1541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk says the price of BTC will rise on: November 22, 2022, 06:50:35 AM
If I'm not wrong this is the tweet that is being mentioned by the OP. This could have given hope to many of the cryptocurrency enthusiasts who are in a dilemma when to invest to book the profit. Now with confidence they'll invest believing Elon Musk will do something to pump the market. Cheesy
Elon can still influence people who can be easily fool due to lack of knowledge. Though this tweet is an optimistic view for Bitcoin and can encourage his followers to not lose hope, still, it would be best for investors to have their own analysis to fathom what's happening and to know if there's a basis for the price of Bitcoin and alts fo increase.

This is not something new actually, we experienced a bearish season too before and even much worse than this so why worry if you know that in time the market will recover. Thus, fill your bag with potential coins while we're in this season.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: November 22, 2022, 04:02:28 AM
- Do you think The Gambling Industry Is Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market?
I believe yes. Aside from the decreasing value of crypto where their assets are reserves, it also affect their gamblers to spend less in gambling during this time hence less revenue for the casino. But established casinos are able to survive this recession, because they're prepared. Moreover many gamblers are still playing and doesn't let the market situation affect their gambling activity.

- Will the industry lose the trust of gamblers if one or two casinos scammed their players by closing down and running with what
money they have that belongs to the gamblers?
Not really. Many scam casinos are still existing today but it doesn't affect the reputation of the gambling platforms as a whole. It's not a reason to lose the trust of the gamblers.

 - As a gambler do you use gambling sites to store your coins like what traders are doing on exchanges?
No. I only store the money meant for gambling.

 - What would gamblers think if a casino does not agree to show proof of money from new and old casinos
If you have doubt to a certain casino then don't play as there are many options out there where you can gamble with assurance you'll get paid if ever you win.
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 22, 2022, 01:32:46 AM
It's good that Casimero is just keeping his mouth shut at this fight.
Yes and it's something unusual because we're used to seeing him bad mouthing his opponent and probably to create more hype. But he changed now for some reason, still good that he's keeping his mouth shut this time.

Let's patiently wait for the result of this match. I'm giving Casimero a 90% chance to win this match based on my own factors.
I'm also rooting for Casimero to win so he can step up himself for a big match on his future fights just incase.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 21, 2022, 07:50:49 AM
When we gamble we feel all the emotions, like when we feel excited when we are chasing our losses, feeling happy when we won a big amount, feeling depressed when we lose and we feel frustrated when what we expected to happen did not materialize, this is one of the reasons why we cannot stop gambling because we feel all the emotions.

Do you agree that we cannot stop gambling because it completed all our emotions and do you have other feelings when you gamble.
It depends. If you can't stop because of happiness and excitement everytime you're playing then that's understandable since you feel satisfied and entertained. However if gambling is causing you depression yet you still keep on playing in spite of this, it's likely you have a gambling problem already. Because why do you keep playing if it is not healthy for your mental health? A gambler who's having a hard time controlling himself can't stop regardless of what he feel when he gamble. It's not only about the emotions, but the kind of gambler you are when you're playing and how you handle the situation.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: November 21, 2022, 06:05:21 AM
The only strategy that works on games that are completely luck based are money management strategies, and they do not work as a way to make you money but as a way to make you avoid losing too much money, which in my opinion is just as important since our funds are limited to begin with, however as we know this is not what most gamblers are looking for when it comes to strategies, and it is because of this that strategies like martingale are still widely used even if we know they do not work.
I agree. Gamblers are looking for strategies to maximize their chance to win, that also includes how to prevent getting busted early. If you can play long with limited or not huge funds that means you're doing well in managing it.

I already tried many strategies like what other gamblers use but all are not reliable. There's no specific strategy really that can work in luck based games, hence much better to play while enjoying the game and not expecting to profit since it will depend on your luck.
1546  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is likely to head towards a price of $13,000 on: November 21, 2022, 03:46:20 AM
Well, if you're going to hold your Bitcoin for long term I don't see it a problem even the price plunge to $13k. It's part of the cycle and inevitable to have a bear season, since the market can't only move in just one direction. There's a good side of it if only you're not blinded by negativity. Hence don't let yourself be affected because this is only temporary.

It would be better if you divert your attention to other things to refrain yourself committing mistakes just because you're impatient and too worried.
1547  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 24 hours challenge bitcoin use only sa boracay. on: November 21, 2022, 01:13:38 AM
Na impressed ako tuloy sa kanilang vlog kahit sponsored pa. At least this is still part of widespread adoption and awareness sa mga followers at subscribers nya kung ano talaga si Bitcoin at paano gamitin rather than being misinformed.
Totoo yan.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you still win with free spins? on: November 20, 2022, 08:18:52 AM
Is it possible to stick with free spins on online casinos and still be able to make some good reward?

I am looking into the free side of things, no risk at all with free spins but the question is has anyone ever make something out of free spins before? Something reasonable at?

The last time I earned something free from gambling websites was when BTC has very low value and many faucets still run, that's couple of years back.
In my experience, if you're a premium member on Freebitco.in, you can get WOF free spins depending on the FUN tokens that you're holding. In WOF, you can get sats, reward points, lottery tickets and more. If you get sats and able to keep it, you won't notice it's getting bigger, I have been collecting for years already and it's profitable. There are also casinos offering free spins as part of their promotion but often it requires a deposit. Casino is a business so if they give away free spins there's a requirement to withdraw it.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 20, 2022, 07:12:56 AM
Everyone likes to go to a casino here and then. But unfortunately, there are those who cannot visit a casino simply for pure leisure. Gambling can turn from a hobby or a leisure activity into a serious addiction problem. Many compare the rush of gambling to the euphory of cocaine, as it can also become an addition.

Online gambling brought casinos closer than ever before, and the problem of addiction in the world of gambling is a serious social illness. There are a few signs to look for when starting to gamble online to avoid problems of addiction. So, do you know if you have a problem with gambling? Here's an interesting article about this subject.
The article is informative and can make you realize if you're already an addicted gambler. Well, there are people who can't control themselves when they gamble, started playing for leisure but then when they lost significant amount the eagerness to win it back is driving them to keep playing. I was once an addicted gambler few years back. Based on my experience, it's very hard to overcome the addiction especially if the temptation is pushing you to play again. That's why it takes courage and determination to overcome what you used to. Anyway, I still gamble but in moderation using a spare money.
1550  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - Road to Riches raffle taking you to Las Vegas! ✈️ on: November 20, 2022, 05:19:00 AM
I observe how the game works and it is similar to baccarat, it's pretty easy to play and there's a way to maximize the chances to win. What I like is the multiplier for lucky claws/paws it feels like you're also playing slots in this live game. The design is also good. I will definitely try to play this one and see if I can hit a nice win.
1551  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 20, 2022, 04:50:41 AM
For the moment, Roobet is one of the only sites that you need to fill in some personal information when your register. But in the end, a lot of casinos require KYC when you want to withdraw some money (even small amounts). I have needed to complete a full KYC to withdraw 0.01 BTC.
Many casinos now are requiring their players to comply on their KYC verification. But there are still casinos out there where you can gamble without worrying about KYC especially if you're just an average gambler. However, always keep in mind the possibility to abide in this requirement since it's quite common now.

What casino is asking you for full KYC to be able to withdraw? Because in Roobet, you can already withdraw even you're in level 1.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Distortion Pattern on: November 20, 2022, 03:04:02 AM
I'm sure many can relate to this illustration. Almost most of the crypto gamblings, when there is a new depositor on their platform, will first give it a win as a trap for new gamblers.
I also think i'm suited to pattern 3 because that's how it started. You'll experience to win in gambling and got hooked thinking the same result might happen again and so it's the start of your gambling activity. However, i'm not the type who will chase my losses because I can't accept what happened. I still gamble because it's fun and entertaining and that's the reason why I keep playing. Of course it's really nice to win but we know it can't happen often as the house always win.

Thus it's best not to have high hopes so you can control yourself to refrain from depositing to chase back what you have lost.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: November 20, 2022, 02:16:09 AM
He particularly chose Black 15 for $10K on roulette which he could have won $350,000 but a friend took the $10K and replace a safer bet. I know this is likely not to happen in real life. But let's say it did. What would you do?
Well, mix emotions if this happened to me. I place the bet, that means i'm already prepared whatever the outcome is. Because it's my decision to go all in and try my luck. If my friend changed my bet out of concern, I appreciate it and his intention, but still, he has no right to interfere. So regardless of the result I'll be mad at him.

But anyway this is just a movie and can't happen in reality since you can't change/move bets when the ball is already rolling. The dealer should not allow this too.
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: November 18, 2022, 03:20:30 AM
Price drops are pretty much normal in current state. If you are afraid with your assets because of the drop while it's a normal behavior for cryptocurrency in general, then you are doing something wrong.
Indeed. There are investors who can't handle the decreasing price of their asset that's why they're asking a question like this to have an idea for what other investor's think. Maybe they dont have knowledge about the coin they chose to invest in that's why it's hard for them to understand why this is happening. Bear and bull are inevitable in crypto market, that being said it's normal to see the price to decrease during bear season. So as long as you invest in a coin (in this case ETH) that has potential and established then you can be certain that this coin will recover back once the bear season is finally over.
1555  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchangers Are safer then Banks and wallets on: November 18, 2022, 01:30:19 AM
Exchangers like binance Are safer then banks and walllets.
Becouse If something happens they always refund losses.
You think exchanges are safe because they always refund losses incase something happened? Don't be too confident. Don't wait to experience the worse before you realize your mistake for having such belief. The best is to store your coins in a wallet that you have full control since you're holding the private keys. That will give you assurance that your assets are safe.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another opportunity is coming, a time to hold on: November 18, 2022, 12:52:38 AM
Those of you who are interested in investing in Bitcoin can invest in Bitcoin.Right now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin. You will regret it if this time passes. We have heard from various experts who have analyzed that Bitcoin will go to a place in 2024-2025 that people never imagined. So I would say those who are interested in investing, keep investing. You may not get this opportunity again later.
True. The current value is cheaper now compared to its previous price hence it's a good time to accumulate. But many investors are hesitant to buy at this time due to FUD and the recent FTX drama that greatly affect the market.

Well, if you want to engage yourself to invest in Bitcoin, we know this is the time to do it. Investors who are seeing the current season as an opportunity probably experienced the ups and down and became used to it and not letting the negative news stop them. Since they know it's normal in crypto, as an speculative asset and high volatile. Anyway, many things can happen before year 2024, so while waiting focus on what you can do now with the current market.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I want to ask, at the end of the bitcoin and altcoin year, will the price go up on: November 17, 2022, 04:49:06 AM
Just ride the current trend as much as possible and do your best to do those things that are necessary to do amid the bear market.
We really can't accurately predict the price before this year end. It might increase or continue moving in sideways. Thus I agree with you, it would be better to go with the flow on the current trend and think of what we can do at this time that can benefit us in the future. Because bullish season might take time to occur hence we need to remain positive and of course a lot of patience. If possible, forget about the crypto market while we're in bear season to be able to hold without worries. This can avoid panic selling due to FUD circulating in crypto space.
1558  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Report: PH ranks 2nd in ‘ownership of cryptocurrency’ on: November 17, 2022, 04:13:26 AM

1559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone teach me where have High Return Invest Program on: November 17, 2022, 03:15:01 AM
Can someone teach me where have High Return Invest Program
When I was a newbie and still lacking of knowledge, I became a regular investor of HYIP because of the high return in a short period, pretty easy. However it's really true that if you experienced to lose your money, that's the time you will realize your mistake and it will serve as a lesson for you. After I got scammed for blindy investing, I realized there's no easy money to earn.

So if the offer is too good to be true, it's likely a scam hence don't easily believe it. Gain knowledge and try to improve whatever skills you have because that's your stepping stone to earn in a reliable way.
1560  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lay off vs Pay cut on: November 16, 2022, 09:53:06 AM
Let's suppose your boss called you into his/her office and explained the company's situation. He/she then gives you the option of getting laid off or taking a 50% pay cut. If you were to choose one of these options, what would it be and why?
I will choose the 50% pay cut. Nowadays many companies are laying off their employees making it hard to find a new job specially if you're not a degree holder or your skills are not indemand.

So instead of choosing to be laid off, I'll be wise and choose to stay. Atleast I still have an income to rely on despite of the pay cut, this way I don't have to worry on where to get the budget for our monthly expenses. And then I'll start to find another source of income or start to look for other companies with vacant position that I can apply on and has a better compensation compared to my current job.
