotta sell your waves during a bear market. I've seen it dumped from $50 to $0.50 which means no one is interested in holding this token despite how long it had been existing.

i used to be an investor so if you haven't bought it yet, just move to something else. several coins on top are more worth investing and even holding for long term than this one.

Hi thanks for the reply. I'd really appreciate if you can give a few examples or tell us some of what you hold

same projects that people here are investing in. mostly BTC and some top coins. that's the usual answer, you just have to look at the list.

i'm assuming you already have $WAVES and the question is that you are just looking for validation. well, since you already have them, you might as well just hold them for now until the alt season. or maybe stake those WAVES you got. as far as i know, there are WAVES to earn upon staking. APY i believe is around 7%.

,
Many thanks for the response. Actually no, I am not invested in Waves. I was just observing the charts only and realised how popular it was back in the day among the members of this site. Like many members say it looks like a pump and dump scheme hence I won't be investing

that's just about right. disappointing that even if you hold your token for the whole cycle of crypto, WAVES will still come back to its ICO price if they all just dump the token in every bear market. this is most likely because there is no adoption of this platform. what they have is the stablecoin of their own.

and this is also the problem with crypto projects that if the USDT/USDC is not going to be in their platform, it's always going to end up as a shitcoin.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: How Do You Store Value to Offset Inflation? on: May 28, 2024, 07:00:27 PM
One thing you are forgetting is that there is no guarantee that gold or crypto or the nasdaq 100 will go up enough to keep up with inflation. It can trade sideways or worse go down.

There is something called TIPS, it stands for Treasury Inflation Protected Securitites and these are basically bonds but their coupon pays the CPI rate yearly. This way you don’t have to worry about investing in some stock which ends up losing 20% in a years time.
I think there is a guarantee, especially the physical assets like gold, because of their limited supply and they are still getting scarcer the more the new assets have been mined up. They can be volatile sometimes but this is only normal and caused by the people who are buying and selling. The price can still find its way up later on.

We only need to calm down so that we won't sell at a loss. this is my first time hearing about that TIPS but it seems it is a better solution for the inflation. It's only con is that we can only earn a moderate income from them. Another would be is they are centralized and we all know what happened to other centralized companies before.

the great advantage of gold is that even if the internet fails, it is still valuable. the bad side is that it's not easy to sell them. which is also the advantage of BTC because it's easy to sell.

everybody is worried about inflation even in my country the primetime news normally doesn't talk about inflation as if they want the public not to mind about it but this time, they seem to be updating. real property would be good too if you are up to developing the property.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: May 28, 2024, 06:32:35 PM
People want to become profitable from cryptocurrency. Some people want secure their fund cause it needs to take higher risk for higher gain that's why btc is good to be hold. Might be give you Small profit but safe. And altcoins are risky. altcoins will give you much profit. A multiple time higher than bitcoin and that's why people jump to altcoin investment but they should keep it in mind that altcoins can trun into shitcoin anytime. So make diversification, buy both btc and good altcoins for best deal
If you want to invest in cryptocurrency, you should definitely choose Bitcoin first. You can invest in Bitcoin as well as Altcoins. But try to invest mostly in bitcoins, invest a small portion in altcoins. It's not that investing in bitcoins can't earn high profits, if you can patiently hold bitcoins for a long time, you can definitely earn huge profits. Investing in altcoins is risky, holding altcoins for a long time becomes risky. Invest in Bitcoin as well as invest in the top altcoins on the market.

he started his thread back in Dec 2022 where the time that BTC touched the bottom. he could have gotten so much profit if he invested only in BTC while the altcoins prices haven't changed much. this time he could have invested in altcoins already using his profit.

most probably it's a good time to invest in altcoins because ETH ETF has been approved which some altcoins ETFs may also be approved if major institutions are filing their ETFs. its just up to OP which one he will invest.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Utility Make Memecoins More Stable? on: May 28, 2024, 03:38:56 PM
the NFTs are thier usecases. being accepted in a casino can be a good use case too for the memecoin. this is how doge started as far as i know. yes, it will make memecoins more useful but no chance of becoming stable. you'd be grateful to see it can be gambled though especially when the bear market strikes already and those who haven't sold i think can try their luck in games.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: First they ignore you: Are we (the Bitcoin/crypto users) about to win? on: May 27, 2024, 08:20:16 PM

Trump is just for memes. i don't think he really can do what he is saying. once he is already a president, he may not really be doing what was promised. all those are forgotten. maybe not all but the government is up to regulate crypto and that is always the case.

one good thing that Trump is doing is making Bitcoin known to everyone through his gatherings. the funny part is that every time he promises something about crypto, there is a crowd shouting yay! it's choreographed.
158  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Investing in DEX Tokens - See What I Discovered on: May 27, 2024, 07:27:40 PM
you gonna be an early bird investor since it's just listed in one exchange. the only way to find out whether the dex can also stand the test of time is to stick around with the exchange til it fully matures. it still looks the same as the rest of the swap platform with its Defi system.

HIVP current price is 0.05USD. it already has a huge volume in Bitget. it says 892.37K good start.  https://cryptorank.io/price/hiveswap
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Privacy on Dogecoin? on: May 27, 2024, 06:04:53 PM

if there is a demand for it, maybe there will be a doge mixer one day. there is nothing yet to be serious about doge but it's picking up though. it's still fun to keep riding the trend of this coin.

for now, you can just use other coins for your privacy. getting your doge on DEX might be an option for you, that's at least the most sensible to keep privacy.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't advice anyone to invest on Bitcoin if he doesn't have Alt. income on: May 27, 2024, 04:36:16 PM
he only remembers to invest now that he is in such situation. you remind him that he best find a job while also DCAing in BTC. a normie like him are often not a trader and may not have the patience to wait for months to a year.

having a job that supports him and his family will be best while he has something to expect like the BTC investment. BTC is something of a fall back whether he is in loss or profit, its a money he can pull out when it he needed the most.
