Really awesome site!
Not sure if anyone else cares about this, but I would like the option to show my exposure to the exchanges I'm holding my coins on. I want to know that I have X amount of BTC on Cryptsy, any other exchange, or in a private wallet. With the whole Mt.Gox fiasco, showing my exposure to the exchanges can be useful.

In regards to his character, he already showed it. If he starts acting in a more reasonable, less troll of a way, it won't change his character, he would still be the same person.
Hard to believe that a senior member of this forum can show such childish behavior. But, to finished, I'm glad that he can hold his stake and have the opportunity to act more reasonably. This speak very good about this community!
I was simply looking out for everyone that gave Nxt or Btc to the dev fund. When I received my stake, no one had to pay. At that point, if Nem wasn't fairly distributed and had no code, no one lost anything. Later when UtopianFuture started collecting Nxt and Btc, people were at risk of losing their money. I've seen the Visacoin, Shares, Aero, etc scams and I know how eager people are to get a stake in the next Nxt. I don't think it is ethical to sell people on promises with little actual work. Writing Nem from scratch is easier said than done. People might say that I'm bashing Nem so they invest in Nxt, but the fact is that Nxt is being actively developed. If I had to pay Nxt to get Nem, I would just keep my Nxt, but everyone has the right to make their own decision. You are really acting like a 2 year old. If you are an example of what Nxt is about, then I'm glad new options are being created. As for your potential scam allegations, the funding is over now. The only thing you are doing now is sabotaging the project and taking attention away from managing the project to your child like antics. However, I do believe you should still have your stake. Please just take your stake and support NEM, or leave. |

Maybe. I feel that as I am not an official representative I can't really "announce." Hmm.
But that's where all the traffic is. If this ends up being the only announcement I can see some backlash coming from the community. I think it's only right to have a rep from Invictus make an official announcement on the appropriate board. I don't know why they haven't. |

Is Moneypaktrader around? I sent him btc for XCP on 02/13 EST. (My PM says I sent it on the 14th but it's wrong) He didn't send XCP and he doesn't respond to messages or emails. I don't care that he has a good reputation on here, his customer service just horrible. If he didn't want to honor .005 anymore than he should be on the forums announcing it or take his offer off the spreadsheet in the XCP buy/sell thread. Or, just send my money back. Below is the PM I sent.

Thanks for your hard work but this is still Greek to me. I'm technically challenged so I have know idea what to do. Is there a one click download somewhere? Can I use this with an Electrum wallet? Thanks. I really understand you ;-) I'll ask Flatfly prepare a "build windows" as soon as he can. For MacOS I try to do it tomorrow. But it always takes a little time to prepare the installer. For Electrum this is not possible at the moment. You must have already installed bitcoinqt. I advise you to do so now. The "build" should be ready when you have finished downloading the blockchain ;-) PS: do not forget txindex = 1 and server=1 in your config file Thanks. I guess I have to import my Electrum addresses to BitcoinQT? |

You are only selling 5% to this thread. That leaves 95% to the "Just Click on Interested" crowd and the developers stake. I thought I heard you mention that only 300 people signed up on the website. Something doesn't make sense to me.
Does that mean they will have a bigger stake than the people reserving a deal in this thread?

How is the other 95% being allocated?
My opinion is that 5% is way too low for the only group that's actually paying for a stake. Unless I'm missing something, please correct me if I'm wrong.
5% is allocated for this NEX exchange. 1% is allocated for VisaCoin holders. An unknown percentage will be allocated to those 'just interested'. There are at least 500 'just interested' folks, we hope to get much more. Note: NEX is likely not a 100% proof of stake coin due to its very unfair distribution dynamics. Distribution will happen with a mechanism other than proof of work, but it will happen over a period similar to proof of work schemes. Think a year of distribution followed by a low inflation rate. The initial distribution will however be proof of stake, so there is an extreme advantage to be in the initial distribution. This 5% will be used for continuous development and maintenance of the network. A stable set of 20 nodes will be allocated on launch to secure the network. This set will increase over time as the network grows in participation and size. Thanks. How many total coins will be in the initial distribution? |
