this video sums up my experience with actm.

1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Summary of Phinnaeus Gage's Investigation into Brock Pierce Thus Far on: May 28, 2014, 05:40:37 AM
I didn't know what to make of all this at first glance, but it is starting to make scary sense.
What can one do about all this?
Very disturbing
1523  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Are Some of The Craziest Religions Out There? on: May 27, 2014, 08:39:26 PM
All of them are crazy.
I especially distrust the ones that insist they are not a religion (Buddhism and Yoga) Mostly these two appeal to western seekers who think that because they are not the traditional brainwash of their Anglo parents that that somehow makes them different.

Religion was made to control the masses. They all take take take and offer nothing in return. End of story.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea for a physical shop on: May 27, 2014, 08:32:26 PM
too many "moving parts" = too many points of failure. Automats all went out of business for a reason. Also; try and find a laundromat these days, they are becoming scarce for a reason= upkeep and repairs eat all profits.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All aboard! Who have you convinced to step on the BTC Train? on: May 27, 2014, 01:15:24 AM
I've got all my family and friends interested, only a few have dowloaded wallets, none have bought any btc. (they all want me to give them some though Sad )
just today however I convinced a local non-profit art gallery to take btc donations. I am going over tomorrow to walk them through the wallet/security things and to print them off qr code to display and hopefully get money donated.
this is thier website, http://ministryofcasualliving.ca/
I guess they will have to install a donate btc button on there too, any suggestions for a good, free "donate btc" app to add to the website or is a qr code and public address good enough?
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: 7 digits before the end of the year. on: May 26, 2014, 10:23:48 PM
seven digits, but with a decimal somewhere around the middle.

7 digits? As in 10 million USD per coin? Now that would be something... I think it is more probable to have a digit somewhere in the middle, $1000 to $10.000

no
like this; 0.000001

If you are wondering why ken has been silent since the 20th...

On the 20th IceDrills main man:
Well, in case you were wondering what Simon was up to in Amsterdam:

On the 21st some other folks join in...

Declaration of Gregory Bachrach, Liquidbits CEO (? May 14):

And finally, for the moment, the memorandum summing it up (from Liquidbits' perspective) for the motion it made to hold the bankruptcy hearing earlier.  The motion was granted, and the hearing is tomorrow (Fri 23 May):

Let's play "Where is Ken" - these guys are trying extremely hard to stop some deal...
I guess we wont know till after the weekend.
This could be really good...
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Autumn Radtke murdered due to something she knew about Brock Pierce, et al.? on: May 23, 2014, 04:00:28 AM
brock pierce's activities were an "open secret" and if he was going to kill everyone who had damning evidence against him there would be hundreds of bodies piled high. he's a chicken-hawk, not a murderer. get your conspiracies straight.

localbitcoins.com, live in person, face to face sellers and buyers. no need for a bank or verification.

but study up first, be careful, use escrow!

it's a jungle out there, kiddo!
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin-pizza day on: May 22, 2014, 09:30:28 PM
You're calling this a pizza? I'd rather call it an cake, i hate these pizzas pizza has to be thin not be like a cake.

agreed.
real pizza, in Italy, is thin and crispy, often with very little on it - maybe some oil and a bit of cheese and whatever fresh veggies you have at hand, a little sausage if you like, then cook it in a wood fired, stone oven.

Dominoe's, on the other hand, reminds me of a dead animal on the highway that has been run over hundreds of times and then left to moulder in the rain. Don't even start with me about Papa John's...a worse pizza was never imagined, not to be taken internally, will induce vomiting.

Americans have no appreciation of true cuisine, sorry guys.

as long as the divs are aggressive when they arrive, then I'm ok to wait a few days.
1537  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: May 21, 2014, 12:59:21 AM
so, how long after the 21st are the divs going to be sent out?
tell me it wont take weeks/months/years, like every other simple clerical detail with ActM always does, please

always a mystery with ken.

lets hope he's at least getting a second, bigger data center online. that would be the least he could be doing that would qualify as "more important" than sales (considering he would need to fill DC with unsold boards)

but who knows?

more insane waiting for us, i suppose...
