1501  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 14, 2020, 02:36:24 PM
Just when we thought that China had banished corona from it’s land suddenly new cases began to pop up at record pace, and now the health experts believe that it could be a second potential wave of Coronavirus in China. At this stage China will once again be forced to go into lockdown, and do you’ll think that it’s economy will be able to recover quickly from this second lockdown too?.

There will be no relaxation in any country before vaccine will get made. Difference is that for second wave China and other countries will be way more ready. There will not be lack of anything. We have pandemic some time now. We will simply have to learn to live with the virus until vaccine.  Yes the economy will suffer a lot.

1503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 and Altcoins on: April 14, 2020, 12:04:42 PM
Wanna hear your thoughts about the upcoming BTC halving we will all see soon and the reflection it will have in both the BTC price and adoption.

Halving will reduce pressure on supply. That is all. For price to increase you need increased or at least same demand. With a huge recession that is hard to expect. Just look what is happening with small business in China after 3 months of lock down. Expect the same in Europe and USA 2 months from now.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can POLIS surpass DASH and become nr. 1 in the payment industry? on: April 13, 2020, 02:59:16 PM
Can you explain what is a masternode market and what that have that to do with payment industry?
1505  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank Of England (CBDC) Central Bank Digital Currency - on: April 13, 2020, 01:45:23 PM
3. Government will have more transparent view of your funds and expenditures
4. What little privacy that cash used to provide - will be gone
5. Common people will it difficult to park their illegal income, if any

3. Not just government but anyone. Me you, your neighbour. Government can already right now get information from any bank about anyone, your neighbour cant.
4. Yes and also what privacy that banks offer will be gone.
5. Not just illegal but also legal. All your income and spending will be known to anyone.

Only way to prevent all this is to use opaque ledger crpytocurrencies.
1506  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 13, 2020, 01:04:53 PM

Problem is that when GDP shrinks as it drastically will now because of Covid-19 lock ins. Then this old debt % increase. And then you add new debts that will governments make since there is less income and even increased costs and most likely this debt as percent of GDP in most countries will double.

This is old news VB1001.
These figures are from 2017.
In 2019 Italy DEBT/GDB is 134.8%.
but this already old, due to coronavirus impact:
https://www.reuters.com/article/italy-ratings-scope/update-1-italys-debt-to-gdp-could-easily-top-145-scope-ratings-idUSL8N2BJ8MH

145% to 160% forecast for 2020.

Brace yourself. (speaking to me, actually).

Countries that managed to increase debt from 2017 to 2019 are extremely delusional. In that time country debt should be decreased by 10% or more. It was the only time to do it. In next years it is natural that will increase.
1507  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: April 12, 2020, 06:40:42 PM
In the last 6 weeks average volume was around $50 millions a week and open interest around $6.5 million.  As soon covid-19 uncertainty started happening volumes shrank.

1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 12, 2020, 04:30:47 PM
Huobi are idiots for delisting Monero but so what? And Monero not getting traded there just simply means Huobi users don't use Monero.

Monero's about privacy and people have many DEX alternatives to it, so I don't see what's the issue. No volume means no demand, so nobody is using it, no biggie.

You can still trade Monero on Huobi Global https://www.huobi.com/en-us/exchange/xmr_usdt/   You cant trade Monero on Huobi Korea. Unless you have Korean bank account you cant trade any coin there anyway.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coin to watch out for this year 2020. on: April 12, 2020, 04:12:41 PM
I am focusing on TRON and ...

If you search this forum you will found out that Justin Sun is a well known scammer that even plagiarised Tron white paper. How you expect you will get rich with his token and not get scammed is beyond my imagination.
1510  Economy / Economics / Re: Cutting of Salaries in Indian Companies - Failed Future? on: April 12, 2020, 02:40:28 PM
Cutting of Salaries in Indian Companies

Many companies will fire their workers and many companies will totally cease to exist. World will be way different a year from now as it is right now. On other hand some businesses will flourish and even some totally new businesses will show up. Many will become millionaires and billionaires just because of covid-19.
1511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 12, 2020, 01:57:36 PM
Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?

I dont get where you see that everyone predicting that?  Dow Jones made more then 10% this week. That is like Bitcoin would make 50%. Bitcoin is behind all that stock optimism. If stock market is not wrong ( it could be) then Bitcoin will follow.

The feds are printing money non stop and pumping the market is why.

Monday - 60 bill
Tuesday - 60 billion
Wednesday 60 billion
Thursday - 2.3 TRILLION to hide unemployment.

Printing money is only bullish for Bitcoin. OP claims that everyone is bearish on Bitcoin. I am asking him who are those bearish people and why are they bearish.
1512  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This Is Our Last Chance to Protect Our Privacy Amid the COVID-19 Crisis on: April 11, 2020, 01:37:24 PM

Tracking mobile phones in Korea worked to contain the virus though. They did it just when someone infected who was in the plane, they contact all those in the plane and let them isolate themselves. This is sort of a very effective to them. We might not like this survellance as we want privacy but this works in this kind of crisis.

It dont really work when you leave that phone at home.  If you are infected you should stay at home and countries have inspectors to check that. You dont need any other surveillance tools while you already have them.
1513  Economy / Economics / Re: Just a remark about Bitcoin, Gold and Water... on: April 11, 2020, 12:59:12 PM
I think, Bitcoin is similar to WATER. In the Nature, there is water in the clouds, not gold Cheesy
Any opinions? Wink

Gold was used as money not because it was so useful but because it was so rare and hard to get. Bitcoin is money it is not a food or something.

1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 11, 2020, 10:52:33 AM
We all know cryptocurrency. We Buying and selling different types of altcoins in different exchanges. Many of altcoins have the same features, total supply, blockchain, even number of decimals, But in their prices, there is a huge difference. So, there is one question that appears at this point that "What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin ?". Is it makes a high price by listing on many different exchanges or the team works behind that altcoin/project? Or something else. This is a big question which all of us want to know.

Use case. Only coins that will be used will have some value. All 1000000 the rest will be worth close to nothing. You have to monitor number of transactions and know what are those transactions for. With transparent ledger crypto currencies you should also look at the value that was transacted.
1516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: April 11, 2020, 10:18:18 AM
Did you see the pump and support by the whale? It might be the americanpegasus. She might be back with her money from driving on Uber hehehehe.

Yes. Today even uber driers can be a AEON whales and move market. Lack of demand and supply. But this fact might actually attract some traders. Specially now when there is lock in and uber drivers have little to no work.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MCO - The silent MonsterMoon on: April 10, 2020, 04:43:24 PM
It will blast in days... don't forget to buy MCO MCO
But we are already months after you said that Just in days?you had been bumping this thread for more than 2 years yet what happen?

How? In OP it says MCO is 700 sats and right now price is 700 sats. How can you say he is profited? He said he was holding coin for a year before I have no ideas of that time but in last year and a half he made no profit.
1518  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 10, 2020, 04:03:41 PM
It is very likely that we will be soon witness another crisis after this pandemic event many people around the world are becoming jobless, in other word no financial to face the reality when this such phenomenon exit, add up the mortgage and bills to pay for, it is sure pain in the back to workaround and see what we can do for the upcoming month during this pandemic.

After medical crisis we will get economic crisis and after that we will get political and society crisis. In some countries will be bigger then in others but almost no will be able to avoid them.
1519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 10, 2020, 03:02:46 PM
Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency?

Nope the future of crypto currencies will be coins like Bitcoin or Monero. Fulfilling the best block chain use case. A plain boring money.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AEON] Aeon Speculation on: April 10, 2020, 01:26:38 PM
Not much speculation here.

Because of so low demand the price is so low that there is no supply and a small trades can change price a lot. I just noticed that BTC price was actually in 2016 levels. Shocked  Very hard to see any more decline.
