601  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 13, 2017, 09:51:31 PM
Relax OP, bitcoin will bounce back and you will have profit soon. It is normal that you feel worried about your investment But someday, you will get used to this kind of volatility of bitcoin. When it crash, it crash. Leave it for a few months and it will bounce back and much higher than before.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wow everything is down today!! on: September 13, 2017, 07:46:45 PM
September was a bad month for the crypto world market. It is making me think of the event 11/9. But this is also an opportunity to invest, because I think everything will begin to stabilize over into the next month. We want to break 4xxx $ / BTC .

yes absolutely, such a crazy month !
its necessary to stay calm, in a few months crypto market might recover or it could be worse im not sure. Embarrassed

Crazy but full of opportunities. Alts and bitcoin has been going up and down for some time now. If you are a trader, those are good opportunities.

After a long bull run, it is just normal that there will be a bear run. I just hope this does not last that long. Waiting for the bull to resume it course.
603  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are signature campaign scarce? on: September 13, 2017, 07:30:27 PM
Don't blame everything that happens to bitcoin to China. There is no connection to sig campaign and china banning bitcoin. Bitcoin is expensive now, so it is expensive to run campaigns in bitcoin.

If you are not seeing bitcoin signature campaign, look at alt-bounty sections. There are tons of signature bounty campaigns waiting to be filled.
604  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcointalk Bounty millionaires. do they exist? on: September 13, 2017, 06:00:46 PM
I do not think so. Maybe if you get lucky on managing a bounty, you get 5 digits in $. Even if there is a large numbers of bounty active, you cannot work in all of it. I think the biggest stake would go to the manager, and it would be hard to manage several bounties all at once. So your income would be limited and bounties last for a few weeks to months.
605  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Bitcoin be worth in 5 years? on: September 13, 2017, 11:31:39 AM
It is either very high or very low depending on how governments, normal people and businessmen will react on bitcoin in the next five years. Government could ban or make it illegal, normal people may find it unnecessary and expensive and businessmen may not adopt. These could lead to price going down. But if everything went good, it will be very high and 10k or more is not hard to achieve.
606  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: What can police do if you get scammed? on: September 13, 2017, 09:48:30 AM
Your friend is lucky he only got scammed with a small amount,  others get scammed in way larger amount. Consider this as a lesson let it be charged to experience. Even if you file a case with the police I doubt they will process this unless you can pin point the person responsible.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO discussion on: September 12, 2017, 10:38:24 PM
I see ICO appear around 30 in 1 day, but I see no promising projects yet
They like to see ICO where to raise money, whereas ICO has a heavy responsibility.
I am very concerned about this condition
The same issue China and other countries trying to regulate ICO is pointing out. ICO with no legit project is trying to rob us of our money. We need to be wiser when joining any ICO.
608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin on: September 12, 2017, 12:46:25 PM
i think is difficult question friend. because the price of 1 bitcoin is very high, I do not know how long to get 1 bitcoin ,, it depends on you if you play trading with a lot of capital, maybe 1 day you can get 1 bitcoin
if you look at the latest price now is very difficult to get 1 bitcoin for free. the most realistic for beginners who do not have sufficient capital may be able to follow a variety of sign camps or a competition that is paid using bitcoin, so the bitcoin can be collected for future investment.

You can also earn altcoins by doing bounty campaigns and exchange it to bitcoin later. Though this is risky and will take time before you get paid but it is worth it if you get a good campaign.
609  Other / Meta / Re: BCT account hacked , please give negative trust if possible on: September 12, 2017, 06:00:40 AM
Bump help to give negative trust to my hacked account please  Cry

Why do you want a negative trust on your "account"? If it yours, then prove it so theymos can give it back to you. It will be hard to remove the neg trust when you recovered your account.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum ? on: September 11, 2017, 07:16:16 PM
Why choose when you can have them both. Both coins have high daily volumes. If you trade them properly, you can earn substantially on both of these coins. And I do not think any of these coins are going out of the market anytime soon. Both of them will stay and profitable for  quite some time.
611  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: can someone tell me the benefits of campaign on: September 11, 2017, 06:34:06 PM
hello everyone out there i only have a vague idea about bitcoins so please let me know more on how to enter campaigns and earn bitcoins

Instead of focusing on the campaign, focus on learning more about bitcoin and familiarizing yourself with the rules of the forum. Earning bitcoin thru campaign and other means will come naturally as you become more proficient in bitcoin.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price up again? on: September 11, 2017, 06:13:47 PM
If the news spreading around is fake, bitcoin and altcoin price will recover soon. Otherwise, there will be a long time before the price of cryptocurrency will recover. It will take some time but it will surely recover.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: September 11, 2017, 06:07:15 PM
I am often late from work due to gambling. Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?

Nope, I would never compromise my source of income because of leisure or gambling. It is bad habit to be late and very unprofessional especially without a valid reason. Gambling should just be done to relieve stress or for entertainment but should not get in the way with your responsibilities.
614  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: China to Shut Bitcoin Exchanges - winter is coming on: September 11, 2017, 05:41:25 PM
It is bad if it is real but bitcoin can recover from that. Even if Chinese exchanges shutdown, there are still other exchanges all around the world that can cover the gap the chinese exchanges will leave empty. The price may go down a bit but it will recover for sure.
615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy BTC on: September 11, 2017, 05:07:42 PM
Every day is a good time to buy bitcoin. It is only on an early stage, the price can go much much higher. And now, there is some FUD spreading, meaning the price is lower than it should be. You can buy now and wait for the price to go high when FUD blows over.
616  Economy / Economics / Re: How many can resist selling off their BTC for huge profits? on: September 11, 2017, 04:54:41 PM
I would take profit with even less, say 300% profit. I know bitcoin will take a dip somehow in the future, so getting your 300% profit is already good and then I will wait for another dip to buy. Rinse and repeat for more profit.
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY THIS DUMP??? on: September 11, 2017, 02:42:29 PM
It is the fear created about China banning ICO and shutting down exchanges. This is normal reaction especially if you are from China. But this dump will not last, the market will recover from this. What you can do is buy, it is a good opportunity to buy cheap coins.
618  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price will DROP MORE? on: September 11, 2017, 02:26:34 PM
If the news about China banning ICO and shutting down exchanges persist, it is quite certain that the price of bitcoin will drop. But I do not know how low it will get. Good news is, other bitcoin enthusiast are eager to pick up what others dump. So I do not think that the price will stay low for a long time when the price drops.
619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: September 11, 2017, 01:04:11 PM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?

I do mine during breaks and free time. Since I have a day job, I prioritize it and do bounties and research after work. If you really love what you are doing, you will find time even on the busiest schedule.
620  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: *** BITCOIN FEES - Stop paying overpriced STUPID fees to greedy miners!! *** on: September 11, 2017, 07:22:15 AM
Usually I look at unconfirmed transactions before I decide if I'll place large fees or not. If it is only a few thousands, i'll risk it.

i saw a 0-fee transaction confirmed just the other day: https://blockchain.info/tx/2e1fca53148718bd4d00eeebed510a9417a96a5bbd09be395c51afe776954ef2

so it still happens today. this one was supposedly pushed by a transaction accelerator service right here on the forum. i would be careful sending no-fee transactions, though, for obvious reasons. very easy for transactions like this to get stuck. but if you're just consolidating inputs (sending to self) and you've got time, why not? Smiley

It got confirmed but after 99 days, I bet you don't want to do that on a tx you need badly
