541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: September 11, 2023, 04:23:11 AM
You might be lucky to win one day, but the next day you will probably lose all that and more.
Thus, there's no way a gambler can win consistently to the point he/she can earn daily to treat it as a source to earn money. That is very clear but many gamblers failed to understand, and still have this hope that they can make their money grow once they use it to gamble.

Well, if your goal is to earn money, then forget about gambling and find a job to have a steady income. Because the profit in gambling is not guaranteed therefore should not be treated as the answer to your financial problem.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos Should Also Be Prepared For Health Emergencies on: September 11, 2023, 02:59:04 AM
This happened in 2022 and although I do not know the outcome of the court case, my thoughts are that the discussion about casinos should go beyond security measures to cover how prepared they are in the event of a health emergency . I think that well-equipped First Aid Kit and trained paramedical staff could significantly contribute to ensuring the safety and well-being of casino patrons. Although casinos are primarily places where people go for entertainment and profit, the operators should put in place health emergency measures could potentially mitigate the impact of unforeseen events. On the other hand, I would argue that the family of the deceased is trying to obtain money from the casino. Do you think the casino is to be blamed?

That is a crazy story and the casino definitely has to accept some blame. When there is a dealer sitting right in opposite of you and you are having a medical emergency, he should be helping you. It's one thing not to immediately nothing if something is wrong, but for a person to not move for 15 minutes is a long time during quick games like Black Jack. I would have expected the dealers to be trained to spot such issues, also usually people sitting down at the table are playing. It's not like you can sit down at the table and take a nap. It's true that there are a lot of crazy people in Las Vegas, I have seen so many drunk people in the casino where I would think that security should come and ask them to go to their room to sleep it off. Mostly the people I have seen in front of the slot machines where there is not a lot of casino employees working. Having such a tragedy take place at a blackjack table seems wrong that it wasn't noticed earlier. Just because casinos are places for entertainment doesn't mean there can’t be medical emergencies and it's all about getting help in the first 10 minutes to help the patient.

And that is why I think the casino will end up paying money to the family of the deceased as they do in fact hold some blame, we must not forget that casinos are the place where you will find on average the most cameras around world and a great deal of those cameras are on the tables.

So it is not as if they have the excuse that this happened at the bathroom where no a single member of the staff could watch this person being unconscious for such a long period of time before calling emergencies.
There's a negligence because they didn't check immediately on this gambler's condition and continued as if nothing happened. It's possible that they didn't notice, but there's a security cameras so why they missed? That's why it's not surprising for the family to blame the casino for this incident.

Anyway, the gambler had a cardiac arrest and it's not an easy condition wherein an emergency kit can handle. But if only they're fast to react and immediately take him to a hospital for a proper medication, the family might accept what happened (even it's the worst) and won't file a lawsuit against the casino.
543  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Over 4 million accounts ng Gcash ay binlock. on: September 11, 2023, 01:18:38 AM

544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take to play casino? on: September 10, 2023, 08:21:20 AM
It must have capital Cry

However, which one should you be more dependent on when it comes to making money from the casino!

Is it really good luck for you?
Which basic technique to use?
In the world of gambling every bet we made Is we can not predict the outcome sometimes we will in a good amount of money then somtimes we will lose a big amount of money which is that's s bad news once we failed or loss a lot of money in gambling the best thing we can do is to familiarize the game and analyze in order to win a good amount of money cause if er put spontaneously out bet then one thing for sure we will regret. If  we will loss
As we often say, only use the money that you can afford to lose, that's the number one rule in gambling. So even you're not lucky to win and your strategy didn't work (for assuming it is effective), then it won't be hard to accept you loss the money since that's your budget really meant for gambling.

Thus, forget about the desire of winning and just enjoy the game and have fun. Because if you less expect to win in gambling and it happened, for sure that's more satisfying.
545  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 10, 2023, 06:57:45 AM
They are organizing daily giveaway on twitter if you keep an eye over them and that's also worth hundreds of dollars as you know the team is quite well and rewards have been always good.So follow them and also congratulations to team on completing 230k followers on twitter that also with $230 giveaway  Wink
This is what Roobet made off, they are very generous with their bonuses and a free giveaway like this.
It’s cool to have such number of followers and that only means gamblers are satisfied with Roobet.
That daily giveaway is not new anymore, better to take advantage of it while it is still available, probably they are celebrating this milestone.
The gamblers are happy as team is frequently giving new promotional events, giveaways and rewards are also good while they have worked hard on their social media growth as well. You see they know twitter is main target audience for casinos and they have good reach over there but it happens with cool marketing strategies as well.
It's not surprising that Roobet reached another milestone of having such followers because they're doing well as a casino. They're giving generous giveaway rewards on their social media platform, as well as here with their consistent art contest. That's why they deserved the success and the positive reviews of gamblers playing on their casino. Proven as reliable and trustworthy.
546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: September 10, 2023, 04:18:55 AM
If parents find out that their child has started gambling, they must provide more understanding and a different approach. Their children must be guided to stop gambling before it is too late and their parents cannot save their lives.
True. There's a money involved in gambling so even our kid says they're just playing for fun, we can't help but to worry. It's just right to explain and if possible make them stop playing since gambling is not suited for students who are still depending on their parents.

With the approach parents take, they can slowly make their children aware that what they do is not good for their mental health. The presence of his parents in guiding him out of gambling can help him to leave gambling and never gamble again.
For now, he need to stop his gambling activity and focus on his studies. But it doesn't mean he can't gamble in the future anymore. Because once he's settled, earning a stable income and already know what's right or wrong, he can decide for himself. In time, he will understand his mother if he already have a family and became a parent.
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: September 10, 2023, 02:46:48 AM
Short answer : dont be an idiot and dont gamble more than you can.

Long answer: have a budget, dont be emotional, think a lot before bet, try to bet on game where your skills count and not only in games where luck its 100% of the equation.
And yet something so straightforward is beyond most people, even if there is a lot of evidence that gambling is just an activity that should be pursued as a form of entertainment, there are many people out there which believe they can make money with it, and as long as they maintain that belief then they are going to gamble more than what they can afford to lose and ignore all the warning signals, and only stop once they have lost all their money.
Because they're thinking it's easy to make money in gambling. Hence even it's risky and losing is inevitable, they keep playing with a mindset of hitting a big win that can cover their past losses. So despite of these warnings, no one can stop them to continue to gamble in the way they wanted to play. But many gamblers are responsible to not go beyond their limit and can control themselves on when they should stop. Because these gamblers are aware of the negative effect of gambling.

Therefore, if you don't want to become addicted in gambling, always play in moderation and think of the consequences if you lose control when playing. Gambling is not a source of income so let's keep that in mind.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 10, 2023, 12:41:42 AM
If you want try them out then make sure that they have an announcement thread opened on the Bitcointalk forum, few new casinos made it to the forum and still turn scam, they are been dealt with by raising an alarm and red tagging their account, This spreads information all over the forum and outside the forum, at least many are saved from becoming the next victim.
It's good if a new casino made an effort to create an ANN thread here to introduce their site. Because many gamblers prefer a casino with an existing ANN thread to communicate to their representative for questions and issues they might encounter when playing on the site. However it doesn't mean those casinos without a presence here are just scam, maybe they have other ways to promote their casino on social media or in different platforms to attract more customers.

Either old or new casinos, it's a must to conduct a research to prevent ourselves playing on scam sites. Don't get attracted to their promotions/bonuses without checking if the site is trustworthy.
549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't look for investment, just hodle! on: September 08, 2023, 08:59:30 AM
To avoid all this,  it become paramount to only abide by one rules which is to keep Bitcoin in your wallet and stop looking for investment that are centralized to reduce your risk.
That's how it should be to lessen the risk of losing our money. But this basic rule is hard to follow for many of us because often they're looking for quick profit that they can't achieve if they chose Bitcoin. Some newbies engage themselves in crypto not because they became aware of Bitcoin but because of the hype of a certain coin, believing it will go to the moon due to the effective promotion of influencers.

Well, it's wise to diversify but make sure that you have knowledge of what you're doing and not just guessing if the specific project will give you profit in the future. Investing and holding Bitcoin is ideal for people who are not in hurry to profit and can wait longer. Because it's less stressful if you just hold though it requires patience.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn an apartment in a bear market on: September 08, 2023, 01:42:24 AM
Ready to invest $500 per month.
Advise on the best way to fix profits and what kind of cryptocurrency to buy. Now the markets have fallen - it's time to buy.
Your portfolio has good coins to hold until bull run but you don't have BNB yet. So try adding this coin, it's one of the established and worthy to include in our portfolio (but still DYOR). The market is declining so yes a good time to keep buying, I suggest to buy additional coins only for established coins like BTC, ETH and BNB and stick to it until you had a good amount of holdings.

Your goal is to have sufficient money to buy an apartment and it's not a small amount. We can't predict what coins will have a huge growth during bull run but as long as you're holding a coins with potential, you'll certainly gain from it. Thus, be wise on what coin to buy monthly with your allocated budget.
551  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 08, 2023, 12:36:24 AM
What is the best investment, in your opinion? To use this money to pay for your education, so you can conclude a superior course and achieve a higher degree, having access to a wide jobs' market, or to use that money to acquire an apartment, house or piece of land, so you can make a passive income from this?
It's true that nowadays there are many resources already to learn, such as free online courses, tutorial videos that are beneficial if you want to self-study. But, having a degree is still different because this is your stepping stone to secure your future. Having a degree is an achievement that no one can take away from us. Therefore that's what I prefer. Buying a properties can come later after you finish your studies, had a decent job (or build a business depending on your plan) and savings.

It brings the following question up: what is more valued in life: to be or to have? Does it make someone fulfilled to have while not being or being without having anything?
This is subjective. Regardless of what you prefer and prioritize, as long as you're happy and contented with your life, you will be satisfied even you don't have this and that.
552  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found Facebook trading group they work with signals wolf of wstreet on: September 07, 2023, 04:57:13 AM
Pump group is like creating a false alarm to those who are eager to earn decently from a low price coin. At most cases, pump signals are not proven to be accurate or even close. Pump usually comes with hype especially if we talk about low cap altcoins.
Indeed. I visit the group and there's no interesting or useful idea, just a shilling of a certain coin (with a low price) trying to convince the members to join the ride.

Don't trust this kind of pump group or trading signals because they're not reliable at all. Instead of gaining, you might end up losing your money for following them. It's more accurate if you DYOR and learn to have your own analysis.
553  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? on: September 07, 2023, 02:29:15 AM
What if there is no crypto bull run for next 10 years ? Will you give up all your investments and get out of crypto because of this ? Or do you you have even more broader horizon and can wait longer to see the next bull run ?
At first, i'm using my Bitcoin to send money to my loved ones abroad. It serves as my alternative to remittance since the fee is low and the transaction is fast without the need to go outside. I first know Bitcoin (or crypto in general) not as an investment but a way to send money without a third party.

When I discovered the price fluctuation that's how I became interested to invest in it. That being said, even there's no bull run for the next 10 years, it's not a reason to pull out what I invested. Because there's still a reason for me to continue holding my Bitcoin. Nevertheless, it's not realistic for this situation to happen.

555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: September 06, 2023, 04:40:45 AM
I would advise this guy to quit gambling and save his mother's psychological health, or to find a part-time job and spend the money he earns as he sees fit. In this case, the guy will have a job and his mother will not worry.
I agree. Even he's already in legal age to gamble, the point is, he's still depending on his parents financially and the money given is meant for his studies and not for leisure.

Thus, it's normal for parents to be worried if they became aware that their son is into gambling. Therefore, an advice of looking for a side job is better rather than relying on his mother's given allowance. This way, the son can have a budget if he wants to entertain himself through gambling.
556  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: September 06, 2023, 02:21:33 AM
I think it is much better if you could somehow work it out one way or another. This means that contacting customer support is the best way to do it because they will be getting the ticket in their system that way and can't close it until it is solved, and that's what they will aim at doing, so you will get help.
The team can respond towards it but think he might be just putting false allegations against them judging from the trust ratings but yeah the last information and decisions depend on the team and I doubt they would do anything wrong unless some users abuse the terms.
I think their job should be to shoot down any type of fake allegations against them as well. If someone comes here and talks about them like they are doing something wrong, rollbit has to come up and say that they are not doing anything wrong and they are doing the right thing at the end.

I believe that is the most important thing and we should not be really caring about it at all when someone just comes in and complains, we should be only to care about it when there is a proof of it. Unless someone comes with a proof that they have been wronged, then I am not going to believe them. Some people just come here and talk, I can write anything I want as well, I can say I am actually Joe Biden, would you believe me? We need either proof, or no need to believe.
Every online forum is like a battlefield for image, and when false accusations come up, companies should act quickly to protect themselves.  Even though I agree that accusations without proof are useless, the same can be said about businesses. If Rollbit or any other online gambling site says they're honest, where's THEIR proof? A lot can be gained by being open about processes, licenses, and audits. Not everyone who complains on a website has the means to back up what they say. What if it was up to the companies to show their legitimacy in a way that a skeptic could trust?

The gamblers playing on the site are the ones who can say if the casino is trustworthy or not. Because it's futile even the particular site is claiming they're honest if the majority of their gambler's had a negative experience playing on their site. Well, there's no perfect casino but it's a different matter if one really intended to just scam their players.

Anyway, the representative already answered the complaints against them and also willing to cooperate to any third party (or escalate the matter to their licensor) so they can provide proofs that the accusation is false.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gala - is it over or will it recover? on: September 06, 2023, 01:05:25 AM
Is Gala still a good investment or not anymore? See link below
I really feel sorry for those who have invested in GALA because I see that GALA has a very high scam potential. It will be safer to store assets in BTC. I had a bad incident in 2017 where I lost almost $1,000 in altcoins and since then I decided to keep my assets in BTC only.
Alts are more risky to invest in. GALA is no different especially the current price is declining. Investing in this coin is risky since you're not certain if it can recover once the bear market is over.

So if you already invested, maybe you can wait and see if there's a changes. But if you didn't invest yet then refrain and look for other coins that are worthy to hold (like Bitcoin). I'd rather invest to established coins than to take risk in a coin with no clear future if it might skyrocket or turn as shitcoin.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: September 05, 2023, 09:01:13 AM
When someone has a particular wallet which he spends Bitcoins from can he be considered a Bitcoin investor?
Or does the term investor refer only to those who hodl Bitcoin?
Well, If he is just using Bitcoin as currency and not holding it for long to gain, then for me he's just using it for convenience. Because if we say investor, you're waiting to gain from what you invested either for short or long term. Therefore if you're not gaining from Bitcoin then I don't think you're an investor since you have other purpose on how you use your Bitcoin.

Anyway, we have our own understanding and stance regarding this hence I don't think it's a big deal. We're free to use our Bitcoin depending on what we think is beneficial and of course on what we believe in.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 05, 2023, 05:27:09 AM
You don't need to eat at those expensive restaurants if you can eat it in a normal restaurant, because if you are just earning minimum wage, then you don't need to eat at those restaurants. Don't be fancy, and you are right, don't buy those nonsense items that you don't need. It is really about self-control because, as others have stated, if you can't afford it, don't push yourself to afford it at that time; instead, work hard so that you can afford it in the future. Right now, because of the high prices, people are sure getting a budget on everything.

Sure, you do not need those things, however, people are living not only needing lives. We have desires, ambitions, self esteem and endeavour for realisation. We have to earn our place in society. And that is why we are doing a lot of things. Yes, we could not do it, but then our lives would look dull, savourless and boring. A person should strive for something, desire something. Only then does he or she feel alive.

But in the meantime, you should be disciplined with your spending if you are just earning the minimum wage. Yes, all of us have desires and ambitions that we need to gradually achieve, but that doesn't mean that you should make an abrupt move because your life is boring. In the meantime, to achieve those dreams you want, you need to have discipline in life, not only in finances, because how would you be achieving your wants if you were already broke.
I agree. Prioritize the needs first, before the wants and be practical (for now). If you have desires that you want to achieve then work on it, strive hard so you can turn your dreams into reality. However, if your current situation is hindering you to achieve whatever goal you have in life then it's time to do something that can help to change what you used to.

On the other side, to avoid the short of budget due to unnecessary expenses, before your pay day, list down the essential things (food, bills, transpo etc.) so you can budget beforehand the amount allocated for these expenses. Don't spend more than what you can earn to be able to save some money for the future. Discipline is important if you don't want to struggle financially. Much better if you can increase your earnings by looking for a side hustle and not just relying alone in your main job.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give Him a loan Or Partner With Him on: September 05, 2023, 03:06:09 AM
What would be the best option if a friend who happens to be good at horse racing lost his fortune coming from betting in horse racing because of illness and came to you and asked for a loan and honestly stated that he wants to use it betting in horse racing to recover his fortune.
The fact that he will just use the money (that I will lend to him) in gambling, makes me hesitate to give him a loan. Regardless what form of gambling he is good at, it is still gambling and not guaranteed.

Therefore, I will just give him money as a help for his illness and not to use in horse racing. Even let's say he is good in horse racing, but you can never be so sure that you're still good like what you used to before since it's been a while. Moreover, in gambling, you need luck to win, so I will advice this friend to look for other ways to earn money rather than relying on gambling to get his fortune back.
