For AMHahs: could you put a referal system to give bonus ? That could help Smiley
Thanks

No! please do not do this!
lol come on elastic you know you want a referal system in place for am hash. I personally dont have problem with referals system but i know alot of people see it as a kind of scam thing to do or not worth it. I agree to some extent but then i think places like cex even have what like a 3% - 4% referal bonus ghs?

Dividends dropped, as someone who is not a veteran in the investing world, why would this happen, or does that mean there is a downward trend and it is a good time to sell ?
if the difficulty keeps dropping its a good time to invest in mining, as long at btc price doesnt drastically drop

you do know the bitcoin price has dropped more so thn the difficulty in the last month.... kind of a contradiction to what your saying.
as long as btc price doesnt keep dropping from where it is right now, like as long as it stays above $300 I guess. If it makes it down to $200 and the difficulty doesnt drastically drop as well then its going to be unprofitable.
$200 i thought someone else posted as long as it dont drop below $132 at current difficulty should be be making profint on miners we are using / buying i may be wrong but i am sure that is what was said  Huh

I'm not sure if this is what you're thinking of but I had posted this yesterday:

So if Bitcoin keeps tanking and we end up around $100 per coin how long can you keep this setup mining? Is there any provisions about that sort of thing? Obviously you guys would be running at a pretty large loss if that were to happen?

If Bitcoin hits $100 then the contract would already have terminated as the reward would be less than the maintenance fee of .01551 Bitcoins per TH/s at the current difficulty.
Then again, if difficulty were to go below 32,425,157,336 due to unprofitable miners coming offline then AMHash would continue to operate as the reward would be higher than the maintenance fee once again.

The only provision is that we have 10 days for the Bitcoin value to recover or the difficulty to drop sufficiently to bring us back into profitability.  The problem with 10 days with respect to difficulty is the fact tat the difficulty retarget is 14 days (at least) and possibly longer when the difficulty is going to decrease.  I would hope that if that were the case, AMHash would extend the grace period slightly beyond the 10 days but... they don't have to per the contract they laid out.

but we could survive a Bitcoin value down to $122 at the current difficulty until the contract began it's rollup.

yes this is what i was remembering thank you for confirming so i can know i am not loosing my mind lol. So $122 price at current difficulty should not be problem as price is way above that point and difficulty seem to flat lined.  Wink for now atleast

Any chance of putting some mini game to earn gold faster then just keep waiting?

It has been suggested before and I am investigating the options.
Developing such a game is not something I can do myself (if it is meant as a flash/java game), and it will be expensive to hire a third party.

That being said, I am still considering this as an option.
lol you know what i am going to say when we say java / flash game PLease some one help the man make a Sim City style miner operation lol. Not only would it be cool no other site does it all the same thing so you would have a edge i think  Grin

wait what paycoin is now on cryptsy no way are you sure its not getting mixed up with some other coin with similar name? I am sure gaw would not let coins out of their control so i dont think its gaws paycoin on cryptsy. I really hope i am right lol
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Paycoin on: December 19, 2014, 04:01:23 AM
What is the straight scoop on the Paycoin buyback? I have read places that when Paybase comes online (Monday?) they will be pumping cash (said to be $100 Million) into the coin via a buyback of the coins mined this week @ $20 each. Is this really going to happen? I have tried reading through the imbecilic rubbish on the Hashtalk site and can not find a definitive answer to this simple question. Help me out here, please.

Also: The whole marketing spiel of Paycoin makes me ill.
"The People's Coin"?? Give me a break, did Karl Marx come back to life get a job as marketing director with GAW?  Roll Eyes Then it says "Bank's Hate Paycoin"  Huh When you start reading their hype they brag about being backed by "major financial institutions" (these are called BANKS folks), so apparently banks actually LOVE Paycoin. Then the deal about having to use GAW equipment to be able to be a miner after this week is over- why not just call it GAW coin?? Especially since the name PAYcoin was already taken.

LOL that is all i can say to this good stuff karl marx  Cool
1489  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: December 19, 2014, 03:47:20 AM
I have no doubt that you do not understand what I am saying, that is quite obvious. The entire Paycoin mining system is in essence a single pool controlled by GAW, which is the primary coin holder. It does not matter what fancy catch phrases are used to describe it.

I'd have to disagree with you here.  During POW, you can mine your coins into existence using any pool you choose into your own personal wallet.  All of this is outside GAW's control.  During POS, you are free to stake your coins in your own personal wallet, which is also outside GAW's control.

Thanks for pointing that out Sherlock. You think maybe I knew that since I am renting miners? Maybe you should scan back a page and see where this was already discussed.

Also: Better hurry up and rent some more miners, the clock is ticking down!

1490  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0013 BTC / GHS on: December 19, 2014, 03:45:07 AM
I see this on my dashboard on cloudminr :"-5.91% in -1 days Next difficulty". Can someone explain? Does it mean the difficulty went down 5.91% a Day ago?

Nope...difficulty changed - 1,37% a day ago.

I think this is the best link where u can find numbers: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

Yes -1.37% a day ago and now the cloudminr dashboard :

"-12.36% in 14 days Next difficulty" Big profits ahead  Tongue
LOL if and thats a big IF difficulty drops 12.36% next turn i will be happy as hell. I also would be a little bit worried as to where all hash rate is going to. Maybe its time to turn on my 3  7950 video cards to move the btc hashrate  Cool

the next difficulty drop wont be that large. right now about 40-50PH of hashrate is mining paycoin (probably 20PH of this is older-gen asics that were turned on again just to mine paycoin profitably). Over the weekend paycoin POW ends and most of that hashrate will flow back to bitcoin.

the drop will probably be -1% this time, and then +6% next jump. Any calculators that predict -10% or greater drop are based on estimates that the hashrate change in the last 72hrs will continue for another 11 days, which it wont
we are loosing bitcoin hashrate for that piece of shit con artist paycoin from gaw. Good lord i swear i cant escape from josh and his anal rape pandemic lol

For those of you who are curious, as I was, how far bitcoin would have to drop (at the current difficulty) before the AMHash miners were no longer profitable thereby ending the contracts...

I came up with about $122.

Much more good news about bitcoin and we just might see the price drop that far.
mmm so you came up with $122.00 bitcoin price for miners to not be worth it? If this is true and i can buy 3 bitcoins for the price of 1 now then i can imagine how much hash i can buy and pray for rebound lol  Lips sealed

Update!

We are back after a long maintenance period!  Roll Eyes

The following changes have been made.

1. There is now an automated withdrawal option, which pays directly to your SocialCoinWallet account. The minimum withdrawal is 100 satoshi (1 bit).
I have made this change to strengthen the relationship my site has with SCW.
Any withdrawals within the next 24 hours will be creditted an additional 25% from SocialCoinWallet Wink

2. The referral contest now includes prizes for top 20 referrers!
I was in the christmas spirit and got a good grade in my exam, so decided to expand the contest a little.

3. The referral page now only shows activated accounts.
This means, you will not appear to lose any referrals when I run maintenance and remove non-activated accounts. Only cheaters will be removed from your referral page.

4. The images on the site has been updated to keep the same theme all around.
Thank you, Dev Praks!

5. The price of Premium Miner membership has been reduced as part of my happy christmas spirit. Enjoy!

6. The resource price of upgrades have been reduced by 20%.
This is to match the lower amount of resources you gain after last major update.

EDIT: I will try and be available for live chat on SocialCoinWallet as much as possible - simply add me as a friend in there. I will of course also maintain this thread.
THAT was some killer down time was pacing back and forth trying to figure out what to do with my free time while snowed in. I am glad it is finally back up only so much porn a guy can watch

Dividends dropped, because BTC dropped in value last 4 days ($360 --> $310). Maintenance cost is calculated on average Bitstamp price of BTC for every day.
yeah i figured as much seems like btc prices tend to drop more during the holidays  Cry

1498  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 18, 2014, 04:44:35 PM
My most important concern is to be able to get out or get in as in the hashnet market, havelock is good, however i'm in for large quantities so if buying in havelock i have 5% bonus for buying 100TH/S not 6% as directly with AMhash, what i like from havelock is the ability to sell my positions in case i need it.
DAM so you bought 100 THS for your self only is this correct? Making me drool over here i dont even have 1  THS on havelock i am so envious maybe someday i will make it to like 1 THS haha  Cry
1499  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice for new users regarding CLOUD MINING on: December 18, 2014, 04:02:50 PM
I simply cannot imagine a scenario of CEX tripping belly up. What could happen? Alien invasion? An earthquake? A meteorite?
Even if the price of GH/s falls to zero they do not care because they charge for the maintenance costs. At some stage they will just turn off the miners but in this production cycle the old miners will be replaced by the new ones with better GH/s vs costs of electricity ratio. They can prolong this game as long as there are miners in existence and people willing to buy more hashing power at better prices. Pricewise they are fary ahead of any competition and they are selling very expensive GH/s with very expensive maintenance fees. For this money they can have cutting edge technology solar powered DC with dirt cheap miners.
That's why I think CEX is well and far from falling.
cex has solar power for the miners? If this is true that is so awesome alternative energy powering the alternative $$$$ i like the ring of that. If cex would cut maint fees by 50% of what they are now i think people would be all over them in a heart beat. I know i for sure would invest more in them maybe a whole 1 or 2 btc lol dont laugh im poor i know  Cry

If they have solar power energy they have higher costs. To cut the maintenance fees by 50% and still make money, they would need to move in a cheaper country and really think low cost. The price per GHS would go up a lot.
if they use solar power they might have higher costs at the start to buy solar panels and set up. Then thats all you spend the rest is used to ROI on power bill / solar panels. Most places i think are like 2-6 years dependind on cost of energy and amount of sunlight

For solar panels, ROI depends on how much the state is subsidizing the buying.
i guess you are right about that had forgot alot of states in the usa was offering to pay off some of the cost to get new solar panels for residental homes not sure if apply to company

Solar energy is usually more expensive but if you take into account the state subsidy or special situations (you have a home away from everything), you might ROI
Even with subsidies, solar energy is more expensive then other, "traditional" sources of energy. Not only that but solar subsides are generally only available to households and cannot be claimed by places like data centers that would be buying massive amounts of solar panels to power what is in their center

You are correct but maybe you can ROI if you are in the few states where the electricity cost and the public incentive to buy solar panels are high.
i agree and i hope that list grows in the USA and Canada hell even Mexico should do solar power with all the sun they have. I just think it would be so cool to have 100% hell even like 80% " in day time ofcourse, unless they got massive batteries for night " of a massive bitcoin mining farm to be powered by like solar and wind power combined.
1500  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: December 18, 2014, 04:00:09 PM
Hello,

I have a question: If i buy some units of AMHASH directly at their website (not havelockinvestments.com) and later i want to sell them, how do i that?
We will open the tranfer later. Then you can tranfer your shares to Havelock or Hashie.

Opened an account with you yesterday and bought 1TH/S over havelock, now, how do i see that hash power over my account on amhash site?

You cannot see them on amhash, you bought them on havelock so that is where they are. transfer abilities will open toward the end of the month.

i am counting down the days waiting for goodies  Grin so now i have xmas to wait for " as i know my wife got me xbox one lol " and i also get to get the transfer option alot of people have been asking for. I really hope security is like beefed up ALOT before they allow transfers for reasons that i am sure i dont have to name.  Cry
