1521  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying bitcoin in Europe without KYC on: December 04, 2022, 03:42:56 AM
I could find which truly is KYC less,
Having country restrictions was an early sign that they could actually ask for user's KYC even if it didn't cross trade liimts.

up to a certain threshold.
Too little threshold. There are some p2p services that even offer more limits than that without KYC.

Q: do they allow direct sending of bitcoins to personal wallets on purchase, considering they have their own centralized wallet?
1522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 7 Rules for Writing a Good Post Title on: December 04, 2022, 02:59:35 AM
I personally don't really think about the guidelines for writing topic titles. Not that it's unimportant, the rule of thumb (for me) is that the title should contain a 1-line summary of the main topic. Just that.
In fact, even with the wrong topic title, some users (using ad attributes) prefer to comment on it rather than ignore it. lol.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Alternative to Bitcoin, Your Alternative is Bitcoin. on: December 04, 2022, 01:06:07 AM
In an investment context, maybe yes. Bitcoin started the birth of all cryptocurrencies and tends to get the first place as the most recommended investment instrument in all regulations in the world. In the context of use, altcoins also have more specific functions which (maybe) are difficult to implement using bitcoin. So altcoins remain a priority option for some use cases.
1524  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paypal Bill for Non-Users on: December 03, 2022, 01:42:00 PM
~
Thanks, I canceled the request.

You can double check this if you're really worried, by initiating a forgot password! you should receive an error if you don't have an account associated with the said email.
The trick works, my email isn't yet registered. Weird enough to say, Paypal can charge even someone who isn't a user to pay for someone else's bitcoin purchases.

Quote
Do you mean their platform buying service? afaik it's not available in indonesia (or was this country because of your vpn or something?). Was this an unsolicited email?
Yep it was unsolicited email and yep it doesn't work in my country.
Just curious what are the chances of this type of scammer withdrawing money on a platform that possible to chargeback.
1525  Economy / Exchanges / Re: DEX with orderbook on: December 03, 2022, 01:12:16 PM
Is there any dex with spot trading?

That's a lot bro, it depends what network you wanna trade, have you checked on https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/dex?
Some have an orderbook feature, such as

BSC https://trade.orionprotocol.io/

ETH https://forkdelta.app/
Multinetwork https://helixapp.com/
Stellar https://www.stellarx.com/
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why We People Cannot Think Like Whales 🐋 🐳? on: December 03, 2022, 12:22:58 PM
It means according to you that more money makes whole whale than Why SBF that has Biggest perpetual Exchange FTX that got Down in matter of days, he become Billionaire to Zero and Now he is Hiding.
My point was that There are some influentials like Big Exchanges and also some big Companies that we do not know are  doing this. Always money is not case.
My point is that they know our secrets and also our mistakes.

Whales manage their own money, SBF doesn't. Whales wouldn't think they had to resort to dirty means to increase wealth. SBF so. The SBF doesn't use the true whale's way of thinking. My assessment, he is'nt a whale, he's an astute backstage performer.

Just roasting you a bit, your way of thinking is really messed up. Tongue

For the ETH network, here you go.
https://trade.dydx.exchange/trade/btc-usd

Note that the DEX however only serves tokens on one network. That means you'll use the wrapped-tokens version if it's a coin (not the original coin). Be careful.
1529  Economy / Service Discussion / Paypal Bill for Non-Users on: December 03, 2022, 05:23:30 AM

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This morning I got an invoice message $ 549.99 for 0.049 Bitcoin and I made sure I really headed for the official paypal bill (not phishing). And strangely the message landed in one of the emails that I had never registered. Have someone ever bought Bitcoin in Paypal and how it works?
I'm just worried that my email is registered without me knowing.
1530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ponzi scheme scammer uses BTC to cover tracks on: December 02, 2022, 12:07:09 PM
I considered entering the scheme because the scammer is likely to let people take out profits under 10k.
What if they later change it to just under $100?

Quote
But I do have to register with my passport, and I don't feel comfortable uploading this to a scammer's website
At this point, you've lost.

It seems that you're really ambitious with that profit even though there is no guarantee at all that the next 9 months the capital you put in can even be returned intact. I think you better go to the casino site.
1531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 01, 2022, 01:03:50 PM
cycle bottom is in.

1532  Economy / Speculation / Re: December Has always Proved to Be a Good Month For Cryptocurrency industry on: December 01, 2022, 12:53:47 PM
We know that we cannot speculate Bitcoin price
Go to this board[1] to find new thoughts, people are speculating bitcoin price every day without limits.

But I can say that as history repeats we can get chance and also a better judgement and it can be very risky.
The end of 2020 was the start of the rally, the end of 2021 was the start of the crash. I wasn't holding out much hope for year-end or first-quarter history, just excited when it was bear season I had the fiat to collect sat by sat.

@fennic, Alt accounts on the forum are not prohibited, but from the style of writing, it seems to me that the OP is your alt account, and in addition, sharing merits between alt accounts is not something that is looked upon in good faith. If anyone wonders why I concluded that it is about alt accounts - the style of writing random words with a capital letter is more than evident + a fast reply in 3 minutes.

My feelings are the same as yours
They both know everything Grin

I know I am not pro or old here but I know little bit.

1533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm finally saying goodbye to CEX and Centralised projects on: December 01, 2022, 11:23:33 AM
If you are been told in November of 2021 that Luna will go to zero will you believe it?
If you are been told in November of 2021 that FTX will go bankrupt and others like 3AC, Genesis and Voyager will be on the list too will you believe it?

If they are centralized services then yes, it's all very possible to make them collapse. It just depends on how they play influence let alone start offering benefits that seem very strange to users. But that doesn't mean I'm anti-CEX at all, they are quite flexible in some ways compared to DEX. Only place a small amount of money to enjoy trading.
1534  Economy / Economics / Re: A Hundred UK Companies To Adopt Four-Day Working Week With No Pay Cut on: December 01, 2022, 11:09:08 AM
I see only one problem - what would such companies do if their clients have five-day working week? Will they have working shifts, (like working Mon-Thu, Fri-Mon, Tue-Fri and etc) which means hiring extra employee? Or put up with loosing clients and profit?

If the company is oriented towards the production of goods, it isn't a problem. Making schedules between clients is actually not only limited to the company's active hours if they have special staff to handle this (generally not bound by working time).
It might be a problem if it's a service company like logistics.
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil Has Approved Bill Recognizing Bitcoin As a Payment Method. on: November 30, 2022, 03:53:04 PM

Apparently they have specific differences between bitcoin and digital assets. I also don't know whether bitcoin circulation will become dispersed in centralized services, given that this plan only appoints the central bank as payment manager. Although the population is more than El Salvador, this policy is no better than El Salvador itself.
1536  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when trading gives you heart problem. on: November 30, 2022, 11:02:57 AM
It occurred to me that the chances of heart failure abounded in the shitcoin pump-dump session last year. The market fluctuation was a bit crazy at that time and stupid investors dipped their fingers a lot to follow the trend especially on rugpulled tokens. The value of $4.2B[1] is fantastic 2 times greater than the drama ftx loss.

1537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there best way to seek people's attention on bitcoin? on: November 29, 2022, 01:52:12 PM
if there is any modalities, methods or best way to attract and seek attention out there
Yep, with any method of spreading the word other than F2F, sharing your own experiences is most important.

I never hold any bitcoin or something else but I love it

Wondering what something else is, including never having made any transactions? meaning never at least feel the benefits of bitcoin. How do you spread the word that bitcoin is useful?
1538  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Wondering how much my account is worth ? on: November 29, 2022, 09:19:17 AM
It may be worth a few million shitcoin amounts to a bounty hunter, but it's worthless even as collateral to borrow on this forum.

I was simply wondering what it was all about
It mostly about people who are economically desperate, they allow selling anything no matter what.
1539  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BlockFi files for bankruptcy protection. on: November 29, 2022, 08:41:45 AM
But I am glad that the news didn't have any impact on the price of bitcoin.

Several news media have published companies connected with FTX in the aftermath of its collapse, and people have been imagining the worst that they'd soon follow a collapse. So the effect of the news this time will no longer have much effect on bitcoin.
1540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: November 28, 2022, 12:57:47 PM
Build your business while you have plenty of time to do both (business and freelance),
Some cryptocurrencies aren't good for your mental health especially if you have a lot of centralized service utility tokens in your portfolio.
Do you mean, OP shouldn't choose crypto investment?
I never said "don't". The OP wants the best option of the two and that means isn't business the best here? Several types of businesses are able to yield regularly and continuously.
For whatever reason, investment is a risky financial instrument, especially in high volatility assets.

I'm assuming the OP is a beginner since s/he started a question on this board. "When a newbie is interested in investing, then tell them the risks first."
