1461  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Will It Affect The Bitcoin Price, If Satoshi Tell The Truth ? on: February 22, 2017, 06:21:24 AM
The media already know bitcoin and all the truth you need to know about bitcoin is in its source code which is publicly available.

Since you are close buddy with satoshi, why not just tell us the secret and we will decide what will be the effect on the market?
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] UBIQ - UbiQuoin - WeLikeIt! - (NEW Topic) on: February 22, 2017, 02:24:45 AM
Is this the same coin that is in yobit? I thought this was an old coin or is it making a comeback? I invested in UBIQ last year but my sell order was all hit last week. Made good profit. Thanks UBIQ.
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BITCOIN WALLET APP REALLY RELIABLE? on: February 21, 2017, 11:39:41 PM
There are different a quotes when you buy and another quote if you sell. Normally, the convertion of btc is cheaper if you sell and higher if you buy. If you want to have the best price, or the price that you want, move your funds to an exchange site like polo or bfx. Then trade there. After trading, move your funds back to your wallet.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Canada calling for Cryptocurrency intervention? on: February 21, 2017, 11:24:09 PM
They want to centralize a decentralized currency. It is clear that the Bank of Canada do not understand what bitcoin is. And they want to intervene? How can they intervene if they do not understand what bitcoin stands for. They will make more harm than good.
1465  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 21, 2017, 10:53:37 PM
at the moment I get a bitcoin only with trading, I never done gambling but the results were not good. of trading, I produce about 0.35 btc every week.
.35 btc a week is good, so 1.4 btc a month! wish i could make that much by trading lol, i risk less and make less. Grin

Some just cannot be satisfied. To people like us, 0.35 a week is already enough, but to some it is still too little. I am also trading but I do not earn that much. I can only make a few mbtc a month.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: February 21, 2017, 09:26:34 PM
It is not that hard to understand and use. Create a wallet and use wallet to spend bitcoin. It is that easy. I do not think you need to be technically savvy to be able to use bitcoin. Everyone can use it. You only need to be technical if you are developing software for bitcoin.
1467  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: February 21, 2017, 07:45:29 PM
This was the era when money can control everything, so that the rich are getting rich and the poor is getting poorer. There should be a role of the State to regulate so that prosperity can be evenly distributed.
I must ask you to wake from your dream, because what you seek shall never be. Money answers to hardwork, diligence, all those things that makes one creative and add value to life, other than that, penury becomes unavoidable. Most people that are broke are day dreamers, they sleep for over 8 hours everyday, while most rich people hardly sleep for up to 4 hours everyday. The fact however still remains that there is still so much of the ocean left unexplored for anyone wiling to dive in.
The habbit of success people is less sleep. But if they use their money to create an investment that make passive income, it will be better. So they will become good investor that work hard and work smart.

Amount of sleep does not correlate to your wealth. It is the amount of work you have done while you are awake and the amount of money you earn while you are sleeping that matters. Even if you sleep all day if your workers earn money for you, you will still be successful. Working hard is just a part of it. Making things work for you is the answer.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and betting?? on: February 21, 2017, 06:45:04 PM
Unlike OP I am better making money sports betting than gambling on casino. I see the problem why you are losing on sports betting is because you are relying on tips. If you can make your own decision by getting to know the game better, maybe you will fare better doing sports betting.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder: EVERY transaction is visible on the blockchain on: February 21, 2017, 06:33:59 PM
This does not concern me. I do not use bitcoin for anything illegal. Even if they audit all my bitcoin transactions, they will find nothing that can compromise me. While bitcoin is legal in my country, I am safe.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollars And Euros Removed How We Determine The Value Of Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2017, 04:01:41 PM
Bible people measure their wealth with camels and sheep. If they want to buy something, they'll ask the seller how many sheep  for whatever product they are buying.  That same principle applies. The amount of bitcoin to purchase a certain product will be set by competition of the competing sellers and the amount the buyer is willing to give.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have found a wallet with 40 BTC on: February 21, 2017, 03:04:38 PM
This guy is just trolling. The address has been asked multiple times already and he keeps on avoiding it. Maybe Betwrong is right, OP will post a malicious link soon.

1472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitfinex: Short > Long positions (Will end violently) on: February 21, 2017, 01:39:47 PM
I just hope they can tank the margin when the price soar on the way to March 11. The short squeeze will kill them, the price is already moving up and we are still two weeks away from the decision.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: February 21, 2017, 12:12:55 AM
I grew up in a community that gambling is a norm. Almost everyone is gambling from small children to very old people. So there is no shame in gambling. In our community, the better you are at it, the more popular you are.
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] ORACLE on: February 20, 2017, 11:21:35 PM
Watching this and waiting for bounty if there will be. It is looking to be a good coin if developed well. Codex is a good replacement for oracle too.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin anonymous on: February 20, 2017, 09:01:55 PM
Another way to break the link is to deposit into a exchange site, convert it into altcoin and convert back to bitcoins. You will now have a new set of bitcoins. And if you did it right, you can even earn a few more coins in the process.
1476  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ito na ba ang tamang oras? 👍👎 on: February 20, 2017, 05:08:23 PM
May target ka naman OP, that is a good target. Patience is a virtue. It is just a few hundred dollars away. Kung bibili ka or sell, dapat kusa mo at hindi dahil sinabi ng sinuman. Mahirap manisi in the end kung makakuha ka ng bad advice.
1477  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info new interface on: February 20, 2017, 04:32:52 PM
I like the new look. But I only use blockchain.info for their wallet and do not care much of the aesthetics or other functionality but that concerns the wallet.

did anyone notice that unconfirmed transaction is now not displayed?
I did not even notice it was there before. What I noticed before was that flashing tx that not in there now.
1478  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Watch porn with Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 03:43:42 PM
Paying for porn is a waste of money. No one wants to pay for porn these days. They can easily download or stream hd videos for free.  You should let them watch porn for free but have a dating service and charge them for that
1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple, Microsoft, Mercedes Benz Accepting Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 03:36:26 PM
This is good new if it is true. This are big companies and they accepting bitcoin is a big step. I just wished OP can also include some reference so we can confirm if the topic is real or not.
1480  Economy / Speculation / Re: 11th March, SEC approve or not bitcoin in ETF on: February 20, 2017, 01:52:35 PM
Hi everyone,

I have read that the 11th March is the deadline for the SEC ( Security and Exchange Commission ) to approve... or not Bitcoin in ETF ( Exchange Trade Fund ). What does that exactly mean for Bitcoin? Will there be a boom in prices if it is approved? Will there be a drop if it is rejected? Or nothing?

Thanks for your opinions. I am looking forward to invest many bitcoins but i would actually see whenever it has the best price before a next boom.

We can only speculate. but you are free to invest now. Most are speculating that bitcoin is still under priced so with or without ETF approval, there will still be a boom in price. If you keep on waiting for the right price, you might miss your opportunity.
