i will make it simple in laymans terms so you can tart it up into the proper legal terminology
Terms and conditions Some retailers may charge an activation fee, delivery fee or service charge fee ontop of the advertised price, to cover the costs outside of giftcoins.me control. Please be aware that the redemption rate is based on MTGox +10%, the actual redemption value you receive will be able to be seen prior to redeeming your card. Due to the nature of these products a refund is not possible after a redemption has occured. for more details of our policies please contact us at: <your email>
I would also like to see something like this.

got my unit yesterday, customs was 220 euros something (I paid DHL to handel it). That is amazing unit! Thank you Avalon team! Can't wait to order 4th module Can you say if it was with or without PSU and Country of delivery? Just thinking about changing my order and remove PSU, but I have the impressione that in Europe there is no much trouble in customs with PSUs... Country of delivery = country of origin ?

It seems other active customers are not getting PMs sent back (after weeks). He might just be overwhelmed or well this is the beginning of the end of a large scam.
Or perhaps just the end of a company with shitty customer service. Respectable people that brought up a company from zero to something and spent lots of time trying to make it work do not leave those companies without a very, very good reason. Trust me, I know. Beginning of the end then?

I'm fine with your business as long as it is clear to the consumer how many bitcoins they will get for redeeming their x$ card.
If understand correctly...
You sell a card valued at x$ to a reseller for x$+y$* (where y is >= 0).
A consumer then pays a reseller x$+z$* (where z is >= 0) to a reseller to receive the x$ card.
* or %
Then one of the following happens...
The consumer redeems his x$ card for x$-n$ (where n >=0 which is a fee for performing the currency conversion) leaving m$. The consumer then receives m$ worth of BTC at the last trading price** of your chosen exchange. OR
The consumer redeems his x$ card. The consumer receives x$ worth of BTC at the last trading price** +b% (where b >= 0 which is a modifier to the last/average trading price) of your chosen exchange.
**or chosen hour-average
I hope I didn't give anyone a variable-overload. I'm just wondering if the consumers are "paying extra" twice to receive their bitcoins and if upon receiving their bitcoins they are paying a flat fee or are buying coins at an increased trading price.

And there really is a simple solution for it to prevent people from feeling like they are getting ripped off:
$100*
*To be redeemed at price equivalent to MtGox + 10%
Well, this is something. That should write on the site. That, and MtGox exchange value: MtGox:78.82 +10% or even better, calculated price: Our exchange rate is: 86.702With those writing on the site, you are covered and users will know exactly how much BTC will get when redeem... Not necessarily. There's still the time lag between when you buy the gift card and when you receive the code, and then when you receive the code and when you redeem it. Giving a guaranteed exchange rate isn't the goal of these gift cards at all. If that's what you're after, then you might want to look elsewhere... The exchange rate is something I would like to see somewhere, at least on the page you go to redeem your code(s).

0.9 something, we use bitstamp though
You need to absolutely up-front with your customers about any fees or differences from public exchange rates on the card, the card description on partner sites, as well as on your website. "Hidden fees" will get regulators and class action lawsuits crawling up your backside faster than you can spit. I highly recommend fixing this immediately, and I will not be recommending these cards until users of them (who have not read this unreferenced forum thread) know what they are getting. Yes, you need to post any fees that come up when redeeming the cards. I understand that resellers decide at what price to sell the cards. BitInstant got heat for not warning people about the ZipZap fees.

Hi BitSyncom,
Could you please check if my order is on your problem order list? My order number is #194 and it was made on Oct 6th, payment was made on the same day.
Thanks, I appreciate any update you can provide!
You think BitSyncom would have sent out emails to the people on the "problem order list".

seems that purchase limits on jagoo didn't prevent people buying all big cards, $200 and $100 sold out already People don't like spending small with bitcoin, $15 and $25 stand there unwanted Spending small wouldn't be that bad if it was economical.

Let us say that I'm buying a 100 dollar card and will redeem it when bitcoin is trading at 10 dollars. How much do I pay when buying the card and how many bitcoins do I get when I redeem?
you would get 8.8BTC, how much you would paid that card depends only on reseller Ouch.

question...
1) how do you plan on dealing with fraud, i see you pass on that problem to your re-sellers, is it something they are aware of?
2) if i buy the 100$ card today, and redeem it 10 days from now ( lets say bitcoin droped to 50$ by then ) would i get 2 bitcoin - some FEE??
I hope that resellers are aware that they are selling a stored-value card that once redeemed cannot be revoked. I would also like to know if there is a conversion fee upon redeeming the card. The 2.99 fee is actually competitive to doing moneypak trades with individuals, so i'm hoping that there is no other fees.

A lot of places that sell "gift cards" only accept cash (and sometimes debit). I hope and assume that stores selling physical versions of these will be taking such precautions. Especially early resellers/venders. sure there is physical one as well, just jagoo doesn't sell those I can send them to anyone just shipping will take some time, not fast option at all So, the physical ones don't have the security measures in place like the similar "gift cards" you see at walmart and such? They're just a redeem code on a card?

Cross posted from BTCT.co Asset News -- Regarding March 24th coupon All,
As difficulty may change right around the time of the next coupon payment may be delayed by ~1 hour to ensure the amount is correct.
I will post this to the bitcointalk thread as well.
Thanks in Advance for your understanding! And thanks for the advance notice

Was the point of registering a bitcointalk name so that people could get scammer tags for being late? How late do they need to be to earn a scammer tag?
I don't think being late on a loan makes you a scammer in and of itself.

I'm happy to report that my claim went through in less than 48 hrs after I submitted it.
I got my affidavit notarised at the US embassy here. It took 50 USD and an hour to get it all done. No Apostille required. Easier than running from one place to another.
For those wondering about how much you'd get now: I have 49 shares and am about to receive 8.45026177 BTC
Oooh, US Embassy, that's a good idea.
