721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High transaction fees ! on: August 26, 2017, 03:12:14 AM
It can't be help when somebody is sabotaging the network. Unconfirmed  transaction is rising again thus the tx fee is also rising. I do not think moving to bch or any alts that have faster confirmation and lower fee is a solution either. They have that now because it does not have that much transaction yet.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 26, 2017, 02:59:30 AM
I think Bitcoin in Asia is becoming more popular. It is because most of the people are treating it as a means of living, I know a couple of people who gets their daily needs through his income in bitcoin whether it'd be joining campaigns in this forum or through profits from trading. They really treat it as a job at home honestly speaking.

There are a lot of third world countries in Asia, that is why. Even small paying campaign can mean a lot when converted into fiat here in Asia. That is why you see a lot of signature campaigners and bounty hunters coming from Asian countries because it is already a good income for some of us.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: many ICO altcoin , What can be trusted? on: August 26, 2017, 02:46:41 AM
Now a lot of ico altcoin project , do projects that can be trusted . This makes i doubt to participate campaign bounty .
Please tell me friend , how saw projects altcoin can be trusted ?

You have to research the project itself. Visit their website, follow social media pages, join their slack  and know their developers and supporters. It is hard work, but if you find the right one,  you will have good profit. But even if everything seems good, it is still risk buying ICO or joining their bounty.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 26, 2017, 02:23:26 AM
We may see the preview of Eastern Finals since Celtics and Cavs will meet on Opening night. This will be an exciting game to watch. We will see how Kyrie will lead the celtics against his previous teammates.

The first match of NBA will be a one sided match. Imagine boston traded many important players in their team for a self centered player like Kyrie Irving. I'm sure that we can see that Cavs will slaughter boston.

Pretty exciting to see what Kyrie would do to carry a team pretty much on his own.

Yes, we have talked so much negative about Kyrie not able to carry to team. Let us know see if he can carry this Celtics because the argument that he is too green to lift Cavs before does not carry any weight anymore for him. He has in this league for long and now he needs to prove his detractors wrong.

Now is his chance to prove them all wrong. We will see this season if Kyrie can be a good leader that the boston can build a team around. And Kyrie is still very young, he can still improve a lot. We know he can score, he just needs to develop his leadership.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin allowed in North Korea ? on: August 26, 2017, 02:14:16 AM
I do not think there are north koreans involved in bitcoin. Everything there is censored so it is impossible that people will learn anything about bitcoin. And even if they have bitcoin if they cannot spend it in their own country, it is practically useless.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about them WAVES!!?? on: August 26, 2017, 01:16:16 AM
Waves are going up and will go up. I bought at 2,5 and they once were like 10 dollars each. Hope they go back there soon.

It may still go back to that price, maybe more. I am noticing there are growing numbers of ICO based on waves, so that should mean something in terms of price of waves in the future. If those ICO succeed and the projects really evolve into something great, that will be great for waves too.
727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: August 26, 2017, 01:11:20 AM
Some people just participate in the bounties and wait for few years. they don't sell their bounty rewards for low fiat reward. Ironically those people become FIAT millionaires. Cheesy
Thx for bounties! Good jewelry.

Last I knew, patience is still a virtue. Unlike many bounty hunters who choose to dump their bounties almost right after they receive them, those who hold and wait for a little longer are gaining more. I am doing the same.  Wink

Yes, that will work for some coins. There are really good coins that will appreciate in value over time. But there are also some coins that is just good for quick money. Maybe it depends on what coin you are keeping and what you are dumping immediately.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to deploy investment? on: August 26, 2017, 12:28:05 AM
I would have a piece of everything you have said if I were you. Diversifying your portfolio is a good thing. But I am not big on SiaCoin. I prefer NEM if you want to invest for long term on it. It is still very cheap and it is predicted to rise to 1$ this year.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't regret take action now! on: August 26, 2017, 12:00:54 AM
Because of the success of early adopters of bitcoin, everyone thinks that crypto is make you rich thing. But that is also the thinking of the scam coins out there. They know there will be lots of investors in their scam coins because everyone want to be like the early adopters of bitcoin. The problem is there is already too many coins that it is already too hard to choose the right one to invest.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Earning with bounties campaigns on: August 25, 2017, 11:40:24 PM
The easiest to do is social media campaigns like facebook, twitter, youtube, slack because you can join multiple campaigns at a time and usually there is no restriction in ranks. Signature bounty campaigns have restrictions in ranks and you cannot switch to multiple bounties because you have to wear the signature. It is pretty much profitable and easy to do that is why I think there is so many joining them lately.
731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price by December? on: August 25, 2017, 09:31:51 PM
Maybe above 5000$ but not higher than 8000$. I am just guessing here. It is near to 5000 already so bitcoin can easily reach that within the next 4 months. And I do not believe it can get higher than 8k, at least not within this year.

This should be moved to speculation.
732  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Taking much fees? on: August 25, 2017, 09:21:59 PM
Firstly, bitcoin transaction fees are really high right now (the average fee is $7) so if you set the fee too low, the transaction might get stuck.
https://bitcoinfees.21.co/

Anyways, if you can create your transaction manually by going to https://www.coinb.in/#newTransaction
First, load the address from which you are going to send the coins.
Then, enter the outputs. One of the outputs can be your own address.
The difference between the inputs and the outputs are the fees.

After you submitted the transaction, go to electrum's console (view => show console)
and put in this code:
Code:
signtransaction("rawtransactiongoeshere")
Finally, copy the numbers after the "hex" and put it in this code:
Code:
broadcast("hexcodegoeshere")

Please not. that you might have to set a password to your wallet for this function to work. At least I haven't gotten certain functions to work without setting a password. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2100858.0

How that possible to take 131$ fees to send my btc !!!
I will leave this wallet after sending my btc to blockchain.

Do not blame the wallet, it is just giving you an approximate  of how much the network transaction cost. You can edit the fee and set it to the minimum if  you want, only it will take longer to confirm. Also,  your input maybe too large that is why you have large fees.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What a bloodbath... on: August 25, 2017, 06:51:40 PM
It seems bitcoin is trying to break the 4500 mark again and it is greatly affecting altcoins, again. Like everyone said, it is good news because you can buy your favorite altcoins cheaper this time.
734  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dark cloud above the bulls. on: August 25, 2017, 06:46:18 PM
Just every time I see kwukduck make a post, the price of bitcoin goes up. Just right now it is back to 4400+.

Remember it's just a matter of time before the news of the November hard fork hits mainstream media and people will start panic selling.
If panic selling happens, let it be. It is just more opportunity to have more bitcoin.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: August 25, 2017, 06:13:22 PM

Done. Supported NEM.

Check out the new NEM Homepage.

www.nem.io

Sleek design. I love the clouds but a little bit slow to load on my mobile using mobile data. Maybe it is just me and my connection.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt coin will gain most value in 2017? on: August 25, 2017, 06:06:42 PM
Voted for NEM. I strongly believe in this cryptocurrency and the devs behind it. It have a good road map and soon it will be releasing catapult. It is not being hyped and its growth is generic.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 25, 2017, 06:02:03 PM
It is getting popular in my country and not only bitcoin but other cryptocurrency as well. And we know that Japan legalized bitcoin and China is a major bitcoin mining location. So I say it is pretty popular in Asia.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] CombiCoin - OFFICIAL BOUNTY THREAD [ICO START SEPTEMBER 1, 2017] on: August 25, 2017, 05:39:05 PM
Question on twitter and facebook bounty? How many stakes do we get for every retweets and share?
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties - how do they work? on: August 25, 2017, 04:53:52 PM
For most of the bounties for ICOs, they offer stakes for promoting their product on social medias and wearing signature here in bitcointalk. There is an allotted budget for each bounty and stake is like a percentage of how much you can get on the end of the campaign.

Bounties can also be risky. Sometimes it is profitable, sometimes not that much.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: August 25, 2017, 04:48:07 PM
It is not for everyone. Some cannot hold long term their bounties because they have immediate needs and their salary from work in bounties support them. And also, some coins do not appreciate in value over time. It is still taking great risk holding an unproven coin.
