1121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hunting for $10k, will we make it? on: April 22, 2018, 05:37:38 PM

My answer is always the same: "I’m not selling!" These are extremely volatile markets so Bitcoin might go up to $10k or down to $6k short-term. But I am bullish and the fundamental reason why I invested in Bitcoin hasn’t changed. It may also go to $60k or $600k one day, and this is my bet.
If you’re here for short-term gains, then good luck to you. It’s much harder than you think! Wink

Same here! I ain't selling either. I don't understand why most people get all excited whenever there is a little increase in the price of bitcoin. There is nothing that special if bitcoin reaches the price of $10k, I mean, we have experienced this price before and now, we are hoping for a bigger price. I guess it's those that invested when the price was high that's hoping for an increase of $1k.
1122  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to World' income on: April 22, 2018, 11:31:30 AM

Same goes for the fiat money too. It's a known fact that the top 1 percent of the richest people on Earth owns more than 50% of the world's wealth.

I think there's something wrong in OP's calculations because the 280 trillion USD is not an "income" but the wealth held by 4.8 billion adults across the globe. But nevertheless it's interesting to contemplate on what part of the global wealth is reserved to Bitcoin.

Yeah, you are right, same goes for the fiat money too. The world is an unfair place and there has never been a time where the distribution of wealth is ever equal. It's just so unfortunate that it will be happening in cryptocurrency too, regardless of the fact that it has a decentralized nature. Probably the OP's calculations are just estimations. Since BTC is not fully  recognized by some countries, then I think  that the global wealth reserved to BTC, for now, will be less.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and investment - different discussion on: April 22, 2018, 05:44:19 AM

As a gambler, i never made any money through my investment, Gambling is for just fun so instead of investing in gambling better invest into trading and ICO project which can easily give you higher returns. You need to check clearly before investing into any ICO.
Gambling is not an investment. It's just a game that has a probability of earning you some money. So there is no way you can say 'I invested in gambling '. It's awkward; because there is a higher possibility that you might lose than win. And moreover,  you shouldn't fully gamble for fun cause if you do regularly you might end up losing multiple times. I am not saying you shouldn't have fun with your game, do so but put your best strategies in action.
1124  Other / Meta / Re: My friend introduce me to btc. At first I was hesitant..... on: April 21, 2018, 08:11:39 PM
One guy contact me on Facebook some time ago, asking some stupid questions about the bounties here, then ask me, home many account I have and that one of his friends was managing a few accounts with more than 80 bounties simultaneously, and he was wondering how can he managed all this work....so this is the result...

80 bounties simultaneously?! Dang it! Some people can be fucking selfish. I know most people may want to earn few BTC through a signature campaign, but at least do it and have the best intentions for the forum in mind. I guess this are the accounts that shit posts. Sometimes, I find it hard to complete my signature task for the week cause I have an offline work and activities to manage. It's so heart breaking that some people can do things to the extreme because of money.
1125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit $25k in 2018? on: April 21, 2018, 03:16:33 PM
Yesterday, i have read a news from ccn.com. They predict that Bitcoin price will hit again $25k by the end of this year and could hit $250k in 2022. What do you think? The news link is= https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-at-25000-price-is-headed-to-the-moon-analyst/.
I really don't pay much attention to bitcoin price prediction news sometimes because most of them don't really come to pass as predicted. I  can agree for the price of 25k been the price of bitcoin this year, though it's still very uncertain. But for the price of bitcoin to be $250k in 2022, this is what I call an over exaggeration and over estimation. Though, this price will be possible but it will take a gradual process.
1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about support in crypto casinos? on: April 21, 2018, 10:21:55 AM
It depend on the casino site you are playing on, most casinos are the worst of their kind in the aspect of support unit. Their  major intention and interest is the the money and nothing more. They tend to ignore their users complaint; I don't want to go deep by mentioning names. I have had postive results from sites like Nitrogen and few others but my favorite is Bustadice. There support unit is what I can personally say is quick and quite helpful.
1127  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Gambling site - Partners needed on: April 21, 2018, 05:54:59 AM

You have been living under a cave mate.I don't know if I'm not getting your point or you mean anything else but this is so not the time for any gambling sites to clog the market.Even if they did, chances are they will be among the low graded gambling places where people usually avoid to gamble.Unless of-course,you put a million in marketing or something.

He might still make it even if gambling sites are already saturated.  All is he needs to do is to make a research on the top gambling sites and know what makes them outstanding, then he could add other features which are lacking in those sites and include them in his site. Gamblers like to try new things; so if a new site comes up and is fair and offering something different from the others, gamblers will willingly patronize it.
1128  Other / Meta / Re: @Admins: Merit not working as configured, trolls just don't care (no surprise) on: April 20, 2018, 08:34:53 PM
Carlton Banks, your idea may seem okay, but it has many disadvantages more than advantages. Before ideas like this are implemented, one has to weigh the  difference between the advantage & and the disadvantages.

The payment and return rate you stated may seem okay to you, but have you concerned that there will be tendencies where people will accuse the admin of not being fair with their return rate payment. Now this will be another matter arising for the admin to solve instead of the normal forum issues. It's just in people's nature to complain.

There are some newbie whom just open account in this forum to ask for technical help and have gotten some positive feedbacks.  And this is part of what made this forum the top of all cryptocurrency forums. Asking them to pay to ask for help is just odd. If another crypto forum can provide this help without asking for any payment why should they care about this forum? This will just drag this forum to zero.

You personally,  might want to pay to post, but do you think others verten users will do this? Or else if you want this forum to be a participation of some selected users.

I believe the admin has a better plan of stopping the spammers which he is yet to unveil.
1129  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pornhub Casino now accepting bitcoin and many other cryptocurrency! ph.casino on: April 20, 2018, 02:34:50 PM
This is really my first time hearing about this casino. I wonder why it's not popular like the parent site since it has been on since 2 yrs now.  For me, Sex and gambling is so opposites and very distracting. For people that have played there, how do you guys manage to focus with all the distracting images. I visited the site, has a good layout and it's a good thing they have implemented the use of bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies.
1130  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Low activity long term BTC investing? on: April 20, 2018, 11:17:41 AM
This days, it's so hard to find a trusted bitcoin loan company that don't have the main idea of scamming people off their hard earn money. You might find if you keep searching. I too have some bitcoins cooling off in my wallet and I intend to keep them there for a very long time. It's best the coins stay there and give a good profit after a long time than been used in an investment that will yearn absolutely nothing.
1131  Other / Meta / Re: [April fools] New new rank requirements on: April 18, 2018, 07:12:12 PM
Just thinking; isn't it high time a moderator lock this thread? We should seriously stop posting on this thread. We have past the middle of the month and looking at the day the topic was created, it was an 'April fool joke' and it happens only on the first day of April. it has served it's purpose. Some of us are asking what's fmerits  Huh Jeez, this whole thing was a joke at least look at the topic.
I guess writing this makes me part of those draining the thread too Lips sealed
1132  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Just started a new project, let me know what you guys think! on: April 18, 2018, 07:01:01 AM

I have my own project to worry about design on.  :/

Anyway, don't spend any money on anything until you figure out a way to get the customer the private key without you ever seeing it.
I totally agree with you.  The main issue of setting up this project is that all the wallet information of the new wallet is already being viewed prior before it reaches the owners. There is no way he and his brother will create and load the card without viewing the private key which is delicate feature of a secure wallet and it's unfortunate private keys can't be changed easily  because you cannot change one key of an address without changing the other as well.
Besides, creating a wallet is not a hard job it takes up to a minimum of five minutes to ten minutes for a noob to create an online wallet which I believe anyone can do.
1133  Economy / Economics / Re: Whose problems does Bitcoin solve? on: April 17, 2018, 11:35:39 PM
Interesting article.  Above all the problems that bitcoin tends to solve, my favorite part is helping to protect my privacy.  I among the type of people who usually feel so skeptical about  putting my credit card information on any sites just to make purchases. Though, bitcoin is yet to be accepted on most of my favorite site like Amazon, I can still spend a few of my coins to purchase something I want when I am not holding.
1134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade or HODL? on: April 17, 2018, 09:45:16 PM
My suggestion is that you shouldn't use all your coins to trade since you are learning how to do it and since you're eager to trade. Though, personally,  I won't trade now if I were you because the market is unstable. Though, you may quickly do a short trade but you have to be very vigilant because there is a tendency that you might lose your money if you didn't monitor the market activities well.
1135  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: April 17, 2018, 06:43:10 PM
If the government ends up supporting bitcoin then it will be a good thing and a welcomed development. But I doubt if they will ever plague their support for any cryptocurrency because they have so much to lose when they do. The government can't seem to lose their control over monitoring their citizens' monetary activities. And their support for bitcoin will make a lot of people shy away from fiat currency.
1136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Price Manipulated??? on: April 17, 2018, 11:36:01 AM
I don't think it can be avoided. There are always people with enough assets to move the market and that applies even outside of bitcoin. We small fishes would have to learn how to swim with the waves these people create.
Exactly, I totally agree with your opinion; it can't really be avoided. The world has always been made up with the rich and the poor. Sometimes the rich manipulates the economy for their own gains and this is the same thing that is going on the world of cryptocurrency. But looking at it in another way, the poor can still benefit from this manipulation if they play their cards well and are vigilant.
1137  Other / Meta / Re: Someone trying to get to my account? on: April 17, 2018, 05:58:32 AM
I would change my password if I were you, but definitely not from the link provided by the anonymous person, change it directly from the forum. And like others have said, hide your email. And besides, it's not every link you see on the forum that you should click on. Some users are only here to monitor many user's activities and hack accounts since the new system makes it hard for them to rank up.

1139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Definition for bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater on: April 16, 2018, 09:51:06 PM
Hello folks,

I often discuss with friends and family about newspaper articles where banker, politicians and ceos give their options about the future of bitcoin.
Bankers speak mostly against bitcoin and spread FUD. People who work in the information industy often like the idea.

What do you say? Is there a definition of bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater? And how would you describe them?
I really don't understand. What do you mean by defining the bitcoin fans and bitcoin haters? There is no need to define them,  these people are the governments, the banker, some businessmen and also some pessimistic people who do not like to see the success of others. Even  the media are enjoying all the dramas because they are sometimes been paid to post crabs.
1140  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What will happen when facebook gets replaced by blockchain?? on: April 16, 2018, 07:35:27 PM

I have read today stating Facebook gonna launch their new ICO and new coin in the market. I do not think they having blockchain left on the distributed open ledger.
If you use the private medium network means it will be able to transacting the cryptos with in that ledger itself.
Hope Facebook would not compete the blockchain at anytime.
Really?  Where exactly did you get the news from? Cause most people might be circulating news that ain't true especially now that Mark is trying to resolve issues regarding security with some the legislature. I don't think the legislature might like it, they might term another meaning to it. Well, if Facebook won't compete with blockchain, then it wouldn't be a problem and in as much as this is will be a good project.
