1441  Economy / Speculation / Re: best strategy right now : buy & hold + buy more VS buy & sell on: February 27, 2017, 01:03:12 PM
The safest strategy still is to buy hodl and buy more. You have little risk doing it. But if you can afford to lose some bitcoins, you can risk doing buy and sell. If you can time the market right, you will have plenty of profits. But if you timed it wrong and you sold on a bull  and never got back down, your money is trapped. What I do is I have some funds for long term hodl, and some funds I can play on trading.
1442  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 27, 2017, 12:58:47 PM

1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready to BUYDL on: February 27, 2017, 11:55:05 AM
I want to see OP short bitcoin to 600 and see how he will fare. So many have already short bitcoin and many have fallen thru margin call. ETF Approved or not, I am still on my position, long term hodl. I believe even if the price fall if it gets disapproved, it will  bounce back in a few months and higher price later.
1444  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Lending on: February 26, 2017, 08:23:37 AM
1445  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: What is more ideal for a bitcoin enthusiast an offline job or online job? on: February 25, 2017, 03:27:20 AM
Both. Isang full time offline job at madaming part time online jobs tulad ng signature campaign. Pero kung papiliin mo kung full time pareho, mas prefer ko full time offline jobs dahil sa mga benefits.
1446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest 10k - 20k on: February 25, 2017, 02:56:38 AM
You can buy bitcoins now but do not use all your money yet. Let's wait out what will happen on the decision about ETF. The price may go down if it gets disapproved and that is a perfect time to buy.

The decision to hold until the next halving is quite good. We saw the effect of this halving to the price last time. It may happen again and your bitcoin may give you a profit of 10 times.
1447  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: February 24, 2017, 03:22:08 PM
That educated guess gives you a higher odds to get the money though. It is better than doing a wild guess. You are not guaranteed to always win in trading, but it gives you a better chance to earn more money. But of course, if you can gain insider information,  that boost up your odds.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin Worth Is 1000000$ on: February 24, 2017, 09:32:06 AM
If everyone is holding, then the price will not move, it will be stagnant. Price develops because there is demand, there is buy and sell. But if everyone is holding, nothing moves. Even the blockchain will be useless because there is no transaction to record.
1449  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: De Lima - ARREST on: February 24, 2017, 07:05:53 AM
Kakaiba talaga magreport bias media.
1450  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: President Duterte wants to ban online gambling on: February 24, 2017, 06:54:46 AM
1451  Local / Pilipinas / Re: SA WAKAS NABASAG DIN! BAGONG BITCOIN ALL TIME HIGH IN THE MAKING! on: February 23, 2017, 08:25:29 PM
Congrats everyone.

1452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Breaking: Bitcoin OFFICIALLY breaks ATH on: February 23, 2017, 08:20:35 PM
Congratulations to all hodlers. Sorry to shorters, I hope you still have funds to avoid margin calls.

Keep holding still, the rise is not yet finished. We are still few days away from the ETF, Price may still get way higher.
1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's keep the price floating above $1k still? on: February 23, 2017, 08:06:14 PM
Curious since this is actually a bit annoying. But can anyone send a reference or source as to who/why is keeping the price of btc above 1k for this long?

*Yes I want it to fall, nothing to hide here*

Till now since I have came across knowing bitcoins I never heard a genuine reason about why the price is getting high and then low or vice versa. Only logic given to me is that the demand and supply have a difference and that's the reason.
By the way man why you want the price to get low Sad ?

Because I want to buy in more obviously, Bitcoin's price floating above $1k means it's almost not worth it to me to trade right now(Unless it rises considerably above 1k, maybe $1.3k or so but that's not going to happen)

I have some invested in Monero too. Also the price staying above 1k without any valid reason means its being manipulated and that's never a good thing.

You may get your chance to buy in a cheaper price if ETF fails to be approved on March 11. But if it gets approved, I am sorry to tell, you may not see cheap price again. Maybe your 1.3K is not that hard to achieve when everything goes right regarding ETF.
1454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Surpass All-Time High While We Wait for the ETF? on: February 23, 2017, 04:34:08 PM
It is just a few dollars away from surpassing the ATH set in 2013. I don't think the price hike is going to stop anytime soon. The hype due to ETF on March 11 is driving the price really high. I think, we will see a new ATH anytime soon. After March 11, is another question. If it gets approve or not may have drastic effect on bitcoin price. We should prepare for that.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC overtake gold this month ? on: February 23, 2017, 03:53:36 PM
If it don't happen this month, it will certainly happen next month. The hype of ETF is driving the price high. People are ignoring the fact that transactions are stuck and already 100K unconfirmed. There are still too much hype regardless. So I think it will really surpass the price of gold.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LocalBitcoins !!!! 80 HOURS to confirm !!!! on: February 23, 2017, 09:57:03 AM
30-40 minutes is not that long. I once waited 1 day for a transaction to confirm. What I learned from this spam attacks is, bitcoin is not yet ready for the future or major adaption. 100K unconfirmed transactions is not forgivable. Bitcoin must adopt to be able to process more transactions.
1457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transactions confirmation time. on: February 23, 2017, 02:13:21 AM
The network is congested again, 100K of unconfirmed transactions is too much. This should be fixed immediately or new  bitcoin users will get frustrated waiting for their transactions to confirm.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC be the major currency ? Maths says NO on: February 22, 2017, 02:54:54 PM
Why the obsession for bitcoin replacing fiat? I am good with bitcoin being the alternative payment method. And why do the math for something that is not going to happen in our lifetime. Instead of that, let us all work together to make the block size bigger or the confirmation faster. I think that can be achieved in the near future.
1459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have found a wallet with 40 BTC on: February 22, 2017, 02:40:35 PM
When i have time, i send a picture of my wallet.

Tip: Search on Pastebin by "bitcoin adress" sometimes you find working private keys.

Best Regards!

You have time to post this, I am sure you have time to paste the address and post the image. It won't take that much time. Prove what you're telling is true and people will stop treating you as a joke.

+1 for android wallet or mobile wallet. It is needed so if you buy thousands of ubiq, you can store it safely. I don't want to store my ubiq in exchanges for extended period of time. I want to keep it safe.
