1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: May 23, 2020, 05:41:22 AM
51 votes in the poll so far

43 vote for Fury
8 votes for Wilder

According to members here within the forum there is not much hope in Wilder winning the re-match.

Keep the votes coming in please  Grin

The fight has been postponed, so why is this thread still open?

Also, the poll is completely unnecessary, it's quite clear that Fury has won by an absolute landslide, more votes will achieve nothing.

I suggest locking this thread until the fight is rescheduled.

It's still going to happen though and it looks like it will be sometime this year: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-8341309/Tyson-Fury-Deontay-Wilder-trilogy-fight-happen-2020-Bob-Arum-reveals-plans-made.html

Someone would likely just open another thread about it anyway if this one was locked or talk about it in another boxing thread.

this one is still questionable yet its being said that PPV would cost $80? Waduhek.  Cool

The last fight was $80 so it'll either be the same price or more. If the fight goes ahead behind closed doors I'm sure they'll jack the price up to cover lost gate receipts. $80 is already a lot though. It shouldn't be more than $100. It was £24.95 in the UK.

We will have news about this fight in a few weeks. This is how Arum announced it in that article.
A fight that could happen in the fourth quarter of this year. It has been ruled out to be USA or UK.
Speaking to Boxing Scene, he said: 'We have proposals from entities in two countries that we're considering now.
Which countries?
We will be waiting.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does Gambling really mean to you? on: May 22, 2020, 09:58:15 PM
From my own experience gambling is entertainment but when luck is on my side I see it as my chance to win some money. I also know that gambling is very addictive and that I must control myself and not enter the vicious circle.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Effect of the Bitcoin Halving on Online Casinos on: May 22, 2020, 06:30:02 AM
I think they are assumptions from The Effect of the Bitcoin Halving. Because they are not based on surveys and other series of field research. The Bitcoin Halving event certainly caught the attention of many crypto enthusiasts and others people joined the community.

On the characteristics of Bitcoin: Security, Maturity, and changing gambling for the better. They may have the expected result. For example, I have seen more blockchain-based online gambling developments. I might agree that a change in gambling is being created.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 22, 2020, 04:57:29 AM
After looking at your reply, I followed Jon Bones's Twitter account and realized that it's become the best way to find the source of the news. Hot!
Jon Bones answered about the legacy and the money

Isn’t legacy more important than money?

https://twitter.com/UFCBOMB/status/1263606707701321728

"Before even discussing numbers, the UFC was unwilling to pay more for the Francis super fight / for me to move to heavyweight. Said I could possibly earn more in pay-per-view buys."

"Honestly no, not in the stage of my career. I could retire today. I've already done my job, I've given this company over a decade of entertainment."

I also think that Lautaro Martinez is a promising player with many skills and with the great opportunity to join Barça.

Messi said: "I think I already mentioned it, that Lautaro is an impressive striker, especially because I think he is a very complete forward.

"He is strong, he dribbles well, he scores goals, he knows how to protect the ball ...

"But well, we will have to see what happens finally with him and with other players."

1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Underground Casinos Is it Happening? on: May 22, 2020, 03:39:51 AM
I don't know any underground casinos in my city but they do exist around the world. I think that in times of Coranavirus I agree that they would be working but in a more discreet way taking the appropriate measures to avoid virus infection, somewhere reserved and away.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 21, 2020, 07:00:16 AM
As the teams return to training, the Premier League announced that six positive tests for coronavirus were found among 748 players and the staff of 19 clubs.
Efforts are being made to resume but it seems unlikely to happen.

1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new survey shows that UKs gambling addiction is getting worst day by day. on: May 21, 2020, 04:50:19 AM
This survey was conducted by GambleAware, a charity that helps and supports people in the UK with gambling problems.
According to the results of the survey, it will allow researchers to create strategies to help people to know the impact of the gambling.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sports do you think that can resume amid Covid-19 scare. on: May 21, 2020, 03:30:58 AM
It is totally correct! I think that sports will resume following strict preventive measures to try to save the season of some games. If the result is positive, at least there is a beginning,  no public hearing is yet estimated at events in Germany until the end of August.
We have already noticed how football, boxing and now F1 are preparing to resume the events following all these protocols.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: May 20, 2020, 06:28:08 AM
This idea of virtual fans could be so that the broadcasts could be animated. Because we already know that fans add joy and excitement to sporting events. They are experimenting to see how things turn out is what I believe.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 20, 2020, 06:16:37 AM
Just some interesting news in the tennis world.

Rafel Nadal's warning to world No.1: Djokovic needs vaccination to play

Quote
Rafael Nadal says world No.1 Novak Djokovic will need to be vaccinated to keep playing if tennis' governing bodies make coronavirus shots obligatory once they become available.

Nadal said week that Djokovic and all players will have to follow the rules when tennis eventually returns to action.

World No.2 Nadal said no one can be forced to take the vaccine and everyone should be free to make their choices, but all players will have to comply if tennis officials require "vaccination to travel" and to "protect" everyone on the tour.

"Then Djokovic will have to be vaccinated if he wants to keep playing tennis at the top level," Nadal said. told Nadal told the Spanish newspaper La Voz de Galicia

"The same for me. Everyone will have to follow the rules, just like now we have to stay at home."

Djokovic recently said he was against taking a vaccine for the coronavirus even if it became mandatory to travel. He later said he was open to changing his mind.

https://wwos.nine.com.au/tennis/nadal-djokovic-needs-vaccination-to-play/12c67fd9-ea5e-46a7-9b9e-67cd12f6d6f5

I'm not familiar with Novak Djokovic statement about not wanting to be vaccinated if ever if will be mandatory and of course if vaccine have been discovered for covid-19 virus. Obviously, everyone should get vaccinated, I don't understand why Djokovic is against it on the first place. Maybe he thinks it can affect his performance maybe? I don't know.

When the vaccine is available and mandated, I think players should be vaccinated against the Coronavirus.
The human mind is unpredictable, there are people around the world who are dying and suffering from this pandemic and who wish to regain their health and be free of the Coronavirus.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 19, 2020, 07:58:59 PM
The Last Dance is a great sports documentary explained by its own protagonist. It is the most great thing that I can admire. Michael Jordan brings emotions to life in every scene, is the magic of reliving the best plays of the great basketball legend. The best in spectacle that we are celebrating in this time of crisis of the year 2020.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 19, 2020, 07:10:07 PM
Casinos are not an essential activity, They have not yet been given the green light to reopen in Las Vegas. The good thing is that in Nevada the rate of infected people was controlled.

Now to lifting of confinement the essential activities businesses are being carried out by phase first. Casino owners are eager to reopen under strict preventative measures such as make testing Coronavirus for their employees.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots with Penny Games and free faucet on: May 18, 2020, 07:30:30 AM
Faucets are the preferred ones to start earning some free crypto. As some recommend we must have patience to enjoy and concentrate to be able to win a good amount to accumulate and bet.
Let's maintain self-control and have fun.

1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More info about Satoshi Nakamoto needed for research on: May 17, 2020, 12:01:46 AM
I asked a friend who works for a top blockchain connoisseur who created his first cryptocurrency before Bitcoin. If he knew Satoshi Nakamoto and he said no.

I am also grateful for his creation. Bitcoin has disrupted money and made it available to everyone. For which I am grateful.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is our killer app? on: May 16, 2020, 11:14:46 PM
High graphic battle royale game are still way far from blockchain based games. Even the privately operated blockchain based gaming platform are failing to build and engaging game. There have been some approaches towards P2P games with lightning network like https://www.lightningbattle.com/ which have 2 games at the moment that could be played P2P. I remember playing one P2P coinflip but don't remember the name.
Thanks for sharing. I'll check it out later. All these types of App are useful in creating our ecosystem to promote the use of Bitcoin.

Around me I have families and friends who have not been interested in bitcoin because of everything there is to learn to achieve it and playing from an App could be more interesting for them and for anyone who does not know about bitcoin.

It is impressive the hours that an average person uses social networks without a money utility in these times of crisis.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prediction btc on: May 16, 2020, 10:50:14 PM
I also think that all these forecasts are speculations. We are experiencing difficult times in the global economy. However Bitcoin has remained strong despite the current insecurity. I just wish that Bitcoin is available to everyone.
1499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For me Bitcoin never changed! on: May 16, 2020, 10:37:49 PM
Bitcoin has never changed, all the coins that have been created after it using its name and modifying it just a little. It is because its developers have been looking for their own benefit and have not found it getting in the way. The clearest answer is the volume that Bitcoin has and the preference of the users placing it first.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 16, 2020, 08:37:52 PM
The national Ministry of Health said that a new wave of infections is expected during the months of September and October. Hopefully this prediction is not fulfilled and that there is an advance to counteract the virus.
Because the measures you are saying are being taken to avoid infections. Italy like all countries needs to resume their economies safely.
