161  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer s5 giving ---? on: September 08, 2017, 03:40:28 PM
If its not something loose, sending it for repair would prob be more expensive than getting a new one. They're kind of obsoleted now, and over the last 2 years half my S5 boards died partially of fully. Might be better off trying to get an A6.

The with these things is problem is my current setup output 8x 10A 240V C19 outlet. So i'd need really cheap 10A device that take C19. Otherwise i might as well redo my circuits to run 2-3x APC7941 for a fraction of the setup price. Same thing with the wired power switch relays.
165  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account Thief on: July 02, 2017, 02:25:21 AM
From what i can tell, ziploc+ is the same guy i dealt with a long time ago, i met with someone close to him in person for a hardware transaction.

However it seem more a "did-he-sell" or is it just "ransom" issue than a identity issue;
For what its worth, i really doubt ziploc would sell his account for a measly 0.03BTC, the seller/hack/whatever seem to be quoting a legit price for a Senior Member account, which make the quoted amount feel non-credible to me, since ziploc is very attached to his nickname.

Not sure what more i can do for you ziploc, so good luck with this misadventure.

Thanks, i'll keep looking. I'm still looking for a turnkey kit.

i know several people using simple rig resetter from this website
https://simplemining.net/

i know philipma1957 is useing these as well or was

Appear to be out of stock. Also i don't know if its a display bug because everything is out of stock but it would come down to 650$. If so i'd call it inappropriate pricing. Then again, i guess people would buy it anyways.
169  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: IBM DPS-4KW PSU (Dual DPS-2000BB) Breakout Boards and Packages!!! on: June 30, 2017, 01:20:45 AM
Please note:  I had a very unfortunate incident today in which my commercial space was completely flooded due to the gross negligence of a tenant above me.  Losses are significant, I have spent all day moving my inventory off-site and salvaging what I could.  My time is going to be spent fulfilling existing orders as quickly as I can, but I will not be available to quote new orders (some of the PM's are a week old or more) until later this week when I get myself situated.  I apologize for the inconvenience, and for anyone with outstanding orders please know that I am doing everything in my power to get your orders re-packed from un-damaged stock and will be shipping it out as soon as I am able to.

I'll patiently wait for you to catch up with my request!

Now i just need to find more sources of these 4kW monsters.

sorry to hear, i saw some of those 4k psu on amazon for 150 or so but do you really have to have the fans like finsky uses for them to work ? or do they over heat ?

I would just like to order the fan assemly and the dual fans I can get some PSU's from amazon i guess

No you can have those tiny blower fans that wreck anyone's ears. Its just a lot less noisy like this i guess? In some datacenter builds the fans are not always necessary.

Could you provide a link to the fan assembly mounting stuff? I am in the process of sourcing everything each piece myself.

Apologies everyone, but for the time being I am not accepting any orders.  I am not able to provide an appropriate level of service at this time, and cannot commit to reasonable timeframes. I will update in a few weeks once I get caught up.

"Get well soon."
170  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] RasPi Relay Plug and Play kit for remote restart GPU rigs on: June 29, 2017, 06:39:26 PM

Yep look like the right board. I need a full turnkey solution with all wires, software, etc. Pretty sure i saw someone selling the full kits in the past.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which is more silent: 1 or 2 fan (GTX 10xx / RX 4/5xx)? on: June 29, 2017, 04:06:40 PM
I wonder which version (1 fan or 2 fan) of GTX 10xx / RX 4/5xx is more silent when mining at most optimal kH/kW setting (that is not at full load)?

If by 1 fan you mean blower, blower is definitively the loudest. I don't know other's experience but in hundreds of cards i've touched, bigger/better heatsink with more fan is quieter because of better dissipation, you can lower the fan speed for the same cooling as a noisy blower. I.E. 100% on Nitro cards is still quieter than 60% blower, but i only need my nitro cards at 40% for the same temperature as 60% blower.

Closing: Opted for cheaper alternative; switched PDU.

As per title, i am looking for a source for a remote kit, i saw some sellers before but i can't remember or have the time to research right this second.

I need to service at least 12 rigs this way. I will need all the cabling, PSU, etc. I think i already have a raspi but i don't know if its compatible or working so i'm okay with just buying a full kit.

Shipping to Canada, J8T 1S4
173  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Server PSU-powered GPU rig packages! Pico's, Risers, adapter cables, etc. on: June 28, 2017, 03:45:03 PM
I'm waiting for Finksy to recover from his unfortunate event.

Maybe sometime soon i'll be able to get some sample package.
174  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB/Canada] Jabb/Finksy 4K GPU kit on: June 28, 2017, 03:00:44 AM
I am looking for a sample for a full kit for dual DPS2000BB.

The list of components include but is not limited to;
-Board, 2x DPS-2000BB(Optional), 2x C19 cable, 2x fans(Optional), fan + mounting hardware

-FULL 6+ GPU Rig package for R9 390 or similar dual-plug GPU’s. So all the cables, PICO, CPU adapter, and everything else i can't think of that i need.

Shipping to Canada, estimate to J8T7T5

I inherited a two of each, Jabb 4k and 2880 kits from another user as part of a bulk sale. Shipping from Vancouver, BC. I also have high quality 6pin to 6+2pin cables for these too, just let me know how many you'd like.

I don't have any Picos and the PSUs though, you'll have to source those on your own.

Feel free to shoot me a PM to sort out the details if interested.

Thanks. I'll keep it in mind, unless you're giving me a bargain, for now i'll try to get a bundle!

177  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DPS2000BB Breakouts. New updates! on: June 24, 2017, 11:05:02 PM

I'm posting to show interest. Your 4K boards are compatible with both the DPS2000BB and the DPS2500BB? So if i understand correctly, since i'm having issue sourcing DPS2000BB, i could get DPS2500BB since they have the same pinout?

Also, do you plan adding voltage control, unless i missed it and you already have a solution for that?

And i would be interested in a sample, i'm totally willing to pay. I'm interested in these PSU's for GPU rigs to run them with PICOs. If you can sell full kits like Finksy i'd be interested as well.
Regardless once i have a full kit for the DPS2000 or 2500, i'd be inclined to post a basic review, if thats any interest to you.
I just need to research and pickup a FLIR, my farm is big enough that i need that to prevent burntout of connectors. Could be useful to rate experience as well. Maybe i can find a legit seller of one on the forum i could pay with Crypto.

Regardless of the little mention bits, i will have 800amps @ 240V to fill by 2018 so i will need quite a bit of server PSUs/BBs if i decide to go with these/Jabb's instead of my current ATX build.

The newer boards are often problematic for mining, you may want to look into ethOS, with which following guide, most users manage to mine the those boards properly;
