1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: July 05, 2023, 08:43:53 AM
Casino platforms typically allow affiliates mainly to grow their business. A person just referred and earn is not possible in casino platforms. As you said everyone will have wagering requirements as well as their minimum deposit amount. There may also be other requirements. A person is eligible for referral bonus only if all those conditions are successfully fulfilled. Affiliates can easily gear up a person's earnings but referring without the terms will only be considered a waste of time.

Yes, you are right and that is why they offer the highest commission for their affiliate members. They do encourage it with special offers assigned to the affiliate link. A high converting affiliate would also get personalized offers and would be assigned an affiliate manager. I have seen quite a few good influencers.  The commission depends a lot on how much deposit it a referee did and how many times wagering was done. The money through affiliate commission is quite good but it does require a system to generate such income.
1482  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge One Million Dice Bets with Profit every week. on: July 05, 2023, 08:37:08 AM
Another topic by him that does not add any value to this board, as usual looks like another way to attract attention. I somehow feel that this guy is suffering from some kind of attention syndrome. He publically wanted everyone to leave gambling and now he is going back. A bad gambler and a super addict who needs professional help as he has lost his mind and does not have any clue about it. The next thread created by him would be ignored by me.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: July 04, 2023, 08:24:42 AM
I think it is safe to say that we've heard about some professional gamblers, right? The ones who does gambling for a living but I will not be advising anybody to do that as that is a very risky job and surely it is not right to do it without anything on the sidelines like investments and other businesses as if you rely solely in gambling activities, things will turn upside down for you because it is not everyday where you can have some good moments in this kind of job.

Professional gamblers generally play games that require skill rather luck and that is why they are able to make good profits. That being said not anyone can become a professional gambler as it takes a lot of effort, time, dedication, and good mathematical skills to become a pro. Games that are solely about luck cannot be considered a daily source of income. A few times luck can be helpful but more than profit you will always encounter loss with those games. These games are good if anyone is looking for pure entertainment. I would never recommend anyone to believe in gambling and think about it as an earning source.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: July 04, 2023, 06:51:20 AM
I can relate to what you are saying; none of the strategies or scenarios work out in the end. The house is always smarter than you can imagine. On various occasions, I have tried multiple strategies, like taking a half-minute break after every minute. Initially, it seemed profitable, but after some time, I started losing my profits and ended up with nothing.

Some days may be profitable, but most days you ultimately end up with nothing. No matter what strategy you employ to defeat it, the house always wins.
1485  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 04, 2023, 06:19:54 AM
Reaching 37k is asking too much from the month of July. It might happen in the next 90 days if more positive news come out. One thing I am certain that the price of Bitcoin would continue to hover around the 30k price point. It will not go below this price point it as it was in the month of June. Most probably by next month we might see the price breaching the 31k barrier.
1486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seniors vs Kids — in the future of Bitcoin on: July 04, 2023, 05:31:25 AM
Scams happen because they don't buy bitcoins, they play with altcoins. I think this is what makes bitcoin's image so bad, scammers use crypto to cheat because most people still don't understand crypto and bitcoin. Yes.... Scammers always know where to take their action, they use crypto as a fraud tool

I think the recent crypto hype is baiting scammers into action. They take advantage of circumstances for their own benefit. If they buy bitcoins, no one will be scammed, at least they will only lose if they can't hold onto the bitcoins for a long time, but no one is getting scammed and their money won't be wasted. But that's commonplace in the investment world

For our children, let them learn according to their wishes. If they love bitcoin that would be great, but there's no need to force it, just let them grow and make their own world

Scammers are becoming smart every day and are now coming out with new strategy which is not easy to understand by anyone. Seniors are once their target due to their lack of knowledge & understanding of cryptocurrencies. Seniors usually see Bitcoin as an easy way to multiply their wealth and the scammers find them easy to convince with the pretext of investment. As investing might not be that easy to understand for many seniors in the era of Bitcoin.

I am against forcing children to learn about Bitcoin, In my country few particular states have already incorporated Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the school syllabus of children. Now it would depend on them whether these children in the future would like to implement those learning in their regular life.
1487  Local / India / Re: CBDC/eRuppe wallet is currently being tested! on: July 03, 2023, 05:24:33 AM

I don't think the issue you mentioned with UPI will happen with eRupee because it is running on a blockchain and the transactions are P2P.
So if the eRupee is debited from your wallet it directly means it is credited to the other wallet.

I believe this is a good move because it will have the capability to solve many issues we currently have with fiat cash.
It will help in counterfeiting notes and will also help the government with anti money laundering.
It will also help in giving out loans, fight corruption and the capabilities are endless.

P.S: I didn't notice @pakhitheboss mentioned the video already else I wouldn't have posted it again.

Not a big issue, you gave a very detailed explanation of the video. I only saw the video and informed everyone to watch it and do their own research. I also feel UPI issues cannot be related to CBDC, there might be other issues that we will come to know when we start using it. I am pretty much excited with this new technology as I was when using UPI in the initial days.
1488  Local / India / Re: What do you think about Cardano? on: July 03, 2023, 04:25:20 AM

There are only a few projects doing it on Cardano so there is not much activity on it besides the memecoins they have. But there are tons of NFT and DEFI projects on Cardano that seem to be making progress on it.

The latest news I saw on Twitter about ADA was Vodafone releasing NFTs on the platform. Nothing really that might contribute to ADA being one ETH killer but for those who ikes staking I guess the token will still be attracktive.

Most of these so called Ethereum killer projects are doing quiet well in NFT space than Ethereum itself. That won't considerably affect thier price but might help them to gain good market cap. When the next Bull run comes that would automatically increase thier value. Still, they won't be able to kill Ethereum unless the teams show significant developments and regain the lost trust.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 03, 2023, 04:19:18 AM
From 5 years to Max 23 years is the minimum age restriction in gambling globally. You can read this thread if you are interested to know which country allows a 5 year old toddler. Age restriction in gambling, although in most countries where gambling is legal the age varies from 18 to 21. Most online casino and crypto casino follow the same law. If they don't then they risk losing their license.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does lottery rewards expire? on: July 03, 2023, 02:29:37 AM
Yes, they do expire. Depending on the lottery that you are playing and law of the land it is generally between 90 to 180 days. The same goes for online lottery too and it is recommended to always keep a track of the expiry date before and after the purchase of tickets. There are a few apps to help you with this issue. If do a Google search using the keyboard lottery ticket tracking apps. Some of them are from lottery organizers and some are paid apps. If you do want to use it then maintain a ledger with all the details of your lottery tickets.
1491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ATM firm 'Bitcoin Depot' will go public on Nasdaq starting July 3 on: July 01, 2023, 05:34:26 AM
This is great news, I have seen many great news related to Crypto and Bitcoin in general that I am sure Bitcoin is about to hit $40k ranges very soon unless someone does something wrong. **rolling eyes on Binance/CZ**

Also, these ATMs will give more power to the decentralized users and will provide an instant conversion to real world money. This is great.
Let's see how their stock does in the upcoming weeks.

I don't think getting listed on Nasdaq will drive the Bull market. What we are seeing is just the effects of ETF and if one of them gets approved you can expect Bitcoin to hit 40k.

Crypto/Bitcoin ATM does help in Bitcoin adoption but they are not the best place to buy or sell Bitcoin. The reason being high transaction fees, less to nil security and you might also face technical issues. It is better to use exchanges rather than ATM.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: July 01, 2023, 04:15:55 AM
I voted for sports betting and dice because the former is skill-based gambling, while the latter is luck-based. Although there are other luck-based games, dice provides me with more excitement and an adrenaline rush than any other game. As for sports betting, I particularly enjoy betting on cricket, especially the IPL and major ICC events. Analyzing cricket comes easily to me as I have grown up playing and following this sport. While I do follow other sports like tennis and soccer, the majority of my bets are on cricket.
1493  Local / India / Re: CBDC/eRuppe wallet is currently being tested! on: July 01, 2023, 02:02:13 AM

UPI had solved a big problem for us and has helped us with our day to day transactions.
What difference will digital rupee bring to the table will directly tell us if it would make a positive impact in India or not.
If digital rupee doesn't have anything different to offer then I don't think people will be interested in using it.

Personally, I believe there are some positive usecases for digital rupee but I wonder if the government has those plans with it or not.

The biggest difference between UPI & Digital Rupee is that one needs a bank account and the other doesn't need a bank account. At the moment it is not clear how to load the wallet without a bank account. It is still in testing phase and after the wallet testing is completed we would know how it will be done.

1495  Local / India / Re: What do you think about Cardano? on: June 30, 2023, 01:16:23 PM
As per my understanding Cardano got an opportunity and they lost it. Staking started recently, but you cannot expect it to perform similar to Ethereum staking. Although the results are better than Ethereum and when compared to the price it is more comfortable for anyone to purchase & stake it.

My opinion is that except Bitcoin (if you bought before 2011) you wouldn't be able to create financial freedom. That being said, the price point of Bitcoin at the moment is encouraging. I know that Bitcoin is too costly, investing in small amount can lead you to financial freedom. Whereas investing in altcoin is beneficial if you know what to do!

If you can DYOR on that project before investing.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 30, 2023, 12:38:31 PM
Smoking and drinking are bad habits too (for your health) and people still do them… the main idea is the same. Some people just don’t give a damn. Some people gamble just because they like it, they don’t care if they get rich or not from gambling at all. Some other people are greedy and they want to turn their 1 coin into 10 coins… some people play just to pass the time while they are waiting for someone. There are many other reasons too.

Long story short; Gambling fills a need in life and as long as that need exists, the gambling industry will not disappear from this world.
Yes, smoking and drinking alcohol is a very bad habit for our body,  yes we are all known that our body needs some alcohol but not too much because it will lead us to addiction and once we are in addict to that thing our self-control will be lost and every day We involve in it. Just like in gambling if we are too much greedy and we don't have self-control then we can say that most of a time we will want to gamble.
Smoking kills but I have not heard anyone die due to alcohol consumption. I might not be right as in I have seen daily drunkards and I have also seen addicts. I haven't seen anyone dying only because they are addicted to alcohol. I have read, seen and observed drunks getting hurt because of fights.

Comparing a gambler with an a substance addict like alcohol and smoking is a waste. My reasoning a gambler destroys the surrounding, by surrounding I meant family & friends. While a gambler destroys everything surrounding him/her.
1497  Other / Meta / Re: Cloudflare - Not a robot (maybe...) on Show All on: June 30, 2023, 11:20:10 AM
TOR browsers task is to stop anyone from invading your privacy. Cloudflare verification robot is designed to invade your privacy in order to determine that you are a human. It will never work when you are using TOR. I would always recommended no one to click on show all if your are using the TOR browser. It is better go page by page that may be frustrating for some but is comfortable if you are a privacy focused individual.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: June 30, 2023, 11:12:25 AM

I think everyone knows that there are high wagering requirements for bonuses that you claim with a deposit, but are there also wagering requirements for the bonuses that you get as a weekly or monthly reward for what you've wagered so far? I mean if you are a VIP member and you are given a certain amount of free spins or some money based on your wagers of the month or week, are those bonuses also subject to some requirements?

VIP or Loyalty program are good and they help you to maximize your profits. Still, they don't guarantee your winning, they are just like free multiplier which supports immensely to your win. Although it is not that easy to become a VIP member or be part of a loyalty program as you need to first fulfill certain t&c. One of those terms in general is to be a high wager client. There is nothing wrong with it as they are meant to attract gamblers to wager more and earn incentives.
1499  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for Website Recommendations on: June 30, 2023, 11:06:31 AM

The link scares me a bit and I had to check it with Fortunejack.com

Fortunejack.com FAQs confirms that your given link is official. FortuneJack Affiliate Platform at the bottom of their Affiliates in FAQ.

I see it as a phishing link if I don't check it and find it at Fortunejack.com

I do have an affiliate account with them that is why I was able to post the link in my reply. I am aware how some links can look doggy and therefore you did the right job in reverifying the link. Their affiliate program as per my knowledge at the moment is giving highest referral percentage. The others are also good but you need to be in their tier level.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 29, 2023, 09:39:47 AM
The loss of money, is perceived very emotionally, even if you play only in order to get adrenaline, a loss can be upsetting. But in the case of gambling, the rule applies when we play only with the money that we don’t mind losing, then in this case there will be no problems, and even in case of a loss, disappointment will quickly pass. But if the player set himself the goal of making money from gambling, and played for big money, then losing can have a very bad effect. In this state, you can not continue to play, the only thing worth doing is to calm down and take some kind of break if this is not done, then you can lose even more, and allow a situation in which the damage becomes too tangible.

How can you play with the mindset of losing. What I meant was that if you gamble with the not minding the money that you lost then I am not sure why are you gambling. You should be positive with your attitude that will help you in taking correct decision. Winning and losing are part of gambling that should be the mindset and not what you are saying. If you lose today it doesn't mean you will lose next day too.
