701  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: August 31, 2017, 01:32:15 AM
You can invest in bitcoin. It has broken the previous resistance of 4500 and is now working its way up. It can grow higher into maybe pass 5000$ in a few weeks. You can also invest in major altcoins right nkw because when bitcoin is going rapidly up, alts are down. So it is a good time to buy good alts because the price is cheaper. Maybe split you capital between bitcoin and alts.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC fees exploding and BTC will crash down on: August 31, 2017, 01:22:23 AM
This argument has already been discussed before and is already getting old.

Bitcoin will not crash just because the fee is high. If it will be the cause, it could have happened long ago because there are lots of alts with way lower tx fees. There is many uses of bitcoin. It could have failed to be a currency, but others uses is still good.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what would happen if Bitcoin the big B got split? on: August 31, 2017, 12:42:18 AM
If bitcoin split then the price will fall down and it will drive the investor away, the effect will be price falling down, and it is not good for bitcoin reputation, too much forking will make bitcoin seems like having a lot of issue, but most of the time people will be back to bitcoin again, so not too worry about this issue

This was not proven when bch split from bitcoin, in contrary, it pushed bitcoin price really high. As lolng as the other split does not offer any strong solution to current bitcoin problems, I do not think a split will coin will effect bitcoin.
704  Economy / Economics / Re: How to invest in bitcoin? on: August 31, 2017, 12:33:59 AM
I have seen many ways to earn bitcoin, and still not familiar with some of it. I am a student and I wanna ask how to invest in bitcoin, and if students like me are capable of doing that already?

Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

To invest, you have to buy some bitcoin. First, register to an exchange that allows your country, deposit some money, and buy bitcoinS. Or you can also rent your signature and get paid in bitcoin. Sign up in a signature campaign in the service section, wear their signature and they will pay you bitcoin with every quality post you make. Or read threads in alt section and see how to earn altcoins through bounties. Just by reading here in the forum you can learn a lot on how to earn or invest in bitcoin and other crypto.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Bitcoin now on: August 30, 2017, 09:32:14 PM
Never buy in bulk because you will never know if the price is at peak or not. Buy small amount today, if it dips, then buy some more. If it dips again, buy again. Just buy the dips, and you will have good profit in the future.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WAVES Conspiracy!! on: August 30, 2017, 02:31:14 PM
You are just too excited. When it comes, it will come. Most important thing is, if you really believe it, then amass some waves now while the price is still cheap. so when the price starts to rise, you will not cram to get one.
707  Economy / Speculation / Re: September 2017 coming... Thoughts? on: August 30, 2017, 02:12:40 PM
Just be patient, along the line there will be some dips happening and that will be your chance to buy more bitcoins. But do not expect it to drop too low, maybe a 10% dip can happen. It always does.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: August 30, 2017, 05:30:03 AM
If you want to reproduce the technology, then you have a lot of learning to do. You have to know how cryptography works, learn how to code and study the code base on github.
709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts about my portfolio on: August 28, 2017, 02:29:58 PM
You have a solid portfolio and well diversified. All you need to do now is be patient with your investment and know the perfect timing to get out of it. What I do with smaller coins is that I set a target sell amd sell it when it reaches that amount.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin recomended on: August 28, 2017, 02:15:48 PM
Are you looking for pump and dump coins for easy profit? You have to watch the market for those.

If you are looking for steady growth, you may look at more stable coins at the top of coinmarketcap. Maybe waves will have a growth spurt in the next six months. I go for long term so I go for nem. Slow growth by awesome devs happening behind the scene. may trigger another bull run next year.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO MORE FORKING BITCOIN on: August 28, 2017, 02:02:54 PM
There is no choice, we need to fork to improve bitcoin. Whether it is softfork or hardfork, it will still happen in the future. Let us just hope there is not too much politics invloved in the next fork that will happen.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The time is WWIII, what are our Bitcoin Doomsday Preppers doing? on: August 28, 2017, 09:46:34 AM
My life is more important than bitcoin. And I do not even know if internet will survive or the miners will continue to mine bitcoin if their country is being bomb with nuclear missiles. Bitcoin will be the last thing on my mind.
713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Recommendations on: August 28, 2017, 09:32:54 AM
What I find hard to do when doing my own research is to know what to believe and what is not. What is for real news and what is for hype or fud alone? It is not like in stock market there is already some trusted names, but in crypto, even trusted names are biased.
714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people buy etc ? on: August 28, 2017, 08:20:52 AM
Because there are still people who believe in the fundamentals of etc and that they still believe it is better than ETH. If they keep on pushing, it may even take off someday.
715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves in December! on: August 28, 2017, 08:07:23 AM
I hear some news about waves.
In December waves will 10x or more from now.

Is it true news?
need a suggestion..
Advance thanks

It depends on the source. If you could quote the source it will be easier for us to tell if you can trust it or not. Waves is doing well but I do not think it will do 10x in four months.Maybe next year it will reach 10x.
716  Other / Off-topic / Re: BITCOIN TALK USERS MOSTLY ARE??? on: August 28, 2017, 05:31:13 AM
It does not add any value if you know the exact proportion or number of men and women here. Nowadays, it does not matter if you are male or female as long as you give valuable contribution to the community.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you guys withdraw your bitcoins to cash? on: August 27, 2017, 01:33:23 PM
Luckily there is coins.ph in our country. It makes exchanging bitcoin into local currency easy and withdrawing it a breeze. We can choose from instant cash to bank deposits.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (BCH) Bitcoin Cash: 8 hours 1 block on: August 27, 2017, 01:20:31 PM
what do you expect from this coin. everything is fabricated. the price is being pumped by whales. difficulty reduced to attract miners and still failed to be in par with bitcoin.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCC Future! on: August 26, 2017, 03:36:43 AM
So far though BCC has higher value than Ethereum but Ethereum's popularity is far superior, and I'm sure for the next 2 years ETH will be able to compete with BCC if the BCC dev team does not dare to take speculative action for its market.

I believe it is just pumped that is why it have higher value right now. I still do not believe it will be able to sustain itself but I can be wrong. Only time can tell if bch will continue to flourish in the future.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long do you hold? on: August 26, 2017, 03:23:28 AM
How long do you hold your coins?
Some coins I have a couple of months like Sia.
Some years like Ripple

I have been holding NEM for a year now and I am still continually buying it. It made a bull run early this year so I made some 5x profit from it already. Not that big but I do believe NEM have great potential in the future.
