What a classic Lukaku, he simply can't score from first attempt Cheesy. At least he made from second attempt. Good game between two similar level teams. Onana made some great saves for Inter, and Otavio red card gave some advantage for Inter in the end and then they scored. Should be great second leg game.
Can't comment on Leipzig - City game without watching it. Guardiola didn't made any substitution in whole game. How and why???
It was great round for me. I'm up by 7 places to 13th and I'm just few points behind Top 10. Didn't believed that's possible to up that much in playoff round. And congrats to casperBGD for winning Yellow Cap!
1482  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 22, 2023, 08:36:35 PM

You are right, and yet you watched it. But Zelensky's speeches are not particularly popular in Russia, I think no one watches them at all. And Biden's recent speech from Kyiv did not arouse any interest, except perhaps for the fact that the United States asked Russia for guarantees of his safety a few hours before the unannounced visit.

Now Russia is the actual guarantor of security in Europe, remember this. And even in Poland, Biden spoke from behind a bulletproof barrier because he is afraid and knows there is a new sheriff in the city. Grin
I didn't watched, I have better ways how to spend 2 hours of my life than listening some crap. Zelensky's speeches isn't popular in Russia, but every his word and action is getting analyzed on Russian TV every day from early morning till late evening. And damn how these propagandists got triggered by Biden visit in Kyiv.
You say that USA asked Russia for security guarantees, I would say they told them don't try to make something stupid.

Its funny how the president of the USA had to travel by train, as if he's afraid of all those Ukrainians he armed to the teeth
with all kind of AA defense, but not too picky about choosing targets, even if its their own ministers
Armed to the teeth, you mean 1 Patriot system, few Iris-T and some old Soviet stuff. If you think that's enough to cover whole huge country and it can be called armed to the teeth, then I have nothing to say.

Liverpool had such powerful start and everything looked more than good when they were up 2:0. But when you concede 5 goals without response at your home stadium, you only can dream about next round. I'm curious when last time they conceded 5 at Anfield last time.
Meanwhile Napoli dominate in Frankfurt. 0:2 so far. Have bet on Napoli, but expected that Eintrach will have something more to offer than they're doing today.
1484  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 21, 2023, 09:03:40 PM
Putin speech today was boring and waste of time, he again repeats old stuff. 8 лет дамбили Бамбас, NATO preparing to attack Russia, nazis in Ukraine, Kyiv regime, Russia isn't at war with Ukrainian people (all civilians killed in this war isn't Ukrainians according to his logic), pedophilia is normal thing in West. And offcourse, special mikitary operation goes according to the plan. Boring, nothing surprising that people in audience were struggling to not fall asleep Smiley.
Putin also mentioned Edelweiss Brigade in Ukrainian army, like it was Nazi division. But he decided to ignore fact that Edelweiss was part of Rosgvardia. I don't even talking about that in Russia there is supermarket, mineral water, or skyscrapper called Edelweiss. Named in honour of nazi Smiley.

Well, it expired today, it happens.
It didn't worked anyway, as there was no inspections made in last 3 years.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: February 21, 2023, 07:20:40 PM
Despite that Liverpool is bookmakers favorites today, I don't have much faith in them. BTTS makes sense, but I expect cautious game. I'll rather go with Real not to lose, similar odds like BTTS.
I'm going with significant stake on Napoli ML. Yeah, Eintracht is looking good, this team is understimated much like previous season, but Napoli is one of the biggest forces this season. And I don't fully agree with argument that they're home team. They can play good away, destroying Ajax 1:6 is best example.

Left my predictions for 2nd round. Predicting squads of teams isn't my strong side, so, just went without doing many changes from recent games. Nice that you included question about Six Nations.

Great with a good start with 3 points!

I watched the NBA All stars game and it was very entertaining.. It was only D fox who didn't get a point in the game.
I'm glad that I decided not to sacrifice my sleep and didn't watched it. In past it used to be more cmpetetive and interesting. Now I watched highlights and there is just some 1 on 1 plays, while all other players are literally standing and chilling. Not my stuff.

1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: February 20, 2023, 08:49:19 PM
I will be boring and suggest you to invest into Bitcoin. Or better don't invest at all if you have no idea what you're doing.
Investing into altcoins without zero knowledge is just wasting your money. C'mon, I'm myself with quite decent experience in crypto, I struggle with altcoin investments, how can suggest something. It's your money, you should make your own research and take responsibilitt, instead of asking financial advices from random strangers.
And when it comes to investing into Bitcoin, you also shouldn't do it blindly. You have to know what you're doing.
1488  Other / Meta / Re: Can we have a true discussion without the sig tail wailing? on: February 20, 2023, 08:33:21 PM
Shortly, no, we can't. Signature campaigns is significant part of Bitcointalk forum and it seems that theymos don't have intentions to remove it. I fully understand your concerns that with sig campaigns discussions often isn't real, people post just to get paid. It brings many spammers here, but at the same time it gives motivatiin for smartest people here to be more active - you probably noticed that most of best posters here wearing paid signatures. You been here for long, and you should remember that before merit system situation here was much worse, or I would say terrible. Now it's much better, though still far from perfect. And it can't be perfect when people have initiative to get paid for for posting.
If you can't stand these paid signatures, you always can look for alternative platforms, but I doubt that you will find something better.

Post in serious discussion where signatures are not displayed? Some people do that because they are annoyed of the signature spam. You could make a local rule where you stop people with advertising signatures from posting in the topic and then report them when they do.
Serious discussion is great place, but there isn't much activity. In past there was more action.
And there is no need to make local rules, better just make self-moderated topics. Spammers just fear to post there.

Honestly I don't want to be dick, but you're also have an intention to join a signature campaign, just saying.

Sevilla shat the bed, shame if we're surprised.
Yeah there is a good reason why we avoid teams like Sevilla on our tickets. I was even tempted by them today since they were starting to show some semblance of the form in recent weeks. They even managed to record some solid results but in typical Sevilla fashion they blow it up as soon as we start to believe a little.
Well, today they weren't favorites, Rayo is way above them on the table, so, away draw probably isn't that bad score. It's not same like failing to win against Cadiz or Elche.
@buwaytress, congrats with a win Wink. I see we went with same answers on NBA, so it can't change situation.
C'mon Barca, one more goal please, I need it for my bet Cheesy
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com ⚽️ Bundesliga Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: February 19, 2023, 09:18:27 PM
Seems that I'm not alone who got burned by Union draw with Schalke... Well, now we have 3 teams with 43 points and Bayern - Union next week. And Borussia is looking very impressive after World Cup break.

A very unlucky red card for Bayern very eraly in the game opened the door for Gladbach. Upamecano barely touched the Gladbach player, so very harsh decision extremely early in the game.
It was harsh decision, but Upamecano was last defender remaining, if not foul, Gladbach player would go 1 on 1 with Sommer, so it was last hope foul.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 11:20:20 PM
good news from Valencia, Voro is out, and Ruben Baraja will take the team into relegation fight, not sure will we make it or not, but it will be better than with Voro

first match and really important one, with another struggler Getafe, and a chance to put them down, and maybe reach safety after next round
Why you're so confident that it's good news? Never heard about Baraja before, seems that he only managed Segunda Division teams. It doesn't looks like most promising replacement. Or Voro is just so bad that he can't mange team for more than few games and any replacement is better option than him Cheesy?

Oh and yeah, Sociedad let me down, Villareal looks about to do the same.
Sociedad disappointed me too, while I'm somewhat not very suprised about Villarreal loss. Atletico - Athletic tomorrow and I'm going to look for yellow cards market in this game.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: February 18, 2023, 11:10:36 PM
Finally Feynoord won against their direct competitor. After draws with Ajax, Twente and PSV, now they won against AZ. It was difficult, AZ scored first and PSV only managed to score goal which let them to win game on 89th minute.
Now their lead against AZ is 5 points, but AZ can drop to 4th place if Ajax and PSV will win their games. In case of Ajax win, it will be just 3 points between them and Feyenoord. While for PSV it's not going to be easy, they're going to Utrecht tomorrow.
1493  Other / Meta / Re: The curious case of sticky topics created by authors with negative Trust on: February 18, 2023, 11:00:08 PM
How can I explain this better...? In my opinion, having a good material, but presented by someone with negative Trust is like a stain on the face of the topic or on the face of the respective board. Imagine a corrupt politician presenting a good material in front of public. If everybody knows he is corrupt, that material loses its credibility. However, in our case it also leads to losing the credibility on the respective board, since it contains sticky topics from those which are scammers or which have bad reputation, negative feedbacks, flags against them and so on.

How would it be to have a sticky topic written by CSW or Roger Ver inside Bitcoin discussion board? Would you believe anything from it? Furthermore: wouldn't you ask yourself "How was it possible to have here a sticky topic written by that clown?" -- do you understand now what I mean? Smiley
I get your point and it's not perfect situation. Idea;;y, stickies should be written by someone with perfect reputation. From general image perspective, it doesn't looks good, even if content of post is good. But I think it's not right to compare users that you mentioned in OP and CSW or Roger Ver. Biggest clown in crypto and someone with compromised account - maybe a bit too extreme comparison. And negative trust doesn't always can be received for scamming something, sometimes it can result of disagreement between DT members, even if it's not right use of trust system. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that Lauda had negative trust even when she was active as she was contraversial personality.
I doubt that we will hear theymos stance on it, but from what I understand, he don't want to mix moderation and trust system much. But it would be interesting to hear what forum staff thinks about it.

1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com ⚽️ Bundesliga Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 10:18:30 PM
Seems that Gladbach become most scary opponent for Bayern in Germany. It's already 5th game in a row which Bayern failed to win against them. And last time when they won at Gladbach stadium was very long time ago - back in 2019. I t was great game with 5 goals and that extremely early Upamecano red card helped for Borussia a lot.
Great chance for Union to return to the top. They're playing with worst team in league Schalke tomorrow.
Meanwhile I'm stuck at 1tth place. I can't move up or down for whole month or more. How it's even possible when we are so close to each other.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: February 17, 2023, 09:23:42 PM
what was the game looked out, saw just a score, being on a small vacation wasn't able to watch it, but will be at home to hear stadium crowd in a re-match
I watched this game not in full on second screen. From what I saw Partizan didn't had advantage, Sheriff had their moments, especially that one must score moment in 1st half when they hit post. In general, this game wasn't easy to watch - bad quality pitch, empty stadium, it didn't looked like knockout stage of UEFA competition.

Back to Partizan, was the result correct or did Sheriff deserved a point? Seems not so long ago when they were terrorizing Real Madrid!
From what I saw, draw wouldn't be against logic. That season when they were doing miracles in Champions league, Sheriff played above their level, it will be very difficult to repeat something similar. Now they back to reality. Also, I think thatthere was lot of changes in their squad after that season.
1496  Other / Meta / Re: The curious case of sticky topics created by authors with negative Trust on: February 17, 2023, 07:53:16 PM
I don't see big issue there. If content is still good, I don't think their topics should be removed from stickies just because author of it received negative trust. And it would a bit strange to rewrite their topics by someone else. But there is another question - some pinned topics hasn't been updated for many years and it's obsolette now. It would be good to update it, remove or replace with new ones.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: February 17, 2023, 07:37:15 PM
i think i missed that part of the rules.

Has a week gone by without a football game? Never! There will always be football games because the smaller leagues resume when the major leagues end and there are also other FIFA competitions. It is not a problem to add other sports, but I advise you to stick to the major ones like tennis, basketball, and mixed martial arts (UFC), which are extensively transmitted to other regions. The project's goal will be defeated if sports like baseball, golf, and cricket are added.

We don't want the best guesser to be crowned

As they Cro2 said, majority of questions always will be about football. But after all, it's not called Football Fanatics League, it's Sports Fanatics league. I have no idea about cricket or American Football and predicting it would be blind guess for me, but I don't mind it, as such niche sports questions will be on rare oocasions. Majority of non-football questions will be about global sports like tennis, basketball and etc.

6th question was the perfect example. We can't make it clearer than that. If we say champions league matches this week you all should be able to know which 4 games we are targeting. If you are lazy to check that is your problem. If you are betting I am sure you know which 4 are playing this week.
I think it's normal that there is some chaos and uncertainity in first week, even if you tried to be as clear as possible. Things will settle in week or two when people fully will see how things works here.
1498  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin testnet faucets and scam ads on: February 17, 2023, 07:00:56 PM
If it would be some ad banner, I wouldn't blame them for it. Usually owner of website don't have much control over what is shown there. But as I understand, owner of this faucet put this advertisement himself and it rotates together with ''Automated Cryptocurrency Trading Software'' - another scam probably.
I don't see big issue there. Not good, but we see scam advertisements at every corner. Testnet faucet isn't business, but you still need money for hosting and domain. But it's probably possible to get it by advertising something legit.
1499  Other / Meta / Re: [List]Gambling Board Spammers; Concerns, Solutions & Suggestions on: February 16, 2023, 11:22:23 PM
There is too many topics abiut Bundesliga. I do all my Bundesliga writing in the pool topic and I am doing the same for all major leagues.

I belive that discussion there is the best possible since those are actually people that are willing to gamble money and not just spam the boards. So we actually already have those moderated threads and when you remove spammers and those in the pools you are left with almost no audiance.
Yeah, I also already gave up with main topics of leagues, it's impossible to have constructive discussion there. I only post in pool topics and for UEFA cups I use self-moderated topics made by @buwaytress. But there isn't much activity, probably spammers afraid that their posts will get removed.

Is there a good paid streaming platform where I can watch games?
There is services like DAZN, but it's not cheap and you will need good VPN to use it. Alternatively, you can try some IPTV services, it's not expensive and have all main sports channels.
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: February 16, 2023, 10:51:38 PM
2:2 between Barca and MU, what is more positive result for MU. At some moments MU even dominated, but goals that Barca conceded is really cheap. Especially that one between Ter Stegen and close post, you don't see such mistakes from him often. After substitutions Barca had moments to win game, but didn't made it. We won't have Gavi and Pedri in 2nd leg and it's huge loss.
Sevilla may struggle in La Liga, but Europa league is their playground. They not just won against PSV 3:0, but they done it in style. Bayer - Monaco game was most impressive with Monaco taking lead 2:3 on additional time already.
Juve and Sporting failing to win their games is biggest disappointment. Though, on Juventus game it was questionable moment with handball and not awarded penalty.
