What's the price next year April 17th? i think 5$
Will huge supply overwhelm prices?

The promo on their website for long time looks like a dating app. I have no ideas why would a payment token be worth much. It dont even have own blockhain but depends on Etehreum. Also teh name confused me first. There is TRAC (OriginTrail) token.  Why to choose so similar name two years after TRAC is very strange.
1483  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 18, 2020, 02:41:05 PM
As we see everyday many people are dying every day in Europe and America and their economy is going down every day and economy specialties are guessing that the USA will lose his position as economy king and china will take over and we are already seeing that china economy didn't drop much and there already making money in this crisis.

Powers changes every day. It is normal a lot will change when covid-19 crisis ends.  But the real winners now will be countries that will in first wave have infected as close to 60% of people so no more lock downs will be needed. In New York half of tested are positive. In country where I live only 2%. So when first wave ends New York will be way more prepared for second way then most f other countries.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinGold is halving today on: April 18, 2020, 01:10:55 PM
Bitcoin gold is probably the first popular bitcoin fork that is halving the earliest. Bitcoin original and every of it's fork are halving for the third time and that's happening this year. This halving would give us some insight on what to expect on halving of BSV, BCH and BTC later. Though the hash involved in BTG are negligible compared to rest three. https://bitcoingold.org/halving/

BCH halved a week or two ago. BSV also haled few days latter. LOL You should research what you are writing about. Congecko is best source of crypto information https://www.coingecko.com/en/explain/bsv_halving https://www.coingecko.com/en/explain/bch_halving
1485  Other / Politics & Society / Re: China revised the number of deaths from Covid-19 on: April 18, 2020, 12:45:29 PM
China revised its official death toll for coronavirus on Friday, adding 1,290 to the number of dead.
Prior to the change the number of those reported to have died of the virus in China since January was 3,342. Analysts point out that this revision increases the numbers by almost 40%.

First when covid-19 appeared in China no one knew what it is. It is much easier for other countries that had tests available a month before first covid-19 patients appeared.
We have a pandemic so numbers from one country dont matter that much. 150000 people died from covid-19 why would 1200 matter? That is less then 1%.  and the died long ago. I guess they counted them to die of someone else then covid-19.  Most people worldwide that died have other serious medical conditions.

other countries did not have tests before chinas first case.

All other countries beside China had tests months before they had their first covid-19 case in their country.  If covid-19 virus would start in some other country then they would have a mess and had hard time to excatlly count how many patients died from covid-19.

1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero got listed yet to another exchange on: April 17, 2020, 03:00:11 PM
After it got delisted from a big exchange, good news that it's trading in a new exchange.

I am checking now on the exchange trading volume, let's see if this would help for the liquidity of Monero.
per info : https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/satang-pro/... the exchange is smaller compared to houbi, so I'm hoping soon it will be listed in big exchange also aside from the big exchanges it's current being traded now.

https://www.huobi.com/en-us/exchange/xmr_usdt/

You can trade Monero on Huobi global. There are 3 pairs. XMR-USDT, XMR ETH, XMR-BTC. Around $1.7 million volume in last 24h.  Huobi Korea delisted Monero and there volume was very low.

Monero will get listed on all exchanges. But fro sure will also be delisted form some just like any other coin. Sometimes even whole exchanges cease to exist and all coins gets delisted.
1488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Gold Leaving Bitcoin(The Digital Gold) Behind? on: April 17, 2020, 02:36:57 PM
Gold is up 14% in 2020 where it has been a horrible year for other markets like oil and metal industry like copper and aluminum, stocks, etc. And about Bitcoin, it is 4.1% down this year.

Bitcoin is so volatile, that it might have 14% year to date gains  before end of this weekend. And then whole article your post is base on is totally pointless.

1490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 17, 2020, 01:43:07 PM
I was thinking the other day when Monero block will increase for the first time. Moneropedia https://web.getmonero.org/resources/moneropedia/scalability.html says that blocks <= 60kB are always free of any block reward penalties.   So when i divided how much blockchain grew in March with number of transaction I got that in 60kb blocks you would put 660 transactions. Right now average is around 450.  So number of transactions needs to increase 50%. What with the current pace of growth can happen really fast. But if the next upgrade will reduce transactions size that will delay this event.

Big day tomorrow

1491  Economy / Economics / Re: USD will lose its status of being reserve currency? I am scared. on: April 17, 2020, 01:02:41 PM
USD will lose its status of being reserve currency?

No matter what will happen in upcoming years, this is a fact. Soon USD will not be a world reserve currency anymore. But question is what will it be. Normally it should be a currency of a country that is biggest economic power. So first Chinese yuan and latter Indian rupee. But big question is what Bitcoin will say about that.
1492  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2020, 12:41:56 PM
Life returning to normal in Denmark. Kids about to go back to school, cashiers are becoming as rude and dismissive as they always have been. Can't wait to see if we catch up to Sweden within 3 weeks.

I'm not so sure if Denmark wants to follow Sweden herd immunity tactics, immunity takes years and may not even be possible but I guess someone had to try.

They shot themselves in the balls.

You can say anything like that before we get final numbers. Maybe their GDP will decrease the same as everywhere else. Maybe number of dead will be same as everywhere else. We will have to wait a year to get all those numbers straight.  All countries that did very strict quarantine will get fucked big if vaccine will not be here and available before winter.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero got listed yet to another exchange on: April 17, 2020, 12:11:55 PM
I do not work with Monero and do not support this coin. I am a person who is against such anonymous coins that are openly used in the darknet to hide the criminal activity of people. it will be better for the crypto market without such coins

Monero works totally the same as current banking system works today. Sender know where he sent founds. Receiver knows where he got founds from. No one else knows that. If you want to find out you need to ask or sender or receiver. That is how banks works and that is how Monero works. I have no ideas what you did with your paychek this month. Only you or your bank can tell me that.  Transparent ledger crypto currencies like Bitcoin dont work this way and show transactions also to anyone else. That is definitely not good in my opinion.

Any money also Monero is used by everyone. By good guys for good deeds or by bad guys for bad deeds. You cant help that. You can only stop using USD. What will happen then if because bad guys uses USD we all stop to use it? How you will go buy hamburger? You will pay with a chicken or an egg. Well someone will then use chickens and eggs to buy bad stuff. Will you then also forbidden using chickens and eggs?

Monero is facing a lot of difficulties but it is still kicking and finding new exchange to be listed on. It got previously delisted in exchange but here it is, listed in a new exchange. There are really a lot of people who hated this coin and yet, its supporters are still there to believe in it.

Anyone can list Monero on their exchange. It is free to use for everyone. There is no one beside exchanges customers that push for that.

Different coins gets delisted form exchanges often from various reasons. No one care about that. When Monero gets delisted from some exchanges with almost no volume all crypto mainstream media writes about that and make up imaginary stories.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: April 16, 2020, 07:34:56 PM
I see a lot of small coins gaining value right now. Small demand pushes price a lot if there is no supply. It is very simple. AEON was extremely cheap. Now is 3 times higher as it was only 2 weeks ago. It wil have to moe much higher to attract more supply.
1495  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Increased Bitcoin Adoption on: April 16, 2020, 06:59:52 PM
Well, I' sure that situation we are all living now benefits to use and development of new technologies and inovation. Cryptocurrencies are among them, that is for sure, however I would like to see some concrete numbers and figures, otherwise this is just the question of impression. But I don't know if anyone at all is watching and measuring use of cryptocurrencies and how adoption developes according to current factors.

Here are concrete numbers 9,612,337   Bitcoin transactions was made in January. although Covid-19 was in Wuhan in January we cant say it influenced world economy much. Wuhan started lock downs only at end of January. 8,904,203   was made in March. So a 7% decrease. Bitcoin is used 7% less now with covid-19 spread all over world as it was used before covid-19.  Thing is that Bitcoins first use case is being speculative asset. And Bitcoin transactions will increase when price of Bitcoin will go over $12000.
1496  Economy / Economics / Re: Proposed Bill Would Give Americans $2,000 A Month Until Economy Recovers on: April 16, 2020, 06:13:08 PM
more helicopter money on the way?! everybody over age 16 would get $2k/month, no questions asked:

could this pass? 17 co-sponsors and counting. i never thought UBI would be on the table so soon, but with the economy on the verge of collapse, unemployment skyrocketing, social unrest around the corner.....it doesn't seem impossible anymore.

thoughts? what are the limits of money printing? Shocked

You cant really call it an UBI if it is just a temporary. UBI is a regular pay that happens every month.  Problem is that we have no ideas how ling countries will be locked down and how much GDP will drop in 2020. Helicopter money is one way to prevent total crash. But helicopter money is useless if country is still locked down. Since then people cant locally spend money. They will stack it or spend online and then helicopter money will lose all effect.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero listed to another exchange on: April 16, 2020, 04:27:00 PM
I think this is a good move and a great one by Monero, after a recent delisting that suggest a decline in value of the project.
The best thing is to do researches and decide on which part our investment will be based.

A new exchange, in Thailand will bring about a mass adoption from Thailand i believe

Yes since Monero is a coin that is used a lot and not just used to be speculated about price, it is also important to be available world wide for people to buy.  Lately over 10000 Monero transactions are made daily. Number doubled in last year after static 2018. Low fees of 0.2 cent per transaction helps a lot with adoption.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Monero got listed yet to another exchange. EDITx3: 5 new exchanges added Monero on: April 15, 2020, 10:20:21 AM

1499  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US starring at 18 months lockdown - Neel Kashkari on: April 14, 2020, 05:39:28 PM
Neel Kashkari, the head of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, feels that US is going to be locked for 18 months unless a miracle drug is discovered to stop coronavirus from spreading ahead. While I do understand his point of view, but I feel that such a statement is reckless and unnecessary as it’ll only create more panic among the people. Furthermore it’s speculated that some 16 million jobs have already lost their jobs in the US, hence it’s not possible to keep economy closed for so long.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/america-should-be-ready-for-18-months-of-shutdowns-in-long-hard-road-ahead-warns-the-feds-neel-kashkari-2020-04-12

Even 10 years from now it will not be the same as it was last year. Wold has changed. But that dont mean that anywhere in the world we will see a total lock down that will last for 18 months. Countries already adapt to live with virus. And they will adapt even more. With preventing spread of virus and with expanding number of hospital beds. Vaccine will be here much earlier then in 18 months.  Lock downs cost countries way to much to not focus 100% to get vaccine as fast as possible.
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 03:08:06 PM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?

Bisq is operating normally for some time now. They even cant prevent trading since it is decentralised exchange. For a day before they managed to patch bug they advised all traders not to trade.
