161  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 02, 2021, 06:16:16 PM
Valid points I have read so far.
Just to contribute, one major reasons why many governments rejects Bitcoin is how it equalize the supremacy game that is been played by dominating currencies. With bitcoin no currency is bigger than the other and that is how it should be.
On the future, we hope to see the situation where by Bitcoin and fiat are in support of each other.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is INDIA going to BAN Bitcoin Again? on: February 02, 2021, 03:46:43 PM
They might not, considering the positive effect it had on its citizens.
But as you know most governments are very unpredictable and only embark on any financial investment that favours the government more.

Whatever their stand is, i hope they just regulate it instead of banning it.The population of india and investment in bitcoin and ICOs (the good ones, of course) has created a good impart in the world of cryptocurrency.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 02, 2021, 03:00:30 PM
I have never for once taken the fight between Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather seriously.
I mean look at it, anyone would have known it was done for the money and mere entertainment. it was suprinsing and funny at the same time to see people casting their money and betting, even though behind close doors they fighters already knew the winner. Well I'm glad it's over, let's see some real fight.

I am in for Manny Pacquiao though. Grin
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for XRP on: February 02, 2021, 01:54:01 PM

There is no Good news in it, isn't it?

XRP got delisted and their market value got affected a lot, people may dump their XRP in the near future as well so anyone HODLing XRP is at the risk of losing their capital value.

You can't be too sure.
I know of someone who poured in most of his investment in ripple recently as he believes it is part of the future coin.
There are times when coins experience their darkest part, that was the case of ripple then. Now look at it now.
165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Altcoin's loss become Bitcoin's gain? on: February 02, 2021, 12:42:41 PM
At that time, buying may pump the prince of bitcoin, but what's the need when they sell off their coins after the sudden gaining from bitcoin pump.

All this instability is not going for the right altcoin. Instead of jumping from one altcoin to another, isn't it best to maintain a hold on bitcoin? For years, it has proven it worth. Though, this does not means there isn't any better altcoins out there.
166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Bitcoin play as gold? Shall I buy gold Or Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2021, 11:09:05 AM
Whether you buy gold or Bitcoin, it depends on you, what you want in the long term and your financial capability.
Whether it's Bitcoin or Gold, each of these assets has its advantages and you shouldn't be looking at the short term.

If you have the money, buy more bitcoin, but if you are too scared of losing out on Gold, buy some of it. But let your bigger spend be on Bitcoin.

But again, it's your choice to make.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: February 02, 2021, 12:00:05 AM
They have skills why they did not use to the right thing and for sure they will earn millions of dollars to their work or build their own business. People do cheating and they know the consequences once they caught they will go to prison or they torture for sure. They waste their lives by cheating yes they become instant millionaire by cheating but it is not the answer and doing bad is very wrong thing and the karma will soon happen them. I believe there is a lot of cheaters more in the gambling are not see because they are very smart to hide it but there is no secret does not reveal.

Sometimes in gambling many people don't care about if you cheat but your winings.
It's only when people start making mentions of how strange it is for the person to win that you will see the traces of cheating.
Aside from that, less people actually again. Though casinos owners are always watchful.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when ETH was $1400 a few years ago then crashed to $70 as BTC crashed? on: February 01, 2021, 11:55:46 PM

You say ETH has no value? You know 90% of coins are eth20 coins right? ETH will pass his all time high soon. The rise of ETH is healthier this time cause we see more side movements which is good.

Lol. What he should have said is that when compared to Bitcoin, ETH won't stand the chance.

But still to a lot of people, they feel that ETH has no value because their gain after holding for so long has lesser impact or gain when compared to Bitcoin.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 01, 2021, 11:44:09 PM
Isn't it normal?

In the past, we have seen a huge price reduction now look at where we are now.
In as much as many may dislike it, we need the price reduction for market correction.
All we hope not to see is impulse selling from those who panic of loss.
170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC go down to <$5k again now? on: February 01, 2021, 11:19:57 PM
Even though there is a possibility of anything to happen in Bitcoin, I think going to the price of 5k is not possible, at least not now or anytime soon.
There might be whales, but have you consider the percentages of retail investors. They might invest heavily like the whales but their tiny investments has great impact.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: recent negative statement against Bitcoin on: February 01, 2021, 11:10:30 PM
When fiāt, particularly dollars or euro is ignored, many bullshit start arising.
I personally stan with bitcoin though, no matter what. Anyone who shakens because of statements like this, is not ready for the future.
She said Bitcoin is not a currency and that's because they have not 'officially' declared it.
At this point, I think their words don't holds much value.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin in Africa Is a Way for Some to Escape Poverty on: February 01, 2021, 10:46:55 PM
"Bitcoin having humanitarian qualities"  Cheesy
This is the most beautiful features of Bitcoin that many hasn't realised yet.

And the good thing is that, it's not only in Africa but in every developing countries. Most people have made good living from it. The case of Zimbabwe is a good example but still its unfortunate many haven't heard of it in remote towns.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: February 01, 2021, 10:30:54 PM
This is a sad reality because most of Lottery Fans are people with ages in older level , we cannot often see people with young ages who loves Lottery .

More than even my friends are  not into this gambling (But i don't consider myself as old lol)

and also how can this be fun when you won a over highest Money but you cannot even enjoy to use this?

It's still doesn't have to do with old age. Why it seems the old are the only one that wins the lottery is because the have more patience than some young people whom are too eager for success.

But again, I still think the heart attack could be as a result of too much of unexpected joy or a mere coincidence.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: February 01, 2021, 10:16:18 PM
When the altcoin price was experiencing a positive change I was confused ... whether to invest or trade directly ..
your advice is advice to me .. thank you

It depends on the coins you have.
Some coins are not just worth keeping while others are worth.
Take for instant if the altcoin you have is XRP(Ripple). Do yourself a favour and hold unto it more. Its among the future coins.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can play tricks on your mind on: January 31, 2021, 12:44:41 AM
When your mind keeps playing games on you like this is when you worry constantly that the price will go down to "zero". That alone can make your heart race, especially if you buy Bitcoin when the price is way higher.

When you hear people say that bitcoin investment is not for the soft-hearted; they were not kidding. Just for your mental stability, have a long term goal for it and be ready to ignore all the noise when prices are dumping.

177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be too happy on: January 25, 2021, 07:18:17 AM
For years, many bitcoin hodlers have been  hoping that big companies will make use of Bitcon, and that's because it promotes more acceptance and trust for those who are still doubting it. So, I think anyone interested in bitcoin should be happy about that, after all "BITCOIN IS FOR EVERYONE."

Anyone who is specifically concern about price dump should monitor the market closely, sell when they feel it will dump and re-buy when the price is low. Though this is for those who knows what they are doing.
178  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling my forum account on: January 14, 2021, 11:01:19 PM
Even if the sale of accounts may not be prohibited but frowned on by the forum, it's still best to know what your account is used for if you actually care about your reputation in the forum. Hopefully, the new owner won't use it for scamming people since it's a senior member account.

If the account you used in posting is the said account, some DT members might red tag it because of this post you made.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 11, 2021, 06:24:39 AM
We have one in this forum.
This guy seems always win since every day I receive his bragging messages.
I tried to follow his path but got beaten to a pulp by the casino.

Lol, you followed his path and got beaten because there is somethings he is not sharing; which are the vital things he does that led to his winnings. Don't blame him though, when a method (especially in games) is saturated, it becomes hard to win.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have my 600$ stimulus check, good time to buy btc? I plan to hold for the short on: January 05, 2021, 08:48:54 AM
It's not about following the what others are doing, sometimes following the crowd might not work for you: So do you.
Since you said the morning is what you can afford to lose, then I will say go for it. But again, I will say you should just let it sit longer than you intend to even if the bull trend stops, it will start again, then it will be your gain.

Also, consider other means you can earn income to survive if your money is cooling off in Bitcoin.
