481  Economy / Economics / Re: Is an economy without physical money safe for the poorest? on: September 29, 2017, 06:40:07 PM
It would be the same situation when it was still all fiat. Nothing would have change with how the economy would be running except if it is in crypto, the government will not be able to control the inflation or deflation rate of the currency.
482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to withdraw huge amounts? on: September 29, 2017, 04:45:36 PM
There is limit in withdrawing amount in any exchanges. It would depend on the information you submit and to some exchange the length of time you have been using their service. And if you also deposit that large amount in any banks, you will be flagged. Then you have to report it or you can be accused of money laundering. Which is very bad for you. I advise if you have that much money in bitcoin you have to be careful in withdrawing it
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In your opinion, whats wrong with the current Crypto-Community? on: September 29, 2017, 03:44:27 PM
There is too many scams and scammers empowered by the nature of crypto. Anonymity creates this community where scammers can freely generate new coins, start an ICO and earn instant money from there. Or creating hype or FUD and earning from the negative effects it creates.
484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin phased out on: September 29, 2017, 02:38:04 PM
What if someone creates a better digital currency? Will bitcoin be phased out? And how likely  is it for that to happen?

You can never rule out that possibility. Like everything else, something old can be replaced by something better. That can happen to bitcoin too. But I do not thing bitcoin will lose all its value when it happens. It will retain some value because there will still be loyal users.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: September 29, 2017, 01:56:44 PM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.

It is a risky market. Participate at your own risk because not all of this ICO are real projects. Some of them are just scams to make quick money. There are good projects in ICO but you have to choose wisely.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Fork: BitcoinGold. GPU Mining on: September 29, 2017, 11:40:51 AM
I do not see any added value by this project. Is this just an attempt to get free money just like what happened with bitcoin cash? This is a bad trend if hf keeps happening to bitcoin.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: there is an event whether later on 30 september on: September 29, 2017, 11:24:07 AM
I think this is already accounted in the last price drop. It is either investors have already transferred to a new exchange outside china or they are holding their bitcoins in their own wallet. I do not see any price development but going up by now.
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: September 29, 2017, 07:36:22 AM
China ban ico  and also try to ban bitcoin. As a result bitcoin dumping and price 3000$ below. Now bitcoin again hit 4000$+ now .Bitcoin can 5000$ before november? I want to hold my bitcoin  plz give me your predict?

HOLD. If it does not get there by November, it will get there soon. Maybe early 2018, and it can go way above that price. Do not worry about bitcoin banned on some countries or banning ICO, it can effect the price but it cannot hold it back forever. If wi eventually pump up.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: September 28, 2017, 05:10:25 PM
We have to be picky or at least put an effort to know the project you are joining or investing on. You do not want to waste your time and money following a dead project or a scam project. It should be a priority to know the project by reading whitepaper and knowing if the project have real life application.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Confideal official bounty campaign on: September 28, 2017, 04:58:46 PM
Where can I find information about this token? Whitepaper, Website, ANN thread? A little information about the token and the project would be nice.
491  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: September 28, 2017, 04:54:57 PM
Maybe most will choose bittrex now because Poloniex have a lot of problems recently. But in the past I traded mostly in bitfinex, then on Poloniex when bitfinex got hacked. Poloniex have decent UI and average low fee but their customer service is really poor or slow to response.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOWL | Mobile Social Application | No ICO | AIRDROP Closed on: September 28, 2017, 11:36:23 AM
Too early for exchange. Better have some applications built around the coin before going to exchanges. Why such a rush?

People are just hungry for fast cash. This will not help the future of this coin. This coin should be well developed before the suggestion of exchange is even brought up at all, just imagine this coin hitting  $1, work has to be done to achieve that. A lot of coins out there, let built a community and build this coin

That is right, a large community that supports this project is better than having an exchange this early. But there will still be those who are in here for quick and very eager to dump their tokens.
493  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is the presence of Bitcoin able to wipe out cash? on: September 27, 2017, 05:53:03 PM
As it is famous today. that Bitcoin is the solution to the weakness of cash. Many people are switching from cash and using Bitcoin.
If this continues to happen then the cash will be destroyed.
what do you think about it?
will Bitcoin be replacing cash?
what if the cash impact is no longer used?

Cash started to be phased out when credit cards came into existence. Now, most of the people shop without bringing cash into them. Maybe, someday bitcoin can achieved that status. Bitcoin will be the main payment method in any transaction we make. But if you mean by cash as fiat, then I do not think fiat will be totally replaced. Government will fight for it to stay.
494  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: September 27, 2017, 04:58:38 PM
It is not gambling but there is a certain risk when you put your money on bitcoin, just like gambling. Bitcoin is not yet that stable and still experiencing fluctuation in price. If you put your money into bitcoin as an investment, you have to take a risk that the price may fall and lost your money. Maybe that is why they say it is gambling.
495  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: September 27, 2017, 04:26:25 PM
Bitcoin is slowly creeping back up this week. Now it is at 4000 level already. Even with so many bad news about bitcoin going out, it is not enough to keep the price down. I think this up trend will continue to the end of the year.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE START LOOKING ELSE WHERE on: September 27, 2017, 02:24:40 PM
With all the negative news going around about bitcoin coursing a lot of panic and anxiety....do you this its time to look else where for a guarantee investment?
i mean may be eth doge etc....

There is no harm looking for additional investment but if you mean totally getting out of bitcoin and converting it to alts, I think that is a bad move. Diversifying your portfolio is good so that you can minimize your risk.
497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are countries now copying bitcoin to create their own digital currency ? on: September 27, 2017, 11:23:53 AM
Countries will have very little benefits from having their own crypto. And it would be a complete opposite of bitcoin because it would be centralized so that government will still have control over it. I will still use bitcoin even if my country creates a crypto.
498  Economy / Speculation / Re: is bitcoin bubble? on: September 27, 2017, 08:13:55 AM
Numerous attempts has been made to burst this bubble, but it won't burst. FUD after fud, but the price keeps coming back to this level because of strong support by the community. Do you still believe it is a bubble?
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So when do you "actually" plan to cash in your bitcoin? > or <$1,000,000 on: September 27, 2017, 07:34:09 AM
It will never happen, atleast in our lifetime. A reasonable amount would be 10k. I can wait for bitcoin to reach that amount before I dump a part of my bitcoin, but not all of it. It may go higher than that.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin out of circulation on: September 27, 2017, 07:11:14 AM
If some people has lots of bitcoin in their offline wallets and they die or lose memory.

Then those coins will be out of circulation right? Or is there any way to recover them?

This happened in the past when bitcoin has no value yet and the owners neglected their private keys or hard disk was destroyed. They never recovered their bitcoins. Thus, there will be less bitcoins to own or circulate that may push the price further up.
