Even though I would never buy cloud mining (I mine with physical miners) AM is probably the best one out. Not sure you would ever profit just buying a contract and holding, but if you buy and trade at the right time it could be a good deal. Good luck to everyone that goes this route!

For the vast majority of people, AMHash is less expensive than owning a physical miner. The initial cost for 1700 Gh/s is cheaper than an SP20 (which tend to only do around 1500 Gh/s) and that's excluding shipping costs, import costs, local taxes and PSU cost. Also, AMHash maintenance costs are equivalent to running an SP20 with electricity costs of 0.1 USD/kWh.

I had a few physical miners, gen2 BFL, and i can tell you that cloud mining is profitable only if you can recover/sell your investment, beyond that point, even a satoshi is profit.

Gen2 BFL and PBmining. OUCH! I started mining on my CPU and I've heard people say that mining is unprofitable since GPU mining started to pick up steam. They've always been wrong. I think when people say that mining is unprofitable, what they actually mean is that it's no longer a get rich quick scheme.

yeah i wish i would have got into bitcoin where i could have used cpu to mine it and yes gpu seem to be so much better for a time. I personally cant have the miners like some people have, i mean i have some but not like 50 machines at 1 time lol
1462  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 20, 2014, 06:28:56 PM
say you bought 100TH at Amhash1 IPO, by now you would have mined around 40BTC from 125BTC investment and your investment at current levels is still worth 120BTC...... Winner  Wink

Amhash 2 would have netted around 31BTC from a 120BTC investment still holding a value of 120BTC

see that point hits the nail on the head but many people dont see it that way they see maybe unicorns and gold at end of the rainbow made out of skittles  Grin
1463  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 20, 2014, 03:59:17 PM

1465  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 20, 2014, 03:53:34 PM

Another question - which merchants are exclusive to Paycoin? I think I missed that announcement if there was one.

Is that even necessary?  What would that prove?

A retailer is going to want to make it easy for anyone (including paycoin holders) to buy their crap.  Why would they not accept bitcoin too?

Why are you answering a question with a question?  Grin

That was based on a quote from the CEO's announcement. An important one, illustrating how Paycoin is better than any other coin since it's accepted everywhere where Bitcoin is accepted, PLUS those exclusive merchants.

Are you implying that he maybe lied?  There are no exclusive Paycoin merchants? Shocking Shocked
LOL come on we all know when the tinfoil cap is to tight and you have drank to much kooilaid you tend to do weird things. One of them is like you said answer a question with a question nothing new there  Cool
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Paycoin on: December 20, 2014, 03:20:49 PM

1467  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: December 20, 2014, 03:01:53 PM
DAM alot of the captcha videos are now removed from youtube so now have to keep clicking till something comes on that can watch and get caption code.

Yup, that sucks really bad. Now we have to waste even more time just to even start mining..
seems like the videos they show have been fixed i am no longer blank error screens. The only bad part is now i am seeing the trailer for that movie " THE INTERVIEW " that i really want to see so bad but they not showing it  Cry

DDOS or maintenance?  Grin
I would personally say maybe they doing maintenance since they doing changes. I really hope they not ddos but in this day in age you never know. Maybe someone hashie watched that movie " the interview " so now they being attacked lol

LOL i am not sure where you found this picture but i liked it so much i had to get a copy of it just to print out. Going to put it as my work motivation poster on mondays haha  Wink

1470  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 20, 2014, 08:38:13 AM
In case you guys arn't aware, Scryptx is converting shares to amhash next week....

"- We place a bid for Scrypt units of 0.00684 BTC during 1 week, ending on Friday 26th of December at 11:00 GMT. Unit holders have the opportunity to sell their units at this price until then.
- After this deadline, trading will be halted and all remaining Scrypt units will be converted to AMHash3 units. Converted units will automatically appear in your Havelock account. After the conversion, Scrypt will be delisted from Havelock.

Thank you,

Team CryptX"

at what conversion will this happen cause i am sure it wont be 1 for 1 cause that would be major rip off and make alot of people who dont come here but own it pissed off. I am just asking in general as i dont own any myself

1472  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: December 20, 2014, 08:30:27 AM
it isnt a scam, but anyone asking ssn though its asking for trouble.

like why ask ssn?

Hey guys,

David here, Community Manager at Xapo. Let me answer your concerns about providing your SSN. As with any website from which you purchase Bitcoins, we are required to verify your identity. This is an important part of a common process you might be familiar with, known as “Know Your Customer” (KYC), which prevents unknown individuals from using Bitcoin for illegal activity like money laundering. Xapo only asks for the last 4 digits of your social security (SSN) in order to complete the identity verification process. Xapo is not a lender of currency and you will never be asked to provide your full social security number (unlike some other sites...). We therefore cannot, and will not, perform a credit check on any Xapo customer.

Any other questions about Xapo's reputation, I'm here to answer! - David

1473  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 20, 2014, 04:07:50 AM
I wonder what this forum will be like if or should I say when pay base launches and people stay seeing the coin selling @ $20, I would imagine some will still be calling scam whilst others will just fade away feeling sorry for them selves for selling now. I saw one large sale of 2000 XPY @ .0200 so lets  call it 14K now when the $20.00 is available then that person will be 26K down. I can imagine on all forums including Hash Talk people will be screaming that some how Josh should compensate for them selling their coins cheaply as they didn't know that pay base was going to be exchanging at $20.00.
I am buying coins until I run out of BTC. Once Pay Base is launched I will sell some XPY and buy more form the open market up to $18.00. I imagine a lot of GAW customers will do the same.

I only have about 10K worth of XPY a lot less then most, I will be staking, I also have invested in other mining services as well and will continue to do so.
If I wanted out now I would be well ahead, I have already made my ROI many times over and all other investments are from earnings, I have a real job that I earn money to pay for every day living. I see all crypto as a chance of possibly getting on to a new technology before the rest of the world does.

This forum and Hash Talk can make all crypto look bad, how about everyone try to work together for what we all want and that is a strong industry.
i know and you may be right i wonder what josh is doing right now with all the money

1474  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: December 20, 2014, 03:57:16 AM
Any chance of putting some mini game to earn gold faster then just keep waiting?

It has been suggested before and I am investigating the options.
Developing such a game is not something I can do myself (if it is meant as a flash/java game), and it will be expensive to hire a third party.

That being said, I am still considering this as an option.
lol you know what i am going to say when we say java / flash game PLease some one help the man make a Sim City style miner operation lol. Not only would it be cool no other site does it all the same thing so you would have a edge i think  Grin
I do think that apllying what you say would not benefit the site...
The costs will go up like crazy thanks to all the animation running on the site than...

If you wanna play sims, go play sims, this is still a faucet on a webpage imo...
Allot of people won't take the faucet for real if it would be a copy of sims ...
now now play nice dont be trying to get snippy lol was just saying
1475  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 20, 2014, 03:18:25 AM
It looks like someone just bought 150 Th/s on Havelock.

That was me...

wait what you bought 150th dam son should have sent something my wat lol even enough for 20 amhash3 shares lol. I am now at 515 amhash shares lol makes me feel so small and dirty  Cry
1476  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 20, 2014, 03:16:49 AM
lol come on elastic you know you want a referal system in place for am hash.

It makes sense for AMHash customers to want a referral system. It makes far less sense for AM shareholders though.

Referral systems just encourage people to open a second account using their own link so they can get a bonus on what ever G their second account buys..... it's just a silly way a legit company to give away money.
yeah i can understand your point of view i was just saying all referals cant be bad especially if larger companies like cex have been doing it for some time  Wink
1477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Paycoin on: December 19, 2014, 11:29:29 PM
Paycoin is going to be one of the biggest cryptocurencies ever-even better than bitcoin.
And for 1 week only you can mine it!
1TH/Day=4.4Paycoin=$88
Who else is mining it??
thanks alot for ruining all our chances of mining lame
lol i am sure they are really sorry for spoling it for everyone  Grin
1478  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 19, 2014, 08:25:14 PM
I love seeing the people have a chance to dump the people's money ponzicoin.

I just caught up on the last 10+ pages, and well worth the time spent, getting to see people with money stuck on ponzicoin getting a chance to dump, it's like a Christmas  miracle  Cheesy

Wonder how those people who bought ponzicoin for $20 from Gaw before shopify shut down GAW's credit card processing feel about the back tracking from the $20 floor  Cry

LOL IT is a xmas miracle for those who manage to get some profit off this coin lol for those who get burned will be like the grinch who stole xmas sadly enough  Cry
1479  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 19, 2014, 06:30:06 PM
Just curious, if this is a legit mining company, why are you posting your stuff in Games and Rounds?  I got burned by PBmining unfortunately (I should have known better)

Any reason you are posting it here?

1480  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 19, 2014, 06:26:41 PM
I see this on my dashboard on cloudminr :"-5.91% in -1 days Next difficulty". Can someone explain? Does it mean the difficulty went down 5.91% a Day ago?

Nope...difficulty changed - 1,37% a day ago.

I think this is the best link where u can find numbers: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

Yes -1.37% a day ago and now the cloudminr dashboard :

"-12.36% in 14 days Next difficulty" Big profits ahead  Tongue
LOL if and thats a big IF difficulty drops 12.36% next turn i will be happy as hell. I also would be a little bit worried as to where all hash rate is going to. Maybe its time to turn on my 3  7950 video cards to move the btc hashrate  Cool

the next difficulty drop wont be that large. right now about 40-50PH of hashrate is mining paycoin (probably 20PH of this is older-gen asics that were turned on again just to mine paycoin profitably). Over the weekend paycoin POW ends and most of that hashrate will flow back to bitcoin.

the drop will probably be -1% this time, and then +6% next jump. Any calculators that predict -10% or greater drop are based on estimates that the hashrate change in the last 72hrs will continue for another 11 days, which it wont
we are loosing bitcoin hashrate for that piece of shit con artist paycoin from gaw. Good lord i swear i cant escape from josh and his anal rape pandemic lol

It seems to be a very good thing for Bitcoin miners in the short term since the difficulty is going down, cloudminr dashboard reads :

39457671307 Current difficulty

-11.57% in 12 days Next difficulty
i know and i agree picolo " reminds me of dragon ball z lol "  but i just hate gaw they try to burn me but then they had a glitch so i manage to sell and get out of gaw and even made like 3% profit lol. It was only like $500 but still its the principle  Wink
