What coin do you recommend at this point that you see as relatively cheap? with Bitcoin im not going to achieve anything by just holding, or at least not unless I want to be a rich grandpa. I need a relatively low price coin that may blow up in the future. What about Monero?

Peercoin has a really good price at the moment. Also, 0.000008 BTC per NuShare is a really good price, so pay attention --- if the price goes near 0.000008 BTC, buy in. I bought 6 BTC worth of NuShares a couple of weeks ago and now they are worth ~11 BTC, easy money. I don't know about other cryptos because you have to know the devs and community in order to make a good investment and not just gamble. I personally have been into Sunny King's coins ever since PeerCoin was created and I know that those dudes are constantly working on projects to make their coins succeed in the long run.
1462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the rise in price due to Open Bazaar? on: November 10, 2014, 05:00:19 PM
In the thread in general about Open Bazaar, someone posted it shouldn't be used for that, since it's not that anonymous. Here's the quote:

thanks for the info, really appreciate it.
1463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it reach 400$ soon? on: November 10, 2014, 04:09:17 PM
Does anyone else perceive slight acceleration? Could it be the very beginning of a parabolic rise? Cheesy
1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the rise in price due to Open Bazaar? on: November 10, 2014, 03:48:11 PM
I wonder if drugs can be sold on open bazaar and if it supports anonymity. Technically it should be possible with the help of BitMessage for example.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: One year ago... on: November 10, 2014, 03:38:30 PM
One year ago a few of my friends were asking me which altcoin they should buy among : Litecoin, Peercoin and Feathercoin.
My answer was "Bitcoin".
Was it the right choice ?

Clealy... almost all others have fallen over 90%..
Haha, why must the masses always get it wrong? Gotta laugh at it but so sad.

My answer has always been Peercoin. You can say that it has fallen over 90% but it also went to da nebulas in comparison to Bitcoin's rally to 1000+. What is more, in the end it settled down at its starting point before Bitcoin's last big bubble so whoever bought into PPC at that time were never in a loss.

Just look at the graph and do your thinking:
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Discuss my portfolio weights on: November 10, 2014, 03:28:41 PM
1. buy 1 000 000$ worth of nubits
2. park them for a week
3. get 100$ profit each week
... easy money
1467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it reach 400$ soon? on: November 10, 2014, 01:40:07 PM
So nice to watch btc rise up and up!

Will it reach 400$?

We need the bears to get airborn like in this vid @ 0:45..

Cool vid, Cheesy we need Hulk to throw some bears over the fence again.

What if the current bull run is catalysed by No Shave November? It correlates perfectly with the start of November. Also, beard growth has always been linked to manliness which in turn contributes to the general anabolism as opposed to femininity that stands for consolidation and nourishment.

pic related, Bitcoin was programmed in C++, the omnipotent bearded grandfathers approve it:

Satoshi would be easily a billionaire if he still has the first million btc ever mined
Ross ulbright from silk Rd would have been a billionaire too if they hadn't have caught him and they're probably not the only ones with large amounts either

Morale: quit it while you're ahead. Cheesy The owner of Black Market Reloaded was smart enough to simply shut down the whole place before LEs could get to him. Ross on the other hand got greedy.
1470  Economy / Speculation / Re: I just bought 100btc on: November 10, 2014, 12:12:57 AM
At the current prices, I would have bought 50 BTC, 10000 Peercoins and 1500000 Nushares instead of going all in with BTC.
1471  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 360$ on: November 10, 2014, 12:04:18 AM
I can't see what the catalyst would be.

exactly! that's how magic is supposed to work. otherwise, all magic would be fraud.
1472  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 360$ on: November 09, 2014, 11:49:58 PM
If you were Bill Gates or Sir Branson, how much money would you get in BTC?

I'd probably send $40 million over to Bitstamp  Cool

That'll get you around 111,100BTC at today's rate

Don't know about Gatesy but think Brando already picked up and currently bagholding  Grin

Bill Gates is already at the stage where he doesnt give a fuck about money (as in getting more of it)  so I doubt he's going to be here watching to see the highs and lows but he's said favourable things about the tech model and sir Richard Branson as a billionaire  doesn't need the money either but he is happily accepting them for his  space tour flights   and probably even hodling them since he would have no need to cash out into fiat anytime soon  lol

that's an interesting discussion but did you know that this year alone there were more new billionaires than ever before?

I'd bet the first thought of many new billionaires is: "now I must make sure to remain billionaire" which means they are going to buy some bitcoins and that's a cold hard proven theory!
1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 360$ on: November 09, 2014, 11:37:18 PM
a piece of code that still gots to prove itself and that can easily be overtaken by other altcoins in the next few years (for example NXT Peercoin and Nubits or something like that)

FTFY

NXT is to PPC what LTC is to BTC. Both LTC and NXT are doomed to fail because they were not innovative and they were not first, they were pathetic copies in their essence. To make matters worse, NXT is not even programmed in C++ but in Java instead. Everyone knows that C++ is da shit and Java is for the noob programmers who can't comprehend memory allocation and pointers. (to the dim-witted: the last sentence was intentionally exaggerated because the author of this post simply dislikes Java and Nextcoin and wants to put them in poor light)

I think it's unfair that the Amazon tribes get to trip balls on Ayahuasca erryday, they deserve to get busted too. I mean their tribe shaman is pretty much the local drug dealer, isn't it?

WTF is Ayahuasca?

It's like weed on steroids i've heard.

Actually it has been reported that Ayahuasca makes you quit weed and other potentially harmful drugs for life:

Uptrend is clear.

Many traps happened in the last week. Sorry for those who sold , expect a 450 next week.

Here i say, here i sign this.

Wink

If we break 450$ during the next 2 weeks, shit will be soooo cash. You will see, because I have TA in my back pocket.

WTF is Ayahuasca?

It's essentially orally taken DMT with the help of MAOI.

Yes but they got what they deserved. What they were doing was illegal and what did they expect.

No, they are not getting "what they deserve." Just because something is illegal doesn't mean those found guilty of it "deserve" what happens to them.

And it's Sunday, we're supposed to have a dip. Will next week bring us 400+?
Will this week bring us 400+?
Will this week bring us 450+?

Nebula is the limit.
Nibiru is the limit (hint: its atmosphere is full of tiny gold particles --- we're going to be sooo rich).

after a minor speedbump that lasted exactly a year, the happening continues and we are finally conquering new heights again.

Sad news, both of the new Graphical User Interface developers quitted after failing to complete the new version in 2 months. They worked 5 hours per week and were offered 25% share (per face) of the donations/profit the site generated. One said "Right now it's difficult to work assuming that one day Bitcoin may become SOMETHING."
