161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: April 23, 2018, 09:03:30 AM
bitcoin transaction is very high it's really disappointed.

True its really disappointing to see that bitcoin somehow is being held back by these rates where as it its progress could greatly be amplified by providing a much better experiences in trading and other transactions.
162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 23, 2018, 08:52:43 AM
Possesses bitcoin as well as holding a gun  Huh Smiley Huh
http://bitcoinnews.com/cryptocurrencies-gun-crime-canada/

I think that is absurd, bitcoins doesn't even go against current laws much more inflict harm to others. These news somehow gives us idea how bitcoin is getting more and more famous that it is being incorporated to other subjects that should be totally not part of its functions.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: April 23, 2018, 08:04:30 AM
Digital settlement and reserve currency.

Payment system. Yes. Store of value. Sure. It can and has many functions.

It can be both since it in the end its value and function is based on its users though right now it is more of an investment because of its market value it is still a currency, its volatility just makes it hard to use as a currency now.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: April 17, 2018, 08:43:19 PM
I have seen these type of news all the time. But, when i check that actual site bitcoin payment is not included. may be they are doing this as a PR campaign.

I encountered once about these kinds of news though it is not a hotel it is a condominium offering stay-cation in our country. Though bitcoin is not listed as an option for mode of payment I was able to pay bitcoin after asking if they were able to accept it and I must say it was a fast transaction and less hassle to boot.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: April 17, 2018, 08:16:20 PM

i think Bitcoin is only profitable if done at large scales. you must get expensive mining equipment and of course it consumes a lot of electricity monthly. Also it’s usually much more cost effective to buy Bitcoins with this money instead of using it to buy mining equipment.

As based on what you pointed out it is easy to conclude that it is much better to buy bitcoin instead of mining it specially now that the graphic cards for mining bitcoin increases tremendously though with a proper miner will guarantee you to earn passively its cost defeats its purpose plus the risks of volatility may affect your estimated date of your return of investment.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to kill Bitcoin? on: April 17, 2018, 07:59:44 PM
You can never kill bitcoin. This is continuously going up and never expect that it will go down as it is already introduced and used all around the world.

If one or a group say that bitcoin can be killed, well try it first and I will believe him/her or them

I agree, bitcoin is not something that can just be killed or stopped, specially not now on this point. Bitcoin's existence is the people itself and since it is processed throughout the net, its data and system will continue to work as long as these factors exist.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: April 17, 2018, 07:22:10 PM
I have 20$ of bitcoin. What should i do with it instead of spending all.Tell me Pls. Cheesy

its a very small amount of bitcoin but still you can make something out of it if you bought it during the market dip where the bitcoin's value is very low, but my suggestion is you just trade your bitcoin with into other altcoins with that amount you can still buy a good number of atlcoins to hold which will give your 20$ a better potential for growth and profit.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Make Sure Bitcoin Never Ends? on: April 17, 2018, 07:14:23 PM
Some people like the Brazil Central Bank Chief called Bitcoin a Bubble & Pyramid Scheme, how can the bitcoin industry prove this wrong and make sure bitcoin never ends but grows bigger?

I think we need to increase the knowledge and awareness of everyone bitcoin and non bitcoin users alike regarding bitcoin's system and how it works together with its market thus it will give them enlightenment on how scams and various negative schemes are done using with bitcoin as a facade to victimized people.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You've been scammed. What you can do ? on: April 17, 2018, 06:32:58 PM
So everything is in the title.
What can you do when you have been scammed ? what are your possibilities to recover your funds, I mean here in the community, excepting going and report to the police.

Sad to say this is where cryptocurrency's system can backfire you when it comes to privacy in which it will be very hard for you to trace someone who used your funds nor the transactions itself. The least you can do is to spread information to prevent people to being victim to that scheme again.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: April 17, 2018, 05:17:02 PM
I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment. My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.

hold still my friend, you must never consider to cut your loss and sell your investment prematurely. Though it may seems too long and waiting seems hopeless the market always find a way to recover and by then you will be thankful in holding to that point. Investing to cryptocurrency needs patience but it is guaranteed to be profitable though uncertain when.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone just HODLing? on: April 17, 2018, 04:52:40 PM
I still  believe bitcoin will bounce back again , im a holder of bitcoin and tokens for almost 4 months and i lose 50% on my portfolio but still a true holder knows whats the best cause big rewards is coming for those hodlers.

True, its either you wait and wait or earn big from your investments, a true holder should never have to cut loss as their option and should be willing to wait patiently for its investments to earn a huge percentage before actually selling it. We have to remain firm and stick to our set goals regardless of the current events in the cryptocurrency market.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: April 17, 2018, 04:09:03 PM
Ultimately, everything has value because people agree so. The same is true for fiat. In reality fiat is only a piece of paper and we all agree it has value. The only difference between fiat and btc is who backs what. What scares people the most is that btc has no issuing authority. They feel unprotected using it. But so far btc has proven itself to be formidable.

True, it wouldn't attain this much value if its market is not backed up securely and its investors and buyers will not flock this much if it is not credible. Bitcoin wouldn't even be considered a currency today and be compared to the current fiat if it doesn't have the characteristics to contend what currencies we are used to.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin use in pyramiding scam? on: April 17, 2018, 03:49:26 PM
bitcoin use in pyramiding scam?
there's a lot of people willing to get a money in just a blink of an eye..but using bitcoin in scam is not as good a many others say, some of them willing to take advantage of the weakness of person who had get tired of being poor, dont be so sure of what you do..when you want to get rich you should be a hardworking person.
BITCOIN is a digital currency, dont even use it in scam or in a wrong way get more of it.

It is sad to see that as much as bitcoin becomes an opportunity to earn profit and be successful it has also become an opportunity for these scammers to earn money by looking for unwary victims who doesn't have the ample knowledge about bitcoin to protect themselves. I think this affects the image of bitcoin more and hinders its progress towards acceptability throughout the world because of these negative instances.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to be a Bitcoin Millionaire?! on: April 15, 2018, 05:35:03 PM
http://bitcoinmillionairechart.com/

Take your guess as to when $7,500 will be hit!

Its everyone's goal or perharps atleast they plan on reaching that upon starting to invest to bitcoin. Well I expected bitcoin to increase so much enough for the remaining strong hands investors to reap the most of its profits finally managing to reach even more than being millionaires.

176  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: March 22, 2018, 03:50:43 PM
people mostly spend their bitcoins on digital goods. i think we have to see a wider variety of merchants accepting bitcoin payments. for example when i need to buy a new sofa, or maybe some furniture. would be great to use bitcoin as form of paymenr there.

True, I mostly spend it for in-currency and online shopping since I don't have any credit card nor paypal bitcoin has become really convenient when it comes to online transactions and have never been more efficient and easy to use compared to other online mode of payments out there.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 22, 2018, 03:28:05 PM
I would but more like a currency compared today which it is primarily used as an investment option because of its high value. If bitcoin would be stable then I think it would become a very efficient online currency and investment opportunity wise I know altcoins would easily take over bitcoin if these happens.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you ❤️ crypto??? on: March 22, 2018, 03:16:55 PM
crypto change my financial for now,, i become a free man without bos,
and thats why i love crypto my friends

This is so much true, not to mention its huge potential profit that can even surpass monthly income from a regular job salary with a fixed schedule and people to follow. Cryptocurrency gives us freedom financially in a whole new point of view.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where to sell btc? on: March 22, 2018, 08:32:07 AM
Hey I am still a junior member and I doesnt know everything about btc, I just want to ask that if ever we are going to sell our bitcoin, there will be an immediate buyer?? and where to sell it. please respect my post.

You can check etherdelta, its a good trading platform with a very active market that has alot of users that continuously buys and sells bitcoin and even other altcoins and tokens from time to time. The rate on how fast you may sell your bitcoin depends on the market price and on how much you are going to sell it so if you want to sell your btc immediately then you may want to sell your bitcoin with the lowest market value at the moment.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Trading When Red? on: March 21, 2018, 05:27:51 PM
Nope, not yet whenever the market is red I tend to stop trading and just hold unless I want to buy more cryptocurrency but so far I learned to just stay firm and calm during these time. Buy low and sell high is the golden rule of trading so I suggest that you wait for the market to recover before trading again.
