Today games at least ended with only one surprise result,that game of Newcastle although I think that they played really well and Bournemouth just kinda parked the bus and defended the result.In the other games of today no surprises with Manchester City winning easily and also Tottenham winning with a tennis result against Leicester.From the results of Leicester so far they look like relegation cannot be avoided.
On a personal not there is only good when you are near the last places in the standings as you can only come up in the rankings.
Newcastle killed most of the bets today and its a really sad result for them. They had an easy 3 points and barely got that one point in the end . Funny thing happen, not sure if this has happen before, but recently, Carlos Alcaraz losses his first match since becoming the world number 1 to Felix-AA in the Davis Cup, 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-2. And the thing is, this match is on Alcaraz home country in Spain.
I don't know if we have someone who can dig the records of let's say Roger Federer when he become number 1 and who is his opponent and if he won or not in his first game, or any other newly crowned number 1 in the past.

Leicester city still loss to Tottenham Hotspur today again. They are still battling in the relegation zone and are at the buttom of the PL table. Although Leicester played well today, their defense once again proved to be their downfall. After giving up 11 goals in their last two games, they should definitely take a break now to restrategize.

Fullham and Aston Villa managed to get full points today in their respective matches. I'm sure some people doubted them today to win, but in the end they both got the points. Wolves are used to be known as a team that usually worries Manchester City , but irrespective of the match taking place in their ground, City will show them no mercy tomorrow. I will look forward to the Wolves vs Manchester City match which will be played today for my time zone. Manchester City are the favorites in this match because they are a team that excels in terms of the quality of their players. I don't believe Wolves can afford to make Manchester City drop points, it's difficult to do. Manchester City will win that match, I think this expectation is totally reasonable. It is certainly good for Turkish football that the Turkish teams have taken some points. In fact, the Turkish teams have fallen far behind internationally. While they used to always achieve significant results in the Champions League, for example. I think United achieved a very businesslike victory, also remarkable that Ronaldo was once again of value with his goal. In my eyes United is the best team in the Europa League, but just like last season that doesn't say much. Then we had Frankfurt and Rangers in the final, who in theory were not even among the top 10 teams in the EL.
Turkish football took a big hit in the last few years. Cadiz did not win a single match and more importantly, they did not score a single goal in 5 matches. I never thought a team's attacking lineup could be so weak. If Cadiz's attacking lineup was a bit strong, I'd say they might be able to get back to the truck slowly. But their attack is very weak. Because of this, I don't see any chance for them to get out of the relegation zone at the moment. They will face Valladolid in the next match. Valladolid is not a strong opponent. But their condition is better than that of Cadiz. The match will either draw 0-0 or Valladolid will win. Cadiz is the most potential candidate for relegation this season even though Laliga has only entered week 6. They have so far only collected 1 point and conceded 14 goals without scoring a single goal against the opponent. It makes me think that this season they will no longer be lucky to stay in Laliga. If Valladolid fail to win this match then I think it is a big loss for them. For the first half the game was still a 0-0 draw, there weren't many chances but I hope Valladolid will complete his mission today with a win. Indeed this can still happen but when we talk about betting I think if I were then I would not place a bet on Lyon because even if the chance of winning is still there, this is only a small possibility of all the possibilities.

I think Ajax are a good team but are not built to lift the champions League season after season, what happened to them reaching the final was a fairy tale journey, it happens once in a long time, so disappointed that Tottenham cut that story short, I think Paris Saint Germain wants to put that trophy inside their cabinet,it has been a long time and I think they have a better squad to do that now, last season was an adapting process for Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos I think these two can makes a difference this season, while Manchester city seems to have putting what has been missing in their team by bringing a striker like haaland so I think they might nail it this season. Ajax need a miracle to reach the final in the Champions League, but it is always possible if they can impress in every game and progress from round to round until the final. Their chances are very low compared to other teams, so I'm sure their journey this season in the Champions League will not reach the quarter-finals. Qualifying for the round of 16 is ok for them, but who knows even though Liverpool and Napoli seem to be stronger than them. The Ajax team is strong enough. And they are famous because of their amazing match strategy and gameplay. Despite having relatively few star players, Ajax's performance is very commendable. However, Ajax does not have the squad to qualify for the Champions League final. I don't even think they will qualify for the round of 16. They lost against Liverpool in the last match as well. I have two betting options for this match:
Galatasaray win @1.75 and BTTS @1.83. I feel like Galatasaray will win by a score like 2-1 or 3-2 maybe. Over 2.5 goals @1.83 also can be a good option of course in this case.

Slovacko on the other hand scored two in second half, to equalize against Koeln, and it is 2:2 there (interesting team Slovacko, first round played 3:3 with us in a very dramatic match)

Yeah our Partizan ended in a draw and im pretty sad about it we were much better then Nice and had amazing chances to score. Ricardo Gomes missed big chance in the end of the match and could have got us those three points. First of all, a lot more than 500 million, one Mbappe cost 180 million the first time he was bought + contract extension was accompanied by a signing bonus of 300 million. It is really sad to see him go, but he should have done it a few years ago. We have already forgotten what kind of a player he was because the last 5+ years he was forcing it although he was physically unable to cope.
If we boil it down to numbers alone, we can always discuss that Nadal or Đoković are better than Roger. But for me the 'eye test' is the most important factor when deciding who is the best player and there can be only one player on top.
Federer is the essence of how tennis should be played. One of the most impressive athletes of all time.
I think for the generation that really saw Roger won the Canadian Open in early 2000's and become one of the big 3 and the GOAT, it really sadden to see him retire like this. However, it's obvious as you have said that he has lost his prime already in the last 3 years and although he has competed and won tournaments, it is not the same Federer because of the wear and tear on his body. He had accomplished a lot and for me he is just a shade above Nadal and Djkovic, so personally he is my top 1 regardless of the numbers. Federer is one of the biggest players in tennis history but to me he is just under Djokovic and Nadal. For the best in history nadal and djokovic are fighting heavily but i think if Djokovic didnt miss all of this tournament due to this stupid protocol he would have already had 24+ grand slam titles for sure |

Başakşehir shows positive progress in every game it plays this season. They started their group games with a different Hearts away win. They passed the difficult away game Beşiktaş with victory in the Turkish Super League. Besides Bertrand Traore i must say that new transfer Philippe Keny also contributed to the attack. Fiorentina is having a bad season. In the first match in the group, they could not beat weak Rigas at home and lost to Bologna in the league at the weekend. Başakşehir match will not be easy for Fiorentina. A game with a high probability of a draw.

Eh, Lazio's about to make sure my ambitious acca dies on the very first leg, need to score 4 in about 40 minutes, not that I don't think they cannot (who am I kidding), they're just probably going to make it worse now. United got a scruffy goal and Penaldo made it 2 as well, so all is well with the team, except a small matter of Sancho not making it to Nations League, ouch.
Lazio 1 - 5 Midtjylland, one of the worst results and I doubt most people expected to see them losing, yet to see them destroyed literally.. For ManU, they won and CR7 scored a penalty, his first goal since? Hopefully he will perform better from now on. I'm looking forward to Fenerbahce's clash with Rennes. The odds for the match surprised me. I honestly didn't think rennes would be such a favorite.
Both teams are unstable and the result will be unpredictable.
