Good round for Serbian teams. Crvena Zvezda won against Maccabi, though, they almost choked in the end, after wasting solid lead. Wade Baldwin, who had career night with 38 points almost made buzzer beater from the middle of court which would lead to overtime that was close.
Partizan won against Bayern confident, Virtus had no chance against Barcelona.
Interesting game between Zalgiris and Baskonia. Bookies have no favorite there, giving 1.90 for both team wins.
Efes - Real and Fenerbahche - Olimpia games postponed after terrible disaster in Turkey.
1522  Economy / Reputation / Re: First Bitcoin earning (Signature) on: February 09, 2023, 09:07:09 PM
Congrats with your first earnings. It should be great feeling! I still remember my first earnings from signature campaign. Initially I didn't believed that someone can pay money for posting on forum. I realized that's real thing only after I got first BTC to my wallet.
From your recent post history (in local board), I came to know that you are from Nigeria. Its very interesting to have a well english spoken guy from a third world country.

English is widely used in Nigeria, it's official and most popular language there. So, maybe it's not so surprising that he have good English skills. And I think it's more like stereotype that people in so called third world countries don't speak English. Opposite, try to find someone talking decent English in France or Spain. Probably not easiest task.
1523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏅 Paris 2024 Olympic 🏊 Discussion & Predictions 🤺 Summer Games 🏋️ 🥅 🚴 on: February 09, 2023, 08:38:18 PM
But if they allowed any age, what would be the difference to other competitions like the World Cup?
And what would be a great incentive for the national teams to also invest in their youth teams and develop soccer in their countries?
I still believe that soccer in the Olympics is better this way because it is a great differential, you will see players that will possibly be playing in their national teams in a few years.

Another thing I haven't commented on, but five-a-side soccer would be a very nice category to include in the Olympics.
Without age limitation it would be become more prestigous tournament. In all other sports, winning World Cup or EURO is very important, but Olympic gold is biggest achievement that you can get. And I doubt that getting medal in Olympics is among main reasons why countries invest in football development. They do it to grow up players for clubs and national team.
5 on 5 football, never heard about it. There is already 3x3 basketball or Rugby 7 in Olympics, so, why not. Or it would be interesting to see futsal or beach soccer added

By the way, they released the pictograms of 2024 Olympics, take a look guys:

You can see better in high definition here: https://www.paris2024.org/en/pictograms/

What do you think?

It looks very different from pictograms that we had in previous Olympics. I agree with post above that some don't look clear enough to see what sport it represent. I prefer more minimalistic style.
1524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏅 Paris 2024 Olympic 🏊 Discussion & Predictions 🤺 Summer Games 🏋️ 🥅 🚴 on: February 08, 2023, 08:55:27 PM
The age limit was established in 1992, and it has several good reasons.
I didn't agree with it until a few years ago either, but now I do.

  • With the age limit, the competition becomes different from the World Cup, and with chances for different teams to win or get better positions, like Nigeria in 1996, Cameroon in 2000, and Mexico in 2012.
  • Countries are encouraged to invest in youth teams to strengthen soccer as a whole.
  • Young players have the opportunity to participate more, rather than the same players in the major competitions.
  • The soccer players who participate in other competitions such as the World Cup are used to competitions that make a huge amount of money, often more important than the sport itself, and this in my opinion does not exactly fit with the Olympics.

For these reasons above, I believe they made a good choice in limiting the age.
And yet they allow 3 players over 23, so the biggest soccer stars still have a chance to participate.
I don't agree with you. In most sports competitions Olympic Gold medal is biggest achievement that you can get. In football, Olympics probably is just a bit more important than FIFA U-20 World championship. Without biggest stars interest in Olympic football tournament is low and probably not many can name winners of few last Olympics.
Look at basketball, NBA players have huge contracts, but they play in Olympics without getting paid for. Or best tennis players always participate in Olympics without getting rankinf points for.
In Winter Games hockey have similar problem like football. NHL don't want to release their players and without it tournament lose lot of prestige.
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏅 Paris 2024 Olympic 🏊 Discussion & Predictions 🤺 Summer Games 🏋️ 🥅 🚴 on: February 07, 2023, 09:23:07 PM
Finally Olympic games will be at good time for Europeans to watch. For the first time since 2012 London, we won't have to watch Olympics at night or early morning.
If you already mentioned new sports added to Olympic programme, it's worth to mention that they dropped out karate and baseball/softball.
About Russia and Belarus, don't to go into politics here, but my opinion that they shouldn't be allowed. It's not just war, but also doping issues of Russia, don't forget that in previous Olympics they had to participate as neutral athletes without a flag.
1526  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Our prayers and supplications are with the people of Turkey and Syria. on: February 07, 2023, 09:03:32 PM
It's shocking to see huge apartment buildings falling like house of cards just in a few seconds. It's more shocking when you know that it's full of people who had no chance to survive.
My thoughts with people of Turkey and Syria who are affected by this huge tragedy.

I half expected this thread to be littered with conspiracy theories about how this could be a response to them getting f16s, but I guess it’s still early. Prayers to the citizens of Turkey and Syria.
BADecker is already doing his job in other thread.
1527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: February 07, 2023, 08:53:38 PM
Few days ago we discussed about potentially having Sportsbet logo on F1 car. And today watching Alfa Romeo launch, I noticed Stake logo on their car. They become name sponsors of team, deal worth $100 million in 3 years. Interesting part that they haven't even mentioned word crypto in whole their press release.

It's time for your move, Sportsbet!

New Red Bull car looks very good and can't wait to see it on the track!
Good, but same as always Cheesy. But in general, 2023 cars in launch looks almost same like last season. Teams don't want to show their real cars now.
1528  Economy / Services / Re: Earn Thousands of dollars monthly helping migrants getting job contracts on: February 07, 2023, 08:41:03 PM
It sounds shady and I think that people who will get involved here may get serious problems and risk isn't worth money that you can earn potentially. After all, it's illegal immigration. I'm not very familiar with this stuff, but how it's possible to employ person who don't even have permission to be in that country.
I think it's very likely that not just these poor migrants, but also people who will help will get scammed or will have problems with law enforcement.
1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: February 06, 2023, 09:28:58 PM
Finally had time to read everything. It would be great to get into Division 1, but getting into lower division wouldn't be less interesting for me. Trying to get promoted also sounds fun. Prediciting American football, cricket or e-sports sounds a bit scary for, but as you said, it will be football mainly and major sports like tennis, basketball or F1, I'm ok.
Really liked World Cup competition, can't wait for this one to begin. You guys together with Sportsbet come with really big thing, I'm more than confident that all 3 divisions will get filled fully.
1530  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: Gambling > Gambling Awareness board on: February 06, 2023, 09:04:15 PM
You raised good question, but I don't think that new board is needed. It's likely that spammers simply will move to this board. Maybe one pinned topic about gambling awareness in gambling board  is needed with important information and warnings.
Also, in general, here on Bitcointalk gambling is only shown in positive way without showing dark side of it. Maybe it's not perfect example, but I think that in Gambling/Gambling discussion board similar warnings like we have in Investor based games section is needed.

It is already live man, you are not keeping up with most important happenings on the forum  Grin

It was posted in the Premier League thread keep up man lol. Edit: I signed up twice and had to delete, that's how excited I am lol.
Thanks, guys! Didn't had much time over the weekend and didn't checked forum actively, so, offcourse I had to miss something very interesting Cheesy. Checked how this competition is going to work and damn, it's big thing.
Back to La Liga, backing Rayo to win tonight.

Typical game of Barcelona, it's completely one-sided, but again they struggle to make something dangerous. But as Xavi said, at this time of season with intensive calendar getting 3 points is most important thing, rather than trying to score as many goals possible. So, we can expect another game with 1:0 score, but so far in 2nd half Barca struggle.

And one day finally Elche win in LaLiga, and was a really good win against Villarreal, but the sad part its when you look the table and see them so far from the next team to catch up.

Well trofo so we are gonna wait for this news, i hope i can do better this time, but as always you need a bit of luck to progress like always.
Elche win had to happen sooner or later, but it wasn't easy to expect that they will do it against Villarreal. But it was deserved.
Probably worst round in betting for me. Backed Villarreal, Betis and Real Sociedad. BTW, wtf Betis 3:4 Celta, that's crazy.
I don't even talk about Real loss, but my money wasn't there and it's great result for Barca. Atletico draw with Getafe probably is least surprising thing last round.

Anyway guys I have some good news. Some of you were involved in World Cup competition Sporsbet sponsored so you know what to expect and I am happy to inform that we have agreed to lunch its big brother. All the details coming over the weekend. Be sure to join, places will be limited and this one will be big Smiley
That's great to hear, I definitely will join it. Please post message here when you will start, I don't want to miss Cheesy.
1534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Polish League - Ekstraklasa Prediction & Discussion Thread ⚽ on: February 05, 2023, 08:56:51 PM
yesterday we had the first two games of the 19th matchday
due to a heavy snowfall the match between wisła płock and warta poznań was cancelled...
so there was only one match in which widzew łódź and jagiellonia separated 1-1
Widzew - Jagiellonia game also were suspended for some time due to heavy snow, but when it stopped, they resumed game. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's a bit too early to end winter break in end of January - beginning of February. Other leagues in this region resume their action a bit later, closer to end of February.
Both leaders got their wins, Rakow won 1:0 against Piast, Legia won 1:2 away against Zaglebie.
1535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: February 05, 2023, 08:45:51 PM
That Feyenoord draw with Feyenoord goes against logic. Feyenoord dominated game, especially in 2nd half, but PSV managed to score 2nd goal when they already were one man down. After all, Feyenoord made comeback to 2:2, thanks to Jahanbakhsh goals, but draw isn't good outcome for both teams.

as I said, Ajax is the only team that can win in series, and 8 points advantage that Feyenoord once had was nothing compared to that fact
Seems that Ajax is back on track. Very comfortable win against Cambuur and completely all their main opponents - Feyenoord, PSV, Twente and AZ dropped points. Twente and AZ done it against weak teams.
1536  Other / Meta / Re: QR Code Forum Avatars? on: February 03, 2023, 09:41:20 PM
Interesting idea. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I remember some users having QR codes on their avatars in past. Question how effective and actively used it would be. After all, most users who aren't in signature campaigns don't free place in their avatar area. Also, I doubt that many just would scan that code. Probably some text under avatar in personal text area is needed to attract user to scan it. Something like ''Scan QR insert your phrase here''. And as Loyce said, QR's don't work on websites that well. It fits better for TV screens, street billboards, paper and etc.
1537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euroleague 2022/23 Season on: February 03, 2023, 09:07:37 PM
Partizan destroyed Zalgiris and now is 7th on the table what an achivement by my team. Won a 4.00 odd on partizan to win and over in points. Easy money today and i think this is just a start from our team. What a streak by Partizan.
Solid game of Partizan in front of 15k Zalgiris fans. When make 60% successful 3-pt attempts, you simply can't lose. As I said earlier, it may be one of key games in fight for Top 8. But everything is so close that few wins or losses can change situation dramatically. I hope that Euroleagye is considering to introduce play-in like in NBA because now tournament is so competetive that 8 places isn't enough.
In other game Olympiacos achieved important win against Efes and now leading together with Real. While current champions Efes now is just 11th.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euroleague 2022/23 Season on: February 03, 2023, 10:28:39 AM
Main game today probably is Olympiacos - Efes. Currently Oly is leading Euroleague and they are undefeated for long time. Efes is still fighting for Top8 and still aren't playing stable. Bookmakers are favouring Olympiacos clearly - 1.65 for their even, despite that they will play without Sloukas again.

Partizan is playing Zalgiris in Lithuania tonight, should be a good match
looking at past results between the two, home team usually wins these, and odds are pretty on value @1.71 on Zalgiris to win

@LTU_btc, what do you think will happen tonight?
Zalgiris looks very vulnerable now without their main guard. They were destroyed by weak PAO last week, also lost Lithuanian league game, what happens rarely. So, 1.71 odds looks q bit strange, I would avoid it. It can be one of key games for both teams in fight for Top 8
1539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: February 02, 2023, 11:40:10 PM
As for team sponsors, when will we see Sportsbet.io on one of these cars? I think the best would be either on Aston Martin or even on Mercedes with the color matching perfectly with the company's logo.

Ohh yes rdbase! That would look sick no doubt about it! Even if it's an Aston Martin or a Mercedes , both cars have colors to match Sportsbet origin so yea , that would be insane to assist in the next coming years.

More than this , I do remember well that Steve had tried to catch a partner with RedBull some years ago ? I might remember wrong but I know for sure Steve tried something with RedBull.

Yea , I'm on the same page with you with Mercedes and I do hope we will see a mix of Silver Arrow and Magenta Black as that would be the perfect scenario for me haha Cheesy
Maybe it wouldn't look good on Aston Martin British racing green color, but yeah, on Mercedes it should look great. I think it also wouldn't look bad on Ferrari Smiley.
There was a lot of crypto related sponsors in F1 in recent years, but I think we didn't had any sportsbook there so far. So, it would be cool to see Sportsbet logo there one day.
1540  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Few Trusted Escrow Provider on: February 02, 2023, 10:44:00 PM
Thanks for update! But fact that significant number of people from this list become scammers or ruined their reputation. Escrow isn't just some random service, it's thing where people trust other poeple with their money, and often it's big money. It shows that even most trusted members can turn into scammers one day, especially when there is big money on the table.

Does anybody know why Blazed has been inactive for the past 27 months?
No idea, maybe someone who have closer contact with him may know. But seems that he is another famous Bitcointalk member who disappeared strangely :/.
