1501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we ReBrand Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2017, 02:31:11 PM
Bitcoin is just starting to have positive reviews and press releases. It is starting to look good to ordinary people. Rebranding it will just wipe all the previous efforts to put bitcoin where it is right now. Even just having a new name will bring confusion and maybe do more harm than good.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 in a million on: February 15, 2017, 01:15:54 PM
It will just cost you more as time pass by. But for me, it is not important to belong to that 1 in a million group. It is more important for me to get as much bitcoin as I have before the price becomes too high to avail a bitcoin.
1503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back up! on: February 14, 2017, 09:40:48 PM
I'm in dollars waiting for a drop, but this is funny i'm on loss now. BTC has strong will to rise up. I didn't made good decisions, i started to panic and this is my punishment now. If you want to trade on BTC-e don't listen btc-e trolls.
Some of them are pretty convincing.

Do not ever listen to trolls. They'll manipulate you to death if you keep on listening to their false forecast.
1504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of people that treat Bitcoin solely as an investment? on: February 14, 2017, 04:28:56 PM
Under what circumstances should Bitcoin be treated as investment and to what extent should people think about its use as a global currency?

We cannot put a line when we should treat bitcoin as an investment or a currency because it can serve them both. Bitcoin is better than fiat that way. You cannot get fiat and store it as an investment. Just by hodling bitcoin, you already possess an investment. And you can still use it as a currency or mode of payment anytime you want.
1505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bloomberg Starting come round to bitcoin? on: February 14, 2017, 04:00:36 PM
A little good publicity is always nice, although I feel like an article like this won't do to much.

Not much, but enough to start a positive reaction from readers and others not yet involved in cryptocurrency. All positive things/articles counts, whether they have large or minimal effect to pushing bitcoin toward mass adoption.
1506  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade sites that do not fee? on: February 14, 2017, 03:10:26 PM
They need to have fee of some sort in order to survive the cost of maintaining a trading website. If there is not fee and it is not P2P, beware, it might suddenly close one day and runaway with your funds. Most trading sites collect very small fees anyway that you almost do not notice them at all.
1507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Round Table Meeting on: February 14, 2017, 01:57:33 PM
If you have followed IamNotAnonymous, satoshi has been very busy lately writing bitcoin songs and organizing bitcoin round table. He must be very close to satoshi to be able to follow his activities. Nice one OP, keep up the charade.
1508  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 14, 2017, 01:23:59 PM
I get bitcoins everywhere I can. From faucets, games and rounds, services, signature campaign etc. I cannot buy bitcoin directly because it cost so much even during the time when I started doing this. The bitcoins I earn I try to grow thru buy and selling bitcoin and trading margins.
1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The world's first calculator used to calculate the possible price changes of BTC on: February 14, 2017, 04:20:56 AM
Space calculator is the world's first calculator used to calculate the possible price changes of the BTC.
It can also be used for the price calculation of any other investment goods such as shares, futures, gold, etc.
Also,it is free,and so simple.
You just choose the highest point of X and the lowest point of Y, input the values of X and Y in space calculator, click the "Calculate" button, and you will get the answer.

More,see
http://www.kjjsq.com/en.html

This calc just need two input and already can compute price of bitcoin. I read graphs, make technical analysis, read news, follow twitter and still can't get a good trade. How this calc do it is beyond me.
1510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can i make Bitcoin/money from a third world country on: February 14, 2017, 02:09:22 AM
There are a lot of ways to make bitcoin. Do not confine yourself on doing faucet, paid-to-click, paid-to--view jobs. They only earn pennies. The best thing you do is develop a skill and sell that skill. It will make you more bitcoin in the long run.
1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Have A Bitcoin City! Soon We Will Have Bitcoin Country! on: February 14, 2017, 01:54:38 AM
Wow! And it is just the beginning. If they continue to promote bitcoin, they can make it legal in the whole country. Great work guys!
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: Japan now #1 in volume on: February 10, 2017, 03:37:16 PM
I guess we are a few days from the "Fucking Japanese" posts then.  Roll Eyes

If they start manipulating the price like China is doing, bet it will be. Now, I am too used swearing at china that it will take some learning curve to swear at japs  Grin
1513  Economy / Economics / Re: Better adoption through use of mBTC on: February 09, 2017, 07:20:41 PM
No one is forcing anyone to buy 1 BTC at one go, just like no one is forcing to buy a bar of gold. It is already expected that if you can't buy in bulk, there will always be retails. The same goes with bitcoin. And changing the terms to mBtc does not seems to change any thing or add any appeal into it. It is already set term and people are already used to it, why go the trouble of changing the standard?
1514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: February 09, 2017, 04:53:13 PM
It is not a good idea, it is the best. You do not even have to use a usb, a piece of paper with private keys will do. No one will expect a scrap paper with random numbers and letters would amount to anything, right?

1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: February 09, 2017, 02:55:55 PM
snip
But we should be careful when choosing a signature campaign, because there's the case of the
signature campaign which did not pay the participants. I prefer joining the signature campaign
is paying with bitcoin than signature campaign that pays with altcoin.

Just to be sure, always choose the campaign that escrows their funds or those campaign that is running for a while now. There are lots of campaign so you will not run out of choices.

1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto an A.I.? on: February 07, 2017, 02:36:07 PM
Couldn't Satoshi Nakamoto be an A.I. Bitcoin's implementation was certainly complex involving 31,000 lines of code. Bitcoin was probably created by an A.I. What do you guys think?

Iron man has not invented Jarvis in our timeline yet so it is not yet possible. Windows is written in 50 Million lines of codes, so what do you think wrote it? Aliens?
1517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Backlog in the Blockchain on: February 07, 2017, 01:40:24 PM
If you want a smaller fees in bitcoin stay overnight before your bitcoin goes inside your wallet. Anyway it's cheaper to send btc using blockchain.info wallets this is according to my experience. That site also has a lightning fast transaction compared to other sites. So when you are doing business ask your client to use blockchain.info wallets so you can receive their payments very fast.

There is no significance what ever wallet you use in sending bitcoin. What matters is your fee per bytes. It will get thru whether you use electrum, blockchain or whatever wallet as long as you put large enough fees for miners to prioritize your transactions.
1518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we have a bitcoin day? on: February 07, 2017, 01:31:47 PM
I also like the idea, however it just came through my mind that as far as i know FIAT doesn't have like fiat day or something like that. So why would us? Tho if we are going to take it further like business innovations then it might really be a good one. Or if the topic is all about the improvements using bitcoin as a medium

If ever, it will be the first currency to be commemorated.
Since there are just few bitcoiner per area, I think it should be done on a single area and all bitcoiners will go there, just like comicon. And OP will organize and finance it since it is his idea.  Grin
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is banned on: February 07, 2017, 09:26:25 AM
Lol after all i didn't know that China ban bitcoin? Which is in fact they are the leading power holder in terms of mining? If i am not mistaken that in fact there were mining companies in china like bitmain?

And PBOC is even regulating the exchanges. I do not know where he got his information but he is very well misinformed.
But in case China does ban bitcoin, then we are all dead, or not.
1520  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ask Satoshi Any Questions ? on: February 07, 2017, 03:30:42 AM
My question is:

Why did you leave us hanging? If you really believe in your creation you should stand by its side and finish it so all this fuss about scaling and everything will end.
