161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Online Gambling Streamers Ever Get Addicted to Gambling? on: August 07, 2022, 09:26:30 PM
Kind of impossible to tell.
Maybe they are, maybe they are not. The odds are pretty much the same, as they would be for any other guy.
And no, you can't tell whether someone is "addicted to gambling" by their appearance. There are a thousand other things(External and internal factors) which have an influence on your health.

But I do hope that they are addicted and I want them to lose EVERY FUCKING THING that they own.
After all, they are pushing kids and teenagers to gambling.

OOT: I really like how UK has passed a law recently where celebs, influencers can't advertise for a casino/sportsbook. We need something similar on twitch and other streaming platforms. https://www.thedrum.com/news/2022/04/05/uk-gambling-firms-banned-using-sports-stars-celebs-and-influencers-ads
I think it's wrong if you want their lives to be destroyed just because you think they are the root cause of gambling addictions. I think that streamers only ventures this industry for them to earn money to live. Many kids are visiting twitch so maybe twitch can hide gambling and other adult content to them.
With this philosophy you can justify burglary, drug peddling, human trafficking or any other crime.  Would you?

I am only wishing it, whereas they are actually doing it. They have no moral standard, and neither do their sponsors. You can't be more parasitic than those streamers TBH
Twitch is known to be notorious when it comes to protecting their userbase. Its a dirty business.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin exchanges that show full, unambiguous coin information on: August 07, 2022, 08:28:10 AM

Curious if any currently open altcoin exchanges provide this level of detail?

Binance offers a lot of details for any given coin.

When you are on the trading page of any coin, you will notice a hyperlink right below the trading pair name.

Just click on this link, and it will redirect to a "research" page, which contains ample of information along with coin's meta details(websites, whitepaper, explorer etc).

I checked some shitcoin's research page and it even contains East hemisphere vs West hemisphere trading details. Pretty cool imo

I hope this is what you were looking for.

Dude, wdym

Everything is up by at least 10%. Which is huge!! Even wheat's price is soaring which is very rare. Prices will continue to rise till 2023, there seems to be no end to it. And yet you are posing stupid questions  Huh

You are right about one thing tho, where's the bear market  Huh
But guess what, this is a sure sign of how bad things are going to be. Speculative investors keep on pumping the market and are generating this huge bubble. The current p/e ration doesn't justify the price of so many stocks but people continues to buy in hopes of making lost money back. We still got debts, inflation will keep on rising and soon it will all break. I truly hope it doesn't but all the indicators point southwards.

If prices are high just make more MONEY but good life is standard money is just numbers add more numbers on ur bank account then
Few bucks left or right dont change quality of ur life anyways
You seem like a real thinker. You just solved so many problems with your insightful opinion.

You presented a very simple fix in a few words "make more money if you need food and money doesn't matter". Nobel prize in economics on its way to acknowledge your intelligence.

John Maynard Keynes will roll in his grave when he gets to know about your neoliberal axiom. You sir, are genius.

166  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US become EU's oil supplier?? on: August 06, 2022, 11:26:09 PM
Russia has long since turned its oil export market to Asia and no longer considers Europe as its important partner, Russia has overtaken Saudi Arabia to become the second largest oil supplier in India. It will hurt more for the EU if the EU completely cuts off oil supplies from Russia and it will increasingly rely on the grace of the US, more dependent on the US. This is what the US really wants.
There's still Norway, West Africa, Middle east. Until the import from Russia becomes illegal(Feb 2023) refiners would be buying from Russia like there's no tomorrow.

Anyhow, it's ironic because Russia has exported more oil than ever in this period and continues to make record profit. Almost making 25 billion dollars each passing month and it will continue to rise simply because everyone will be stocking before the ban. Giving Russia ample of time to develop relations with other non-EU countries to sell their oil at a better price.
Nothing will change for Russia.

Shows you how much hypocrisy there is within the EU  Wink

My cousin(Sagar Ahlawat) is going to win a medal here for sure in boxing, I hope he gets gold  Grin

He's in semis now and will have his bout today against Nigeria's ONYEKWERE. I am pretty confident that he will win semis and might even get a gold once he's in final!
Albeit, his opposite draw has some real competition(Orie and Leuila MAU'U). Orie got experience and Leuila lands pretty strong punches. Hoping for the best  Cheesy
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyundai rolls out 27 heavy-duty hydrogen trucks in Germany on: August 05, 2022, 11:59:28 PM
Quote
The main obstacle would be lack of domestic hydrogen fuel generation. Catalysts to generate hydrogen more efficiently have been like a holy grail for researchers. A hydrogen based economy has been touted as one potential clean energy option for the future. Perhaps the circumstances are aligned now to make it a reality. What do people think.

This sums it up. We still need to resolve its production. AFAIK, hydrogen as a fuel is still made from fossil fuels.

If we can somehow generate green H2 in a viable manner(electrolysis  Huh ). Given how much potential chemical energy hydrogen has, idk how it's going to be done(but this is why we got researchers with billions of funding on it  Cheesy)
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Nations should impose special taxes on oil firms: UN Secretary General on: August 05, 2022, 11:51:42 PM
How about imposing such tax on conglomerates in all industries that would rather utilize their profit in creating a monopolistic landscape instead of paying their employees(read AMAZON).

Anyhow, carbon tax is a better alternative than such "grotesque tax" scheme. At least it will force companies to be environment conscious  Smiley
170  Economy / Economics / Re: More investment in Tokamaks and hot fusion is required on: August 05, 2022, 11:40:24 PM
The most promising future energy, cheap, abundant and that may eventually be easy to produce is hot fusion energy.  https://www.iter.org
For reference: the installation is based on the tokamak system developed by Soviet scientists (Toroidal Chamber with Magnetic Coils), developed in the 50s of the last century by academicians I.E. Tamm and A.D. Sakharov.

Russia is the initiator of the ITER project.

Russia has complete design documentation for the ITER reactor.

Russia occupies one of the key positions in the implementation of the international ITER Project.

It looks like your hatred of hydrocarbons is stronger than your Russophobia. Grin
With that philosophy you should stop eating then  Smiley

The gas which was used in concentration camps during WW2(Zyklon-B) is the work of of the same guy who invented synthesis of fertiliser from N2 and H2(which is used in almost all of the produce that you consume today).

As for fusion itself, it still got decades of development left to be feasible enough.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US become EU's oil supplier?? on: August 05, 2022, 11:26:58 PM
I don't think EU has an option here, they can't just fill 40% of the demand from other sources in a day or even in a year.
It will take time to set up an alternative supply chain without jacking the prices up.

And even if EU cuts off Russia's supply, Russian oil still got plenty of buyers(China, India, other asian countries - almost limitless).

This will only hurt EU and no one else.

173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Bull Trap – Is the post-Fed crypto rally over? on: August 03, 2022, 09:45:22 PM

It is not overrated at all. The connection is that if there are people who are willing to withdraw their money from stock markets, gold, oil, and whatever else along with crypto that sends a message. It means that people are withdrawing money from the markets and they are putting it on savings accounts basically, or treasury or anything like that.

This means that it makes sense for crypto prices to drop when there are all those people withdrawing their money on ALL markets. Seems like fed is not going to do something marginal like that anytime soon, or at least it is not expected to happen anytime soon. This means that rally could be over and we could take a look at the current situation as a better thing.
But a rate hike by fed isn't going to disrupt the market in that manner(which will make people lost their confidence).
A rate hike is like trying to extinguish the fire with a bucket of water, when you have no idea about the fire's magnitude.
The relation between the two is indeed overrated.

You are right about the sentiment controlling the market. But again, fed wouldn't really want to hurt the public through one of their meeting. As that would be exactly opposite of their intended job.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: August 03, 2022, 09:33:03 PM

Covid is already there for many years and provably the government protocols about how to fight or avoid these disease is been set up that's why for sure Macau government already been establish about this issues that's why they can decide to open up their economy back including the gambling industry on their country. Maybe its good to trust them on what they are doing if you are citizen of the said country since for sure the government do everything just to survive the crisis brought by this pandemic.
Naa, you can't trust CCP. Ever since Xi Jinping came into power, China has seen a steep decline. In its progress and policies.
Their lockdown protocol is just another failed policy. They keep on enforcing it to save their face. Apparently CCP thinks that any kind of reform would seem like a declaration of fault in their system.

China doesn't have a government, they have a circus with clowns running the show.
175  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: August 03, 2022, 09:07:01 PM
One single group will get very messy. There are at least a dozen of live match at any moment. On the other hand, a discord server will be more apt. Create a channel for each sport and for meta discussions like - Off topic, rewards etc

Like this one https://discord.gg/8dnCBcdn - It's a discord group of r/sportsbook subreddit. Very active and I used to be active too till last year. Members are amiable(except for a few hormone fuelled teenagers).

All you had to do was google before making any deposit. If you can't even screen a site before giving them your money, then you kind of deserve it along with a Darwin award  Smiley

I was greeted with this chat pop up on my first visit yas.bet

Which doesn't seem very professional. I think that anyone's first visit to a casino should focus on displaying offers and promos for new users instead of asking them to join a telegram channel. Pop ups are distracting too. I would want my new customers to focus on registration.

The footer section has a few shortcomings.

Most of these icons have a white background for some reason.

The registration page inquires a lot of person details(full name and phone number).  The currency is set to IRR ( Huh). I had to google it. Maybe set this value according to user's geographical location.

The timer for future events has a very weird design

The deposit process seems to be very flimsy for crypto. It seems like a checkout page more than deposit page.  Maybe a static deposit address for major cryptocurency will be more convenient, if majority of your users are going to use crypto.
I had the same problem like other users, I wasn't able to copy the address when I clicked on copy icon. Seems to be a JS error
Code:
Uncaught (in promise) DOMException: The Clipboard API has been blocked because of a permissions policy applied to the current document. See https://goo.gl/EuHzyv for more details.

I was impressed with the game layouts and available options to bet on. But equally disappointed with the deposit flow and some parts of the design.

I hope that my review will be of some help here.

Make a minimum number of 30 post each week in way to be elegible for payment

Are you encouraging spamming? Or do you not care as long as you are paid by your employer? 30 posts per week is far too many. This would only attract a slew of scumbag spammers.

Corollary: All participants are spammers   Huh

Their campaign, their rules. If a participant is making low quality posts, then you should target them instead of generalizing the whole campaign Smiley
